  • The crystalline character of NaOH and KOH-cellulose complex having different tension ratio was studied using X-ray diffraction analysis. Cellulose crystalline lattices in tension alkali treatment cotton were identified by measuring and indexing the 101, 101, and 002 reflections. According as alkali treatment tension ratio increased on, cellulose gave rise to the formation of I rather than cellulose II. It seemed that a part of the fine structure of cellulose increased orientation with antiparaell and parallel chain crystal structure. The high tension ratio alkali treatment cotton resulted in lower dye sorption and in higher breaking strength and crease recovery.

  • The study of non-self-adjoint operator algebras on Hilbert space was only beginned by W.B. Arveson[1] in 1974. Recently, such algebras have been found to be of use in physics, in electrical engineering, and in general systems theory. Of particular interest to mathematicians are reflexive algebras with commutative lattices of invariant subspaces.

  • Depending on host environments, $Eu^{2+}$ emission can be spectrally tuned by manipulating the energy levels between allowed $4f{\leftrightarrow}5d$ transition. Spectral variations of $Eu^{2+}$ emission from narrow green emission to broad yellow emission band were achieved by varying the host lattices such as Sr- or Ba-silicate, borate, and borosilicate.

  • We introduce the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy (t, s)-congruences on a lattice and study some of its properties. Moreover, we obtain some properties of intuitionistic fuzzy congruences on the direct product of two lattices. Finally, we prove that the set of all intuitionistic fuzzy congruences on a lattice forms a distributive lattice.

  • We report on the fabrication of two-dimensional Silicon On Insulator (SOI) photonic crystal (PhC) superprism. To optimize the design of 2-D SOI PhC superprism, the photonic band structures (TE-polarization) for triangular lattices and the dispersion surfaces were calculated and analyzed by the plane wave expansion method. Dense 2-D SOI PhC superprism nanostructures with taper input and output waveguide microstructures were successfully fabricated by nanoimprint lithography, followed by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) etching.

  • W. Liu [11] has studied fuzzy ideals of a ring, and many researchers [5,6,7,16] are engaged in extending the concepts. The notion of fuzzy ideals and its properties were applied to various areas: semigroups [8,9,10,13,15], distributive lattices [2], artinian rings [12], BCK-algebras [14], near-rings [1]. In this paper we obtained an exact analogue of fuzzy ideals for near-ring which was discussed in [5, 11].

  • There exist two distinct Symmetric differences in a non Boolean orthomodular lattics. Let L be an orthomodular lattice. Then L is a Boolean algebra if and only if one symmetric difference is equal to the other. An orthomodular lattice L is Boolean if and only if one of two symmetric differences of L is associative.

  • Bandler and Kohout investigated the solvability of fuzzy relation equations with inf-implication compositions in complete lattices. Perfilieva and Noskova investigated the solvability of fuzzy relation equations with inf-implication compositions in BL-algebras. In this paper, we investigate various solutions of fuzzy relation equations with inf-implication compositions in pseudo BL-algebras.

  • We have investigated the holographic grating formation on Ag-doped amorphous chalcogenide As2Se3 thin films with Ag layer. The basic optical parameter which is a refractive index and extinction coefficent was taken by n&k analyzer. The source of laser was selected based on these parameter. Holographic gratings have been formed using He-Ne laser (wavelength: 632.8 nm) Diode Pumped Solid State laser (DPSS, wavelength: 532.0 nm) under [P:P] polarized the intensity polarization holography. The diffraction efficiency was obtained by +1st order intensity.
