  • In this paper, we consider of a convexifiable programming problem with bounds on variables. We obtain Mond-Weir type duality theorems for the convexifiable programming problems. Moreover, we give a numerical example to illustrate our duality.

  • According evolution of computer technology, computers execute complex and several tasks. Because of the complexity of program and restriction of programming language, applications are implemented using one more programming language. But it is no general methodology for using several languages and implementing it. This paper classified usages of programming language integration and methodology for implements programming languages integration through HLID(Heterogeneous Language Integration Degree) for solving above problem. And using HLID, it designed and implemented Java Preprocessor that improvement JNI-current implementation for integration between object-oriented language Java and procedural language C.

  • In this paper, an automatic programming error-diagnosing system is provided for novice C programmers by plan matching and program execution. Program execution results are used to provide flexibility in describing the relationship between programming plans, to verify the correctness of the plan matching differences, and to detect the influence of a plan's error to the related plan. We can give easy and informative explanations to the students according to a plan's error and the resulting effects to related plans. The students are consulted to check their program's correctness with the given test data. Our error-diagnosing system is tested with student's programs for the 14 various and difficult problems and gives acceptable recognition results.

  • In this paper, we present the development of a system(WebPierrot) that helps end-users to generate home pages with the construction of their corresponding web databases without the web programming technique. It consists of a page editor. a database wizard and a database manager. The page editor creates and modifies multimedia home pages. The database wizard generates databases operated with home pages automatically, and the database manager maintains the database related to the home pages. The page editor has been made based on the DHTML(Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language) and lets users generate multimedia home pages interactively. The database manager creates, updates and manages web databases. The system has the advantage which end-users can create multimedia home pages containing databases without requiring web database programming.

Modeling Service based on XML Schema for MPEG Multimedia Middleware

  • Recently MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) has started a new standardization activity called MPEG Multimedia Middleware (M3W). The M3W supports multimedia applications Independent of hardware and software such as operating systems so that the portability and interoperability of multimedia applications are greatly improved. In doing so, the M3W adopts the concept of a service-based middleware. The M3W standardizes a set of multimedia Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and their implementations can be pro vided by third parties In the form of services. In this paper, we introduce the usage of XML metadata in describing the standard multimedia APIs and third party's services and also we explain the role of the XML Schema within the M3W in providing transparent access from application to the M3W services.

  • With the wide spread use of multimedia device, the demand for the image processing engineers are increasing in various fields. However there are few engineers who can develop practical applications in the image processing area. To teach practical image processing techniques, we need a visual programming environment which can efficiently present the image processing theories and, at the same time, provide interactive experiments for the theory presented. In this paper, we propose a visual programming environment of the integrated environment for image processing. It consists of the theory presentation systems and experiment systems based on the visual programming environment. The theory presentation systems support multimedia data, web documents and powerpoint files. The proposed system provides an integrated environment for application development as well as education. The proposed system accumulates the teaching materials and exercise data and it manages, an ideal image processing education and research environment to students and instructors.

  • When we present some information, we can use application programs through multinedia-based authoring tools. Especially.many programers proposed to improve its intergration time and reduce programming speed and easy to use. However, multimedia based authoring tools have not all of programming methodolgies and do not supply special functions from user's request. Therefore, we have to apply effective functions through high-level programming languages.In this paper, we propose to use small appkication prograns through linking methods, So we reduce overhead from memory loading In authoring tools, we can use MCI(media control interface) call functions for playback audio files.we development ATS(Auto Transition System) for several functions-close MCI call audio files, get object status, page-to page trancition.We evidently show that an optimal configuration of presentation obtained by ATS algorithm.

  • In a variety of fields, highly developed technology is being combined to create a lot of value. In order to keep up with this global trend, the Ministry of Education, which is in charge of national education, continuously develops and applies content for creative education to textbooks. The continuous development of content for creative education is not only related to national interests, but also to the continued development of mankind. Today, the succession and development of human knowledge is in charge of the education system. Research into an effective educational system is necessary for effective succession of rapidly developing science and technology and building up technical personnel with such skills. In particular, the computer science field is faster in development than other scientific fields and has accumulated many technologies, indicating that it takes a lot of time and good teaching to foster talent that can effectively utilize the technology. In this paper, elementary school subjects were analyzed to achieve the purpose of cultivating talent in the field of computer science. In addition, we have investigated techniques related to computer programming learning not covered in elementary school subjects. So we developed content that students need to practice. Next, we taught the content to randomly selected elementary school students and assessed their educational effectiveness. As a result of training using the content we developed, 55.37% increased academic performance.

Gait Programming of Quadruped Bionic Robot

  • Foot bionic robot could be supported and towed through a series of discrete footholds and be adapted to rugged terrain through attitude adjustment. The vibration isolation of the robot could decouple the fuselage from foot-end trajectories, thus, the robot walked smoothly even if in a significant terrain. The gait programming and foot end trajectory algorithm were simulated. The quadruped robot of parallel five linkages with eight degrees of freedom were tested. The kinematics model of the robot was established by setting the corresponding coordinate system. The forward and inverse kinematics of both supporting and swinging legs were analyzed, and the angle function of single leg driving joint was obtained. The trajectory planning of both supporting and swinging phases was carried out, based on the control strategy of compound cycloid foot-end trajectory planning algorithm with zero impact. The single leg was simulated in Matlab with the established kinematic model. Finally, the walking mode of the robot was studied according to bionics principles. The diagonal gait was simulated and verified through the foot-end trajectory and the kinematics.
