화장의 사회.심리적 기대효과에 따른 화장이미지와 자의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Makeup Image and Self-Consciousness According to the Level of Expected Socio-Psychological Effect of Makeup)

  • This study was made to investigate the differences in Korean woman's perceived makeup image and self-consciousness according to their expectation level in socio-psychological effect of makeup, and to gather information needed for the better understanding of cosmetics consumers and more effective marketing activities of cosmetics industries. Normative-descriptive survey method using questionnaire was employed for the present study. The survey was conducted in August 2001 and the sample consisted of 942 women between the ages of 18 and 50 residing in Seoul and Kyungi province. Data were analyzed by SPSS package. Factor analysis, ANOVA, and MANOVA were employed for the analysis of the data. The results are as follows : (1) Six factors emerged from the data related to the category of expected socio-psychological effect of makeup. Those factors were named as "increasing positiveness", "refreshment", "covering weakness", "self-expression", "consideration for others", and "the tool for self-change". Four factors were found in the category of makeup image, and the factors were named as "refinement", "nobility", "favorable impression ", and "personality ". (2) There was a tendency that those who highly expect the socio-psychological effect of makeup have more positive self-image. Considering this differences in self-image according to the level of expected socio-psychological effect of makeup. service activities for the consumers' positive opinion and attitude to the effect of makeup are needed, and it seems that those service activities will have a good influence on the consumers' emotional health. (3) Subjects with higher level of social anxiety showed higher expectations in refreshment, covering weakness and self-expression. Considering this trend, marketers have to make an constant effort for the variety of cosmetics and makeup manner by which consumers satisfy their expectation in makeup. It seems that the satisfaction of their expectation on the help of makeup effect will contribute to lessen social anxiety, and to get emotional stability. (4) Subjects with higher personal self-anxiety showed higher expectations of the effect. "increase of positiveness".   • The purpose of this study is to investigate customer satisfaction factors that affect customer loyalty and revisit intention, and the seven factors which comprise the marketing mix that affects customer satisfaction. loyalty, and intention to revisit. The purpose of the project is to propose a research model by testing the mediated effects of customer satisfaction and loyalty using mainly factor analysis, regression analysis, and mediation analysis. First the results showed that the marketing mix 7P factors influence customer satisfaction were identified as service delivery process, product, physical basis, and promotion. The factors that influence marketing mix 7P customer loyalty were tested in the order of service delivery, physical basis, product, and distribution. Second, the factors that affect customer loyalty were artists, service, and prices whereas the factors that affect customer satisfaction were tested in the order of service, artist, cosmetics, and price. Third, the factors affecting customer revisit intention were newly derived as treatment satisfaction, professionalism, and treatment products. Fourth, the relationship between marketing mix and customer revisit intention suggested that customer satisfaction and customer loyalty has a partial sale effect. It can be suggested on the basis of these findings that the effect of makeup service with marketing mix on customer revisit intention was analyzed and a new model was derived by analyzing the mediated effect of customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.

직장인의 의복·메이크업 컬러 선택 동기가 외모 만족도와 자아존중감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Office Workers' Motivation to Choose Clothing and Makeup Colors on Appearance Satisfaction and Self-esteem)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 직장인의 의복과 메이크업 컬러 선택 동기가 외모 만족도와 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 본 연구의 조사대상자는 충청도 지역 소재지에 근무하는 직장여성을 대상으로 하여 2023년 7월 15부터 2023년 7월 29일까지 2주간 이루어졌으며, 표집 된 696부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, (one-way)ANOVA, 사후검증(Scheffe's)을 처리하였으며, 직장인의 의복과 메이크업컬러 선택 동기의 상관성을 알아 보기위해 상관관계분석 및 단순회귀분석(simple regression), 다중회귀분석(multiple regression)을 실시하였으며, 통계적 유의수준은 p<.05로 설정하였다. 이와 같은 연구 절차를 거처 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 직장인의 의복 컬러 선택 동기가 외모 만족도에 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직장인의 메이크업 컬러 선택 동기가 외모만족에는 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 신체매력은 상황요인에서 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 직장인의 의복 컬러 선택 동가가 자아존중감에 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 직장인의 메이크업 컬러 선택 동기가 자아존중감에 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

TV 오락프로그램에 나타난 메이크업의 해학미 (The Humorous Beauty of Makeup Shown in TV Entertainment Programs)

  • The following are summary and result of this study. The purpose of this study was to research into TV makeup types focusing on Korean aesthetics with recognizing importance of Korean thought amid what the global interest pays attention to South Korea thanks to the recent influence of Hanryu(Korean wave). The humorous beauty reflects Korean people's optimistic attitude dubbed the realization of joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure through opposition and convergence in ambivalent emotion with the superb attitude available for escaping from a stoic life. This is being indicated in the shocking form of embracing the avant-garde experiment through transforming and distorting by positively accepting humor and ugliness, which are the form of distortion and exaggeration, which strive for departing from sorrow through TV entertainment programs. This trend is being shown similarly to the tendency of giving mental satisfaction to human being with amusement while accepting ugliness as new beauty with the de-centralized recognition in the late 20th century. Accordingly, as the makeup of focusing on presenting character begins to be noted even in makeup, the similarity was being shown to the recent trend. This study is expected to contribute to continuous development in our country's makeup and TV broadcasting art field by being expanded the atmosphere of more systematic and in-depth research.

Effects of women's grooming behaviors and appearance satisfaction on interpersonal relationships

  • 외모는 타고나는 것이 아니라 만들고 관리할 수 있는 것이라는 사회문화적 인식이 확산되면서 외모 관리에 대한 요구와 기대가 높아지고 있다. 외모에 대한 인식은 자신뿐만 아니라 대인관계에도 영향을 미치기 때문에 외모에 대한 만족도가 높아지면 심리적 안정감이 생겨 보다 적극적인 사회 참여로 이어지는 긍정적인 측면이 있다. 본 연구는 여성의 외모관리 행동으로 채택된 화장 및 의복과 외모만족도가 대인관계에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 외모만족도를 통해 외모관리 행동이 대인관계 만족도에 미치는 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구방법은 설문조사로 진행되었으며, 최종 분석에는 85부의 설문지가 사용되었다. 데이터 분석에는 SPSS 28.0과 SmartPLS 4가 사용되었다. 분석 결과, 외모 관리 행동 중 화장은 외모 만족도에, 외모 만족도는 대인관계에 정의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 외모 만족도는 외모 관리 행동 중 메이크업과 대인관계의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 20대 중심의 표본을 대상으로 진행되었기 때문에 사회 구성원 전체로 일반화하기에는 한계가 있지만, 외모관리 행동이 대인관계에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

3D 특수 분장 마스크 시뮬레이션 프로그램 개발과 활용 (제2보) (3D Special Makeup Mask Program Development and Utilization (Ver. 2))

  • The purpose of this study was to design a training program for utilization of 3D special makeup mask program. This study was conducted with a 3D computer graphics software program, for special makeup mask using a variety of creative educational models and case study with comparative analysis. The makeup program applied to the majors and liberal arts classes for program design. Inthis study, the selected major courses included ' stage make up ', make up application', and illustrations and color '. Students were required to take a class targeted to questionnaire completion and analysis. The research method included literature search, and Internet navigation, of experimental research. The research targeted select college students attending a 4-year university located in Dae-jeon, Korea. ETRI's "3D mask special makeup simulation program" was used in support. A survey of the study conducted from September 1, 2013, to August 30, 2014, showed a total of 94 additional statistical analyses. First, grade 3 44.6% was attained by 91.7% of the first year student majoring in liberal arts classes, Second, students' in the 3D special dress up mask program Interestingly, attained high recognition in its mastering, usability, and creativity. Furthermore, the major student satisfaction was higher for the '3D special makeup mask program. Third, students '3D special dress up was one of the biggest advantages of the program', the mask ' that models 3D ' faces. In addition, the student's delicate dress called for critical technology skills. It is thought to be suitable for practical training and improving the efficiency and performance if applied to universities and beauty schools, such as the regular high school curriculum through research.

Z세대 소비자의 화장 의례에 대한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on Makeup Rituals of Generation Z Consumers)

  • The Generation Z (Gen-Z) consumer has a unique beauty-consuming behavior that is distinct from the previous generations. This study aims to identify the meaning of makeup rituals based on the theoretical framework of the ritual concept. In-depth interviews were conducted with fifteen females in their mid-teens to early 20s. The results showed that Gen-Z has different types of makeup ritual scripts for both ordinary days and special days, which are constantly being re-written and revised based on the experience accumulated. In addition, there are various types of ritual artifacts that play an important role in Gen-Z's makeup ritual, and that they provide psychological comfort and satisfaction. The importance of DIY (Do It Yourself), collecting, and independent brands is emphasized. The role of Gen-Z in the makeup ritual was expanding from a creator for her own ritual to a collaborator for peers' rituals, and sometimes the expansion goes beyond the direct relationships to virtual ones through SNS (Social Network Service). The Gen-Z cohort is found to be a member of beauty knowledge network through which they learn, share, and create the know-how and shopping skills.

여중고생의 혁신과 또래압력이 색조화장행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Innovation and Peer Pressure on Color Make-up Behaviors of Middle and High School Students)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 특성상 획일적인 유행현상으로 인한 동조소비나 독특한 집단문화의 확산 등을 볼 때 여중고생의 색조화장행동에 있어서도 그들만의 특성을 지닌 영향요소가 있을 것이라고 보고, 이들의 개인적 특성 및 사회적 준거집단에 대한 영향력을 통해 화장행동의 고도화 및 일탈행동으로 이어지는 영향을 검증하였다. 이를 위해 여자 중 고등학교 학생을 대상으로 색조화장을 하는 정도와 동료 간의 영향력을 중심으로 설문조사를 실시 하였으며, 수집된 총 297부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 실증분석 결과, 첫째, 여중고생의 색조화장행동에 있어 사회적 자기효능감은 혁신과 또래압력 수용정도에 모두 정(+)의 영향관계를 나타냈다. 특히 사회적 자기효능감은 또래압력에 부(-) 영향관계를 예측하였으나, 정(+)의 관계를 나타내 또래집단의 특성상 자신에 대한 확신이 높다하더라도 집단에 동조하는 등의 여중고생의 심리적 특성을 나타냈다. 둘째, 여중고생의 화장에 대한 가시성은 혁신과 또래압력정도에 부(-)의 영향을 나타내 여중고생의 화장에 대한 가시성이 높은 타인의 눈에 쉽게 인식되는 정도이더라도 새로움을 추구하지 않는다는 것을 나타냈다. 또한 가시성은 또래압력을 받기보다는 오히려 또래집단에 영향력을 행사할 수 있음을 나타냈다. 셋째, 여중고생의 화장에 대한 혁신과 또래압력이 화장행동에 모두 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 화장행동에 대한 상대적 영향력은 혁신보다는 동료 압력에 의한 영향력이 더 높게 나타나 여중고생의 화장행동은 또래 압력의 영향력이 크다는 것을 시사하고 있다. 넷째, 여중고생의 화장행동의 고도화는 화장만족과 일탈행동에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 여중고생의 색조화장행동에 대한 새로운 시각이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

대학생의 뷰티 유튜브 시청만족도와 K-뷰티의 관계성 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between University Students' Beauty YouTube Viewing Satisfaction and K-Beauty)

  • 본 논문은 대학생들의 뷰티 유튜브 시청만족도와 K-뷰티와의 연관성을 알아보기 위한 논문으로 대학생들의 뷰티 유튜브 시청만족도는 이용후기, 화장법, 화장트렌트, 대리공감, 오락적 동기에서 보통이상의 만족도를 나타냈다. 뷰티 유튜브 시청만족도와 K-뷰티와의 관계성을 연구하기 위해 K-뷰티 설문항목의 요인분석 결과 발전영향 요인과 타 산업 발전분야로 구분하였다. 대학생의 뷰티 유튜브 시청만족도는 K-뷰티 발전영향 요인에 정(+)의 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났고, K-뷰티 타 산업 발전분야와는 관계성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 토대로 뷰티유튜브의 컨텐츠 개발과 함께 미디어컨텐츠를 활용한 K-뷰티 발전방안 등에 대한 참고자료 활용을 기대하고 관련하여 좀 더 확장된 연구를 지속할 예정이다.

A Study on the Direction of Evaluation Indicators for Personalized Beauty Self-care

  • Recently, the beauty industry has implemented personalized services based on skin big data. To increase competitiveness in the beauty industry, systematic data measurement and evaluation indicators are necessary to select data and obtain necessary knowledge. In response, this study sought to stably enhance the accuracy of skin diagnosis based on satisfaction and reliability. To this end, the research was conducted through focus group interviews (FGI), a case study of brands, and analysis of prior research results. In particular, as a result of analyzing keywords that classify skin types by brand, common survey items for skin types were oiliness and using moisturizer, cosmetic use and vascular of skin, external stimulus and blemish & freckles, facial wrinkle, outside activities, self-consciousness, and smoke. In additioin to the common questions of the preceding study and the brand survey items, the questions concerning complex skin types, seasonal change, facial color, wrinkles and elasticity were added, and the questions were presented in a total of 40 items. In particular, it suggested that skin measurement could be conducted by focusing on elasticity and pigmentation items by reflecting the results of prior research and the opinions of FGI, and based on this, a customized service with high satisfaction and high accuracy of beauty care based on this could be proposed. We hope that this study will facilitate active self-care by providing more satisfying skin stones and personalized cosmetics proposals, thus laying the foundation for the further development of the cosmetics industry.
