공공도서관 정체성의 혼란과 극복방안 (Confusion and Overcoming Plans of the Public Library Identity in Korea)

  • 모든 공공도서관의 본질적 정체성은 당대 및 후대의 통시적 접근 이용을 보장하는 지식정보센터이다. 그럼에도 최근에 평생학습 산실, 문화활동 거점, 정보게이트웨이, 커뮤니티센터, 지방공공재, 정보공통체, 민주주의 요람, 제2의 거실 등으로 회자되면서 공공도서관의 정체성이 요동치고 있다. 이에 각종 관계법령, 지방행정기구, 정부 통계자료를 분석하여 정체성 혼란의 실상과 증거를 제시한 후에 공공도서관 정체성 혼란의 극복방안을 제안하였다. 차제에 공공도서관이 지식정보센터를 기반으로 지역문화 향유 확산을 위한 베이스캠프로 정립되려면 집단주의, 귀속주의, 편의주의를 경계해야 한다.

자기개발 훈련이 수간호사의 자아정체감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-Development training on the self-identity of the head nurses)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was examine the effects of Self-Development training on the Self-Identity for head nurses. Methods : The sample consisted of 24 head nurses in one university hospital in Seoul. The subjects were divided into two groups for the training. Self-Development training was developed by the researcher for during 4 sessions in two weeks that is, 2 hours a day/ 2 times a weeks / two weeks / each group. Self-Development training program consists of identification of self-development elements, self-identification I, self-identification II, and human relationship. Two-weeks before and 4-weeks after the training, subjects completed the questionnaires. Analysis was done by SPSS PC 10.0 for percentile, mean, standard deviation, paired t-test and correlation. Results : The results of this study showed that the Self-Identity had not significant differences before and after Self-Development Training. When compared 5 subscales, self-assertiveness is significant difference, and goal-directedness has the lowest score before and after training. 11(46%) of head nurses mean scores at the 4 weeks after training were slight higher. Conclusion: On the basis of the finding, the researcher makes the following conclusion. This study is one step towards understanding the impact of Self-Identity for the head nurses. It would be beneficial to replicate this study with larger, more diverse samples.

자기 인용 네트워크와 인용 정체성을 이용한 연구자의 연구 이력 분석에 관한 연구 (Exploring a Researcher's Personal Research History through Self-Citation Network and Citation Identity)

  • 이 연구에서는 연구자의 연구 이력을 분석하기 위해서 White(2000)가 제안한 인용 정체성과 Hellsten 등(2007)이 제안한 자기 인용 네트워크의 두 가지 최신 기법을 비교해보았다. 국내 대표적인 정보학자인 정영미의 연구 성과물을 대상으로 실험적인 분석을 수행해본 결과 두 기법에서 구분한 연구 시기가 동일하게 나뉘었으며 주요 연구 주제도 유사하게 파악되었다. 그러나 인용 정체성 지도에서는 주제영역별로 영향받은 주요 저자를 파악할 수 있는 반면에 자기 인용 네트워크에서는 시기별 핵심 문헌과 선도문헌이 식별되었다. 따라서 이 두 가지 기법을 상호보완적으로 사용할 때 연구자의 연구 이력에 대해서 풍부한 정보를 획득할 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다.

MBTI 프로그램이 치위생과 학생들의 자아정체감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of MBTI based Self Growth Program on Ego Identity in Dental Hygiene Students)

  • The purpose of study was to examine whether a MBTI based self growth program had any effect on improving the ego identity of dental hygiene students. The subjects in this study were first grade and second grade class A,B each 80 persons, total 160 persons. As the measuring instruments, the researcher used Ego Identity scale of Korean style developed by Park, A-Chung. This instrument was administerd twice before and after the program as a pretest and post-test. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANCOVA conducted by spss 12.0 program. The finding of study were as follows: First, there was statistically significant difference on the ego identity between the two groups. Second, there was statistically significant difference on the subjectiveness, the intentionality toward an aim(3.43), initiativeness(3.46), intimateness(3.74) between the two groups. The results of this study suggested that the MBTI based self growth program might serve the ego identity of dental hygiene students and brought inner changes to them. Therefore, the MBTI based self growth program was expected to make a great contribution to the character building of dental hygienist.

The Multicultural Education in Korea: A Comparative Study of Korea & Canada's Multicultural Education

  • Using the observation technique and in-depth interview, the current study compared various aspects of multicultural education between Korea and Canada and suggested the direction Korea's multicultural education needs to take. As a part of class curriculum, the researcher interviewed the representative of Ansan Foreign Center (AFC) and the president of the Kosian's House, a NGO for multicultural educations. The observations and experiences of the researcher were also used in this study. The results of the current study are as follows. First, multicultural education is provided for the minority group in Korea, whereas multiculturalism is included and taught for every student in Canada. In addition, the current multicultural education of Korea focuses on language and culture acquisition to help the students to adjust. Canada, on the other hand, focuses on accepting other cultures and ethnic equality, creating both identities as their ethnic origin and as Canadians. Second, in language educations, both countries had students enrolled in lower school years than their age. However, the differences occurred in terms of emotional support and availability of expert teachers. Third, comparing teacher's attitude towards multicultural education, Korean teachers were not free from perceiving the multicultural student as 'different', whereas Canadian teachers have been taught since little to consider multicultural students as Canadians, but accept their ethnic backgrounds. Based on the results, the current study suggested multicultural education program for the majority group, increase in number of expert language teachers and teaching assistants, and an education program to teach multiculturalism as part of an identity of humankind. The limitations and suggestions for future studies were provided afterwards.

인간관계 효율성 훈련이 간호대학생의 인간관계와 자아정체감에 미치는 효과 (A Study on the Effects of ET Training for the Development of Interpersonal Relationship and Self-Identity)

  • Purpose: This study is to investigate if the effectiveness training program, suggested by Gordon(1970), could help these nursing students with the problems of interpersonal relationship and self-identification. Method: This study was designed using nonequivalent control group protest-posttest design. The subject for this study were thirty nursing students. Fifteen nursing students of the experimental group experienced the Effectiveness Training for 8 weeks (3 hours/week). The effect of Effectiveness Training was measured using Relationship Change Scale devised by Lee, H.D. & Moon, S.M.(1979) and Ego Identity Scale devised by Dignan(1965) which was translated by Seo, B.Y.(1975) Pretest data were collected by the researcher from both experimental and control group before training. After the end of eight weeks training, posttest data collected from both experimental and control group. Samples were analyzed using SPSS PC+. Result: 1. The first hypothesis, "level of interpersonal relationship of the experiment group after 8 weeks will be significantly higher than that of the control group"(z=-1.965, p=.049)was supported. 2. The second hypothesis, "level of ego-identity of the experimental group after 8 weeks will be significantly higher than that of the control group"(z=-2.191, p=.028)was supported. 3. The third hypothesis, "level of interpersonal relationship of the experiment group will be significantly higher than that of the control group after 4 months of training"(z=-.634, p=.238)was not supported. 4. The fourth hypothesis, "level of ego-identity of the experimental group will be significantly higher than that of the control group after 4 months of training"(z=-.292, p=.642)was not supported. Conclusion: The Effectiveness Training can be considered as an effective method of nursing students's interpersonal relationship & ego-identity, because it was proved to help nursing students increase level of their interpersonal relationship & ego-identity but it was needed to reinforce for continuing of the effect of the interpersonal relationship & ego-identity.

어머니와 딸의 성역할 정체감과 음양의복행동간의 관계 (The Relationships between Sex-Role Identity and Yin-Yang Clothing Behavior of Mothors and Daughters)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the relationship between mothers and daughters in sex-role identity and yin-yang clothing behavior as well as the relationship between sex-role indentity and yin-yang clothing behavior Sex-role identy was measured by Bem Sex-Role Inventory (1974) modified and supplemented for this study. For the measurement of yin-yang clothing behavior, researcher developed a questionnaire. Data were collected from 422 women, both college women and her mothers. For the statistical analysis, frequency, distribution, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Duncan's multiple range test, $x^2-test$, Pearson's correlation coefficients, analysis of covariance. multiple regression analysis were used. The results of this research can be summarized as follows: 1 There was significant difference in yin-yang clothing behavior according to home environmental variables such as family type, mother's employment. 2. There was not significant difference in mother's yin-yang clothing behavior according to mother's sex-role identity. But positive significant relationship was found between daughter's sex-role identity and daughter's yin-fang clothing behavior. 3. Mother's sex-role identity had influence on daughter's sex-role identity And mother's yin-yang clothing behavior had influence on daughter's yin-yang clothing behavior, too. 4. Mother's fin-yang clothing behavior and daughter's sex-role identity directly affected daughter's yin-yang clothing behavior, but mother's sex-role identity indirectly affected daughter's yin-yang clothing behavior.

연구자 집단의 성장과 변천: 정부 출연 연구 기관을 중심으로 (A Study on the Historical Development of Research Community in Korea: Focused on the Government Supported Institutes)

  • 이 글에서는 한국 과학자 사회의 구성원으로서 1970년대 급속한 성장을 보였던 정부출연연구기관 소속 과학기술자들을 대표적인 연구자 집단으로 보고, 이들 집단이 어떤 성장과 변천과정을 겪어왔는지를 살펴본다. 제도적인 틀 형성에 중심적인 역할을 하게 되는 정부 정책의 변화, 이에 따른 연구기관 조직 및 기능의 변화, 소속 연구자들의 위상, 역할들을 시기별로 분석한다. 또한 연구자 집단의 위상이나 역할 변화로부터 나타나게 되는 연구자 집단의 가치관 변화도 살펴본다. 이들 연구자 집단은 시험 연구기관의 기능을 지닌 국공립연구기관의 성립과 더불어 집단으로서 형성되기 시작하는데, 이들 초기 연구자들은 연구원으로서보다는 공무원으로서의 정체성을 보이고 있었다. 최초의 종합연구소라 할 수 있는 원자력 연구소의 설립은 한국 사회에서 본래적인 의미의 연구자 집단의 출현을 가능하게 하였다. 미국 원조를 배경으로 설립된 띤fr는 이후 연구자 집단으로 양적으로 성장할 수 있는 토대가 되었고, 전문가 집단으로서 연구자 집단이 사회적 위상을 높이는 계기가 되기도 하였다. KIST를 모델로 하여 설립된 정부 출연연구소는 연구자 집단의 양적 팽창, 연구자로서 확고한 자기 정체성의 확립을 가능하게 해주었다. 한편, 정부의 강력한 지원 하에 이루어진 이들 연구자 집단의 팽창은 연구자들에게 긍정적인 국가관과 국가주의 이데올로기의 내재화를 가져왔다. 1980년대 중반 이후 출연연의 지속적인 인력 증가, 대학과 산업계 연구 능력의 강화에 따른 출연연 위상의 변화 등이 맞물리면서, 출연연은 70년대와는 다른 환경에 놓이게 된다. 정부의 출연연에 대한 관리가 강화되면서, 연구기관의 상대적인 자율성이 위축되고 연구원들에 대한 처우도 열악해지게 되었다. PBS 등의 새로운 연구 관리 체제의 도입과 더불어, 연구원들은 신분의 불안정, 연구 자율의 훼손을 이유로 대학, 산업계로의 이직을 택하게 된다. 한편, 자신들을 대표하는 자율적인 단체들을 만들어 이런 문제점들에 대처하고 있기도 하다. 이들에게서는 70년대 보여지는 국가주의를 찾아보기는 힘들다.

  • Environmental design should be based on the positive theory, a researcher structured symbolic aesthetics on the basis of positive perception theory. Symbolic aesthetics by ecological theory of perception, human preference is related to existence and the formation of place-identity and cognitive map is dealt importantly in this study. Symbolic aesthetics is a study on environmental meaning and a researcher understood the operation of environmental meaning by regarding symbology as a methodological frame and defined architecture as a visual language system after discussing the importance of signified.

레스토랑 디자인에 나타난 문화적 정체성 표현특성과 영향인자에 대한 연구 - 상해 소재 중식레스토랑을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Cultural Identity Expression Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Restaurant Design - Focused on Chinese Restaurant in Sang hai -)

  • The purposes of this study were to examine the characteristics of elements composing the cultural identity of Chinese architectural and spatial design, and to analyze the expression characteristics and influencing factors of contemporary restaurant design. With these purposes, first, this study reviewed related literature in order to find the characteristics of tangible elements observed in intangible elements and space expression characteristics forming the cultural identity of China. Second, this study conducted a case study in order to understand the expression characteristics of the design of Chinese restaurants in Shanghai and to find factors influencing the design. In order to sample the subjects of the case study, the researcher selected 18 restaurants that were recommended repeatedly in books on Chinese restaurants and tourism and major Internet sites or highly evaluated by visitors, and then choose 15 of them that were found to be fit for the purpose of the survey. According to the result of the survey, the restaurants were largely grouped by type into 10 cases of fine dining, 3 of middle-class casual dining, 1 of fast food, and 1 of luxury tea house serving traditional tea and snacks. Of these restaurants, 46.7% (7 cases) were of CM-CM-CM type, namely, using contemporary simple elements in all of external spaces, indoor spaces, and decorations, 20% (3 cases) were of CM-CM-CT type, using contemporary and simple external and indoor spaces, and traditional furniture or articles, 20% (3 cases) were of CT-CM-CT type, using traditional external spaces such as traditional buildings, contemporary simple finishing of indoor spaces, and traditional articles such as palace lanterns and traditional doors and windows, and 13.3% (2 cases) were of CT-CT-CT type, using traditional elements in their original forms in general. Through this research and survey, cultural identity showing Chinese traditions observed in the expression characteristics of restaurant spatial designs was confirmed, and it was also found that the identity was underlain by ideologies, values, lifestyles, etc. that had long accumulated through the long history of the country and exerted a great influence.
