  • 영상처리 기술을 이용한 PC정비사 자격증 취득을 돕기 위한 어플리케이션을 소개한다. 요즘 사람들은 컴퓨터의 마우스나, 키보드를 직접 이용하기 보다는 손의 제스쳐, 즉 흥미를 유발시켜 많은 사람들에게 이미지와 그래픽적인 부분을 추가시켜 소개한다. 요즘 화두가 되고 있는 멀티터치 테이블에 3D Maxs, C#을 이용해 각 부품의 Scale 및 Drag를 통해 카메라 뷰를 이동함으로써 효과적으로 자격증 취득을 돕는다. 또한 PC 정비사 국가 자격증에 출제되는 문제를 수록하고, 각 부품을 세부적으로 학습함으로써, 자격증 취득의 기틀을 마련한다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 멀티터치 테이블(MultiTouch-Table) 기반의 학습용 어플리케이션을 제안하고 그 성능을 시험하였다.

부분과 전체 : 근대 지역지리 방법론의 고찰 (The Part and the Whole : The Ontological Assumptions of Modern Geographical Thought about the Regional Geography)

  • 근대 지리학 방법론 논쟁에서 가장 주요한 쟁점은 지역 지리학의 학문적 성격에 대한 논란이었다. 그러나 대부분의 논의는 지역 연구의 절차를 제시하기보다는 지역 지리학을 형이상학적으로 정당화하는 데 머물렀다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 견해를 비판적으로 검토하기 위하여 지역 지리학 방법론에 내재하는 전제들 가운데에서도 부분과 전체의 관계에 대한 존재론적 가정을 가장 중요한 준거로서 설정하였다. 대부분의 논의는 유기체론에 근거하여 지역을 복합적 존재로서 인식하고, 생명체와의 비유를 통해 지역의 속성을 파악해야 한다고 주장하였다. 그러나, 단위 지역이라는 전제의 한계와 더불어 단순히 요소들을 열거하는 데에 머물렀으며, 지역의 복합성을 포착하지 못하였다. 이러한 한계는 생활양식이라는 전제 위에서 출발한 데에서 오는 당연한 귀결이었다.

  • The generalization of Internet use has been spreaded all over the world and impacted company to introduce intranet and extranet for their operation which dealt with electronic commerce. For these reason, endeavor of implementation of web site system is promotioned and enhanced the possibility of adaptation range for the view of company. Dramatic competition which company faced with the use of internet and request from all over the world made company brought company to various and different type of level. It is necessary to develop website system with experty knowledge to satisfy customer needs. To deal with this situation, works from the level of government should proposed to spread whole country business which propelled through kyungnam mechanic industry information promotion center. With strategic proposal concerning district characteristics to adapt electronic commerce successfully, information promotion should performed. Support of government is needed continuously to realize infra of ASP composed of 4,877 mechanic industry company. It might be possible to deal with international rapid change with cooperation of company and government related department.

일본 애니메이션<신세기 에반게리온>으로 본 메카닉 디자인의 정체성 분석 (An identity analysis of Mechanic Design through the Japan Animation )

  • 일본의 메카물 애니메이션은 전 세계 범위에서 널리 알려져 있고 유명한 작품들이 많이 있다. 1952년, 일본 최초의 메카닉 애니메이션이며 최초의 TV 애니메이션인 <우주소년아톰>은 탄생한 후부터 긴 세월에 걸쳐 지금까지 인 기가 있다. 아톰은 한 시대의 코드로서 많은 사람에게 영향을 주었다. 일본 메카닉 애니메이션은 자신만의 독특한 특색과 세계관을 대중에게 전달하고 있다. 본 논문은 일본 90년대에서부터 지금까지 폭발적인 인기를 얻고 있는 <신세기 에반게리온> 메카닉 디자인을 <기동전사 건담>과 비교분석을 통해 일본 메카닉 디자인의 변화를 알아보고자 함에 있다. 이런 분석 결과는 애니메이션에 반영된 일본 문화와 사상을 알려 줄 것이며 이는 애니메이션의 문화반영을 보여주는 좋은 사례가 될 것이 기대한다. <신세기 에반게리온>은 1995년에 상영한 후 일본 애니메이션계에 예상치 못한 영향을 주었으며 지금까지도 이를 재해석하고 분석하는 사람들이 끊임없이 나오고 있다. 이는 작품 자체가 가지고 있는 미스테리와 끝나지 않은 결론을 예상하기 위한 관객들의 반응이라 할 수 있다. 그런 특징을 반영하듯 에반게리온의 디자인에도 다른 메카물과 차별되는 디자인적 요소들을 찾아볼 수 있다. 인체 생명공학을 기반으로 한 메카닉 디자인은 기계라는 한계성을 극복하고 더욱 인간다운 모습을 느낄 수 있도록 한다. 인간 본성을 담을 수 있는 파일럿의 탑승구조는 엔터리 플러그라는 형식으로 강화되었고, 전굴 자세는 꼿꼿한 로봇이 아닌 인간다움을 더 부각시킨다. 이렇듯 <신세기 에반게리온>은 인간의 정체성을 반영할 수 있는 메카닉 디자인을 추구하고 있다. 80년대의 메카닉 애니메이션으로 <건담>을 뽑을 수 있는데, 90년대의 <신세기 에반게리온>이 이를 전혀 다른 디자인으로 보여주고 있다. 그러므로 두 작품의 메카닉 디자인을 비교해봄으로써 작품의 메시지와 디자인의 상관관계를 살펴본다. <신세기 에반게리온>에서 메카닉 디자인의 정체성과 작품 내용의 밀접한 관계를 제시한다. 향후 메카닉 디자인에게 좋은 사례 및 이론적인 바탕이 될 수 있음을 시사하려고 한다.

복잡계로서의 건축개념과 조형적 특성에 관한 연구(I) (The Architectural Concepts and Design Properties as a Complex System)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a new design concept and properties within new paradigm. Contemporary students of architectural design seem to redefine the mechanic and reductive approach to design method based upon Euclidean geometry. In this study, the organic space-time and holistic view-point that constitutes the background for all this is radically different from the modern design. It consists of three sections as follow: First, it presents a concept of complex system and properties of complexity that we find in new natural science and tries to combine that news geometry with architectural design to provide a methodological basis for morphogenesis and transformation. Second, the complexity in architecture is defined as a fractal shape, folded space, and irreducible organic system that cannot be fully understood by modernist idea of architecture. Third, the complexity in architecture is strategy based on the electronic paradigm that would enable the emergence of creative possibility. The complexity theory offer new insights to explain not only natural laws but also define dynamic architecture. In fine, this study places a great emphasis on the organic world-view to the spatial organization, which I hope will contribute to generating a greater number of creative possibilities for design.

  • This study aims to provide the fundamental date of HUANGTO GUDUL for applying to current house heating system. It has been used as a traditional heating system in Korea for a long time and disappeared in the course of industrialization in Korea last a few decades and these days is tend to be widely adopted as house heating system. Even though it is known that the traditional heating system of HUANGTO GUDUL is good for ecological environment house and a kind of the natural friendly heating system for optimum residential heating environment, there are few systematic researches and analysed data of it. In order to analyse the characteristics of HUANGTO GUDUL, the existing materials of it's historical change was studied. And the architectural prospects of the use of GUDUL on the point of view of environmental ecology. The data of relationship between the mechanic properties and the workability of GUDUL materials and the environmental index such as the heating environment, relative humidity, and deodorization ratio and so on. And the heating effectiveness of GUDUL was compared with existing modem materials by experimental analysis. The results stated above can be grafted architecture and will be offered the optimum heating environment.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine internet agent of IT(Information Technology) in health care industry Since IT is essential for corporate strategy in service management, this section examines IT in health care service, especially from the view of 'Agent Technology' that has been recently issued. Intelligent agent is a new paradigm for developing software applications. More than this, agent-based computing has been hailed as 'the next significant break-through in software development' and 'the new revolution in software'. And health care service is a non-mechanic, human-based service. This paper reviewed what possible suggestions or advices can be made to the health care service. Since many health care services using internet have been attempted over the recent years, this study will hopefully be able to come up with good suggestions from many aspects. Thus, information inequality between producer(physician) and consumer(patient) in health care service will be decreased through the introduction of agent technology.

Implantable Drug Delivery Systems-Design Process

  • The market of programmable implantable pumps has bound to a monopolistic situation, inducing high device costs, thus making them inaccessible to most patients. Micro-mechanical and medical innovations allow improved performances by reducing the dimensions. This affects the consumption and weight, and, by reducing the number of parts, the cost is also affected. This paper presents the procedure followed to design an innovative implantable drug delivery system. This drug delivery system consists of a low flow pump which shall be implanted in the human body to relieve pain. In comparison to classical known solutions, this pump presents many advantages of high interest in both medical and mechanical terms. The first section of the article describes the specifications which would characterize a perfect delivery system from every points of view. This concerns shape, medication, flow, autonomy, biocompatibility, security and sterilization ability. Afterwards, an overview of existing systems is proposed in a decisional tree. Positive displacement motorized pumps are classified into three main groups: the continuous movement group, the fractioned translation group and the alternative movement group. These systems are described and the different problems which are specific to these mechanisms are presented. Since none of them fully satisfy the specifications, an innovation is justified.. The decisional tree is therefore extended by adding new principles: fractioned refilling and fractioned injection within the fractioned translation movement group, spider guiding system within the alternative translation movement group, rotational bearing guided device and notch hinge guided device in the alternative rotation movement group.

Two-way fluid-structure interaction simulation for steady-state vibration of a slender rod using URANS and LES turbulence models

  • Anisotropic distribution of the turbulent kinetic energy and the near-field excitations are the main causes of the steady state Flow-Induced Vibration (FIV) which could lead to fretting wear damage in vertically arranged supported slender rods. In this article, a combined Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computational Structural Mechanic (CSM) approach named two-way Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) is used to investigate the modal characteristics of a typical rod's vibration. Performance of an Unsteady Reynolds-Average Navier-Stokes (URANS) and Large Eddy Simulation (LES) turbulence models on asymmetric fluctuations of the flow field are investigated. Using the LES turbulence model, any large deformation damps into a weak oscillation which remains in the system. However, it is challenging to use LES in two-way FSI problems from fluid domain discretization point of view which is investigated in this article as the innovation. It is concluded that the near-wall meshes whiten the viscous sub-layer is of great importance to estimate the Root Mean Square (RMS) of FIV amplitude correctly as a significant fretting wear parameter otherwise it merely computes the frequency of FIV.

개수로 내 식생구간의 흐름저항 및 흐름특성에 관한 실험적 고찰 (Experimental Study of Flow Resistance and Flow Characteristics over Flexible Vegetated Open Channel)

  • Hydraulic engineers and scientists working on river restoration recognize the need for a deeper understanding of natural streams as a complex and dynamic system, which involves not only abiotic elements(flow, sediments) but also biotic components. From this point of view, the role played by riverine vegetation dynamics and flow conditions becomes essential. Hydro-mechanic interaction between flow and flexible plants covering a river bed is studied in this paper and some previous works are discussed. Measurements of turbulence and flow resistance in vegetated open channel were performed using rigid and flexible tube. Measuring detailed turbulent velocity profiles within and above submerged and flexible stems allowed to distinguish different turbulent regimes. Some interesting relationships were obtained between the velocity field and the deflected height of the plants, such as a reduced drag coefficient in the flexible stems. Turbulent intensities and Reynolds stresses were measured showing two different regions : above and inside the vegetation domain. In flexible vegetated open channel, the maximum values of turbulent intensities and Reynolds stresses appear above the top of canopy. Method to predict a flow resistance in flexible vegetated open channel is developed by modifying an analytical model proposed by Klopstra et al. (1997). Calculated velocity profiles and roughness values correspond well with flume experiments. These confirm the applicability of the presented model for open channel with flexible vegetation. The new method will be verified in the real vegetated conditions in the near future. After these verifications, the new method should be applied for nature rehabilitation projects such as river restorations.
