The problems like exceeding estimated cost, late due-date, expensive maintenance, insuffiency of experts and low productivity are becoming emphasized related with the software development. In order to overcome these problems and to develop the highly qualified software within the limited resources, a project management tool is used. The purpose of this study is to develop a conceptual model of the project management system which can plan, analyze and control the software development projects effectively. The model is constructed with plan and track management system, cost management system and operation management system for the efficient project management. It is named by LSD-PMS : Large-scale Software Development Project Management System. We reviewed 5 cases of project management. LSD-PMS is evaluated and reviewed by the project managers in the field. It is proved that LSD-PMS is a tool which can help project managers develop software successfully given budget and time schedule. In the future, this system should be further developed as an integrated model with system implementation tools such as CASE products.

In railway business plan, operations require a strategic and sustained level of planned investment to ensure assets are fit for purpose over the whole of their planned life. Therefore it is essential that operator can confidently plan and predict capital investment requirements over a number of years. This research addresses that how the London Underground apply a systematic risk based approach to their health and safety planning and investment decision making. Through this case study, we investigate the elements of management system that includes arrangements for the ongoing identification of hazards, assessment of risks and the implementation necessary control measures. Risk based business planning processes are also addressed.

In order to improve water quality in drinking water sources, Ministry of Environment (MOE) was implemented total water pollution load management (TWPLM) in all the major river basins. From the experience of the application of TWPLM, we could find some problems relating the target watershed, standard operating procedure (SOP) of establishment and implementation plan, water quality and flow rate, design flow, water quality model, margin of safety (MOS), and estimation of wasteload were found. The authors were reviewed ongoing TWPLM and presented the improvement schemes for a successful TWPLM. For the application of these suggestions, further detailed studies should be done to implement TWPLM in the future.

Despite there have been m?my studies about the relationships between congestions and satisfaction in outdoor recreation field, the results indicated only weak impacts of congestions on the satisfaction. This study thus aims to investigate the influence of waiting situation on the whole valuation and satisfaction of guests at theme parks using new variables such as 'goal attainment' and then to suggest implications for waiting management. This study shows meaningful theoretical implications. First, congestion influences the satisfaction more strongly when it prevents guests from achieving their plan. Second, management of waiting time is important and the can be controlled well. When guests have something interested during the waiting time, they were satisfied with the quality of waiting time and overall experience in the theme park.

When the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of an development project is performed, the noise prediction model is used to evaluate the noise impact and prepare the noise reduction measures according to the implementation of an development project. Especially, the application of a 3-d noise prediction model is increased to describe the complex noise environment including high-rise living accommodations. Therefore, this paper suggests the application plan of a 3-d noise predicton model for the road noise impact assessment of a development project.

Since the KTX start its service on April 1st of 2004, KTX increased its share up to 17.4% (2008). It's the 2nd after the passenger car share of 59.2% in the national transportation, but the gap is still wide. In addition, because of the rise of goods' and oil price, the share of intercity express bus is growing up. Nevertheless Korail is trying to improve the train schedule and develop internodal transit system, the number of passengers of KTX is remain flat. The purpose of this study is to seek the revitalization plans of export platform for supporting export enterprise of the domestic public services. To activate the export platform, alternatives to two aspects are required as follows. First of all, a governance plan of export platform should be established. At present, an operation entity of export platform, which is still developing stage, is not yet established. In this situation, even though export platform developed, it will faced with inefficient operation. Therefore, an operation entity and appropriate business model are important to the platform activation. second, to activate platform, it is necessary to support export process of life cycle. In particular, the service, which can support the business strategies setting and project implementation stage, is required. In addition, in order to activate the export platform is need to operate with he government's support program.

Currently, there are two major problems in professional engineer(PE) licensure system in Korea to be accredited internationally. One is a incompleteness of system connecting the licensure and the accredited engineering education program and the other one is a insufficient working experience condition required for achieving PE license. Therefore, these two problems are setbacks hindering Korea's PE license accredited internationally. In this study, international tendency stream on mutual accreditation of PE license are reviewed first, and the PE licensure system of the major countries are compared and analyzed. Based on the results, requirements improvement plan are suggested and the gradual implementation method are suggested also.
