  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the background of the controversial attempt to establish a new public medical school linked to compulsory service as a means of strengthening public healthcare in Korea, and to raise anticipated problems with possible solutions. In Korea, healthcare is predominantly provided by the private sector focused on medical care, rather than public healthcare, even under the national health insurance system. The government has been mainly in charge of public health and unmet medical services from a residual perspective, but health inequalities still exist. To resolve this issue, the government created the concept of public health and medical service (PHMS) from a universal perspective and tried to strengthen the infrastructure of public healthcare and to foster core PHMS doctors by establishing a new public medical school linked to compulsory service in medically vulnerable areas. This study investigated the reality and concept of the new public medical school planned by the government, and identified problems such as the possibility of obtaining accreditation and evaluation before its establishment, the side effects of dividing doctors' roles, the waste of huge amounts of resources, and insensitive policies. In conclusion, in order to resolve health inequalities in Korea, we need to train doctors through medical school education that strengthens the social responsibility of doctors along with strengthening public healthcare infrastructure, and to provide a better environment for doctors working in medically vulnerable areas through sophisticated policies.

  • What is learning in the math classroom? Does a new term need to be coined for learning? Is the term over-used and it has lost it meaning? The responses of one hundred five teacher-candidates and graduate students were coded using the five levels researcher designed rubric which was modeled after Bloom's Taxonomy for depth of knowledge. The effects of understanding learning include the preparation of lesson plans, classroom instruction, the guiding of student learning, and the professional development of teacher leaders.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of synchronous induction programs on new fire-training students' grits and learning outcomes. The research target selected 108 new firefighters from Fire & Marine School. 108 is composed of 54 experimental and control groups and isexecuted once a week, 60 minutes per session, and 10 sessions of synchronous inducement program. The research tools used grids to conduct pre- and post-test, and the mid-term and final-term tests were compared and analyzed. The data analysis was conducted using the SPS 22.0 program. The results showed that the motivational program showed statistically significant differences in the grids and had a significant impacton the final exam results of new firefighters. So, you have a passion for long-term goals and a passion for long-term goals. Research will need to be conducted continuously to raise the level of effort and provide fire-fighting school programs that can help with academic achievement.

  • Sampling rate conversion widely used in subband coding, A/D and D/A transitions etc. is an important techniques Nyquist filters and the filter banks have been used for the sampling converter. However, they need many memories and, whenever the sampling rate is changed, it is necessary to design filters. So the objective of this paper is to present a new kernel that is quick to evaluate and has a good stopband performance.

  • Emerging applications in automation, medical imaging, traffic monitoring and surveillance need real-time data transmission over Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Guaranteeing Quality of Service (QoS) for real-time traffic over WSNs creates new challenges. Rapid penetration of smart devices, standardization of Machine Type Communications (MTC) in next generation 5G wireless networks have added new dimensions in these challenges. In order to satisfy such precise QoS constraints, in this paper, we propose a new cross-layer QoS-provisioning strategy in Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs). The network layer performs statistical estimation of sensory QoS parameters. Identifying QoS-routing problem with multiple objectives as NP-complete, it discovers near-optimal QoS-routes by using evolutionary genetic algorithms. Subsequently, the Medium Access Control (MAC) layer classifies the packets, automatically adapts the contention window, based on QoS requirements and transmits the data by using routing information obtained by the network layer. Performance analysis is carried out to get an estimate of the overall system. Through the simulation results, it is manifested that the proposed strategy is able to achieve better throughput and significant lower delay, at the expense of negligible energy consumption, in comparison to existing WMSN QoS protocols.

  • Firms spend enormous efforts identifying current processes and understanding the related details before establishing new business processes in their business process redesign (BPR) projects. Considering excessive efforts required during the analysis phase and limited support to BPR projects, need for a better method is evident This article describes a method of modeling enterprise business processes bayed on common business forms. By identifying form operations and form field types, the proposed method provides redesign view on the information handling as well as the current process flows in the form of an Event-Process Chain (EPC) diagram.

  • Times are changing in Italian healthcare and Traditional and Non Conventional Medicine has become increasingly relevant to medical practice. With this comes an increasing need for guidelines. As the use of Traditional and Non Conventional Medicine has increased in Italy, so has the need for high standards in education in this field (outside of biomedicine and the dominant health system) among medical students, medical doctors and medical educators. The rise of Traditional and Non Conventional Medicine is so relevant for medical practice and health care in Italy; the time calls for a change. The article describes this new setting in regards to education in Acupuncture within the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Italy's oldest private school.

  • In this study, we report the development of a new dual reporter vector system for the analysis of promoter activity. This system employs green fluorescence emitting protein, EGFP, as a reporter, and uses red fluorescence emitting protein, DsRed, as a transfection control in a single vector. The expression of those two proteins can be readily detected via flow cytometry in a single analysis, with no need for any further manipulation after transfection. As this system allows for the simultaneous detection of both the control and reporter proteins in the same cells, only transfected cells which express the control protein, DsRed, can be subjected to promoter activity analysis, via the gating out of all un-transfected cells. This results in a dramatic increase in the promoter activity detection sensitivity. This novel reporter vector system should prove to be a simple and efficient method for the analysis of promoter activity.

This work was related to fabricated 3-dimensional device for need of micro device in developing new intelligence age. This device was fabricated by electroplating used electroplating PR and high-vacuum evaporation of metal. Fabricated micro-inductor is consisted of air-bridge on electroplating rod and electroplated core. Micro-capacitor is consisted of thin metal membrane and electroplated core. Electroplating material is used Cu metal solvent. Air-gap between metal-layers function as almost perfect isolation layer. The most advantage of our micro-inductor and micro-capacitor compared to present device is a possibility that can fabricate on RF MEMS(microelectro-mechanical systems) application with high performance and various function.
