예비 환경교사의 교수 내용 지식(PCK)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pedagogical Content Knowledge In Pre-Service Environment Teacher)

  • In this study, we discuss pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of pre-service environment teachers since PCK is one of the most important professional competencies for teachers. In Republic of Korea, environmental education is taught as an independent subject in middle and high schools. Thus, pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of environment teachers plays an important role for quality EE at schools. The purpose of this study is to find out the PCK(Pedagogical Content Knowledge) of pre-service environment teachers. Researchers collected and analyzed data from four environmental education department. Study method used a questionnaire for eighty-two pre-service environment teachers. The study results are as follows. Seven part of PCK(Knowledge of Instructional Strategies, Knowledge of Representation, Knowledge of Subject Matter, Knowledge of Evaluation, Knowledge of Students, Knowledge of Curriculum, Knowledge of Environmental Context) exists the significant difference in pre-service environment teachers. The highest part is the Knowledge of Environmental Context and the lowest part is the Knowledge of Evaluation in pre-service teachers. So the curriculum of environmental education department will be changing that emphasize the Knowledge of Evaluation and the Knowledge of Students.

새로운 ICT 기반 서비스에 대한 연구 : N-디바이스 스마트교육 서비스를 중심으로 (A Study on the novel ICT baced Services : Focused on N-Device Smart Education Services)

  • A novel concept of ICT based service, which is called N-device service, is proposed and implemented in the form of N-device smart education services. The N-device services are different from the existing N-screen services in terms of the number of devices a user is using for a specific service at the same time. A N-device service consists of several smart devices which are different in size, software and hardware platform, mobility, manufacturer and the like by fully utilizing the characteristic of each device. The major and unique features of N-device services are analyzed and depicted in a strict way. Those are shared role for each device, service by configurable device, one sensor multiple use, real-time data sharing, role shifting and new market creation. It is turned out that the N-device service is more human centric compared with existing ICT based services and can give richer digital experience to users because non-existent services become possible with the new concept. However, there exist several barriers to be implemented and commercialized in the real world. Those include high development cost and time, small market and different application platforms of devices. These barriers can be overcome by technical advances and cooperation between relevant parties. The smart education is very prominent area, in which the novel concept can be applied with high priority because Korean government announced its plan to boost up new educational services with big budget and these are acceptable by enthusiastic Korean parents and students. That's why the N-device service is implemented in the education area, which is called as "livessam(live teacher)," with four smart devices, IPTV, tablet PC, PC and smart phone. By providing both detailed service scenario and techniques, we shows that the novel education service is technically feasible and acceptable by teachers and students.

The influence of pre-service early childhood teachers' civic awareness on their ability to teach democratic citizenship education: The mediating role of multicultural beliefs

  • This study aims to investigate the impact of pre-service early childhood teachers' civic awareness and multicultural beliefs on their ability to teach democratic citizenship education and to verify the mediating effect of multicultural beliefs in the relationship between civic awareness and the ability to teach democratic citizenship education. The subjects of the study were 226 pre-service early childhood teachers, and a survey was conducted. As a result of the study, first, the civic awareness of pre-service early childhood teachers influenced the ability to teach democratic citizenship education, and the influence of the sub-variables of civic awareness was in the order of rights awareness, responsibility, community awareness, and rational decision-making awareness. Second, the multicultural beliefs of pre-service early childhood teachers also affected the ability to teach democratic citizenship education, and multicultural understanding had the strongest influence among the sub-variables of multicultural beliefs. Thirdly, we found that multicultural beliefs partially mediated the relationship between civic awareness and the ability to teach democratic citizenship education. Additionally, the results highlight the importance of educational interventions targeting multicultural beliefs, as they partially mediate the relationship between civic awareness and the ability to teach democratic citizenship education.

대학 소비자교육 교양강좌의 실태조사와 요구도 조사를 통한 교과모형개발 (A Development of Consumer General Education Program for University Students through Assessment of Need and Actual Condition)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a meaningful thought to professionals and administrators of Korea working for Consumer General Education development at their Universities. Also, tips for organizing and meaning Consumer General Education Curriculum effectively are provided. Finally, the study suggests essential elements to improve qualities of Consumer General Education in Korea Universities. This study's method are content analysis through web site and survey. The subjects of this survey were 257 students. The data were collected by questionnaire developed by researcher and analyzed by frequencies, correlation Analysis, One Way Anova, Duncan Test, Factor Analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings were as follows: University students's satisfaction level about General Education was low and the needs level about Consumer General Education was high. And the education service quality showed factors to be administrative service element, professor service element, classroom environment element, communication element. And Multiple Regression Analysis on each of the education service quality factors had been significant effects for find out the differences in the degree of satisfaction.

현직교사 교육과 예비교사 교육의 연계를 통한 산파법 관점에서의 모의수업 실행 사례 (Performing an Instructional Simulation Using a Socrates' Method by the Connection of In-Service Teachers Education and Pre-Service Teachers Education)

  • 수학교사 교육에서는 수학교육의 이론 지도 못지않게 교사의 수업 역량 개발을 위한 교육도 충실하게 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구는 프로이덴탈(Freudenthal), 폴리아(Polya)등 현대 수학교육자들이 주목한 수학 학습 지도의 전형으로서 오늘날 수학 교육에 적지 않은 시사점을 주고 있는 소크라테스(Socrates)의 '산파법'을 주제로 하여 사범대학의 예비교사 교육 과정에서 수학 모의수업 실행을 지도한 것이다. 수학을 지도하는 예비교사들의 수업 실기 능력과 수업 연구 능력을 더욱 강화하기 위해 현직교사들의 활동 자료를 연계한 교육을 실시하였다. 현직교사들의 사고실험 예시를 통해, 예비교사들이 수학-학습 지도에 관한 자신들의 제한된 지식과 경험을 확장할 수 있도록 안내하였다. 좋은 수학 수업을 위한 교사 교육, 반성적 사고를 돕는 교사 교육, 교사 공동체 연구를 보조하는 교사 교육을 꾀한 연구과정에서 얻은 결과를 분석하여 앞으로 예비교사 교육에서 더욱 관심을 두고 지도해야 할 사항에 대해 살펴보았다.

수학 예비교사의 가상 수업 시연의 특징 및 동료 예비교사의 평가 (Analysis on the peer assessment results and the attributes of mathematics pre-service teachers' virtual instruction)

  • In this study, 27 pre-service teachers presented virtual mathematics instruction to develop his/her own teaching practice ability. I found several attributes in their virtual mathematics instruction such as connecting contents, asking justification, encouraging students' communication, representing variously, and using ICT etc. These will be the characteristics of the future mathematics class. When peer pre-service teachers assess presenter's instruction quantitatively, there are differences in the results between expert and pre-service teachers. Pre-service teachers didn't find the elements of student self assessment or group assessment and communication activities at the virtual instruction. When they assess peers' virtual instruction qualitatively, the results are specific or new ones compared with the quantitative assessment elements. Thus I suggested some implications for the mathematics pre-service teachers' virtual instruction in the view of teacher education.

Blue Print와 신뢰성 기법을 혼합한 고객만족도 향상에 관한 연구: 교육서비스 사례 (Customer Satisfaction Improvement by Combining the Blue Print and Reliability Technique: Education Service Case Study)

  • This paper applied the Blue Print and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) to education service in order to raise the education service satisfaction. First, the Blue Print is deployed to come up with strategies to overcome the fail possibility point and waiting point. Next, in order to analyze the fail factors and alternative strategies, the Blue Print of education service is applied to FMEA. The results are as follows; first, the ommission from information document by web-mail or e-mail, Second, thing that selected in spite of company uneducated, thing that omitted despite the company is target, and the unsatisfaction of attendee about training contents. Third, the delay of counsel at the telephone reply, erroneous list of course name and attendee at HRD (Human Resource Development), omission of check whether attends or not. Except for unsatisfaction of attendee, all appears at the process that service delivered. And the unsatisfaction of attendee is about education contents. Both is the factor which have influence on the education service quality. The strategies to remove the failure mode are training and manual development on service and work, a thorough management and check of information system like as ERP (Enterprise Resoure Planning), HRD, education institution list DB (Data Base), on-line application system, a development of education program to offer best education that reflect the user needs and continuously changing environment.

관심기반수용모형을 활용한 초등 예비교사의 소프트웨어 교육 관심도 분석 (Analysis of Elementary Pre-service Teachers' Concern on Software Education Using the Concerns-Based Adoption Model)

  • 본 연구는 관심기반수용모형을 적용하여 초등 예비교사들의 SW 교육에 대한 관심도를 분석하고, 예비교사교육에서 고려해야 할 시사점들을 모색하고자 하였다. 4학년 예비교사 137명을 대상으로 관심단계설문지를 활용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 초등 예비교사의 SW 교육에 대한 관심은 지각 단계의 상대적 강도가 가장 높고, 결과 단계의 상대적 강도가 가장 낮은 패턴을 보여서 '비사용자' 수준인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 SW 교육의 영향 중 결과 단계보다 협력과 재초점 단계에 대해 다소 더 관심을 보이는 '긍정적 비사용자'의 성향이 나타났다. 초등 예비교사의 SW 교육에 대한 관심에 있어서 성에 따른 유의미한 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 이와 비교할 때, 예비교사의 프로그래밍 수준에 따라서는 지각, 개인, 결과와 협력 단계에서 유의미한 차이가 발견되었다. 연구결과에 기초하여, 예비교사를 대상으로 한 SW 교육에서 개선해야 할 사항들을 관련 정보 제공과 프로그래밍 역량 신장의 측면에서 제안하였다.

묽은 용액의 성질에 대한 화학전공 예비교사들의 이해 및 화학교사 양성교육에 대한 인식 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Chemistry Major Pre-service Teacher's Understanding about the Properties of Dilute Solutions and Perception on Teacher Education Curriculum)

  • 이 연구에서는 화학교육을 전공하는 4명의 예비교사들과 화학을 전공한 2명의 예비교사들을 대상으로 고등학교 화학II 교과서에 제시된 "묽은 용액의 성질" 단원에 관련된 개념의 이해를 비교하였다. 연구결과, 예비교사들 중에 고등학교 화학II 교과서에 제시된 내용을 깊이 있게 이해하는 예비교사들이 많지 않았으며, 묽은 용액의 성질에 관련된 오개념을 가지고 있는 경우도 나타났다. 그리고 사범대학에서 화학교육을 전공한 예비교사들의 이해수준과 비사범대학에서 화학을 전공한 예비교사들의 이해수준은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 연구에 참여한 대부분의 예비교사들은 대학과 상관없이 그들의 예비교사 교육과정에서 실천적 지식이 부족하다고 느끼고 있었다.
