This study was conducted to find out the relationship between dental anxiety and self-efficacy, physical and psychological condition and expected self-efficacy. The objective of this study was also to provide foundation for appropriate dental hygiene intervention model for scaling. In this study, anxiety reactions were measured among 178 patients, who made appointment with dental hygienists for scaling between May and July, 2009. The analysis was done in SPSS 12.0 statistical program which confirmed Cranach's alpha value. Technical statistics, t-test and One-way ANOVA, correlation and regression were also used. The result of the study is following: While dental hygienist conducts scaling, the dental anxiety was each measured in following categories: Thus male, age between 40 and 50, single, high school graduated and unemployed were measured highest dental anxiety among various groups. Dental Fear Scale demonstrated the validity of relationship between dental anxiety and self efficacy. The correlation was equated as r=-.409(p<0.01). In the other words, the higher self efficacy, the lower dental anxiety. The relationship between dental anxiety and physical and physiological condition was relevant. Physical condition was r=-.229(p<0.01) And then, the psychological condition was r=-.299(p<0.01). Thus, better physical and physiological condition results in less dental anxiety. The relationship between expected Self-efficacy and dental anxiety is also valid. The dental anxiety after performance accomplishment is r=-.239(p<0.01), after vicarious experience is r=-.195(p<0.01), after verbal persuasion is r=-.152(p<0.05), after recognition of physiological state is r=-.410(p<0.01). In conclusion, sex, age, marital status, education level, employment, physical condition, physiological condition are all relevant to dental anxiety(F=8.834). Both independent and dependent variables p<.05 have 37.5% persuasiveness.
Corruption in China became increasingly serious during the early period of its social transition, resulting in severe economic losses and huge challenges to China's government institution, as well as gradually becoming socially widespread. Recently. China's political corruption is an outcome of the attenuated political control, which has been caused by a systemic change from planned economy to market economy since 1978, and the lack of institutionalization to relieve such transition. Besides, the immature market system and state's intervention in the economy are other factors for the corruption. In short, current China's corruption can be regarded as a structuralized phenomenon. This article identified such circumstance by analyzing the scope, degree, and scale of the corruption. Overall assessment of the some factors suggests that present economic modernization is a principal cause for Chinese corruption while the other factors-monopoly power system in the Chinese Communist Party and the transformation of connection-are important but secondary.
This study examined four ecological systems, namely individual, family, school, and media environments. A series of moderator analyses were conducted to examine variations in effect size estimates across the study characteristics. The current study estimated that the effect size results were gleaned from 360 primary studies, including 90 journal articles and 270 thesis/dissertations, published between 2011 and 2022. The current meta-analysis results supported the ecological framework. That is, the impact of each ecological system on the development of positive and negative peer relationships varies depending on age groups and protective-risk factors. Specifically, for positive peer relationships, the largest effect size of the protective factor was found at the individual level for young and school- aged children, but at the school level for adolescents. Regarding the risk factors for positive peer relationships, the media was the ecological system with the strongest effect size for both young children and adolescents, while the individual-level demonstrating the strongest effect for school-aged children. Results from this meta-analysis allow us to identify some vital intervention areas in terms of healthy peer-relationship development, which should be of considerable interest to the educators and policymakers who are responsible for assessing and intervening with at-risk young children, school-aged children, and adolescents. From a practical standpoint, the current meta-analysis results are expected to contribute to developing effective prevention initiatives by targeting specific protective and risk factors for peer relationship development on the ecological system level.

Since 1990 the effort for unification has been active in each department of our society. But the study for health policy in Unified Korea has been scarce. Unified Korea should be a democracy and a constitutional state. So we should have lively discussion on the health law as well as unified general laws. The purpose of this study is to compare the health law of South Korea and North Korea and to understand the differences in them. We guess both Korea are considerably different each other. But this study found out that there are many health related laws that have same goals and contents. The reason for this is that both health laws have its root in Korea Law. And the right to health is the social basic right. whose characteristic can not be compatible with market economy and demands state intervention for securing the right to health. The health related laws are divided into 4 fileds. 1. There is a field A which is affected by unified political and economic system and differs little from the law system: the license system of medical personnel. 2. There is a field B which is seldom affected by unified political and economic system and differs little from the law system: the right and duty of medical personnel. quarantine law. 3. There is a field C which is affected by unified political and economic system and differs greatly from the law system: health institution law(exclusive of quarantine law), the laws of medical personnel category, of research center(especially per-mission, registration and establishment). of the role of basic health in private and public area. 4. There is a field D which is seldom affected by unified political and economic system and differs greatly from the law system: health equipment law(the laws of drugs, of cosmetics and of medical instrument. of blood management). the laws of health knowledge. of cooperation in chinese medicine and western medicine. the health promotion law. the rules of first-aid. the law of separation of dispensary from medical practice. The laws which are seldom affected by political and economic system can be consolidated. which in turn can be revised and enacted before unification of Korea through the interchange between North Korea and South Korea and the support to North Korea health system.
Bosnia has a unique political and social structure of 'One State-Two Systems' according to the 'Dayton Peace Agreement'. It is true that since the end of the 1995 civil war, the problem of nation and peace in Bosnia has been attracted by the broad concept of Europe as a whole, beyond the local dimension of the Balkans. Bosnia is a typical 'Mosaic of Religion and Culture' region in Europe. And Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia, where various religious and cultural features of Europe are gathered, is called 'Jerusalem in Europe'. For this reason Bosnia has repeated a history of cultural and religious conflict since the Middle Ages. However, before the civil war in the late 20th century, the nations in Bosnia also had experience of 'harmony among various nations, religions and cultures of East and West'. The international community, including the EU, has paid attention to this point as it promotes Bosnia's reconstruction and peace settlement. And these are working to restore the history of harmony among nations in Bosnia today. In the past, research on Bosnia has focused primarily on national conflicts between religions and cultures. However, in this study, I will try to analyze the practical cases of peace settlement and harmony among nations in Bosnia as follows: First, 'Bosnia's accession to the EU' which means active intervention and continued interest of the international community. Second, 'the resolution of war crimes and liquidation of past history' through the end of ICTY mission in December 2017. And third, 'reflection of international society and historical reconciliation of Serbia' through the reinterpretation of the Srebrenica massacre.

The environment of the modern library is changing rapidly with advancements in information technology, massive increse in information, and with the changing needs of users for information in order to keep up with developments in science and technology. The library should also be in a constant state of change in accordance with the changing environment. But the current situation is that library organizations in Korea do not show any change. Here arises the need to diagnose the health of these organization. Organizational innovations can be achieved either by change in the organizational structure or administrative methods or in personal attitudes. In making organizational innovations, however, it is not sufficient only to change the organizational structure or the administrative methods without changing personal attitudes. The purpose of this thesis is to diagnose the health of university library organizations in Korea and to suggest prescriptions based on the results of this diagnosis, by means of organization development theory. In this study, the action research model and the diagnostic model were developed for the health of university library organization in Korea. The action research model consisted of 3 steps: diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. The diagnostic model comprised diagnostic criterion and diagnostic indicators. The health of an organization was selected as the diagnostic criterion. Diagnostic indicators were divided into 3 levels: personal job-satisfaction at the individual level, cohesiveness at the group level, and the organizational climate at the organizational level. Both the interview and the questionaire were used as diagnostic methods. The questionaire form was designed according to the Likert typle 5-point scale. For the investigation, 10 university libraries were selected from the private universities in Seoul, and questionaire sheets were sent to their 156 librarians and responses were received from 116 persons. An interview was carried out with a selected chief of departments of the library concerned. The results of the diagnosis show that the average personal jobsatisfaction was 3.57, the group cohesiveness was 3.15 and organizational climate was 2.93, and accordingly the comprehensive health indicator was 3.22. The health of university library organizations in Korea was generally on the decline at all 3 levels. In particular, the organizational climate was in a very weak state. Most problems concern dissatisfaction with personnel policy, communications and non-professionally qualified directors. As the prescriptions, the following was suggested: institutionalization of the staff meeting for resolving problems with communication, appointement of professional directors, performance appraisal, conferring faculty status for librarians, and a suggest system. And for the improvement of the organizational climate, managerial grid training was suggested as one of the educational strategies for organizational development.
The purpose of this study is to identify the relationships of job stressor. coping strategies. and stress responses of manufactoring workers. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires from 262 of the manufacturing workers in a local electronic company from July to August. 1999. For data analysis. Cronbach's a. Factor Analysis. Descriptive statistics. ANOVA. and Pearson's correlation coefficient with SPSS/PC+ 7.5 version program were used. The results were as follows: 1. Regard to the stress responses and coping strategies by sociodemographic variables. 'the overall stress responses' showed significant differences by sex. age. marrital state. The use of 'control coping strategy' showed significant differences by sex and the type of work. The use of 'avoid coping strategy' showed significant differences by sex. age. married state. year of career. and income. 2. The average scores of 'the job characteristics and participation in decision making factor'. 'the physical environmental factor'. and 'the role and leadership factor' were 2.66. 2.59. 2.59 in order. The average scores for 'the avoid coping strategy' and 'the control coping strategy' were 3.03. 2.97. The average scores for 'the overall. psychosoical. and physical stress responses' were 2.18. 2.18. 2.23. 3. The 'control coping strategy' was negatively related to 'the job characteristics and participation in decision making factor'. 'the role and leadership factor'. 'the psychosocial stress responses'. and 'the overall responses'. 'The control coping strategy' was positively related to all of 'the job stressors'. 'the physical stress responses', and' the overall stress responses'. 'The physical environment factor' was positively related to all of 'the stress reponses'. 'the role and leadership factor'. and 'the job characteristics and participation in decision making factor'. According to the results of this study, the suggestions were as follows: 1. The coping strategies of manufacturing workers in the specific job stress situation should be considered to future studies. 2. In order to applying the stress management program in the workplace. The organizational intervention focused on 'the job characteristics and participation in decision making' will be needed. 3. To support and use of 'control coping strategy' of the workers. the organizational efforts should be required.

The Moon Jae-In government's nuclear phase-out policy, on the one hand, has significance in that it has for the first time put the brakes on the nuclear expansion policy and has escaped from the inertia of existing policies. On the other hand, however, since the ethical basis of the nuclear phase-out has not been clearly defined as policy norms, it faces the contradiction between the nuclear phase-out domestically and the export promotion of nuclear power plants. Furthermore the nuclear phase-out policy remains ambiguous and politically irresponsible in that there is no political vision for the energy transition or nuclear phase-out time; and the nuclear phase-out policies have not been enacted yet. This paper considered that these kinds of problems have stemmed from the absence of nuclear politics and analyzed its causes and effects. In this paper the causes of the absence of nuclear politics were identified in the characteristics of the Korean developmental state model and administrative bureaucrats' planning; and its effects were qualitatively analysed through the National Assembly members' statements expressed on the minutes of the relevant National Assembly Standing Committees. The result of the analysis indicates that the lack of nuclear power politics led to the failure of the legislature to control the nuclear administration and led to irresponsible politics especially in the nuclear back-end management. Therefore this research emphasized the necessity of responsible intervention of party politics in the nuclear policy and suggested the policy norms for the nuclear phase-out based on the concepts of Max Weber 's the ethics of conviction (Gesinnungsethik) and the ethics of responsibility (Verantwortungsethik).
Youth unemployment is a global social issue which leads to a waste of human resources and undermines the national economy. Job search self-efficacy (JSSE) can predict active job search and job search outcomes. The present study identified the factors affecting the JSSE of unemployed youth based on the Neuman Systems Model (NSM). The results indicated that job search period, job search stress, and problem-centred coping ability influenced young job seekers' JSSE, which increased especially with the perception of physical health. Therefore, to promote JSSE, it is necessary to not only establish social systems for the youth but also develop an intervention plan based on the NSM that optimises problem-centred coping ability, a normal line of defence in the individual's system, and maintains a healthy physical state, a line of resistance.
As international transactions have grown more numerous, situations of disputes related to the transactions are getting more complicated and more diverse. Cost-effective remedies to settle the disputes through traditional methods such as adjudications of a court will be insufficient. There fore, nations are attempting to more efficiently solve investor-state disputes through arbitration under organizations such as the ICSID Convention, the ICSID Additionary Facility Rules, and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules by including the provisions on investor-state dispute settlement at the conclusion of an investment agreement. In case of an arbitration under the ICSID Convention, ICSID directly exercises the supervisorial function on arbitral proceedings, and there is no room for the intervention of national courts. In time of the arbitration where the ICSID Convention does not apply, however, the courts have to facilitate the arbitral proceedings. When the recognition and enforcement of an arbitral award under the ICSID Convention are guaranteed by the Convention, it should be considered that the New York Convention does not apply to them under the Convention Article 7 (1) fore-end. In exceptional cases in which an arbitral award under the ICSID Convention cannot be recognized or enforced by the Convention, the New York Convention applies to the recognition and enforcement because the award is not a domestic award of the country in which the recognition or enforcement is sought. It is up to an interpretation of the New York Convention whether the New York Convention applies to ISDS arbitral awards not based on the ICSID Convention or not. Although an act of the host country is about sovereign activities, a host country and the country an investor is in concurring to the investment agreement with the ISDS provisions is considered a surrender of sovereignty immunity, and it will not suffice to exclude the investment disputes from the scope of application of the New York Convention. If the party to the investment agreement has declared commercial reservation at its accession into the New York Convention, it should be viewed that the Convention applies to the recognition and enforcement of the ISDS awards to settle the disputes over an investitive act, inasmuch as the act will be considered as a commercial transaction. When the recognition and enforcement of an arbitral award on investment disputes about a nation's sovereign act have been sought in Korea and Korea has been designated the place of the investment agreement arbitration as a third country, it should be reviewed whether the disputes receive arbitrability under the Korean Arbitration Act or not.
