중학교 과학과 총괄 지필평가 문항의 목표 분석 (Analysis of Summative Evaluation Objectives in Middle school Science Examination by Klopfer's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives)

  • 이 연구는 중학교 1학년 과학과 총괄 지필평가 출제경향을 조사하기 지필평가 문항의 행동영역, 내용영역, 문항유형, 난이도에 대하여 조사 분석하였다. 10개의 중학교의 1차와 2차 지필평가 문항의 총 645개를 연구대상으로 하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지필평가 문항의 행동영역은 '지식, 이해' 수준으로 편중되어 있으며, 적용, 분석, 종합, 평가 영역의 문항은 거의 출제가 되고 있지 않았다. 둘째, 내용영역은 기존의 연구의 결과에 비해 과학적 탐구과정의 출제 빈도수가 많아졌지만, 여전히 과학지식을 묻는 문항이 과학적 탐구과정의 문항과 비교하여 두 배 이상의 비율로 출제되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 문항유형은 선다형 문항 중심으로 출제 되고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 넷째, 정답률을 기준으로 문항의 난이도를 분석한 결과, 전체적인 빈도수에서 '상'에 해당하는 문항의 비율은 교사가 목표로 하는 난이도 비율보다 낮았으며, '중'의 비율은 교사가 생각하는 난이도 비율보다 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 과학학습에 대한 다양한 영역의 총체적인 평가를 위해서는 교사의 평가 및 문항 개발의 전문성 신장에 대한 노력이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

다문화 시각에서 접근한 다문화 가정의 결혼이주여성을 위한 영양교육 방안 - 결혼이주여성 및 영양교육 전문가를 대상으로 한 심층인터뷰 - (Nutrition Education for Female Immigrants in Multicultural Families Using a Multicultural Approach: In-depth Interviews with Female Immigrants and Nutrition Education Professionals)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate dietary behaviors and nutritional knowledge among immigrant women in multicultural families. In addition, this study reveals a necessity for nutrition education, which is apparent to both immigrant women living in multicultural families as well as nutrition education experts. The survey was conducted with 30 immigrant women within multicultural families in Seoul. The dietary behaviors of the women were significantly different by their period of residence. The longer they had resided in Korea, the higher their dietary behavior score. However, there was no significant difference in nutrition knowledge by their period of residence. This study also conducted in-depth personal interviews with 8 immigrant women who lived in Seoul, and with 4 nutrition education experts. These interviews were performed to provide profound insights regarding the content and means of nutrition education for immigrant women. Nutrition education for immigrant women living in multicultural families should proceed at a basic level in terms of language and content, using bilingual (Korean and their native language) education materials. Education topics and content need to be developed differently according to the level of Korean comprehension and period of residence in Korea. Also, this multicultural approach should be adapted when planning nutrition education since immigrant women have various acculturation levels, and the content and means of education should be adjusted to these acculturation levels. Management after nutrition education is necessary for immigrant women who do not have sufficient understanding of the Korean language. Practical educational methods such as real cooking practices and food purchasing simulations must be developed. Finally, the results suggest that the government needs to establish a systematic plan for nutrition education among immigrant women living in multicultural families. Policy support such as training nutrition educators on multicultural individuals residing in Korea is necessary for active and effective nutritional education.

의대생들의 한의학 진단 및 치료에 대한 인식 조사 (Attitude and Recognition of Medical School Students on Korean Traditional Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment)

  • Objectives : This study was aimed to facilitate mutual comprehension between Western and Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) by analyzing recognition of medical school students on traditional medical prescription and treatment such as herbal medicines and acupuncture. Methods : We conducted a survey targeting medical school students of four medical schools from April through May 2009, and analyzed 208 cases responded. Results : Survey results revealed that medical school students took knowledge of traditional medicine from TV programs and on the Web in general. They thought they had considerable traditional medical knowledge but did not almost understand for professional contents. Regardless of some positive recognition for traditional herbal medicine, negative perspectives were more common and its safety and efficacy on the drug reference were considered as a major reason. On the other hand, recognition on acupuncture was comparatively positive. Scientific data for both herbal medicine and acupuncture are lacking in reality but the attitude only for acupuncture was different. Of the survey respondents, 57.8% had negative attitude against diagnostic methods of TKM and 59.1% opposed to the usage of modern medical equipments by TKM doctors. With regard to the future position of TKM, they tacitly approved that TKM would be absorbed into the complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and importance of TKM objectification, followed by Government's support. Conclusions : Medical school students neither affirm nor deny TKM as a whole but the state of awareness for each item was similar to the physician. In terms of TKM its internal and external innovation would be required to continuously establish objectification of TKM prescription and scientific research on treatment technology.

표 기계독해 언어 모형의 의미 검증을 위한 테스트 데이터셋 (Test Dataset for validating the meaning of Table Machine Reading Language Model)

  • 표 기계독해에서는 도메인에 따라 언어모형에 필요한 지식이나 표의 구조적인 형태가 변화하면서 텍스트 데이터에 비해서 더 큰 성능 하락을 보인다. 본 논문에서는 표 기계독해에서 이러한 도메인의 변화에 강건한 사전학습 표 언어 모형 구축을 위한 의미있는 표 데이터 선별을 통한 사전학습 데이터 구축 방법과 적대적인 학습 방법을 제안한다. 추출한 표 데이터에서 구조적인 정보가 없이 웹 문서의 장식을 위해 사용되는 표 데이터 검출을 위해 Heuristic을 통한 규칙을 정의하여 HEAD 데이터를 식별하고 표 데이터를 선별하는 방법을 적용했으며, 구조적인 정보를 가지는 일반적인 표 데이터와 엔티티에 대한 지식 정보를 가지는 인포박스 데이터간의 적대적 학습 방법을 적용했다. 기존의 정제되지 않는 데이터로 학습했을 때와 비교하여 데이터를 정제하였을 때, KorQuAD 표 데이터에서 F1 3.45, EM 4.14가 증가하였으며, Spec 표 질의응답 데이터에서 정제하지 않았을 때와 비교하여 F1 19.38, EM 4.22가 증가한 성능을 보였다.

지식베이스 확장을 위한 멀티소스 비정형 문서에서의 정보 추출 시스템의 개발 (Development of Information Extraction System from Multi Source Unstructured Documents for Knowledge Base Expansion)

  • 지식베이스를 구축하는 작업은 도메인 전문가가 온톨로지 스키마를 이해한 뒤, 직접 지식을 정제하는 수작업이 요구되는 만큼 비용이 많이 드는 활동이다. 이에, 도메인 전문가 없이 다양한 웹 환경으로부터 질의에 대한 답변 정보를 추출하기 위한 자동화된 시스템의 연구개발의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 기존의 정보 추출 관련 연구들은 웹에 존재하는 다양한 형태의 문서 중 학습데이터와 상이한 형태의 문서에서는 정보를 효과적으로 추출하기 어렵다는 한계점이 존재한다. 또한, 기계 독해와 관련된 연구들은 문서에 정답이 있는 경우를 가정하고 질의에 대한 답변정보를 추출하는 경우로서, 문서의 정답포함 여부를 보장할 수 없는 실제 웹의 비정형 문서로부터의 정보추출에서는 낮은 성능을 보인다는 한계점이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 지식베이스 확장을 위하여 웹에 존재하는 멀티소스 비정형 문서로부터 질의에 대한 정보를 추출하기 위한 시스템의 개발 방법론을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제안한 방법론은 "주어(Subject)-서술어(Predicate)"로 구분된 질의에 대하여 위키피디아, 네이버 백과사전, 네이버 뉴스 3개 웹 소스로부터 수집된 비정형 문서로부터 관련 정보를 추출하며, 제안된 방법론을 적용한 시스템의 성능평가를 위하여, Wu and Weld(2007)의 모델을 베이스라인 모델로 선정하여 성능을 비교분석 하였다. 연구결과 제안된 모델이 베이스라인 모델에 비해, 위키피디아, 네이버 백과사전, 네이버 뉴스 등 다양한 형태의 문서에서 정보를 효과적으로 추출하는 강건한 모델임을 입증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 현업 지식베이스 관리자에게 지식베이스 확장을 위한 웹에서 질의에 대한 답변정보를 추출하기 위한 시스템 개발의 지침서로서 실무적인 시사점을 제공함과 동시에, 추후 다양한 형태의 질의응답 시스템 및 정보추출 연구로의 확장에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the world of Galliano works who lead Dior Couture and to make use of this knowledge to comprehension of general trend in Haute Couture and $pr{\hat{e}}t-{\acute{a}}$-porter in the future. The method of research is to search for the characteristic of Haute Couture and the general tendency of Galliano works, and to view the inclination of Dior Couture by Galliano. For sphere of research, 2000s is discussed with focus on Haute Couture, exclusive of ready-to-wear. As a result, Galliano's Couture works were distinguished into four specificities. First, the historicity including historical event, personage and epoch. Second, the orientalism. Third, the pictorial characteristic including synthetic art and public art. Forth, the quality of humor. These subjects bring about a result that break down each boundary, in the method of interpreting, as try out mixing between every elements. Galliano pursue a new domain through the fusion of East and West, past and present, classic and pop, artistry and commercialism, this induce more familiar Haute Couture to the public, breaking the strict form of Couture. It seems that this tendency will be advanced toward extrovert Couture producing the low-age phenomenon in Couture, the mixture of multi-culture and the vitality. This fusion suggest the popularity and the commerciality of Couture, which is predicted decrease the difference between Couture and $pr{\hat{e}}t-{\acute{a}}$-porter.

인지부하를 고려한 의학교육 교수-학습 설계 (Cognitive Load and Instructional Design in Medical Education)

  • The purpose of this study was to review the definition of cognitive load (CL), the relationship between CL and instructional design, and to provide a viewpoint of CL in curriculum and instructional design in medical education. Cognitive load theory (CLT) makes use of three hypotheses about the structure of human memory: working memory (WM) is limited in terms of the amount of information it can hold, in contrast with WM, long term memory is assumed to have no limits and organizes information as schemata. CL indicates the mental load on the limitation of WM. CLT has been used to design instructional interventions that help to ease the learning process. Extraneous CL is related to irrelevant instructional interventions, while intrinsic CL is the complexity of the information itself. Germane CL is the cognitive process for acquiring schema formation. It is a necessary CL to achieve deeper comprehension and solve problems. The range of medical education includes complex, multifaceted and knowledge-rich domains with clinical skills and attitudes. Therefore, CLT may be used to guide instructional design in medical education in terms of decreasing extraneous CL, adjusting intrinsic CL and enhancing the germane CL.

Re-examining the Potential for Schema to Aid Students towards Developing EFL Reading Skills

  • The current study reported on the continuing relevance of the schema theory for reading as it relates to the field of teaching and SLA, whilst highlighting the inherent limitations affecting individual learners. A relevant study was conducted for this article focusing on the extent to which university teacher trainees of English Education are exposed to second language readings with an adherence towards utilizing prior knowledge and drawing upon schemata to support their comprehension. Results from quantitative and qualitative data measured and collected from two groups of university students respectively, indicated certain advantages to this strategy use in respect of increased understanding, familiarity, and comfort level in SL reading. However, those same results identified existing limitations associated with cultural bias, stereotyping and a tendency to focus on wrong information when activating said schemata. As such, the purpose of this study is to promote awareness of the schema theory as an effective strategy option whilst reinforcing a need to pay heed to the concerns associated with strict reliance upon such theory to aid reading skills. Further discussion of these issues and pedagogical implications has been provided along with both suggested considerations regarding teaching for EFL teachers and evaluators.

Analytical Approach of Sliding Installation Method with Spar Structure

  • It is important to understand the trajectory of structure in launching process because of the short time of launching process may result in unexpected accidents or damage to structures. The high risk of structural failure is not avoidable without the fully comprehension of changing forces in launching procedure. The commercial software can evaluate the motion of launching event in calm water condition but there is the limitation of research application because of the programmed commercial software. The launching process of the spar hull is suggested with stage concept that is divided into 10 stages in time domain. A force equilibrium diagram is derived for each stage where the changes of force vector and motion characteristics take place. In particular, the effects of changes in buoyancy and drag force due to the progressive submergence of the spar hull are taken into account by means of a touch length concept. The results contained in this paper provide the valuable information of the trajectory motion evaluation with suggested methods in spar launching process with sliding barge. Furthermore, the presented stage concept and touch length concept will provide basic knowledge for understanding launching process and help to develop further research area for launching analysis.

초점과 정보 구조에 따른 한국어 화자의 영어 억양 실현 양상 (Korean Speakers' Realization of Focus and Information Structure on English Intonation in Comparison with English Native Speakers)

  • Focus and information structure are closely related with the distribution of pitch accents. A focused word conveys new information and bears a pitch accent. A content word can usually get a pitch accent, but it can be deaccented if it is mentioned earlier in the discourse. In this paper, we test how English native speakers and Korean learners of English realize pitch accents according to focus and information structure of a sentence. The production experiment shows that English native speakers give a pitch accent to narrow-focused items, deaccenting all the other items of the sentence. For VP broad focus, native speakers give a pitch accent either to both the verb and its complement or to the complement only. On the other hand, it is found that Koreans give pitch accents to most content words regardless of focus and information structure. Moreover, the perception experiment confirms that Koreans' intonation patterns, which are not appropriate in terms of focus and information structure, may jeopardize listeners' comprehension. This paper shows that Korean speakers have little knowledge about focus and information structure for intonational realization, and that such notions should be applied to teaching of English intonation.
