심리적 임파워먼트가 물리치료사의 행동에 미치는 역할 (Roles of Psychological Empowerment on Physical Therapist behaviors)

  • Purposes: Despite a lot of prior studies on psychological empowerment on positive outcomes, the objectives of this paper were to examine the role of psychological empowerment on informal learning and the mediation role of informal learning between psychological empowerment and outcome variables focused upon physical therapists working in hospital industry. Methodology: Using survey methods, the data were collected from 198 physical therapists who have worked in Ulsan city and attended in annual meeting. Findings: Results showed that psychological empowerment predicted informal learning positively but differences in mediational mechanism. Specifically, the path between psychological empowerment and proactive behavior partially mediated but no mediating effect between psychological empowerment and helping behavior. This study identified the main role of psychological empowerment on informal learning, and it expands on positive functions of the concept to learning area in organizations. The other results help advanced understanding of differential mechanism through informal learning in the process between psychological empowerment and both outcomes. Practical Implications: The current study contributes to expend the area of prior findings on psychological empowerment to learning activities implemented by individual volunteer effort. For hospitals operating the teams of physical therapy, the significance for considering psychological empowerment is highlighted as for individual growth related to job and for change behavior in the individual level.

  • 웹 기반 교육 환경에서 학습자 특성에 따른 개별 적응적인 피드백 제공의 필요성에도 불구하고 학습자 특성의 변인 도출의 어려움과 이를 위한 체계적인 전략과 실천 도구 개발이 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 웹 기반 교수 학습 환경에서 중요시되고 있는 학습자 특성 변인 중에서 학습자의 학습 패턴을 Apriori 알고리즘을 이용하여 분석하고, 유사한 학습 패턴을 갖는 학습자들로 그룹화 하였다. 이를 기반으로 학습자 개인에게 학습 콘텐츠, 학습 경로, 학습 상황 등을 제공하기 위한 e-SRM 피드백 시스템을 설계하고 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 학습자 특성에 맞는 최적의 학습 환경을 제공해 줄 수 있는 기반을 조성할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Adaptation in dynamic environments gains a significant advantage by combining evolution and learning. We propose an on-line, realtime evolutionary learning mechanism to determine the structure and the synaptic weights of a neural network controller for mobile robot navigations. We support our method, based on (1+1) evolutionary strategy, which produces changes during the lifetime of an individual to increase the adaptability of the individual itself, with a set of experiments on evolutionary neural controller for physical robots behaviors.

Audit Socialization and Professional Success: Evidence from Thailand

  • The objective of this study is to examine the effects of audit socialization and professional commitment on professional success of tax auditors in Thailand through individual learning as the moderator. The specific research questions are: (1) How audit socialization affects professional commitment, (2) How professional commitment influences professional success, and (3) How individual learning moderates the audit socialization-professional commitment relationships, the audit socialization-professional success relationships, and the professional commitment-professional success relationships. This study collected data from 249 tax auditors in Thailand by using questionnaire. To investigate the research relationships, both structural equation model and multiple regression analysis are implemented. Within the research results, audit socialization has a significant positive effect on professional commitment and professional success while professional commitment has an important positive influence on professional success. Similarly, individual learning positively moderates the professional commitment-professional success relationships. In summary, audit socialization is important for auditing professions and it is a key determinant of professional success. Thus, auditors need to pay attention to audit socialization through learning and understanding it and applying its concepts to audit works to increase auditors' professional success, continuous survival and long-term sustainability.

초등학교 과학 수업에 적용한 협동학습 전략에서 보상구조의 효과 (The Effects of Reward Structure in Cooperative Learning Strategies Applied to Elementary School Science Class)

  • Although the reward based on group accomplishment in cooperative learning has a merit to emphasize interdependency, it may have some undesirable side effects such as free rider effect and sucker effect. For the purpose of reducing these side effects, this study examined how the adjustment of the reward structure affected the scholastic achievement, the perception of learning environments, and the attitude toward science class by adding individual reward to group reward. We selected 2 classes of sixth grade in an elementary school, and taught on oxygen and carbon dioxide for 13 class hours in cooperative learning strategies. Group reward was applied to one class, and both group and individual rewards were applied to the other class. Analysis of the results indicated that the achievement scores of the students under the group and individual rewards were significantly higher than those under the group reward. In addition, they had more difficulty in science class and felt less satisfied. The upper level students under the group and individual rewards were also found to exhibit more competition. Educational implications were discussed.

귀인상담과 능력별 예습과제의 활용을 통한 귀인성향의 변화가 수학학습 능력에 미치는 효과 (Scholastic Improvement in Mathematics Learning resulting from Changes in Attribution through Structural Preparations by Counseling and Assignment Projects suitable for an individuals′ ability)

  • For the purpose of turning learners' locus of control into internal-controllable variables, counseling materials were developed, and attribution counseling was given. The counseling effects were practically confirmed by way of teaching and evaluation in the actual classes, and furthermore the efforts to provide learners with successful experiences in learning were repeatedly made. As a result, the conclusions are as follows: 1. The procedure of Individual counseling for learning attribution based on individual standard grades and data of the variable order of merit apparently shows learners that if learners are to try their best in learning, they will surely go far in terms of learning in the near future. 2. The procedure of Individual counseling for teaming attribution based on achievement distribution in individual behavior-oriented fields suggests to learners that how to learn is as important as how much effort they make. Surely enough, learners are required to make more effective and efficient efforts, considering their own learning abilities. 3. With the above 1, 2 procedures involved, learners have attributed locus of causality in achievement to their internal-controllable causes. 4. With preparatory assignments according to learner's abilities provided, even slower learners came to be assured that their constant efforts could give rise to success in learning achievement. 5. Above all, it was confirmed that the learners' struggling attitude might well have a significant correlation with achievement success. The learners who are willing to attribute locus of causality in achievement to their internal-controllable causes or strenuous efforts and intrinsic motivation tend to be convinced that they can address themselves to whatever faces them, so they can set up specific learning goals fit for their abilities. Accordingly, they will bit by bit acquire successful experiences (often called 'Aha' experiences) and in turn, feeling the senses of self-efficacy and self-esteem enough to push their efforts even further, they can grow to form a positive self-concept. With one successful experience after another fed back into learners, they are gradually motivated to bring the oncoming achievement expectation to a higher level. To conclude, it is necessary that instruction leading to internal-controllable attribution should be provided, inducing learners to recognize success and failure in learning achievement as a result of their strenuous efforts.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 개인의 학습 자기효능과 기업의 혁신적 지식전달과 같은 학습전이풍토가 디자이너의 특성을 고려한 디자인 역량강화교육과 개인성과와의 관계에서 매개역할을 할 것이라는 가설을 증명하는 것에 있다. 이는 단순히 교육의 만족도를 조사하는 기존의 연구와는 달리 디자이너의 특성에 근거한 학습 자기효능감과 디자이너가 조직의 문화에 영향을 주는 학습전이 풍토에 대한 정량적 분석을 하여 디자인 교육훈련의 의미를 확장하는데 의의가 있다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 7개의 가설을 설정하였고, 그 결과 디자이너 대상 디자인 역량강화 교육과 학습 자기효능감, 기업의 학습전이풍토는 개인성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

학습 장애아 진단 도구로 기초 학습 기능 검사의 유용성에 관한 연구 (A USEFULNESS OF KEDI-INDIVIDUAL BASIC LEARNING SKILLS TEST AS A DIAGNOSTIC TOOL OF LEARNING DISORDERS)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학습 장애를 진단하는데 있어 성취도 검사인 기초학습기능검사의 유용성을 살펴보는 것이다. 학습 장애 집단은 두 유형으로 나누어 언어적 학습 장애 집단(VLD:Verbal Learning Disorder) 34명, 비언어적 학습 장애 집단(NVLD:Nonverbal Learning Disorder) 14명으로 총 48명으로 구성되었으며, 비교 집단으로는 Dysthymia 집단 11명, 정상아 20명을 대상으로 지능 검사 및 기초학습 기능검사의 수행을 비교하였다. 지능 검사에서 VLD집단은 어휘력 및 언어를 통한 학습 과제, 언어-청각적인 주의과제에서 의미있는 저하를 나타내었고, NVLD 집단은 시-지각의 정확도, 정신-운동성 기능의 협응 속도, 시각-공각적인 조직력 등 동작성 기능 전반에 걸쳐 비효율성을 나타내었다. 기초학습기능검사에서는 VLD 집단은 음운 부호화과제, 셈하기 능력, 단어 재인 과제에서 의미있는 저하를 나타내었다. 또한 지능 검사의 소검사들에 기초학습기능검사의 소검사들을 포함하여 판별 분석을 한 결과, 기초학습기능검사를 포함시키지 않은 경우보다 판별율이 높아졌을 뿐 아니라, VLD집단을 유의미하게 판별해 주는 판별 함수를 도출하였다. 각 소검사들의 속성을 분석하기 위하여 요인 분석을 실시하였으며 이를 통하여 소검사들을 유목화하였으며 마지막으로 현 논문의 제한점 및 기초학습기능검사의 제한점을 논의하였다.

비행교관의 변혁적 리더십이 학생조종사의 심리적 안정감과 학업만족에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Flight Instructor's Transformative Leaderships on Student Pilot's Psychological Stabilities and Learning Satisfactions)

  • This research is accomplished to verify objectively how flight instructor's transformative leadership affects student pilot's psychological stabilities and learning satisfactions. Flight instructor's transformative leadership factor divided into individual consideration, intellectual stimulus and charisma from exploring factor analysis. Psychological stability factor subdivided into happiness, concentration and satisfaction. Learning satisfaction factor subdivided into participation, recommendation, persistence, accomplishment and relationship. According to the analysis of flight instructor's transformative leadership effect on psychological stability, it showed that it has statistical significance on happiness, concentration and satisfaction. It also has positive influence on happiness and concentration. The result from regression analysis showed that individual consideration and charisma affected happiness and concentration in order. However, satisfaction from individual consideration, intellectual stimulus and charisma didn't show statistical significance to student pilot's satisfaction. Analysis of flight instructor's transformative leadership on student pilot's learning satisfaction showed statistical significance between them. Intellectual stimulus and charisma had positive influence on student pilot's learning satisfaction. Regression analysis showed charisma and intellectual affect student pilot's learning satisfaction in order.

기업 내 e-learning 학습 환경에서 학습양식, 튜터기능, 학습성취도의 상관관계 (Interrelation among Learning Style, Tutoring Function, and Learning Achievement in an Enterprise e-learning Environment)

  • It is believed that each learner has a preferred method to acquire and manage knowledge according to her/his learning style which influences learning achievement directly. The purpose of this paper is to statistically analyze relationships among individual learning styles, tutoring functions, and learning achievement in an e-learning environment. 524 survey results from participants of enterprise e-learning classes are classified into total group and superior group. T-Test and ANOVA analyses are carried between learning style and learning achievement and between learning style and preferred tutoring functions. The analysis results show that individual learning styles do not contribute to learning achievement while they are strongly related to preferences for some of tutoring functions. These results can be used to identify limitation of current e-learning practice and design better e-learning systems, especially, supporting appropriate tutoring functions for different types of learners.
