All human being can't exist by oneself. That is, all human being depend on intimate attachment for their survival. Physical and psychological powers and control functions are prerequisites for one's survival and these serve important functions in interpersonal relationships. There are two kinds of powers and controls. One is positive power which helps one survive effectively. Another one is negative power which disturbs one's effective survival. Introspection is one of the positive power and most important process in understanding oneself and others. Thus, the purpose of this study is to elucidate the physical and psychological meaning of the characteristics of water and based on this meaning, to suggest one way of introspection. The authors reviewed the precept of water which is described in Bible and oriental classical books such as 'the Analects of Confuicus(論語)', 'Tao Te Ching(道德經)', 'Mencius(맹자)', 'Chronicle(史記)', 'The Doctrine of the Mean(中庸)', 'University(大學)'. The author also reviewed 'The History of Three Countries(삼국사기, 삼국유사)', 'The Precept of Religion', and 'the modern poems' which includes the symbolic meaning of water. The results are summarized as follows：1) The flow of water itself is the expression of introspection. Because, water does not flow without filling a puddle. 2) Water is the symbol of 'Immortality'. 3) Water symbolizes 'Modesty and Trust'. 4) Water is the symbol of 'Freedom from Greed'. 5) Water symbolizes 'Goodness and Beauty'. 6) Water symbolizes 'Naturality and Love'. Immortality, Modesty and Trust, Freedom from Greed, Goodness and Beauty, and Naturality and Love are eternal, universal values which all human should seek and achieve. By the process of introspection through the symbolic meaning of water, we can achieve these positive aspects of human mind and spirit.

The Railway Signalling Equipment's transformation to Micro-electronic has been caused to the decrease of its introspection against a surge voltage. So, there has been many tries to protect the railway signalling equipment from a surge voltage by using of a various surge protector. In this study, we are trying to draw up the protective plan to prevent this weakness on introspection by analyzing the electric characteristic on such a surge protector and reviewing the way on distributing wires in signalling room.

Human being can be defined in several ways. These are biological, psychological, social and religious, ethical and philosophical aspects. The first two viewpoints refer to the intrapersonal aspects and the last two viewpoints deal with the interpersonal aspects. In every aspect, introspection is very much important to understand him or herself and other person. In this paper, the author summarized the instruction from the oriental old classic books. By doing this process, the author suggested three ways to introspect himself：1) We have to read the old classic books on Wisdom and follow the teachings in those books. 2) Self-analysis may be one way to introspect him or herself. It is to understand his emotional response by way of thinking(reasoning). By repeating this process, affect and thinking can achieve harmony and balance. 3) Training analysis may help to introspect oneself. Qualified analysts may be of help. In order to understand the psychological aspect of patients, the psychiatrists should get insight into his own mind. In this aspect, introspection is the single most important factor in achieving insight.

The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences via convergent approach of qualitative research method after conducting Mind Settling and Introspection Meditation(MCIM) in nursing students. Data were collected from 10 nursing students at a Nursing University and analyzed using the method of content analysis. Four theme clusters were found from the study; 'A change in attitude after reflection on life and repentance,' 'Becoming mentally healthy,' 'Becoming a master of subjective life,' 'Recognizing the value of all being and realizing the self-value.' In this study, it was discussed that MCIM could be utilized as an intervention program to recover the moral character of nursing students. It is necessary to expand and study various subjects by revising and supplementing MCIM.

This study intends to explore the characteristics of prospective teachers with a qualitative study based on the experience of students. To that end, the classes of prospective teachers and experienced teachers were compared through the students with focus on PE class. Practicum is the first teaching experience of prospective teachers and there are many related studies. However, there are few studies contributing to the reflective introspection of prospective teachers based on the experience of students. Thus, this study intends to promote their reflective introspection on their practicum, the first teaching experience. It was revealed that the majority of students find the prospective teachers' class less helpful than the class of experienced teachers. The detailed findings are as follows. First, the students find that prospective teachers only focus on the textbook and materials they have prepared. Second, most students find that prospective teachers do not consider the level of students as they focus on the textbook only. Third, most students find the class of prospective students uninteresting. Fourth, most students find that prospective teachers are unable to help students acquire various functions easily. The findings show that the majority of students find the prospective teachers' classes are inadequate. It implies that prospective teachers do not gain effective teaching skills at their universities (college of education). Prospective teachers should identify their areas of improvement based on their student experience.

Intrusion detection techniques based on virtual machine introspection (VMI) provide high temper-resistance in comparison with traditional in-host anti-virus tools. However, the presence of semantic gap also leads to the performance and compatibility problems. In order to map raw bits of hardware to meaningful information of virtual machine, detailed knowledge of different guest OS is required. In this work, we present VDSM, a lightweight and general approach based on driver separation mechanism: divide semantic view reconstruction into online driver of view generation and offline driver of semantics extraction. We have developed a prototype of VDSM and used it to do intrusion detection on 13 operation systems. The evaluation results show VDSM is effective and practical with a small performance overhead.

자바빈 컴포넌트를 이용한 RAD 개발 도구들은 일반적으로 자바빈 컴포넌트를 시각적으로 배치하고, 속성 및 이벤트를 편집할 수 있는 개발 환경을 제공한다. RAD 개발 도구들은 배치된 컴포넌트에 대한 속성과 이벤트를 편집할 수 있는데 특히 이벤트는 개발자의 응용 논리가 포함된 부분으로 완전한 시각화를 통한 구현이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 자바빈 컴포넌트 기반 개발 환경에서 자바 언어의 인트로스팩션(Introspection) 메커니즘을 이용한 자바 소스 코드 생성 기법을 제시한다. 자바 소스 코드의 생성은 태그로 표시된 템플릿 코드의 생성과 자바의 위임 이벤트 모델을 이용한 이벤트 처리 코드를 생성하여 템플릿 코드에 합성하는 방법을 따른다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 기법은 인트로스펙션에 의해 추출된 정보를 개발자에게 시각적으로 보여주며 개발자의 시각적 조작에 따라 이벤트에 대한 소스코드를 자동으로 생성해준다.

Kernel rootkit is recognized as one of the most severe and widespread threats to corrupt the integrity of an operating system. Without an external monitor as a root of trust, it is not easy to detect kernel rootkits which can intercept and modify communications at the interfaces between operating system components. To provide such a monitor isolated from an operating system that can be compromised, most existing solutions are based on external hardware. Unlike those solutions, we develop a kernel introspection system based on the ARM TrustZone technology without incurring extra hardware cost, which can provide a secure memory space in isolation from the rest of the system. We particularly use a secure timer to implement an autonomous switch between secure and non-secure modes. To ensure integrity of reference, this system measured reference from vmlinux which is a kernel original image. In addition, the flexibility of monitoring block size can be configured for efficient kernel introspection system. The experimental results show that a secure kernel introspection system is provided without incurring any significant performance penalty (maximum 6% decrease in execution time compared with the normal operating system).
