  • In general, the electronic commerce systems comprise the background system, terminal, network and smart cards. Among them, the smart card systems are expected to take a great portion of applications for the convenience of rapidly improving technology. The technology includes adopting RISC processors or co-processors for cryptography and developing new memory systems based on the standardization. In this paper, we investigate the overall trends of the technology and the standardization process of smart cards. We also propose the guidelines to enhance the capabilities of designing H/W and S/W related to COS(Chip Operating System).

  • PC카드 형태로 개발되어 사용되는 보안토큰은 다양한 보안서비스를 바탕으로 차세대 정보보호 기술의 핵심기술로 떠오르고 있다. PC카드 보안토큰 휴대용 컴퓨터 운용을 위한 메모리 카드 표준 인터페이스를 수용하여 다양한 암호알고리즘 수행이 가능하고, 사용자의 요구조건을 비교적 쉽게 수용하고, 아울러 다양한 응용분야에 사용되는 등의 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Motorola PowerPC 기반의 MPC860 마이크로 프로세서가 장착된 제어보드를 이용하여 PC카드 보안토큰에 대한 PCMCIA(Personal Computer Memory Card International Association) 카드 장치구동기 및 API(Application Program Interface)를 설계/구현하여 각각의 기능시험을 통해 그 기능들을 검증하였다.

  • We have developed MSPF (measurement system for physical fitness) which measures physical strength and body dimensions. This system has two main features, one is an automatic measurement of physical fitness, and the other is reducement of reading and writing errors caused by human during measurement. Using the MSPF, total ten items can be measured such as weight, height, sit up, push up,. etc. Since the system which have objectification and high precision has been needed, we used a memory card. By using this, it was easy to save and archive data by computer.

  • An aging Society solitary life old mans are increasing. The nurses have to visit old mans and must confirm their disease, because they do not act well. It is very difficult to take care old man, because the number of Nurses are small. This problem is solved by collection of data about condition of old mans from long distance. Data communication with Ethernet have benefit to collection of measurement of old man's condition. The Data storage system an long distance place are storaged data and after several day data was transmitted to the DB over the Ethernet. For Miniaturization of such system the system must be OS-less Embedded Ethernet Server system. Such system manages the file management system only with H/W. The Storage device is used SD-card. SD Card is small size and operates with small power. By using 512MB sd memory card, it is possible to storage during 5~6 years, 10 byte of temperature value per second. In this paper, we make a Embedded Ethernet Server using W3100A, Atmega128 MCU and data stroage device using SD-Card. This system operates with O/S-less Embedded Ethernet Server. We talk about file System, Storage and Ethernet. We explained about MCU Atmega128, Interface between LAN LSIand W3100A, Interface between W3100A and Phyceiver RTL8201, data I/O between MCU and SD-Card and File System. We shows the experiment device and result of monitoring.

  • To purpose of this study is to design and manufacturing of packing gland using CAD/CAM system. The computer system used in this study was constructed with CPU 80386, RAM memory 4M, VGA graphic card. We was composed with CAD/CAM system, with interface PC and NC milling machine. By using develop program, we designed packing gland and it's manufactured. The basic structure of automatic production system for packing gland was established.

  • In this paper, we propose a new storage system architecture called as U-Storage (ubiquitous storage system). U-Storage allows a user to access an on-line storage with any type of information devices that are able to connect to internet. The on-line storage is virtualized to the user's information devices as a local hard disk or a memory card by our U-Storage. With devices supporting U-Storage, users can read and write their data anytime and anywhere without downloading and uploading operation.

  • To purpose of this study is to model design and motion analysis of tangential cam mechanism using personal computer system. The CAD(Computer Aided Design) system used in this study was constructed with CPU(Central Processing Unit) 80486, RAM(Random Access Memory) 8M, CGA graphic card. By using developed program for tangential cam mechanism, we designed tangential cam models and analysed displacement, velocity, acceleration of follower.

  • Current paper introduces the additional multimedia module for digital TV. The module is developed for displaying the image captured by digital still camera, camcorder, or PC in the digital TV. For these purpose, the module has the interface circuit for accessing five media type of memory cards. It decodes JPEG, BMP, or TIFF image data saved in the memory card and converts the image data to analog RGB signal. It also supports three types of output image size from HD to WXGA resolution. So the introduced module could be adopted In the most of digital TV.
