Design and Application of Power Line Communication Module for V2G Conforming with International Standard for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EV 충전인프라를 위한 국제표준에 부합하는 V2G용 전력선통신모듈 설계 및 응용)

  • The environmental regulations are being strengthened all over the world, and the introduction of electric vehicles are actively being considered to cope with them effectively. It is essential to establish a charging infrastructure, which is an essential element of electric vehicle distribution. In this paper, power line communication technology essential for smart charging infrastructure is studied. A control board capable of achieving a physical layer speed of 10Mbps and a TCP/IP layer of 4.5Mbps, which conforms to the ISO/IEC 15118 international standard, and a control board mounted on the board and compliant with international standards. We have developed a software solution to perform functions for linking. In addition, in order to be applied to the combo-type DC fast charger, the hardware was designed to meet the industrial environment standard and the V2G communication module was developed by integrating it with the software solution.

  • Brands have begun to act without giving in to the challenges facing our society. Just like the slogan in the novel "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas proclaimed, "All for one, one for all!" in the age of transmedia the success of brand activism must reflect the same principle. Specifically, by embracing the big as well as the little stories of consumers scattered everywhere, each and every one should create a huge resonance. This means that brands should use the cultural lever of transmedia so that the various stories of consumers do not fade into oblivion and, furthermore, expand the brand's call to action. By analyzing brand activism cases in business, this study explores the effectiveness of brand activism for advertisers to develop a better understanding of brand communication strategy. Building on findings that show new young generation consumers to favor brands that respond to social, political, and environmental issues and conceptual implications of the snowball effect, this study emphasizes consumer participation in the brand story creation process and the need for brands to aim for high standards of professionalism and accountability, so that they can grow together with their consumers.

  • Recent telecommunication technology trends have made possible the concept of Intelligent Network, which is expected to lead to additional revenues for both telecommunication administers as well as business service customers. In this paper international Korea Telecommunication Network configuration with special services are described and introducing the Intelligent Network Services into the international Korea Telecommunication Network in a phased manner is studied considering of interworking between international and domestic Intelligent Network services.

The Management of International Distribution Channels : Focusing on the Perspective Korean Exporting Companies

  • Purpose - The objective of this research is to investigate how selected Korean General Trading Companies, (KGTCs), manage their international distribution channels to sustain the growth of the international marketplace. Specifically, the following questions were answered: What is the profile of the respondents in the position from the company, the experience in channel of distribution operations, the number of distribution channels existing in the international marketplace. Research design, data, methodology -The thirty-nine respondents representing 55 percent have less than 10 years of experience in channel of distribution operations while 34 respondents, equivalent to 45 percent have 10 or more years of experience. All of the respondent KGTCs are using the channel of distribution in their export operations in Asia. Respondent KGTCs' 2015 export sales in Asia were between US$ 100 to 200 million. Results - There are no significant differences in the perceptions of the two groups of respondents with regard to the perceived practices of KGTC in the management of international distribution channels. Exporting companies use common sense when managing conflicts and emphasize the importance of a clear contract which states what obligations and requirements there are of each party in order to prevent conflict. Conclusions - The higher level of details in the contract, the lesser would conflicts arise. The more intense communication, the higher level of information exchange.   • How does a public health crisis play into the digital rhetoric of states? As Covid-19 is presenting a situation in which countries need to manage the international environment in a relatively short period, their practices could signal how digitization is going to influence public diplomacy in the longer run. This paper explores state public diplomacy in the context of a public health crisis. It develops a theoretical framework of public diplomacy on social media through how and what states communicated during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic. Through keyword and hashtag analyses, we identify two patterns. First, states usually regard social media as an instrument for domestic communication rather than public diplomacy. The international impact of messaging has not been prioritized or well-recognized. Social media platforms such as Twitter have global outreach and messaging can be seen by audiences all over the world. Messages intended for the domestic audience could have an international impact. Thus, any communication on digital platforms should consider their public diplomacy outcomes. Second, while social media platforms are claimed to be for networking at different levels, states tend to connect with other states rather than with international organizations during the pandemic. States do not like to mention international organizations like the WHO and the UN on Twitter. Instead, they were either busy dealing with internal problems or cooperating with another state to combat the virus.

  • We are confirmed to the transfer degree of physical signal with the communication code on the wireless communication system. The physical transfer system was consisted of such as ECG, PPG and Bluetooth part that received signal. Communication method was take the international standard level of IEEE802.15.1 forms, the frequency transition was needed the bandwidth of communication for transfer signal with the band-communication method. The program was expressed to receive with wireless communication condition that was consisted of such as the serial chart, processing and app inventor. Their signal was identified to transfer certainly the corrected signal. Therefore, signal processing for coding by the real-time graphing and using processing by a standard capacity of serial-chart graphing that will be possible to progress the improvement effectiveness of wireless communication system.

  • Various countries around the world are conducting various studies to apply information and communication technology to marine safety. Based on this, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has established the e-Navigation standard to apply the latest information and communication technology to marine services. In Korea, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries is promoting Korean e-navigation considering domestic marine environment and is trying to apply LTE communication method as a high-speed wireless communication method at sea. In this paper, we describe the development of an LTE based marine router system supporting 700Mhz frequency band allocated for high speed maritime wireless communication service. Experiments on the possibility of 100km distance communication from base station using LTE based ship router are shown. LTE - based high - speed maritime wireless communication router system can provide communication infrastructure necessary to develop various accident prevention technologies that may occur at sea.

  • The managing strategies of each enterprise has been fundamentally changed due to the emergence of digital economics by using the internet. Therefore it is indispensable for each enterprise to be changed their business strategies. With a view to meeting the change of new economic paradigm, they are efforting to build a infrastructure for information and communication, induce foreign capital, reconsider their conditions of location, draw the law concerned and reinforce education for experts etc. In consideration of these change, the KwangYang port have to introduce e-Business for the purpose of increasing the level of their competition. We - our government, the companies - concerned with port management should recognize and use efficiently our core competence and potentiality of our port management. To achieve it, firstly port industries are to handle not only international logistic system but also communication, finance and sightseeing. Secondly, the developed off-line system have to be harmonizing with the on-line. Therefore, this paper are focused to suggest the theoretic background by analyzing the strategic points of e-port which are divided in 6C - Contents, Community, Connection, Commerce, Communication and Customization.

  • In this paper, we propose some essential requirements for CBM(Computer Based Multimedia) based distance education. This is a class of multimedia distance education in which the multimedia technique is combined with the distance home education application that is real time collaborative application on cyber-space using the information super highway. Requirements in this paper is observed standard at ITU(International Telecommunication Union). international standardization organization for multimedia communication. And. a structure for integrated home information service on the information super highway is based on IEEE 1394 serial communication and POF(Plastic Optical Fiber) home backbone that is study for application service according to the multimedia based distance home study system.

  • The printing industry is getting more digitalized and integration. It has enabled the interactive information and networking from Pre-Press, Press, to the Post-Press. These are efficient management and the improved process and productivity are getting more important. Such trends improved in the functionality and automation. This paper tries to find out how technology for CIP3/4-based process may be applied and resolved. Such subject includes the domestic and international cases regarding each manufacturer's CIP3/4 technology types. Another purpose is to emphasize on the needs to establish the environment. Under this environment, it is possible to integrate network in exchangeable form through JDF standard format after CIP3/4. Based on the data from this study, it is expected to collect further substantial data which is related to the domestic printing company's CIP4 operation. It will be also possible to perform subsequent studies on the proper variables of the market segment. CIP4 stands for "International Cooperation for Integration of Prepress, Press and Post-press, it is an association of around forty international companies, mostly manufacturers of prepress, press and post-press, as well as suppliers and users. In this paper, we studied on the acting application of CIP4 workflow.
