The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of elementary school students' interpersonal stress and attitudes toward help on happiness. The subjects were 171 elementary school students. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, there was a significant negative correlation between interpersonal stress and happiness. Attitudes toward help had a significant positive correlation with happiness. Second, parents and peer relationship stress had significant negative influence on happiness. Third, help seeking attitude toward parents and teacher among the sub-factors of help seeking attitude had a significant positive influence on happiness. Fourth, the relationship between parental stress and happiness showed a significant mediating effect on parents and teacher attitude toward help. The relationship between teacher stress and happiness showed a significant mediating effect on teacher attitude toward help. The relationship between peer relationship stress and happiness had no mediating effect of attitude toward help. Based on these results, we discussed the importance of attitude toward help in the relationship between stress and elementary school students' happiness.
Purpose: The purposes of this study were to identify the scores of perceived job stress, health perception and health promoting life style in community health nurses and to define the correlations of three variables. Method: The data were collected by 68 subjects, using the self-reported questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and pearson correlation coefficient. Result: The mean score of job stress was $3.19({\pm}.60)$, health perception scale was $3.04({\pm}.49)$ and health promoting life style profile was $2.49({\pm}.30)$. The relationship among job stress, health perception and health promoting life style were not statistically significant. The relationships between age, overloading job, knowledge & skill deficit and problem of interpersonal relationship were statistically significant. The relationship between religion and problem of interpersonal relationship was statistically significant. The relationships between single of marital status, knowledge & skill deficit and problem of interpersonal relationship were statistically significant. The relationship between career and stress management was statistically significant. Conclusion: These results suggested that health promotion program for community health nurses to reduce job stress, promoting health promoting life style should be carefully developed so as to provide better quality of health care services to the community people.

The study was to examine the effect that perceived stress, self-efficacy, Interpersonal relationship ability affect resilience of Humanities and Social Sciences undergraduate students. Population of this study were 330 students in B city. Data were analyzed by a real number, percentage, Mean, SD, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, logistic regression analyzation using SPSS 22.0. Resilience mean of population was 3.34±0.45. Resiilence of population had a positive correlation with self-efficacy(r=.521, p<.001), Interpersonal relationship ability(r=.678, p<.001) and had a negative correlation with perceived stress(r=.234, p<.001). The factors affected to resilience of population were self-efficacy(β=.280, p<.001), Interpersonal relationship ability(β=.394, p<.001), prceived stress((β=-.191, p<.001), R2 was 53.3%. This results indicated the factors that affect resilience of Humanities and Social Sciences undergraduate students.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the moderating effect of interpersonal relationship skills in adapting military life and stress in the army. For this purpose, 453 soldiers in Chungnam and Daejeon were surveyed. First, the main result of this study is the difference in interpersonal skills and group life adjustment in accordance with the rank and class of the soldiers. Second, too much stress can cause difficulty to adapt military life and interpersonal skills. Also high interpersonal skills can help to adjust well to military life. Third, according to the survey, it was confirmed that the openness in the sub-factors of military life and military life stress was effective. This study suggests that it is important to help control the stress of military life to improve the ability of the openness of interpersonal skills in order to increase the adaptability military life.
The purposes of this study was to investigate how interpersonal relationship stress had the impact on job attitude and turnover intention. To perform this study, total 420 questionnaire were distributed to regular hotel employees from October 16th to November 26th in 2017. Unworkable data were excluded, and final 344 usable responses were obtained for an empirical analysis. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were measured by using SPSS 18.0, respectively. For the study structure, interpersonal relationship stress primarily concentrated on the boss/staff/colleague/customer stress. Job attitude was divided into organization commitment and job satisfaction. Transfer intention was a single factor. The results of this study were shown as follows: Hypothesis 1, boss/customer stress have a negative effect on organization commitment and boss/colleague/customer stress have a negative effect on job satisfaction. Hypothesis 2, boss/customer stress have a positive effect on transfer intention. Hypothesis 3, tissue commitment have a negative effect on transfer intention. This results of this study have shown that stress management of employee is a source of management result in hotel business. This study have given to the hotel's human resource management and internal marketing for the practical implication and academical use.
This study tried to identify the job stress characteristics of female bank workers and the relationship between their stress and symptoms associated with musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs). The total number of 587 female bank tellers have been participated in this study. Specifically, questionnaire surveys regarding job stress and MSDs symptoms were conducted. On the basis of the results from the survey using Korean version of job stress questionnaire with 24 questions, stress scores associated with job requirement and job flexibility were relatively high. The job stress levels regarding job demand, organizational system, occupational climate at the work place were relatively high for the full time workers while the job stress levels regarding insufficient job control, job stability, interpersonal conflict, lack of reward were relatively high for the part time worker. The workers with longer total work years had relatively high job stress associated with interpersonal conflict, and organizational system while the workers with longer work years at the current job had relatively high job stress associated with occupational climate. Also, the workers with longer working hours a day had relatively high job stress associated with job demand, interpersonal conflict, organizational system, and occupational climate. According to the relationship identified in this study, symptoms at the neck, shoulder, hand, low back. leg were associated with the stress levels in terms of job flexibility, interpersonal conflict, job requirement, job stability. In conclusion, female bank workers are exposed to job stress due to their specific job characteristics and there has been certain relationships between their job stress and MSDs symptoms.
This descriptive study was designed to measure the degrees of work stress and job satisfaction and use interpersonal conflict resolution strategy as an attempt to provide clinical nurses basic data to develop strategies releasing work stress and improving job satisfaction. These data were collected from 367 clinical nurses working in 9 hospitals nation-wide from May 1, to June 30, 1998. A structured questionaire was used for data collection. The questionnaire included Kim and Koo's work stress scale, Lee's interpersonal conflict resolution strategy scale and a Minesota satisfaction questionnaire. Data analysis was done by the use of the SAS computer program with descriptive statistics, t -test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Cronbach - ${\alpha}$. The results were as follows 1. The mean score of work stress for the subjects was 4.34(SD=0.64). The highest scored reasons for work stress were 'inadequate com pensation' 4.93(SD=0.86), 'lack of professional knowledge and skill' 4.70(SD=0.92) and 'unsatisfactory relationship with superior authorities' 4.63(SD=0.97). The lowest scored reasons were 'unsatisfactory relationship with inferior staff' 3.72(SD=1.02), 'inadequate mechanical environment' 3.72(SD=1.11) and 'interpersonal problems' 3.85 (SD=1.06), The work stress in clinical nurses differed significantly depending on the hospital type (F=4.00, p=0.0082). 2. The clinical nurses used compromise(45.1%) as the best interpersonal conflict resolution strategy. The second was collaboration(32.8%), the third accomodation(14.2%), the forth avoidance(4.2%) and the fifth competition(3.6%). 3. The item score of job satisfaction of the subject was 3.00(SD=0.43), The job satisfaction in clinical nurses differed significantly depending on age(F=5.67, p=0.0000), marital status(t= -1.89, p=0.0511), academic career(F=5.84, 0.0001), official position (F=7.38, p=0.0001), and work career(F=6.33, p=0.0001). 4. The result of the analysis of relationship between work stress and job satisfaction was significant(r= -0.34, p=0.0000). In conclusion, it was found that work stress was very high in clinical nurses. They used interpersonal conflict resolution strategies to release their interpersonal problems and to increase their job satisfaction. Therefore, adequate stress management for clinical nurses will provide them with higher job satisfaction and hence lead to more qualitified nursing care.
This study was performed to identify the level of stress of clinical practice and clinical competency and the relationships between stress of clinical practice and clinical competency in nursing students. The subjects of this study were 379 senior nursing students in 2 nursing colleges in M city. The data were collected from November 5th to 24th, 2000, using questionnaire. The instruments used were the Stress of Clinical Practice Scale and the Clinical Competency Measurement Tool. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, using the SPSS program. The results of the study were as follows : 1. The mean score for the level of stress of clinical practice was 3.83 points. The stress of clinical practice were classified into six dimensions and their order of getting score was nurse(3.99), relationship between nursing theory and practice(3.94), human relationship (3.92), clinical education and evaluation by professors(3.87), environment(3.70), and patient(3.59). 2. The mean score for the level of clinical competency was 3.91 points. The clinical competency were classified into five dimensions and their order of getting score was professional development (4.08), skills (4.06) , interpersonal relationship/communication(3.95), teaching/coordinating(3.81), and nursing process(3.70), 3. The stress of clinical practice showed significant difference in the score of grade(t=-2.82, p=.005), interpersonal relationship(t=1.97, p=.049) and satisfaction of major(F=3.38, p=.035) of nursing students. 4. The clinical competency showed significant difference in the score of grade(t=-5.97, p=.000). interpersonal relationship(t=3.64, p=.000) and satisfaction of major(F=8.73, p=.000) of nursing students. 5. The data showed the positive correlations between stress of clinical practice and clinical competency(r=.209, p=.000). In conclusion. this study found that the stress of clinical practice was significantly related to clinical competency in nursing students. Therefore further study is needed to examine the efficient coping strategies about stress of clinical practice in nursing students.

Purpose: In this study, the relationship between the interpersonal relationships, clinical stress and satisfaction of clinical practice among nursing was examined. Method: The participants were 261. Data collected from 7 September to 18 September 2015 were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Result: The mean scores for the interpersonal relationship ($3.74{\pm}0.39$), stress ($3.21{\pm}0.54$), and satisfaction ($3.44{\pm}0.45$) in clinical practice were above average. Interpersonal relationships differed significantly according to year (F=3.12, p=.046), satisfaction with nursing as a major (F=15.84, p<.001), important of interpersonal relationships (F=4.76, p=.001), and academic achievement (F=3.80, p=.011). Stress in clinical practice differed significantly according to the year (F=8.05, p<.001), application motivation (F=4.55, p=.001) and satisfaction with nursing as a major (F=2.69, p=.046). Satisfaction in clinical practice differed significantly according to satisfaction with nursing as a major (F=3.24, p=.022), important of interpersonal relationships (F=3.01, p=.019), and academic achievements (F=5.24, p=.002). Significant correlations were observed between the interpersonal relationships and satisfaction in clinical practice (r=.24, p<.001). Interpersonal relationship (${\beta}=.21$, p<.001), academic achievements (${\beta}=.12$, p=.045) were factors influencing satisfaction in clinical practice. Conclusion: The interpersonal relationships need to be improved to increase nursing students' satisfaction with clinical practice
This study aimed to analyze the relationship between interpersonal problem, stress coping strategies and mental health for university students at risk of smartphone addiction using a structural equation modeling. Key results of the analysis were as follows. The interpersonal problem increased the severity of mental health. Stress coping strategies had partial mediating effects in the relationship between interpersonal problem and mental health. Passive coping strategy was risk factor and Active coping strategy was protective factor. Based on these results, various interventions for improving mental health for university students at risk of smartphone addiction were suggested.
