미국 테네시주 컴벌랜드 고원의 대부분은 혼합 침엽수림으로 되어 있어 기존의 성장과 산출 예측 방식을 적용하기 어렵다. 또한 그들의 역사가 알려져 있지 않을 뿐더러 많은 부분이 동령림이 아니기 때문에 성장과 수확 예측 모델을 만드는데 있어서 지위지수를 변수로 사용하는 것이 제한되어 있다. 임지형(landtype)은 거의 같은 수확을 내는 임지를 포함하도록 고안되어 있기 때문에 이런 혼효림에서 지위지수 대산 사용될 수 있다. 임지형을 사용한 식생 결정을 위해, Chi-square로 임지형과 임형(forest type)과의 의존성을 검사하였다. 임지형 사이에서 수확의 유의성은 회귀분석과 분산분석을 이용하여 검사되었다. 흉고단면적성장(basal area growth)은 Moser and Hall(l969)이 개발한 비선형 모델에 적용되었다. 또한 흉고단면적성장과 재적성장은, 임지형과 임지형급(landtype class)에 의한 선형 회귀분석을 통해 최초 총 흉고단면적과 최초 재적에 관한 하나의 함수로서 예측되었다. 분산분석으로 임지형에 따른 흉고단면적성장과 재적성장의 유의성을 검사하였다. 지위급(site class)과 임지형의 유의성은 Chi-square로 검사되었다. 표본 강도가 낮아 검증이 의심스러웠음에도 불구하고, 식생형 (vegetation type)은 연구 지역 내 임지형과 관계된 것으로 보인다. 본 연구에서 임지형 간의 수확은 통계학적인 유의성이 발견되지 않았다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the physical characteristics of the detached housing area in the housing site development district. The process of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the physical structure and the building use, then to analyze the relationship of physical structure and the building use in the aspect of the morphological characteristics. The case study focuses on the Chil-kok2, An-Siml in Taegu. The streets pattern is composited gird and loop type mixed. The block is composited by 2 lots in general. But the obscurity of organization and character of the streets, the size and shape of lots which is not fit to the building use. A whole residential characters appears high residential density ratio. so residential environment became worse. The improving level of residential environment and efficiency of land use in the detached housing area of the housing site development district, firstly the propriety of the physical structure must be considered about detached house characters, and the housing uses which fit to the physical structure are needed, and also for the concrete realization of this, the designation of district, the zoning of residential area, the guideline of the district design, and establishment of comprehensive master planning in detached housing area are needed in aspect of the housing policy. As the result of this study, it suggests several design guideline to improve housing site development.

GOCI 영상은 육상 관측에 적합한 공간해상도와 빠른 관측주기를 가지고 있지만, 현재까지 육상분야에 활용된 예가 많지 않다. GOCI 영상이 육상분야에 활용되기 위해서는 정교한 전처리가 수행되어 신뢰성을 갖춘 기본적인 산출물 형태로 제공되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 GOCI 영상의 육상 활용을 위하여 구름의 영향이 최소화된 기본 산출물 제작에 필요한 구름 탐지 기법을 제안하였다. GOCI 영상은 구름 탐지에 효과적인 단파적외선(SWIR)과 열적외선(TIR) 밴드가 없기 때문에, 이 연구에서는 GOCI 영상의 장점인 빠른 관측 주기로 얻어지는 많은 다중시기영상을 이용하여 구름을 탐지하는 방법을 개발하였다. 제안한 구름탐지 기법은 세 단계로 구성된다. 1단계와 2단계에서는 1번 밴드 반사율과 1번과 8번 밴드의 반사율 비(b1/b8)에 임계값을 적용하여 완전 맑음(confident clear)과 두꺼운 구름(thick cloud)을 구분했다. 마지막 단계에서는 3일 동안 얻어진 b1/b8 값의 평균을 임계값으로 하여 얇은 구름(thin cloud)을 구분하였다. 이러한 순차적인 구름탐지 알고리즘을 적용하여 모두 4개의 등급으로 분류하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 기법을 GOCI 영상에 적용 후 그 결과를 MODIS 구름 산출물(cloud mask products)과 비교 검증하였다. 여러 시기의 영상에서 추출된 구름 면적을 비교한 결과 평균제곱근오차(RMSE)가 10% 미만으로 MODIS 구름 산출물과 유사한 결과를 얻었다. 육안 분석을 통해 구름의 공간적인 분포를 비교한 결과, MODIS 산출물과 비슷한 구름 분포를 보여주었다.

The purpose of designing Haebaragi park, legally designated as children park, is to make a place for children including residents performing outdoor recreation, various social interactions, and cultural activities. Design concept for space plan have twofold; the one is a positive and creative playing space and facilities for children, escaped from a monotonous playground, and the other is a cultural and social space for neighboring communities. The site having the area of 1,316.7 square meters, located in Nowon-Dong, Buk-Gu, Daegu metropolitan City, is just like a vest pocket park. The adjacent area had been developed a slum area with mixed ad visually conflicting land use patterns and low income groups. The children and residents living in the area do not have any public space suitable for playing and/or rest. After analyzing such locational characteristic as accessibility, land use of the communities, and potentials for park development, and such design concept as arrangement of facilities, efficient use of site, and functional allocation of park space, We have mad a plan for composition of spaces for various activities, provision of facilities based on estimation of user-demand and activities, and planting. In the design process, we have tried to harmonize functional spaces with facilities, and to organize all the functions as a whole. To improve urbanity and aesthetic shape of park design, we have introduced a central plaza, design of a pave floor, a torrent, large trees for shade, colonnades and so on. From this design project, we can develop the site as a children park for increasing creativities and various playing opportunities, and as a resident space for rest, cultural activities. In the future, it is required that many attempt to design and develop urban small space as a park for children and residents.

본 연구는 도시 메타볼리즘 관점에서 기후변화에 대응하기 위한 향후 도시계획의 방향을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 크게 이론고찰과 사례연구로 구성되어 있으며, 이론고찰은 기후변화대응 도시계획의 패러다임 및 도시 메타볼리즘의 개념 및 특성을 살펴보았다. 사례연구는 에너지 절감 및 자원 폐기물의 효율적 이용에 대한 계획수립 및 실천방안이 적극적으로 실현되고, 지역을 선정하여 투입 에너지 최소화, 재생 가능한 에너지 활용, 폐기물 재활용, 자원 재이용의 네 가지 측면을 분석의 틀로 하여 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 모든 사례에서 본 연구에서 제시한 도시 메타볼리즘 체계가 구축되어 있었다. 또한, 사례마다 주력하는 계획요소가 다른 것을 발견할 수 있었는데, 이는 각 지역의 여건을 고려하여 쉽게 얻을 수 있고, 활용이 쉬운 자원을 이용하는 계획을 중점적으로 적용하고 있었다. 이에 향후 메타볼리즘 관점의 기후변화대응 도시 계획을 수립하기 위해 가장 먼저 고려되어야 할 부분은 지역의 주변 환경 및 여건분석을 통해 지역의 잠재력을 극대화 시킬 수 있는 요소를 선택적으로 도입해야 한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Salt marsh is an important transitional zone among terrestrial, riverine, and marine ecosystems and is a productive habitat that interacts extensively with adjacent landscape elements of estuarine and coastal ecosystems. Nowadays, in addition to various human activities, a variety of natural processes induce changes in salt marshes. This study aims to provide background information to restore disturbed salt marshes and to propose their ecological restoration using seed banks. The study area is a prepared area for the Gwangyang Container Port located in the southern Korea. This area was formed by accumulating mud soils dredged from the bottom of the forward sea. This land was created in a serial process of preparing the Gwangyang container port and the salt marsh was passively restored by seeds buried in mud soil dredged from seabed. As a result of stand ordination based on vegetation data collected from the land, stands were arranged according to tolerance to salinity in the order of $Suaeda$ $maritima$, $Salicornia$ $europaea$, and $Phragmites$ $communis$ communities on the Axis 1. Landscape structure of the projected area was analyzed as well. Edges of the projected area were divided from the marginal waterway by the dike. Four types of vegetation appeared on the dike: $Alnus$ $firma$ plantation, $Robinia$ $pseudoacacia$ plantation, $Lespedeza$ $cyrtobotrya$ plantation, and grassland. In the more internal areas, two types of vegetation sequences appeared: $Aster$ $tripolium$ community-$Suaeda$ $glauca$ community-$Salicornia$ $europaea$ community sequence and $Aster$ $tripolium$ community-$Suaeda$ $maritima$ community-$S.$ $europaea$ community sequence. Mixed community showed the highest species diversity (H' = 0.86) and $S.$ $europaea$ community showed the lowest (H' = 0.0). Evenness is the highest in Mixed community (J' = 2.26) and the lowest in $S.$ $maritime-S.$ $europaea$ community (J' = 0.0). Several plant communities were successfully established on the land created by mud soil dredged from the bottom of Gwangyang Bay. Moreover, community diversity in this area approached a similar level with those from other studies involving natural salt marshes. Therefore, restoration effect based on community diversity obtained in our study can be evaluated as a successful achievement. In this respect, although most salt marshes in Korea and other places worldwide have been destroyed or disturbed by excessive land use, feasibility of seed bank as a restoration tool is greatly expected.

1979년 촬영한 흑백항공사진(黑白航空寫眞)과 1988년 촬영한 흑백적외선항공사진(黑白赤外線航空寫眞)을 이용하여 금오산지역(金烏山地域)의 토지이용변화(土地利用變化)와 임분재적(林分材積)의 변화(變化)에 관하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 항공사진상의 임상구분에 있어서 색조(色調)가 어두운 것은 침엽수림(針葉樹林), 색조(色調)가 밝고 수관이 매우 불규칙한 것은 활엽수림(闊葉樹休)으로 구분되었다. 2. 칩엽수림중 수관이 좁은 원추형이고 감촉(感觸)이 조(粗)하고 끝이 둥근 것은 소나무림, 감촉(感觸)이 세(細)하고 끝이 뾰족한 것은 리기다소나무림으로 구분되었고, 수관이 불규칙하고 넓은 원추형은 낙엽송림으로 구분되었다. 3. 임지(林地)의 면적변화(面積變化)를 살펴보면 혼효림에서 678ha가 소나무림으로, 130ha가 리기다소나무림으로 변화되었고 219ha가 활엽수림으로 변화되었다. 활엽수림은 279ha가 혼효림으로 변화되었다. 4. 수관직경(樹冠直徑)과 흉고직경(胸高直徑)과의 회귀식(回歸式)을 구하여 F-test한 결과, 모든 수종의 임분에서 유의성(有意性)이 있었고, 소나무림과 혼효림과 활엽수림에서는 $H=a+bD+cD^2$, 리기다소나무림과 낙엽송림에서는 logD=loga+blogCD 식이 $R^2$값이 높았다. 모든 수종의 임분에서 D=a+bCD의 식이 좋아 흉고직경계산시(胸高直徑計算時) 이 식을 이용하였다. 5. 수고(樹高)를 구하기 위하여 수고곡선식(樹高曲線式)을 유도하여 F-test를 한 결과 모두 유의성(有意性)이 있었고, 소나무림과 낙엽송림에서는 logH=loga+blogD, 리기다소나무림, 활엽수림 및 흔효림에서는 $H=a+bD+cD^2$이 좋았다. 6. ha당 재적(材積)이 가장 좋은 임분은 낙엽송림이고, 성장률(成長率)이 가장 좋은 임분은 혼효림이었다. 활엽수림은 ha당 재적과 성장율에 있어 가장 낮았다. 연간성장량(年間成長量)은 낙엽송림이 $4.005m^3/ha$로 가장 좋았고, 활엽수림이 $0.682m^3/ha$로 가장 낮았다.

This review paper discusses the relevance and potential importance of food-feed systems in Asian agricultural systems, and in particular the role and contribution of legumes to these systems. A food-feed system is one that maintains, if not increases, the yield of food crops, sustains soil fertility, and provides dietary nutrients for animals. It involves a cropping pattern within which the feed crop has many beneficial effects without competing for land, soil nutrients and water with the food crops. The agricultural environment is described with reference to the priority agro-ecological zones and prevailing mixed farming systems in Asia. Within these systems, animal production is severely hampered by critical feed shortages which can however, be alleviated by the integration of suitable leguminous forages into the cropping systems. The review also focuses on the role and potential importance of leguminous forages in terms of biodiversity, their uses in farming systems, beneficial effects on animal performance, and draws attention to six case studies in different countries that clearly demonstrate many benefits of developing such food-feed systems. Considerable opportunities exist for widening the use of forage legumes in the development of systems with several complementary advantages (e.g. fenceline, cover crops, fodder banks, forage source and erosion control) to improve the development of sustainable crop-animal systems in Asia.

Stream flow and water quality were measured and analyzed with respect to flow-weighted mean concentrations (FWMCs) of 21 rainfall events from a forested watershed (Forest Research Watershed: FRW) and two mixed watersheds of agriculture and forest (YuPo-Ri Watershed: YPW and WolGog-ri Watershed: WGW) located in the middle of the North Han River basin. The monitoring of each watershed was one year and conducted between 2004 and 2006. YPW showed more intensive agricultural practices than WGW where traditional practices were common. The average of the 21 FWMCs were in the order of YPF>WGW>FRW and were significantly different from each other at the level of 0.05. It was shown that the land use with intensive agricultural practices produced and discharged more NPS pollutants than that with traditional practices and forest. Specially, SS concentrations from the mixed watersheds were significantly higher than those from FRW. Influencing factors on runoff were analyzed rainfall and watershed area. And rainfall intensity was greater impact on runoff than daily rainfall. Measured water quality indices were shown positive correlations among them in general. However, no significant correlation was shown between COD and nutrients(T-N and T-P).

본 연구는 랜드스케이프 어바니즘을 적용한 도시재생적 실천전략을 모색하기 위해 연구되었다. 특히, 랜드스케이프 어바니즘을 산업사회를 넘어 지식정보산업사회의 도래와 함께 나타나는 도시화의 새로운 특성과 양상, 또 산업화시대의 신도시 이상을 넘어 도시재생이라는 새로운 도시 이상과의 상관성 맥락에서 도시재생에 어떻게 적용할 것인가의 관점에서 수행되었다. 본 연구의 결과, 랜드스케이프 어바니즘에서의 랜드스케이프의 의미가 도시를 대상으로 시각적, 장식적 차원의 정태적 풍경이 아니라, 변화, 진화 등의 맥락에서 동태적 과정을 대상으로 하고 있고, 지식정보산업사회가 지식 정보의 흐름 등 가속적 변화와 과정적 특징을 보이며, 이러한 사회적 특징에 따라 도시화도 형태와 기능 중심에서 흐름, 네트워킹, 중심성과 결절성, 지표면 등의 개념으로 구성되는 가치지향의 과정적, 동태적 특성을 보인다는 점에서 이들 3자간에는 그 본질적 개념에 있어 상호 관통되고 소통되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 산업화시대의 도시화에 대한 반성으로서 21세기 새로운 도시이상으로서 대두되고 있는 도시재생은 본질적으로 아스팔트와 콘크리트로 점유된 도시 경관판을 그린 인프라 구축과 디자인이라는 맥락에서 생태판에 문화를 도입한 문화판으로 구축해야 한다는 당위성에서 랜드스케이프 어바니즘과 일정의 괘를 같이 하고 있었다. 본 연구에서 제시된 랜드스케이프 어바니즘을 적용한 8개의 도시재생전략으로는 도시가 자연과 역동적으로 소통하고 진화할 수 있는 생태판의 구축, 생태와 도시민과의 소통을 위한 생태판의 문화판으로의 전환, 주택 및 상업지역에서의 그린 인프라 구축 등의 관점에서, 건폐율 규제, 높이 규제 완화 등의 필요성이 제시 되었다. 또한, 도시이전적지의 공원화, 하천 등 도시워터프론트의 공원화 등의 전략에서 공원의 도시적 관입 및 확산과 더불어 공원혼합용도에 대한 도입이 논의되었다. 이러한 새로운 경관판을 형성하기 위한 실행전략으로 사회의 변화에 역동적으로 부응할 수 있는 전략계획제의 도입이 논의되었고, 특히, 이미지니어링을 통한 가치계획을 추구함으로써 기능중심의 도시화에서 가치창출과 브랜드형성 차원의 도시화로 진화시켜 나아가야 할 것을 제시하였다. 이 모든 전략을 위해 기존의 경관, 토지이용 등 건축 및 도시개발 관련 각종 제도가 개선되어야 할 것으로 제안되었다.
