교육용 AVR 로봇의 자바기반 플랫폼 (Java based Platform for Educational Robots on AVR)

  • C 언어는 AVR사의 ATmega128을 기반으로 하는 교육용 로봇 팔의 주 프로그래밍 언어다. C 언어는 교육용 로봇 팔을 제어하고 프로그램 학습하기 원하는 중학교 또는 고등학생들에게는 매우 어렵고 복잡하였다. 더구나, 통합개발환경, 디버딩 및 테스팅 환경도 제공하지 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 교육용 로봇을 위한 자바 기반의 통합 개발 플랫폼을 제안하였다. 이 플랫폼은 교육용 로봇 팔을 위한 최신의 초소형 자바 가상 머신(NanoVM), 이클립스 플러그인을 사용한 통합개발환경, 실제 로봇을 연결하지 않아도 테스트 및 디버깅을 할 수 있는 3차원 시뮬레이터를 포함하고 있다. 이러한 자바 개발환경은 어린 학생들이 매우 용이한 교육용 로봇 팔 학습환경을 제공하게 되었다.

모바일용 스마트 메시지 서비스 플랫폼 (Smart Message Service Platform for Mobile Environment)

  • 스마트폰의 급속한 보급으로 보안 공격에 안전하고 통합적인 메시지 서비스에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 스마트폰은 3G/WiFi와 같은 데이터 네트워크를 이용하기 때문에 다양한 보안 정책을 통해 안전한 메시지 전송이 가능하고, 카메라와 GPS를 통해 수집된 다양한 정보를 포함할 수 있는 통합 메시지 서비스가 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 인증, 메시지에 대한 기밀성 및 무결성을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 위치, 사진, 문자 메시지를 통합하여 전송할 수 있는 메시지 서비스 플랫폼을 제시한다. 그리고 플랫폼의 기능성을 검증하기 위해 아이폰 앱과 메시지 전송 서버를 구축한 사례를 소개하고 구현 결과를 보인다.

  • The Digital Multimedia Broadcasting(DMB) system is developed to offer high quality audio-visual multimedia contents to the uses by the various portable terminals in the mobile environment. Integrated complex reception platform is required to receive multimedia broadcasting services transmitted from various transmission media. In this paper, we present the design and implementation technic for providing the both of terrestrial and satellite DMB services simultaneously using the same hardware platform. The implemented complex receiving terminal to accommodate these DMB services simultaneously need composed of it RF module. it baseband module, it complex control module and the complex de-multiplexer module. The complex control module is designed using uClinux operating system. The complex de-multiplexer, which perform the functions of the address decoder and each DMB stream de-multiplexer, is implemented. with FPGA device. The implemented platform is tested in a real environment and its performance is satisfied with required performance criteria.

Networked Robots using ATLAS Service-Oriented Architecture in the Smart Spaces

  • We introduce new type of networked robot, Ubiquitous Robotic Companion (URC), embedded with ATLAS Service-oriented architecture for enhancing the space sensing capability. URC is a network-based robotic system developed by ETRI. For years of experience in deploying service with ATLAS sensor platform for elder and people with special needs in smart houses, we need networked robots to assist elder people in their successful daily living. Recently, pervasive computing technologies reveals possibilities of networked robots in smart spaces, consist of sensors, actuators and smart devices can collaborate with the other networked robot as a mobile sensing platform, a complex and sophisticated actuator and a human interface. This paper provides our experience in designing and implementing system architecture to integrate URC robots in pervasive computing environments using the University of Florida's ATLAS service-oriented architecture. In this paper, we focus on the integrated framework architecture of URC embedded with ATLAS platform. We show how the integrated URC system is enabled to provide better services which enhance the space sensing of URC in the smart space by applying service-oriented architecture characterized as flexibility in adding or deleting service components of Ubiquitous Robotic Companion.

U-City 도시통합관제플랫폼의 상황 이벤트 ID, 우선순위 기능 설계 및 구현 (A design and implementation of a priority and context-aware event ID for U-City integrated urban management platform in U-City)

  • 본 논문은 U-City 도시통합관제플랫폼과 U-서비스 시스템 간 상황 이벤트 ID 체계 수립 및 상황 이벤트 별 ID 설정, 상황 이벤트 우선순위 기준 수립 및 상황 이벤트 별 우선순위 설정 등을 통해 표준화된 연동 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 제시된 상황 이벤트 ID 체계 및 우선순위 설정 기준을 적용하여, 도시통합관제플랫폼에 수신된 상황 이벤트 리스트를 우선순위 순으로 디스플레이하여 먼저 처리될 수 있도록 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 상황 이벤트 ID 체계 및 우선순위 기준을 적용하면, 사고 및 재해 발생시 신속한 응급조치 및 대응을 통해 업무 중단시간을 단축시킬 수 있게 되며, U-City 사업에서 비용절감 및 구축 기간 단축 등의 효율성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Development of effective convergence type medical tourism platform

  • Current medical tourism is focused on the services of large hospitals and it is hard to find ways to attract the users. Users collect information for medical tourism through various paths in order to receive the medical consultations and customized tour services. To expand medical tourism to small and medium sized hospitals, it is necessary to have the customized medical consultations, tours and interpreter services, which are the key elements of medical tourism. This study suggests ways to provide the services based on information on medical consultations, tours and interpreter services that users had experienced directly, and also based on the platform for the essential items integrated from users, hospitals and guides' viewpoints. With information on hospitals that provide medical consultations and guides who are able to provide professional services in translation, interpretation and customized tour, users may accumulate and share the information about hospitals and customized tours verified by other users from the integrated platform. To match the contents provided by hospitals and guides with information experienced by users into a system, this study suggests the construction plan for the service model that can match the experience information between users and hospitals, between users and guides and between hospitals and guides systematically by operating the data in the universal container.

Implementation of Real-time Integrated Platform for Producing Food Packaging Container

  • This study proposes a plan to construct an integrated platform that reduces manufacturing costs and efficiently produce by integrating the systems of main producers, production subcontractors, and raw material subcontractors for the production of food packaging containers. The production plan of food packaging containers and raw materials is established in real time between the main producers, production subcontractors, and raw material subcontractors in consideration of the demand characteristics of each product. It establishes basic information that all processes from the production planning stage to the forwarding stage of the product are linked to each other. The progress of each producer of interlinked processes is shared in real-time to improve productivity and quality of food packaging containers and raw materials and reduce manufacturing costs. By monitoring the system of the main producer and the production subcontractor in real time, the production of food packaging containers is performed in a timely manner, thereby improving productivity. The application of the plan-do-check-action (PDCA) process, which includes planning, execution, evaluation and improvement in the production operation processes of the main producer, production subcontractor and raw material subcontractor, enables improved production compliance rate. The contents of the main producers, production subcontractors, and raw material subcontractors are managed in real time, then a converged production management system is established through the platform proposed in this study to ensure timely supply and demand of raw materials without delay in ordering.

선박 유지보수를 위한 선체 두께 관리 시스템 개발 (Development of Hull Thickness Management System for Ship Management System)

  • The specific goal of the SMS (Ship Management System) is to increate ship safety and decrease maintenance fee. Equipment of ship is managed by PMS (Planned Management System), subsystem of SMS. But hull has not managed by ship manager. So, the Classes have developed the system for hull maintenance. Recently, the ship maintenance system has been developed for satisfying operator's requirements such as managing maintenance data as integrated platform, intuitive manipulation and design for ease of use. To reflect such requirement, 3D Model based maintenance system was introduced for ship in operation stage. Hull items that have to be inspected, repaired, replaced, are stored in integrated data platform with drawing, reports, and etc. and completely linked to 3D product Model. This system is specially developed for measurement and maintenance of hull thickness.

통합플랫폼관리체제에서 퍼지논리를 이용한 화재진압통제 지능시스템의설게 및 구현 (A Design and Implementation of the Intelligent System for the Fire Fighting Control using Fuzzy Logic in Integrated Platform Management System)

  • In maned ship, crews may have risks as they manage damage control system in IPMS in damage situations such as fire in a ship. So the application of unmaned autonomous systms can reduce the number of boarding crews and attribute to safe marine transportation. The paper suggests an intelligent system of the fire fighting control using fuzzy logic in Integrated Platform Management System which can take measures against fire situation of a ship excluding unnecessary warnings with undamaged situations. The system here detected the fire more accurately and adopted more appropriate measures according to ship status compared with conventional systems. Of all, a reduction of false detection of fires was noted.

  • 본 논문에서는 사이버공격의 주요 대상인 웹 애플리케이션의 보안을 위하여 취약점진단 및 제거, 이행점검의 웹 통합보안관리 플랫폼을 제안한다. 이 플랫폼은 동적진단엔진, 취약점제거보안모듈, UI를 제공하는 통합관리시스템, 진단 결과를 저장하는 결과 및 통계 DB, 와 진단을 위한 관련 정보를 저장하는 진단 및 보안정보 DB로 구성되며, 동적진단결과에 대한 상관관계분석 기능과 취약점 개선 활동 시 스마트 보안모듈을 통해 빠르고 손쉬운 취약점 제거수정, 완화할 수 있는 통합플랫폼 연구를 통하여 웹 애플리케이션보안을 효율적으로 할 수 있다.
