Design of Learning Fuzzy Controller by the Self-Tuning Algorithm for Equipment Systems (설비시스템을 위한 자기동조기법에 의한 학습 FUZZY 제어기 설계)

  • This paper deals with design method of learning fuzzy controller for control of an unknown nonlinear plant using the self-tuning algorithm of fuzzy inference rules. In this method the fuzzy identification model obtained that the joined identification model of nonlinear part and linear identification model of linear part by fuzzy inference systems. This fuzzy identification model ordered self-tuning by Decent method so as to be servile to nonlinear plant. A the end, designed learning fuzzy controller of fuzzy identification model have learning structure to model reference adaptive system. The simulation results show that th suggested identification and learning control schemes are practically feasible and effective.

  • The increasing use of non-linear loads such as power electronics draw highly distorted currents from the utility system. High harmonics currents and voltages will cause equipment damage and disturb the plant operation. The common solution to harmonics problem is to use harmonics filters. In this paper simulation results used the EDSA harmonics analysis program verifying the effects of the single-tuned filter for harmonic elimination are presented.

  • When the large-capacity Mold type Transformer was passed through rain, after it was dried and it's parts were changed, Insulation Diagnosis was made to evaluate the condition of it and decide to recharge. Using the evaluation of Insulation Diagnosis, the urgent decision-making for recharge made blackout time minimum. In this study, it was considered that Insulation Diagnosis for the large-capacity Mold type Transformer is applied to decision-making for reuse of high voltage electric power equipment by analysis of the case study.

  • A conductor has been produced according to IEC standard and low voltage electrical facility has been installed according to IEC 60364. But because of many related and varied standards, it is difficult to apply to design and inspect for electrical equipment. We researched the necessity of design guide which is detailed and systematization from survey. For detailed design guide, we suggest application method and review items at calculations for voltage drop calculations on low voltage feeder by IEC 60364, BS 7671 standard and Consumer's Electrical Installation Guide.

  • In this paper, potential distribution analysis through the six kinds of case studies examined in the environmental conditions change within a limited space, by the power supply system installed. To interpret the potential distribution using electromagnetic field analysis program and the parameters were state of the ground, the outer wall of the configuration state and the presence of human potential distribution was simulated. Potential distribution analysis, the size of nominal voltage, depending on the impedance of human body to be determined on the impact of surprise decision, but if equipped with appropriate protective equipment can be protected from lightning have been confirmed.

  • As automation equipment and electronic device progresses, the importance of power quality is more increasing. This paper represents the analysis and suppression about the causes of trouble by the inverter's ON/OFF noise in plant in order to prevent damage resulting in a secondary damage to conduct precise diagnosis and effective noise reduction. The countermeasure as a reduced carrier frequency and the LC resonant filter had been applied and confirmed the effective results to solve the trouble of noise.

  • Fire-hited electrical equipment has possibility of deterioration. So its replacement is essential in terms of safety. However, the economic burden is increased. Therefore, the replacement or re-use of it is to be determined by tests. But the research of Integrity Assessment on Fire-hited electrical equipments is very rare. In this paper, we tested to determine the replacement or re-use of Fire-hited vacuum circuit breaker. And provided the data for the integrity assessment through the analysis of its deterioration.

  • To minimize the financial loss due to power facility malfunction, on-line diagnostic techniques are required to grasp any abnormal state of facilities in the live line as well as devices to diagnose abnormal states of power facility in an easy and prompt manner. This study aims to develop a portable UV detecting system by means of UV sensors for easier and efficient inspection of the degradation state of power facility in a long distance. Accordingly, it includes a simulation of corona discharges that may occur due to degradation of power facility and detection of ultraviolet pulse generation depending on the corona discharge intensity and measuring distance in application of UV sensors. Additionally, the optimal algorithm is determined for its application to the system's degradation diagnosis program based on the measured experiment data.

  • The inundation of substation and ground power equipment breaks out every summer season in low-lying downtown areas and low-lying shores by torrential rain, typhoons and tsunamis. It has, in turn, caused replacement, social and economic costs for blackouts. For activity management regarding flood damage we produced a flood protection system which using the Pad transformer as a basic frame and is developed using pneumatic pressure. We tested safety concerns including insulation resistance and current leakage first for water tank flooding and, second, by an empirical test through supplying 22.9[kV]. We estimate that costs associated with flooding and power failure can be diminished by these advances toward creating a more reliable system.

  • An electric potential rise of the grounding electrode developed by the lightning stroke currents should be calculated for the purpose of effective protection of electrical and electronic equipment. In this paper, the electromagnetic model was applied to calculate the harmonic impedance of grounding electrode. Also the empirical equation related to the permittivity and resistivity of soil was used. The lightning current waveforms, which are expressed by the Heidler's equation, were used in order to calculate accurately transient electric potential rises. The transient voltage was obtained by using the simulated harmonic impedance and the lightning current in frequency domain. Finally, the transient voltages of horizontal grounding electrode(10m) under lightning stroke currents were calculated by IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform).
