Design and Implementation of IoT-Based Intelligent Platform for Water Level Monitoring (IoT 기반 지능형 수위 모니터링 플랫폼 설계 및 구현)

  • The main objective of this study was to assess the applicability of IoT (Internet of Things)-based flood management under climate change by developing intelligent water level monitoring platform based on IoT. In this study, Arduino Uno was selected as the development board, which is an open-source electronic platform. Arduino Uno was designed to connect the ultrasonic sensor, temperature sensor, and data logger shield for implementing IoT. Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) was selected as the Arduino software and used to develop the intelligent algorithm to measure and calibrate the real-time water level automatically. The intelligent water level monitoring platform consists of water level measurement, temperature calibration, data calibration, stage-discharge relationship, and data logger algorithms. Water level measurement and temperature calibration algorithm corrected the bias inherent in the ultrasonic sensor. Data calibration algorithm analyzed and corrected the outliers during the measurement process. The verification of the intelligent water level measurement algorithm was performed by comparing water levels using the tape and ultrasonic sensor, which was generated by measuring water levels at regular intervals up to the maximum level. The statistics of the slope of the regression line and $R^2$ were 1.00 and 0.99, respectively which were considered acceptable. The error was 0.0575 cm. The verification of data calibration algorithm was performed by analyzing water levels containing all error codes in a time series graph. The intelligent platform developed in this study may contribute to the public IoT service, which is applicable to intelligent flood management under climate change.

  • Entering the 4th industrial revolution, many technologies are developing and various threats are emerging. In order to cope with such threats, research is being conducted in many fields. Even in the development of various fields, the threats caused by the development of medical technology and intelligent vehicles are the threats to life due to misinformation about medical care and the threats to life by preventing the safe operation of people through intelligent vehicles. In this paper, as the patient's information is important, the private blockchain is used to increase the safety, efficiency, and scalability of the patient's medical records. We propose an information protection technique using blockchain technology to hack the car system and threaten the driver's life, solve privacy problems by identifying personal information and differences, and prevent forgery in the Internet of Things.

An Effect of Inquiry Activity-based Environmental Education Class on Elementary School Students' Environmental Attitudes - Focusing on the Intelligent Life of the Second Grade - (기초 탐구 활동 중심 환경 수업이 초등학생들의 환경적 태도에 미치는 효과 - 초등학교 2학년 슬기로운 생활을 중심으로 -)

  • This article extracted feasible elements for an environmental education program from the 'Intelligent Life', an integrated subject of the 7th elementary school curriculum, and designed a program for second graders in the elementary school and applied it to them in order to examine how the students' environmental altitudes changed. In the controlled class, the instruction followed the lessons specified in the 7th national curriculum faithfully while for the experimental class 1, only the inquiry activity-based environmental education program was applied. Moreover, in experimental class 2, the inquiry activity-based environmental education program was implemented and wrap-up activity was performed as well with the products. To verify the program, questionnaires on the change of environmental altitudes were distributed and analyzed total three times in the pretest, posttest 1(right after the program), and posttest 2(30 days after the program). T-test was carried out with the SPSS 12 program to verify the effect of the applied program. To make up for the quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis was also conducted. The followings show the results gained after the program was implemented. First, This program showed a significant difference(p<.05) in the students' formation of environmental altitudes. Second, it was verified that the inquiry activity-based environmental education class that reorganized the second grade elementary students' 'Intelligent Life' subject had a more positive effect in the cultivation of environmental altitude than the class that followed the present curriculum as it was. It will be necessary to perform follow-up researches on the relativity between curricula for kindergarteners and lower grade elementary school students.

  • 본 논문에서는 지식에 대한 개념을 정의하기 보다 지식의 life-cycle을 통한 지식의 생성과 소멸을 모델화함으로 시식을 설명하려 한다. 본 논문은 노나카의 지식 창조 모델을 기반으로 하고 기존의 KMS들을 분석하여 일반적인 지식 life-cycle 모델을 도출하였으며, 기존 모델의 문제점을 보완하여 새로운 지식 life-cycle 모델을 만들었다. 이 모델과 앞으로의 지식관리 시스템 발전 방향을 고려하여 지식 관리 시스템 아키텍쳐를 제시하였다. 본 논문에서는 이 아키텍쳐를 근거로 지식 관리 시스템을 구현하기 위한 6개의 컴포넌트를 도출하였다. 6개의 컴포넌트는 지식 생성, 지식 분배, 지식 측정, 지식 연결, 지식 검색, 지식 저장이다. 이 컴포넌트들로 지식 관리 시스템의 prototype을 구현해 본 결과 지식 life-cycle을 단계적, 부분적으로 지원하지만 부족한 부분이 있는 것을 발견하였다. 향후에는 지식 생성과 지식 연결 컴포넌트를 강화하여 전체적인 지식 life-cycle을 지원할 예정이다.

  • In Hyper-Connected Society, IoT-based Lifelog data is used throughout the Internet and is an important component of customized services that reflect user requirements. Also, Users are using social network services to easily express their interests and feelings, and various life log data are being accumulated. In this paper, Intelligent characters using IoT based lifelog data have been developed and qualitative/quantitative data are collected and analyzed in order to systematically grasp emotions of users. For this, qualitative data through the social network service used by the user and quantitative data through the wearable device are collected. The collected data is verified for reliability by comparison with the persona through esnography. In the future, more intelligent characters will be developed to collect more user life log data to ensure data reliability and reduce errors in the analysis process to provide personalized services.

A Study on Stamp Process Life Time in Thermal NIL (Thermal NIL 용 스탬프 공정 수명에 관한 연구)

  • Nano Imprint Lithography(NIL) is technique for copying a pattern from stamp with nano size pattern in order to replicated the materials. It is very important to demold in order to make NIL process effectively. Self Assembled Monolayers(SAM) coater is manufactured by means of decreasing surface energy with the stamp surface treatment to improve release characteristics. Manufactured device contains tilting and rotation option for increasing process life time by coating on the sidewall of the pattern in stamp. The stamp coated with optimized tilting angle $30^{\circ}$ and rotation speed of 10rpm has more imprinting cycles than the stamping coated without tilting and rotation. Effective SAM coating on the sidewall of the pattern in stamp will improve by 50% of process life time.

  • In this paper, an Intelligent Bed Robot System (IBRS) is proposed, that is a special bed equipped with robot manipulator. To assist a patient using IBRS, pose and motion estimation process is fundamental. It is designed to help the elderly and the disabled for their independent life in bed without other assistants. For this purpose, we use the pressure sensor distributed mattress for detecting the change of motion on the bed. Using that data, we control the robot arm to move to the appropriate position and serve to the user. In addition, we can estimate the user's intention based on the change of pressure and use those data to control the robot arm guide.

  • 본 논문은 하이브리드용 자동차의 리튬 이온 전지의 사이클 라이프에 따른 용량의 감소를 예측하고 잔량을 예측하기 위한 지능형 스마트 모듈의 설계를 제안한다. 리튬 이온 전지는 충 방전 횟수에 따라 전하를 담을 수 있는 용량이 감소하고, 방전 전압이 비선형이므로 정확한 잔량 예측이 어렵다. 따라서, 지능형 스마트 모듈은 전압과 전류, 온도의 측정을 위한 데이터 수집 장치를 제작하고 퍼지 로직을 이용한 잔량 측정 알고리즘을 통해 정확도가 높은 리튬 이온 전지의 잔량을 예측하고, 충 방전 실험 값과 퍼지 로직을 이용한 결과 값의 비교를 통해 그 효용성을 보인다.

Generation of Emergent Game Character′s Behavior with Evolution Engine

  • In recent years, various digital characters, which are automatic and intelligent, are attempted with the introduction of artificial intelligence or artificial life. Since the style of a character's behavior is usually designed by a developer, the style is very static and simple. So such a simple pattern of the character cannot satisfy various users and easily makes them feel tedious. A game should maintain various and complex styles of a character's behavior, but it is very difficult for a developer to design various and complex behaviors of it. In this paper, we adopt the genetic algorithm to produce various and excellent behavior-styles of a character especially focusing on Robocode which is one of promising simulators for artificial intelligence.
