To provide the basic informations related to forest road construction of mountainous terrain, we analyzed changes of the road structure factors such as banking and cutting slope gradients, slope length, road width by the environmental factors such as locations, slope gradients, soil types, road position on physically stabilized forest roads constructed in Gangwon-do. All factors related to the road structures by locations were significant except for banking slope length. Road width, longitudinal gradients, banking and cutting slope length by slope gradients were not significantly different and banking slope gradients in the range less than $30^{\circ}$, from $30^{\circ}$ to $35^{\circ}$ and more than $40^{\circ}$ and cutting slope gradients were significantly different for all areas. Road width, longitudinal gradients, banking slope length by soil types were not significantly different and others were significantly different. All factors related to the road structures by road position were significant except for cutting slope gradients.
Background: Smoking reduces pulmonary function and induces various lung diseases. Recently, the rate of emphysema detection has increased due to lung cancer screening with low-dose chest computed tomography (CT). The purpose of this study was to evaluate changes in lung function associated with emphysema in healthy smokers. Methods: One hundred and ninety one healthy smokers, who had undergone a low-dose chest CT (LDCT) scan as part of lung cancer screening and had revisited the health center after a median 23.9 months' time, were recruited into this study. The severity of emphysema was calculated by the direct observation of a radiologist and a pulmonologist indipendently. Longitudinal changes in lung function according to emphysema based on LDCT and type of smoker was analyzed. Results: Of the participants in this study, 25% of healthy smokers had emphysema, which was mild in severity, in older patients (p=0.003) and in heavy smokers (p<0.001). $FEV_1/FVC$ and FEF25-75% were decreased in current smokers with emphysema (p=0.001 and p=0.009, respectively) and without emphysema (p=0.001 and p=0.042). Although lung function was not decreased in ex-smokers without emphysema, $FEV_1/FVC$ and FEF25-75% were decreased in ex-smoker with emphysema (p=0.020 and p=0.010). Conclusion: Upon examination with LDCT, the prevalence of emphysema was higher in healthy smokers was than in non-smokers. Lung function was diminished in smokers with emphysema, in spite of former smoker.
The influence of electrolyte concentrations on the action of morphine and naloxone was studied in the myenteric plexus-longitudinal muscle preparation of guinea-pig ileum to examine whether opiate receptor binding obseved in vitro with homogenates represents binding to the pharmacological receptor. The preparations were suspended in a modified Krebs-Henseleit bicarbonate buffer solution and electrically stimulated at 0.2 Hz. Morphine inhibited electrically evoked contractions; the concentration of morphine required for a 50-percent inhibition was 190 nM. This inhibitory action of morphine was potentiated in a medium containing lower concentrations of : $Na^+\;or\;K^+$, or by the addition of $Mn^{2+}$ to the medium, and weakened by increasing the concentration of $Ca^{2+}$ or decreasing the concentration of $Mg^{2+}$. Naloxone antagonized these actions of morphine: however, $pA_2values$ for naloxone (indices of affinity for antagonists, approximately 8.8) were unaffected by these electrolyte concentrations. Thus, changes in the inhibitory action of morphine caused by alterations in electrolyte concentrations are probably not the result of changes in the affinity of the receptor for opiates, but due to alterations in the events which precede or follow the receptor binding. Effects of electrolytes on the affinity of the functional opiate receptor for naloxone in guinea-pig ileum are apparently different from those reported with the specific binding sites for opiates in brain homogenate.

This study was carried out to figure out on the changes of longitudinal salt movement in the soil through the soil according to the materials and thickness of salt prevent materials and the place of salt prevent at reclaimed land from the sea which is one of the most serious problems when tree planting. Changes of soil salinity were different depending on the seasons. In particular, the soil salinity was lower during the rainy season. But during the dry seasons including early summer before the rainy season and winter season, salinity was relatively higher. Among the seven interruption materials, crushed stone, dredged sand and wood chips showed better interruption effects than the other materials. The interruption effect of salt movement was highest in the both of side and bottom interruption treatment of salt movement than the side interruption treatment of salt movement or the bottom interruption treatment of salt movement. The thickness of the layer should be at least 20cm to prevent salinity effectively.
In this study longitudinal of the taurine content in the human milk of 23 Korean lacto-ovo-vegetarian women was studied during the lactating periods of the 15th, 30th, 60th, 90th, 120th and 150th day after delivery. The results of the study on primiparae and multiparae studied separately are as follows: 1) The taurine content of the primiparae per 1ml of human milk was 356.1nmole on the 15th day, 238.6 nmole on the 30th day, 249.6 nmole on the 60th day, 148.7 nmole on the 20th day, and 139.6 nmole on the 150th day. There was a significant decrease in the measns. 2) The taurine content of the multiparae per 1ml f human milk was 401.6 nmole on the 90th day, 189.9 nmole on the 120th day, and 159.8 nmole on the 150th day. There was a significant decrease in the measns. 2) The taurine content of the multiparae per 1ml of human milk was 401.6 nmole on the 15th day, 342.3 nmole on the 30th day, 273.2 nmole on the 60th day, 248.6 nmole on the 90th day, 189.9 nmole on the 120th day, and 159.8 nmole on the 150th day. There was a significant decrease in the measns. The multipareas had higher taurine content in every lactating period than the primiparae but there was not a significant difference. The correlation between the changes durinig lactating periods and the taurine content was negative. The correlation coefficient of the primiparae was -0.641 and that of the multiparae was -0.753. The overall correlation coefficient of the primiparae and the multiparae is -0.644, decreasing significantly up to the 150th day.

The purpose of this study was to prepare basic data to set the support direction for low-income households in a socioeconomic crisis situation. The study examined the effect of socioeconomic deprivation experience on the longitudinal changes in family conflict and family relationship satisfaction of low-income households. Using five-year data from the 10th to 14th sessions of the Korean Welfare Panel, we examined the longitudinal changes in family conflict and family relationship satisfaction, and the effect of socioeconomic deprivation experience from the reponses of 803 low-income households. We found that the family conflict of low-income households decreased to a weak level with the change of time, and the rate of change in family relationship satisfaction was not meaningful. In the case of families who experienced early socioeconomic deprivation, their initial value of family conflict was higher than that of inexperienced households, and the rate of change was not significant. The results of this study show that when low-income households experience socioeconomic deprivation, they feel psychological pressure and an increase in family anxiety, resulting in high family conflict and low family relationship satisfaction. On the basis of the study results, we recommend extending economic and social assistance to low-income households in the current socioeconomic crisis. The state is also encouraged to help families manage conflicts on their own and resolve problems.
This study examined the changes of depression and life satisfaction among the elderly living together in group-home and congregate housing. And in this course, it was to verify the practical effects of the recent government and local authority community life of elderly people by comparing them with the groups of elders living alone. The study was divided into Time 1 and Time 2, and 205 person's data were used for the final analysis. PASW Statistics 18.0 was utilized to analysis the data of this study, because it is difficult to explain the results of this analysis, secondary qualitative research has been used to identify additional contextual information. The major results of this study are as follows. First, the depression of the subjects was significantly improved in the case of living in group-home and congregate housing, and it was significantly worse in the group of elders living alone. Second, the life satisfaction of survey subjects was significantly improved when living in congregate housing, group-home was significantly worse, and the group of elders living alone were not statistically significant but slightly worse. Third, mixed research methods were applied to make accurate interpretation of changes of life satisfaction of the elderly living in group-home. Based on the results of this study, it is possible to establish appropriate measures for the elderly to improve early adjustment and quality of life in community life. And the community life of the elderly can contribute to a real social safety net by solving the blind spot of welfare. At the national level, it can be utilized as a standard reference to improve and strengthen existing policies by providing data that can simultaneously examine the performances and problems of various policies related to housing or the welfare of the elderly.
This study aims to identify the change of customer participation(CP) which is essential to the service industry as the relationship between the customer and the employee develops. The latent growth modeling analysis based on the longitudinal data is utilized to examine the pattern of the change. This is based on the fact that CP needs to be understood in the relationship and is to confirm the change in CP by the development of the relationship. Given the dynamics of the relationship, we intend to overcome the limitations of previous cross-sectional researches by revealing the trajectory of CP in the relationship through the longitudinal data. We also want to examine which variables in the relationship can facilitate changes of CP. Research has shown that CP is significantly changed with the development of the relationship when we analyzed it through latent growth modeling. This confirms that CP needs to be understood in the relationship. In addition, 'relationship proneness' variable and 'dependence to provider' variable have positive effects on the initial values of CP, but they have not been established to promote the changes of CP. Consequently, when considering the dynamics of relationships, it is important to recognize that CP is also dynamic. This study sought to get out of the cross-sectional and fragmented understanding of CP that is dynamic. Through this, we would like to propose the successful operation of the customer management program of service firms in relation to CP. This will lead to the success of service encounter where appropriate CP levels at each stage of relationship development can be achieved.

The purpose of this study was to explore types of longitudinal changes in interactions between mothers and 4-year-old children in primary school as well as the effects on media device addiction. To explore interaction types between mothers and children, latent class growth modeling (LCGM) and BCH were used in a three-step approach. Data from the 6-10th wave of the Panel Study of Korea Children were used. First, the trajectory of the mother-child interactions was linear and decreased across time. This linear decrease was classified into the following three trajectories: high-decreasing, average-deceasing, and low-decreasing. Second, BCH was performed to examine media device addiction in each trajectory, and the findings show that children who had low initial mother-child interactions over time were more likely to experience daily disturbances in adaptive functions such as withdraw or tolerance than other groups of children. The results indicate that maximizing the quality of mother-child interactions in childhood through primary school can lower media device addiction in children.
Biennial serial cephalometric radiographs of 47 children (26 boys, 21 girls) were used to analyze the craniofacial growth changes in Korean children from 8 years to 16 years of age. A craniofacial model was designed for this study. It consisted of 72 anatomical points and 98 derived points. The craniofacial changes of these samples during these ages might be summarized as follows: 1. Mandibular growth to cranial base was more forward than maxillary growth. 2. Mandibular growth during this period was found to be a forward-upward (bite closing) rotation of the mandible. 3. Growth changes in total mandibular length (Ar-Gn) showed a pubertal growth spurt at 12-14 years of age in boys and 10-12 years of age in girls. Synchrony of the growth spurts on total mandibular length (Ar-Gn) and standing body height was found. 4. The pubertal spurts occured in the growth of total cranial base (Ba-Na) at 10-12 years of age in boys and 8-10 years of age in girls. The time of the spurts of the cranial base growth was 2 years ahead of that of the total mandibular growth. 5. Synchrony of growth spurts in anterior facial height (Na-Me), posterior facial height (S-Go) and body height was found. 6. The whole craniofacial changes during this period were plotted by using a X-Y plotter and personal computer. A simple profilogram for an diagnostic tool was obtained.
