Test methodology is diversity by devices and the number of test pattern is tremendous because the digital circuit includes TTL and CMOS family ICs as well as high density devices such as ROM and RAM. Accordingly, the quick and effective test strategy is required to enhance the test productivity. This paper proposes the test strategy which is able to be applied efficiently to the diversity devices on the digital circuit board by analyzing the structure and characteristic of the digital device. Especially, this test strategy detects the faulted digital device or the faulted digital circuit on the digital board using SSA(Serial Signature Analysis) technique based on the polynomial division theory The SSA technique identifies the faults by comparing the reminder from good device with reminder from the tested device. At this time, the reminder is obtained by enforcing the data stream obtained from output pins of the tested device on the LFSR(Linear Feedback Shift Register) representing the characteristic equation. Also, the method to obtain the optimal signature analysis circuit is explained by furnishing the short bit input streams to the long bit input streams to the LFSR having 8, 12, 16, 20bit input/output pins and by analyzing the occurring probability of error which is impossible to detect. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed test strategy is verified by simulating the stuck at 1 errors or stuck at 0 errors for several devices on typical 8051 digital board.
The existing input device is limited to keyboard and mouse. However, recently new type of input device has been developed in response to requests from users. To reflect this trend we propose the new type of input device that gives instruction as analyzing the hand motion of image without special device. After binarizing the skin color area using Cam-Shift method and tracking, it recognizes the hand motion by inputting the finger areas and the angles from the palm center point, which are separated through labeling, into four cardinal directions and counting them. In cases when specific background was not set and without gloves, the recognition rate remained approximately at 75 percent. However, when specific background was set and the person wore red gloves, the recognition rate increased to 90.2 percent due to reduction in noise.
In this paper, we present FloatingPad, a touch pad based device with better scrolling feature and more interaction styles than a traditional touch pad. When we interact with a real object like a picture or a book, we manipulate on the object, and we also move, rotate, and flip the object. We applied this idea into a touch pad. In FloatingPad, the touch pad is not fixed to the device. It is floating on the device; it can be slid on the device. Therefore a user can have additional degree of freedom of input by shifting and rotating the touch pad while having the traditional touch pad input. By using this technique, the interactivity of the touch pad can be augmented, and better scrolling feature can be provided by reducing clutching occurs on the position scrolling devices by using the movement of the touch pad as rate control. We implemented the prototype device and conducted a user study with three applications developed for FloatingPad.

Skilled typists can type characters or words without looking at keyboard, relying on the finger's relative position. If the relative positions of the fingers can be identified, a virtual keyboard may be accomplished by applying the concept of "DataGlove" or "FingerRing". The virtual keyboard may be efficient as a new mobile input device supporting QWERTY keyboard layout. For the purpose of investigating skilled typing pattern, in this paper the touch-positions of the fingers are measured with a touchscreen while five skilled typists type a long sentence. From these measurements it can be observed that the groups of touch-positions are classified into alphabet characters. Though there are some overlapped groups we can find constant distances capable of being discriminated among the groups from investigation of the change of touch-position for touch-time. Based on the analysis, the prediction algorithm of the constant distance is proposed and evaluated, which is useful for realization of a portable virtual keyboard.le virtual keyboard.

A virtual keyboard may be efficient as a new mobile input device supporting QWERTY keyboard layout. As a preliminary study for developing a virtual keyboard, the typing pattern of a skilled human is investigated. In the study the touch-positions of the fingers are measured with a touchscreen while five skilled typists perform typing of long sentences. From these measurements it can be observed that the groups of touch-positions are classified into alphabetic characters. Though there are some mismatches, we can find constant distances capable of being discriminated among the groups. Based on the analysis the prediction algorithm of the constant distance is proposed and evaluated, which is useful for realization of a portable virtual keyboard.

Spectral reflrectance of the object should be measured to predict the color of object under various illuminants. The spectral reflectance can be represented in a multidemensional space. Generally we can obtain only three-channel data from input device such as CCD camera, color scanner etc. The estimation from three dimensional to multidimension can be achieved using principal components of spectral reflectance. In this paper, A method to predict the spectral reflectance of skin color taken by 3-channel input device is discribed. To confirm this method, we simulate color represent under various illuminants about yellow, white and colored women face.

The paper deals with a study on an electronic watering device. The system is designed to scan 10 probes so that they detect moisture of soil. Input potentials are compared with reference level before the system is watering. rt provides a main clock oscillator and a control oscillator for the system control, and a programmable unijunction transistor is used for the control circuit. The reference levels are adjustable so as to water various soils. The device is tested for two different sails of moisture content ranging from 6 to 51%. It works at any input level higher than 0.6 V compared to the reference level.
Most of information and communication assistance machinery and tools for disorder people of Occupied are machinery and tools for a visual impairment person and software, The things which can apply to only a specification disorder type and a specification disorder part are most, A special keyboard or a special mouse device of the handicapped person that disorder rank is comparatively the hardness makes the mainstream. It is reported in diffusion rate being very low if I compare this with total disorder population. I study new 1 plan which it can be applied to various disorder types and disorder parts through an intelligent special input device in a study of a book and, I designed this at the real standard that I could manufacture and incarnated it. In addition, I suggested this in a base for a design of a universal supporting input device and suggestion for the side of incarnation plan and a future study direction.

This paper suggests an input device that allows a user not only to naturally interact with education contents in virtual environment but also to sense haptic feedback according to his/her interaction. The proposed system measures a user's motion and then creates haptic feedback based on the measured position. To create haptic information in response to a user's interaction with educational contents in virtual environment, we develop a motion input device which consists of a motion controller, a haptic actuator, a wireless communication module, and a motion sensor. To measure a user's motion input, an accelerometer is used as the motion sensor. The experiment shows that the proposed system creates continuous haptic sensation without any jerky motion or vibration.
Mobile devices such as mobile phones or PDAs are considered as main interlace tools in ubiquitous computing environment. For searching information in mobile device, it should be possible for user to input some text as well as to control cursor for navigation. So, we should find efficient interlace method for text input in limited dimension of mobile devices. This study intends to suggest a new approach to mobile interaction using camera based virtual keyboard for text input in mobile devices. We developed a camera based virtual keyboard prototype using a PC camera and a small size LCD display. User can move the prototype in the air to control the cursor over keyboard layout in screen and input text by pressing a button. The new interaction method in this study is evaluated as competitive compared to mobile phone keypad in left input efficiency. And the new method can be operated by one hand and make it possible to design smaller device by eliminating keyboard part. The new interaction method can be applied to text input method for mobile devices requiring especially small dimension. And this method can be modified to selection and navigation method for wireless internet contents on small screen devices.
