The Effects of Finance and Knowledge on Entrepreneurship Development: An Empirical Study from Bangladesh

  • Over the past decades, Bangladesh has fought poverty via labor-intensive industry and inclusive financing. The techniques assist underprivileged women in achieving self-sufficiency and encourage them to pursue independent endeavors. However, the majority of female entrepreneurs focused on four key company types: parlor, boutique, clothes, and fashion, all of which have limited access to financing. It was feared that their shortage of finance was hindering the growth of their company. The study's goal is to assess the effects of financial availability and knowledge on women's entrepreneurship development in Bangladesh via the lens of transformational leadership practices. A sample of 580 SMEs was considered for data collection with a structured questionnaire: a five-point Likert scale for getting responses from SMEs. The model coefficients with structural equation modeling revealed that financial accessibility plays a positive and statistically significant role in women's entrepreneurship development. Moreover, knowledge level established positive interlinkage with women's entrepreneurship development. Transformational leadership, which plays a mediating role in leadership practices, has been linked to the development of women's entrepreneurship indirectly and positively. As a result, support for knowledge creation and external financing must evolve and be made available to ensure women's sustainable development through entrepreneurial activities.

운동선수의 지도행동유형이 선수만족 및 운동몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Leadership Style on Player Satisfaction and Exercise Flow of Athletic Players)

  • 본 연구는 운동선수의 지도행동유형이 선수만족 및 운동몰입과의 관계를 규명하여 선수의 능력을 향상시켜서 경기력을 높이는데 목적이 있다. 표집방법으로 비확률표본추출법을 이용하였고, 설문지의 총 381부를 자료 분석에 사용하였다. 설문지는 SPSS/PC+ Window용 21.0 version 통계프로그램을 이용하여, 연구 대상자의 빈도 분석과 요인분석, 상관관계 분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 운동선수의 지도행동유형인 훈련과 지도행동, 민주적 행동, 긍정적 피드백, 사회적지지에서 선수만족 및 운동몰입에서 상호관련성은 정적(+)인 상관관계가 나타났으며, 지도행동유형의 권위적 행동에서는 운동몰입에 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 운동선수의 지도행동유형이 선수만족에 대한 결과는 사회적 상호작용은 훈련과 지도, 사회적 지지에서, 과제 수행은 훈련과 지도에서, 코치의 지도성은 훈련과 지도, 긍정적피드백에서 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 운동선수의 지도행동유형이 운동몰입에 대한 결과는 인지몰입은 훈련과 지도, 긍정적 피드백에서, 행위몰입은 훈련과 지도, 긍정적 피드백, 사회적 지지에서 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 선수들의 운동수행만족과 운동에 몰입하여 경기에 임하게 된다면 좋은 운동기술수행을 통하여 최상의 경기력을 발휘할 수 있을 것이다.

남성복 정장 스타일 유형에 의해 세분된 소비자 집단간의 특성비교 -생활양식, 의복행동 및 외모를 중심으로- (Consumer Types Based on Style of Men's Business Suits and Their Relationship to Lifestyle, Clothing Behavior and Appearance)

  • Changes in male roles and lifestyle in recent years have brought about an increased interest in appearance and apparel for men. The purpose of this study was to classify consumers into categories based on style of men's business suits and describe the resulting categories in terms of lifestyle, clothing behavior, appearance and demographic variables. Data were obtained from questionnaires completed by 513 consumers 20-69 years of age living in Seoul, and analyzed by factor analysis, multiple discriminant analysis, one-way ANOVA, CROSSTAB, and S-N-K test. Resulting categories of consumers were labeled as formal, semi-formal and casual. Descrip-tive profiles of the three categories were developed differently by 2 lifestyle factors (positive opinion leadership, social participation), 1 clothing factor (conformity), 2 appearance factors (conservative, energetic), and 2 demographic variables (age, marital status). The semi-formal type of man is significantly different from the two other types in his group activities that require social participation and opinion leadership. The formal type is significantly different from the two other types in his conformity in clothing and conservative appearance. The majority of formal and semi-formal types of men were 25-39 years of age and married, while the casual type was younger and unmarried.

외모에 대한 사회문화적 태도와 의복추구혜택이 패션제품의 양면적 소비에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Sociocultural Attitude toward Appearance and Pursuit of Clothing Benefits on Ambivalent Consumption of Fashion Product)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factor structure of sociocultural attitude toward Appearance, pursuit of clothing benefits, ambivalent consumption of fashion product and the effects of sociocultural attitude toward appearance and pursuit of clothing benefits on ambivalent consumption of fashion product. Questionnaires were administered to 425 women living in Deagu Metropolitan City and Kyungbook province. The data collected were analyzed by using frequency, factor analysis, multiple regression, ANOVA, and Duncan-test. The findings are as follows. Sociocultural attitude toward appearance was composed of two factors such as internalization, and awareness. Pursuit of clothing benefits was composed of four factors such as individuality oriented, social oriented, fashion leadership oriented, and body oriented. Ambivalent consumption of fashion product was composed of three factors such as style/price ambivalence, place of purchase ambivalence, and brand ambivalence. The effects of sociocultural attitude toward Appearance and pursuit of clothing benefits on each of ambivalent consumption of fashion product variables like style/price ambivalence, place of purchase ambivalence, and brand ambivalence were explained by the factors such as internalization, and awareness, and individuality oriented, social oriented, fashion leadership oriented, and body oriented.

중국기업의 리더십이 조직만족도, 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 글로벌화를 중심으로 (Leadership and Job Satisfaction, Turnover Intend of Chinese Enterprises: Evidence form Globalization)

  • 중국은 2001년 WTO에 가입하게 되면서 빠른 속도로 성장을 계속하였고, 최근에는 M&A를 통해 글로벌 시장에서 두각을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 리더십 유형을 세분화하여 중국의 리더십에 대해 실증분석하고, 글로벌화를 조절 변수로 하여 글로벌화가 리더십과 조직만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로서 대중국 투자의 방향을 도출하는데 연구 목적을 둔다. 본 연구는 가설검증을 위해 중국 우한지역의 MBA가 개설된 대학에 MBA학생들을 대상으로 설문을 수집하였으며, 178개의 데이터를 통해 다중회귀분석 및 조절회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 거래적, 변혁적 그리고 서번트 리더십은 조직만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으나, 리더십과 이직의도 사이에서는 유의미한 관계를 발견하지 못했다. 또한 글로벌화 변수를 통한 조절회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 글로벌화는 변혁적 리더십, 감성적 리더십과 조직만족도의 정의 관계를 강화시키는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, '글로벌화는 중국리더십과 이직의도 사이에 조절효과를 가질 것이다' 의 경우, 이직의도를 종속변수로 사용한 만큼 부의 효과가 증가될 것으로 기대하였으나, 조절회귀 분석결과 글로벌화는 거래적, 변혁적, 감성적 그리고 서번트 리더십이 이직의도에 오히려 긍정적인 영향으로의 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구는 중소기업의 관리자의 리더십 유형과 조직동일시을 이해하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 중소기업의 관리자 리더십과 조직동일시가 직무만족에 미치는 영향력과 조직신뢰의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 분석 자료는 중소기업 직원을 대상으로 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 리더십 유형 중 변혁적 리더십과 거래적 리더십은 직무만족도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 조직동일시는 직무만족도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 중소기업의 조직신뢰에 대한 매개효과는 변혁적 리더십→조직신뢰→직무만족도, 거래적 리더십→조직신뢰→직무만족도, 조직동일시→조직신뢰→직무만족도와의 관계에서 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해서 중소기업 관리자의 리더십과 조직의 역할의 중요성을 알 수 있었다. 또한 중소기업은 조직비전을 통해서 조직구성원들에게 조직에 대한 긍정적인 이미지를 심어주는 전략이 필요하다.

중국 여자대학생의 유행선도력과 한류 선호에 따른 한국 패션브랜드 구매행동 (Korean Fashion Brand Purchasing Behavior by Fashion Leadership and Korean Wave of College Women Students in China)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the Korean fashion brand purchasing behavior of Chinese woman college students who would be the one of major customers in Chinese market along with their preferences of Korean wave and fashion leadership. The data was collected from 379 Chinese female college students on Qingdao, China. The results based on the data analysis were as follows. 1. The students's preferences for Korean wave about Korean drama, popular song, films were relatively high. 2. Chinese female college students's evaluation of Korean fashion brand was high, especially, for the fashion trend, design/style, color, cutting and sewing, fitting, and material. However, they valued that its price was expensive. 3. The fashion leadership was classified as fashion innovation or fashion opinion leadership. 9.0% of the respondents were fashion dual leaders who were fashion innovator and fashion opinion leader. 4. The higher family income of the respondents was the better fashion leadership, preferences for Korean wave, perceived quality and attitude toward Korean fashion brand. The results showed that promotion strategy focused on keeping the Korean wave through drama, films, and popular song. And the development of high fashion brand and the word of mouth marketing through fashion dual leader were also needed in order to make inroads into China market.

CEO의 리더십 유형에 따른 기업의 위기관리 차이에 관한 연구 (Differences in Corporate Crisis Management Between CEO's Leadership Styles)

  • 최근 모든 분야에 변화의 속도는 빨라지고 다양한 위기 또한 더욱 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 이로 인해 위기관리 능력은 국가를 포함한 모든 조직의 생존에 직결되는 문제인 동시에 조직의 능력이라고까지 말할 수 있게 되었다. 일반적으로 기업의 경우, 위기는 경영을 책임지는 최고경영자(CEO: Chief Executive Officer)와 밀접하게 연계될 수밖에 없으며, 기업의 위기관리 대비 정도는 CEO의 리더십 유형에 따라 크게 좌우되고 있다. 이에 따라 위기관리에 대한 CEO의 리더십은 갈수록 중요해지고 있다. 외국에서는 위기관리와 리더십 사이의 상관관계에 대한 연구가 부분적으로 진행되고 있으나, 국내에서는 매우 미미한 상태이며, 지금까지 리더십과 위기관리에 대해 개별적으로 연구되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 CEO의 리더십 유형에 따라 기업의 위기관리에 대한 중요성인식과 대응수준은 어떠한 차이를 나타내는가를 연구문제로 설정하였다. 국내 200 여개 기업의 CEO의 리더십 유형과 위기관리 중요성인식과 대응수준을 설문조사 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 CEO의 리더십 유형별로 기업의 위기관리 대응에 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

The link between Perceived Organizational Justice, Knowledge Hiding Behaviors and Innovative Behavior: A Moderated Mediation Model

  • Purpose - Previous studies tried to find antecedents of innovative behavior. However, research on knowledge hiding behavior, psychological mechanism, and perception of organizational justice has been relatively limited. In this sense, this study has investigated the impact of organizational justice on employees' innovative behavior and explored the factors that affect the above relationship. Especially, this study tested the direct effect of organizational justice on innovative behavior. This study also examines the mediating roles of knowledge hiding behavior in this causal relationship. Moreover, the process of organizational justice to innovative behavior is assumed to be influenced by leadership style. Therefore, we examined the moderating effect of authentic leadership on the relationship between organizational justice and knowledge hiding behavior. Design/methodology/approach - For the empirical test, we collected data via a questionnaire survey of a sample of 252 employees from Korean firms. We conducted a hierarchical regression analysis to test hypotheses. Results - The results of the empirical analysis revealed that organizational justice was positively related to innovative behavior and negatively related to knowledge hiding behavior. The results also showed that knowledge hiding behavior negatively mediated the relationship between organizational justice and innovative behavior. In addition, we found the moderating role of authentic leadership. More importantly, we found that the conditional indirect effect of organizational justice on innovative behavior via knowledge hiding behavior was depending on authentic leadership. Uncovering the relationship between organizational justice and innovative behavior through the mediating role of knowledge hiding behavior and the moderated mediating role of authentic leadership has useful theoretical and practical implications. We also suggest directions for future research by providing several limitations.

남성동성애자의 성 역할에 따른 의복태도 및 선호 (The Clothing Attitude and Preference of the Gay Men According to Gender Role)

  • The main purpose of this study is to examine the gay men's clothing attitude and preference according to gender role, for reviewing their clothing culture. Specifically, this study focuses on 1) investigating gay men's clothing attitude(brand orientation, conformity, fashion leadership, sexual attractiveness), 2) identifying their clothing preference, 3) comparing the difference of lifestyle, and 4) comparing the difference of their preference color and wearing the accessary, according to their gender role. Futhermore, this study compares those factors between gay men and heterosexual men. The data was collected from 168 persons(76 gay men and 92 heterosexual men) in LGHRF(Lesbian & Gay Human Rights Federation), Korea Gaymen's Coalition and adult men living in Seoul. To analyze data, the methodology adopted in this study is frequency, t-test, and ANOVA. The results found in this study are as followings: First, sexual attractiveness was significant factor for the gay men's clothing attitude and not concern about conformity. According to the gender role, bottom, who have much of the woman in composition, was more higher for the fashion leadership than top, who have a propensity for masculine. Second, gay men prefer to masculine, simple and casual style. According to the gender role, 'top' was more likely to masculine, simple and formal style rather than 'Bottom'. Third, Gay men were much more concern about a cultural life style. Furthermore, a preference color for both group was blue. Especially, gay men tended to prefer a chromatic color. The implication getting from conclusion in this study was to study Gay men's taste for a fashion, clothing attitude and their preference to purchase, etc., in considering their buying power for clothing in a fashion market.
