Analyzing Dissatisfaction Factors of Weather Service Users Using Twitter and News Headlines

  • Social media is a massive dataset in which individuals' thoughts are freely recorded. So there have been a variety of efforts to analyze it and to understand the social phenomenon. In this study, Twitter was used to define the moments when negative perceptions of the Korean Meteorological Administration (KMA) were displayed and the reasons people were dissatisfied with the KMA. Machine learning methods were used for sentiment analysis to automatically train the implied awareness on Twitter which mentioned the KMA July-October 2011-2014. The trained models were used to validate sentiments on Twitter 2015-2016, and the frequency of negative sentiments was compared with the satisfaction of forecast users. It was found that the frequency of the negative sentiments increased before satisfaction decreased sharply. And the tweet keywords and the news headlines were qualitatively compared to analyze the cause of negative sentiments. As a result, it was revealed that the individual caused the increase in the monthly negative sentiments increase in 2016. This study represents the value of sentiment analysis that can complement user satisfaction surveys. Also, combining Twitter and news headlines provided the idea of analyzing the causes of dissatisfaction that are difficult to identify with only satisfaction surveys. The results contribute to improving user satisfaction with weather services by efficiently managing changes in satisfaction.

전자기록의 출처확인 지원전략 (A Verification Strategy for the Origin of Electronic Records)

  • 전자기록을 잘 관리한다는 것은 결국 기록이 필요할 때 믿고 사용할 수 있도록 하려는 것이다. 전자기록은 진본성과 무결성면에서 취약점이 있고 현행 표준이나 방법들은 이에 대한 보완관리를 목적으로 해서 개발되었다. 그러나 전자기록은 진본성과 무결성을 독립적으로 고려하기 힘들므로 본 논문에서는 출처라는 개념을 도입하여, 출처확인이 우선 잘 이루어지는 지원 전략을 논의하였다. 이러한 측면에서 볼 때 현행 방식들은 검증 정보 수록 및 확인에 태만하며 장기검증에 문제가 있고 출처확인이 안되는 기록에 대한 대응책 마련이 미흡하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 점을 개선하기 위하여한 출처확인에 필요한 요소들을 설명하고, 장기 검증이 가능하도록 전자기록보존포맷을 고정부와 변동부로 나누고 출처는 고정부에서만 확인하는 새로운 검증방법을 제안하며, 출처확인이 실패해서는 안되는 중요 기록물에 대하여 예방, 회피, 탐지복원 방안을 제시한다.

게임이론과 한반도를 둘러싼 수산자원의 협력적 관리체계에 관한 연구 (Game Theory and a Study on Fishery Co-operation System in the Seas Surrounding Korea)

  • The main purpose of this study is to explain fishery relation in the seas surrounding Korea and how the Prisoner's Dilemma (PD), within game theory is applied to the region and suggest possible co-operative approaches in the region. The seas surrounding Korea are very productive fishing grounds with abundant fisheries resources because of the favourable marine environment, including its geographical features and physical oceanography. Nevertheless, Fishery relations among the coastal states in the region have been historically characterized by conflict rather than co-operation. Based on the PD game where there is always an incentive to do better by not co-operating, in order to ensure a share of the short-run benefits, fishing countries in the region have so far pursued the non-co-operative strategy of 'don't fish responsibly' rather than the co-operative strategy of 'fish responsibly'. Considering rapidly deteriorating situations in terms of fishery resources, regional co-operation among coastal states is urgently required to eliminate overfishing and increase fish stocks to sustainable levels. The West Sea/East China Sea and the East Sea, semi-enclosed seas, have unitary ecosystems, and many migratory fish species are shared between coastal states. Therefore, one countries' efforts alone cannot effectively manage and conserve the fishery resources and close co-operation among coastal states is required. The 1982 UN Convention and other international instruments emphasize the role of RFOs in managing and conserving capture fisheries and encourage states to establish Regional Fishery organizations (RFOs) or strengthen existing RFOs to facilitate conservation and management for fish stocks. Therefore, an international regime is worthy of serious consideration in that it provides fundamental advantages for the conservation of fish stocks for the fishery characteristic of the region.

A Study on a Solution For Growth of Beauty Salon Franchise - around an influence of a conflict upon a solidarity -

  • A purpose of this study is to measure degree of solidarity and conflict of the beauty salon franchisees according to an influence strategy of franchiser and grasp characteristics revealed from managing a franchise system. This will also contribute to improving results of franchise systems and considering a direction for development. This study examined existing studies relevant with conflict and solidarity and analysed relativity between relevant variables and grasped the flow of studies and then set hypotheses in order to present a device for decreasing conflict within a franchise system of beauty shops and for increasing a solidarity and subsequently analysed samples and tested data. The data for this study are researched by sending questionnaires to beauty salons which participated in one of franchise systems and they are analyzed by various methods in a statistics. After studying some relevant theories, this study used the definition of the franchise system in beauty salons as an entity of a political-economy paradigm. A franchiser desires to influence member shops with an influence-strategy. Therefore member shops which perceived it go through a conflict and then such a process is revealed as making significant influence on solidarity. Beauty salon franchise exists by reciprocal confidence and transaction. If an opportunism gain in influence owing to an conflict intensification, there would be no steady formation of relationship. Therefore the head office should develop a member-shop-management-system by more scientific and more technical methods and prevent, in advance, member stores from seeking for negative opportunism.

Website Color for Brand Image Consolidation

  • With 'the improvement of brand image through the consolidation of the online and offline brand images' as the goal, the focus of this study lies in brand color. In order to analyze the differences between the website and offline image of a brand, as felt by the consumers, a survey on color image was conducted. Using the results of the survey as the foundation, a comparative analysis of online and offline color images was conducted, and the discrepancies between the two specified. Furthermore, solutions in creating websites that cultivate brand consolidation through color consolidation are presented. Using the thesis 'Research on the Color Strategy of Brand-name Coffees,' as a guide, and supplementing it with necessary improvements, this study presents three areas to consider when designing or managing websites for offline brands. First of all, color image is not static but variable, meaning that it appeals to the consumers differently, depending on change in other brands, trends, consumer point of view, etc. Thus, color image must be flexible. Secondly, overall brand image can be improved by its offline color. However, it should be realized that identical colors could produce different results online and off. Lastly, in general, the online image falls behind the offline image, in regard to color strategy. Therefore, more meticulous and carefully planned color design is necessary, as is the consideration of the unique and distinctive qualities of the World Wide Web.

  • As a new environment, the Internet proposes to us the innovation of our life. New information technologies(IT) have enabled and stimulated new organizational forms. Electronic Commerce is the new economy that changes the pattern of our life and the form of business transaction. Electronic Commerce is rapidly growing due to the increasing of internet user and the development of information technology. With the emergence of the Internet, a totally new business, the electronic commerce(EC) is emerging. Internet EC brings in many benifits to the organization such as reduced costs, fast turnaround, better customer service, and in some firms strategic advantage over their competitors. As a newly created interior design paradigm, this proposal presents its utmost advantage, interlocking interior design firm management with virtual reality of internet. Appropriately interacting on-line with off-line in virtual reality of internet improves the image of interior design firm and makes the best use of its identity in marketing. This application can rightly attract consumers' interest. Analyzing the market, the most important thing in marketing is to anticipate consumers' existing and possible demand in future. In other word, servicing consumers with idea efficiently is competence.   • The purpose of this study is finding the right direction to make the best career development systems for the employees in hotel industry in Korea. The condition of the best career development system is satisfaction from companies and employees each other. However, making that condition is not easy for every industry as well as for hotel industry over the world. In this respect, we can find the three directions of career development for applying the systems to the employees like strategy direction oriented, development direction oriented and employee satisfaction oriented. Among those directions, we have to find the best direction for individual satisfaction and organizational company satisfaction. This study will help to make and execute the plan for career development in real hotel industry fields, especially for the policy of human resources management. In this study, we can see the importance of employees' satisfaction for managing a hotel. The increasing productivity of the hotel eventually will be made from career development through employee satisfaction.

아이돌봄서비스 이용의 어려움과 대처방식 및 이용가정 유형화 연구 (A Study on the Difficulties and the Coping Strategies of the In-home Child Care Support Service)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the in-home child care support service experience of twenty child rearing families. In order to conduct this study, grounded theory method was employed. The central phenomenon of the service experience digged out from this study was 'difficulty' (i. e. insecurity and a feeling of helplessness). The causal conditions which brought about the central phenomenon were 'defect of system' and 'service characteristics' The intervening conditions included 'alternative resources' 'working conditions' and 'service institute manager discretion'. The contextual conditions consisted of 'maternal ideology' 'the public nanny's personality awareness'. The action/interaction strategies on the central phenomenon were 'inaction' 'insecurity decrease strategy' and 'dissonance decrease strategy. The final outcome was 'rearing gap fillup "the method of nanny managing" dissatisfaction accumulation' ''system improvement demand'. The families were classified as four types: 'management/subject' 'adaptation/dependent' 'patience/acceptant' 'supplementation/overcoming'. Based on these results, this study provided a few political and practice suggestions to improve this system.

공동구매형 소셜 커머스의 재구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Influencing Repurchase Intention in Social Commerce)

  • As social media such as facebook and twitter is widespread, social commerce appears as a new way of e-commerce. Social commerce is a subset of electronic commerce that involves using social media that supports social interaction and user contributions. From the understanding of social commerce and literature review, we deduced the research model that relationship, collectivism, convenience, usefulness, low price, reputation, and rapidness have influence on satisfaction and repurchase intention. As a result of data analysis, relationship, convenience, usefulness, low price, and rapidness had influence on satisfaction and repurchase intention. And collectivism had influence on relationship. But reputation did not have influence on satisfaction. The focus of this study is on the effect of relationship and collectivism on satisfaction and repurchase, because relationship and collectivism is the major feature of social commerce. Succinctly speaking, collectivism affects relationship among users, in turn, relationship affects satisfaction and repurchase intention. This study gives a contribution to business. Business related with social commerce has to make a business strategy for managing relationship and consider collectivism tendency for selecting target customer.

IS 분야 연계전공의 교육만족도 : 사례연구요 (Students' Satisfaction of IS Interdisciplinary Majors : A Case Study)

  • As technology rapidly develops, the demand for manpower by new industries is increasing. In order to respond to the changing demands of the workforce, universities are actively introducing interdisciplinary majors, which is a program formed by two or more departments cooperating to develop new majors. Although the importance of the interdisciplinary major is increasing, universities have difficulties managing them due to non-flexible educational systems. The purpose of this study is to present an effective management direction for interdisciplinary majors based on the results of a survey on student satisfaction with interdisciplinary majors. Also, we analyzed the required level and possessed level of the IS practitioners' competencies, and developed specific educational directions for training IS talents. The results showed that there was a significant difference in satisfaction with the curriculum development and curriculum evaluation of existing subjects provided by existing departments and new subjects established of interdisciplinary majors, specifically the satisfaction of new subjects is higher than existing subjects. In the IS field, there was a high demand for education in the following areas, in order: information security, information technology strategy planning, information technology operation, information technology development, information technology management, information technology sales, and core competencies. Based on the results of the analysis, the satisfaction of students and the cultivation of the talents that the interdisciplinary major aims to develop can be improved.
