Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the innovation performance through business innovation activities by small and medium size company as well as to test the moderating effects on the innovation techniques'understanding and conformance. Methods: The data for the empirical analysis was collected from 132 companies mainly located in Jeolla and Gyeonggi Province. Cronbach's alpha factor analysis, multiple regression analysis and hierarchical multiple regression were used for statistical methods. Results: The Statistical analysis results show that innovation performance through business innovation techniques and activities was effected by CEO leadership, company capability and training for employees. Conclusion: Through this study we tried to give some suggestions for improving innovation performance through business innovation activities for the small and medium size company.

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the mediating effect of innovation activities on the effect of organizational culture perceived by organizational members on organizational effectiveness. The main results are as follows. First, Hypothesis 1, organizational culture, was adopted as it showed a positive influence on innovation activities. Second, since organizational culture showed statistically significant effect on organizational effectiveness, Hypothesis 2 was adopted. Third, the innovation activity, which is hypothesis 3, was analyzed to have a positive influence on organizational effectiveness. Therefore, hypothesis 3 was accepted. Fourth, the innovation activity, hypothesis 4, showed a mediating effect between organizational culture and organizational effectiveness. As shown in the results of this study, it is indicated that organizations should improve organizational effectiveness for growth and development through the advancement of the sustainability management system in the rapidly changing business environment. To this end, it was necessary to systematically build and activate an organizational culture and innovation activities suitable for the characteristics of the organization. In other words, organizational effectiveness can be improved when constructing and implementing advanced innovation activities based on measures to revitalize organizational culture according to changes in the business environment.

Innovation has been considered not only an important factor for creating and maintaining the competitiveness of nations but also a key determinant of enterprises performance in over the world. Innovation is the process by which an enterprise develops new products, services, processes or management systems to meet requirements due to the change of business environment, technology. The results of implementing innovation increase capacity of the business, thereby helping the business to develop sustainably in the face of market trends and competition from competitors. This paper aims to explore the current status of innovation activities as well as proposes solutions to develop innovation activities for Vietnamese enterprises. The proposed solutions in this study paper create a premise to improve the competitiveness and sustainable growth of enterprises in the context of deeper and more comprehensive international economic integration.

일반적으로 기술혁신전략이 먼저 수립되고 이를 바탕으로 기술혁신활동이 수행된다. 기존 기술혁신관리 프로세스 연구에서는 기술혁신활동이 순차적 혹은 비선형적으로 존재하거나 선형성을 나타내지만, 특정 기술혁신활동이 특정 시점에 나타나고 없어질 수 있다고 주장한다. 본 연구는 휴대폰 시장이 피처폰 중심에서 스마트폰 중심으로 재편된 최근 10년간 상황에서 스마트폰 산업을 대상으로 기술혁신활동의 실행패턴이 어떻게 진행되는지 분석하고, 이러한 실행패턴과 기술혁신전략이 어떠한 맥락에서 동작하는지 규명한다. 실증분석결과, 기술혁신활동은 기술혁신전략에 따라 시작 시점이 다르고, 다층적 기술혁신활동의 형태로 나타난다는 것을 확인했다. 기술혁신활동은 일정한 패턴이 존재하지만, 외부환경 변화로 기술혁신전략의 변화가 생겼을 경우에는 기술혁신활동의 단계에 대한 중요도가 달라져 앞선 기술혁신활동이 생략된다는 것을 확인했다. 혁신자 전략을 추구하는 기업이 빠른 외부환경 변화에 적응하지 못하고 미흡한 기술혁신활동을 했을 경우 기술혁신전략의 변경을 요구받게 되고 이것은 기업의 생존에 막대한 영향을 끼친다는 것을 확인했다.

Six sigma innovation activities have been deployed in the engineering, management, and R&D sectors in an aerospace production company. For the success of total innovation, the company realized that it is necessary to involve the field workers in the six sigma innovation activities. In this paper small group activities in the aerospace production company is introduced. The implementation system, project evaluation and compensation system, and future directions are presented.

Purposes: This study explored the difference analysis of financial performance and technological innovation according to the ESG management activities of healthcare companies based on the time before and after the mandatory ESG management reporting of listed Chinese healthcare companies in China. Methodology: This study collected ESG management activities, corporate financial performance, and technological innovation data of Chinese listed healthcare companies by using Bloomberg Database and China-listed company reports to collect data for analyzing differences between groups through T-test. Findings: ESG activities in the healthcare industry have a certain impact on corporate financial performance, but have no impact on corporate technological innovation. Like the world trend, the ESG activities and financial results of China's healthcare industry have shown a positive development direction in recent years, and ESG scores are rising. Practical Implication: Since 2018, ESG activities in China's healthcare industry have flourished, and ESG activities and financial performance have developed in a positive direction.

This is an exploratory study on facilitators, impediments and their priorities of firm innovation activities regarding the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This study adopted an inductive method to explore the properties and contents of the facilitators and impediments. 10 main factors and 30 sub-factors (15 facilitators, 15 impediments) were extracted through the Delphi survey. The highest priority goes to the factor of executive-level officers' minds and future strategies. By examining the properties and contents of 15 facilitators and 15 impediments of innovation activities, this study notices that the most factors are related to the prior stage of innovation. It indicates that each firms' innovation activities regarding the Fourth Industrial Revolution is not about the managing problems in (or of) innovation process, but closely associated with the degree of whether they are willing to be engaged with their innovation activities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In addition, this study proposes that the relationship between each firms' innovation activities on existing market/business and the new market/business regarding the Fourth Industrial Revolution can be predicted as a dynamic reverse one. 15 facilitators and 15 impediments can influence two types of innovation activities. Finally, this study suggests that through priorities of facilitators and impediments, leadership and future strategies, culture and organization, and (human) resource acquisition are the prioritized areas for a further study of innovation activities.

It goes without saying that the technology innovation plays an important role in the sustainable growth of the firm in the global economy. It, however, is not easy to fulfill this simple and obvious fact. Because there are a lot of barriers hindering innovation activities of firms and innovations are interrupted or don't even attempts by this barriers. So in this paper, I study barriers of firms that try to innovation and how much negative impact exist on firm's innovation performance by that. And also I try to find influence on firm's performance because of declined innovation activities. To prove this, KIS(Korean Innovation Survey) 2008, which was surveyed by STEPI(Science and Technology Policy Institute), is used to find relationships among variables; innovation barriers, innovation activities and firm's performance. In the result, I find that financial barrier influence negatively to the process innovation with small business, capable barrier influence negatively to the process innovation with large business and organizational barrier influence negatively to the process innovation with both small and large business. And, it also appear that organizational barrier has not moderating effect but process efficiency has moderating effect significantly with small business that have more positive effect.

과거에 비해 기술의 급속한 발전으로 인해 기업들은 혁신을 하지 않으면 치열한 경쟁환경하에서 살아남기가 어려워지고 있다. 기업이 혁신활동을 전개하기 위해서는 새로운 지식을 찾고 이를 소화하고 자신만의 기술역량을 확보하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 탐험활동과 활용활동, 기술혁신역량, 혁신성과(기술성과, 제품성과), 흡수역량, 혁신강도간의 인과관계를 파악하였다. 분석결과, 탐험 및 활용 활동은 기술혁신역량에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 기술혁신역량, 흡수역량, 혁신강도는 혁신성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 흡수역량과 혁신강도는 기술혁신역량과 혁신성과간에 매개역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 기업에서 혁신활동을 기획하거나 수행시에 유용한 가이드라인으로 활용이 가능할 것으로 보인다.

지난 수년간 서비스 산업은 빠르게 성장해 왔으며, 현재도 그 성장가능성이 매우 높다. 때문에 서비스 산업의 생산성 및 혁신활동이 국가경제발전의 중요한 요소로 관심을 받기 시작하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 제조분야에서의 혁신과 관련된 연구들은 활발히 이루어진 것과 달리, 서비스 산업에서의 혁신 활동의 특성에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 부족하였다. 특히, 서비스 혁신은 서비스에 따라 상이하게 나타날 수 있기 때문에 이에 대한 연구가 반드시 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 서비스 유형별 혁신활동의 특성을 비교 및 분석하는 것을 그 목적으로 하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 첫째, 과학기술정책연구원(STEPI)의 기술혁신조사(KIS) 서비스업 분야 데이터를 활용한다. 둘째, 서비스의 고객화 정도와 설비의 중요도를 기준으로 서비스의 유형화를 수행한다. 셋째, 각 서비스 유형별 혁신활동의 특성을 혁신활동의 투입, 프로세스, 산출의 관점에서 분석한다. 연구 결과, 각 서비스 유형은 고유의 혁신활동 패턴을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 서비스 유형의 특성에 대한 가치 있는 정보를 제공함으로써 서비스 분야에서의 혁신활동에 대한 추후 연구를 위한 기초적인 자료를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
