철도차량의 증속에 따른 판형교의 진동특성 (Dynamic Characteristics of Railway Plate Girder Bridges with Increase of Diesel Locomotive Speed)

  • 상시 운행 열차는 운행 속도 대역폭이 한정되어 있기 때문에 속도에 따른 교량의 동적응답 특성 파악에는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 교량상을 통과하는 열차 속도와 교량의 동적응답의 상관관계를 파악하기 위하여 실운행 디젤 기관차 1량에 의한 증속실험을 실시하였다. 가속도 응답특성 분석을 위하여 지점부를 제외한 전구간에 걸쳐 등간격으로 7개의 수직가속도와 중앙부에 1개의 수평가속도계를 부착하였다. 교량의 중앙부에는 연직방향과 횡방향 거동특성 파악을 위하여 수직 변위계, 수평 변위계, 휨변형률계를 각각 1개씩 설치하였다. 실험 차량을 대상 교량의 중앙부와 지점부에 정적재하 후 5km/h부터 90km/h까지 10km/h씩 증속하였고, 각 속도 대역별로 2회씩 반복하여 실험을 실시하였다. 실측 데이터의 필터링 방법에 따른 진동 평가 방법의 적절성을 검토하였고, 연직방향 진동가속도 대비 횡방향 진동수준을 평가하였으며, 속도에 따른 처짐, 변형률 및 윤중변동 특성을 검토하였다.

Effects of Vertical Alignment of Leg on the Knee Trajectory and Pedal Force during Pedaling

  • Objective: This study evaluated the vertical and horizontal forces in the frontal plane acting on a pedal due to the vertical alignment of the lower limbs. Method: Seven male subjects (age: $25.3{\pm} 0.8years$, height: $175.4{\pm}4.7cm$, weight: $74.7{\pm}14.2kg$, foot size: $262.9{\pm}7.6mm$) participated in two 2-minute cycle pedaling tests, with the same load and cadence (60 revolutions per minute) across all subjects. The subject's saddle height was determined by the height when the knee was at $25^{\circ}$ flexion when the pedal crank was at the 6 o'clock position (knee angle method). The horizontal force acting on the pedal, vertical force acting on the pedal in the frontal plane, ratio of the two forces, and knee range of motion in the frontal plane were calculated for four pedaling phases (phase 1: $330{\sim}30^{\circ}$, phase 2: $30{\sim}150^{\circ}$, phase 3: $150{\sim}210^{\circ}$, phase 4: $210{\sim}330^{\circ}$) and the complete pedaling cycle. Results: The range of motion of the knee in the frontal plane was decreased, and the ratio of vertical force to horizontal force and overall pedal force in the complete cycle were increased after vertical alignment. Conclusion: The ratio of vertical force to horizontal force in the frontal plane may be used as an injury prevention index of the lower limb.

전주의 실물인장실험시 토압계를 이용한 수평토압분석 (Horizontal Stress Analysis of Electric Pole using Earth Pressure Cell from Mock-Up Tension Test)

  • 연약지반에 시공하는 많은 콘크리트전주가 외부하중으로 전도파괴가 발생하는데 본 연구에서는 실물인장실험을 실시하고 근가위치, 근가깊이, 근가개수, 전주근입깊이를 달리하면서 전주에 작용하는 수평토압을 분석하였다. 실물실험은 10가지 종류로 나누어 실험한 결과 수평토압은 전주 근입깊이가 클수록 커지고 하부수동영역이 길어지는 것으로 나타났다. 근가 설치위치가 깊을수록 하부수동영역 토압이 감소된다. 근가의 수를 4개 설치한 것이 G.L-0.9[m] 위치에서의 토압을 크게 줄였는데 이는 수직으로 80[cm]정도에 걸쳐 설치된 근가의 영향으로 판단되나 전체적으로 볼 때 근가의 수는 큰 차이가 없으며 근가를 다수 설치하면 굴착면적이 커져 되메우기 등 시공성이 떨어지는 단점이 있으므로 근가를 1개만 설치하여도 좋은 것으로 판단된다.

Study of tensile behavior of Y shape non-persistent joint using experimental test and numerical simulation

  • Experimental and discrete element methods were used to investigate the effects of angle of Y shape non-persistent joint on the tensile behaviour of joint's bridge area under brazilian test. concrete samples with diameter of 100 mm and thikness of 40 mm were prepared. Within the specimen, two Y shape non-persistent notches were provided. The large notch lengths were 6 cm, 4 cm and 2 cm. the small notch lengths were 3 cm, 2 cm and 1 cm. The angle of larger notch related to horizontal axis was 0°, 30°, 60°, 90°. Totally, 12 different configuration systems were prepared for Y shape non-persistent joints. Also, 18 models with different Y shape non-persistent notch angle and notch length were prepared in numerical model. The large notch lengths were 6 cm, 4 cm and 2 cm. the small notch lengths were 3 cm, 2 cm and 1 cm. The angle of larger notch related to horizontal axis was 0, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150. Tensile strength of model materil was 1 MPa. The axial load was applied to the model by rate of 0.02 mm/sec. This testing showed that the failure process was mostly governed by the Y shape non-persistent joint angle and joint length. The tensile strengths of the specimens were related to the fracture pattern and failure mechanism of the discontinuities. It was shown that the tensile behaviour of discontinuities is related to the number of the induced tensile cracks which are increased by increasing the joint length and joint angle. The minimum tensile strength occurs when the angle of larger joint related to horizontal axis was 60°. Also, the maximum compressive strength occurs when the angle of larger joint related to horizontal axis was 90°. The tensile strength was decreased by increasing the notch length. The failure pattern and failure strength are similar in both methods i.e. the experimental testing and the numerical simulation methods.

초근접 병설터널의 필라 안정성 확보 (Pillar stability in very near-twin tunnels)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2개 터널의 간격이 최소 1 m이내인 초근접 병설터널이 풍화토 또는 풍화암같은 연약대를 통과하는 경우에 대해 안전하며 경제적인 필라보강방법을 제시하는데 있다. 초근접 병설터널의 필라부 보강방법 제시를 위하여 2차로 도로터널 표준단면도를 적용하였다. 필라부의 두께는 1 m로 가정하였다. 터널 통과 주변 지반 조건으로 풍화토 또는 풍화암으로 가정하였다. 필라부 안정성 평가를 위하여 4가지 보강 방법, 록볼트 보강, pre-stress 강연선 보강, 필라부 상부 수평강관 보강 + 그라우팅 보강, 수평 강관 보강 + 그라우팅 + pre-stress 강연선 보강 조건에 대하여 검토하였다. 터널 주변 지반조건이 풍화토인 경우 수평강관 보강 + 그라우팅 + pre-stress 강연선 보강 조건만 필라부에서 파괴가 발생하지 않았다. 터널 주변 지반조건이 풍화암인 경우 수평강관 보강 + 그라우팅 조건과 수평강관 보강 + 그라우팅 + pre-stress 강연선 보강 조건인 경우에서만 필라부에서 파괴가 발생하지 않았다. 수평강관 보강 + 그라우팅은 필라부 상부에 가해지는 상부하중을 지지하여 필라부 상부의 안정성을 증가시키는 역할을 수행한 것으로 판단된다.

스트럿-타이 모델을 이용한 개구부를 갖는 전단벽의 전단 설계 (Shear Design of Reinforced Concrete Shear Walls with Openings using Strut-and-Tie Models)

  • This study proposes the design method of the shear walls with openings using strut-and-tie models. Strut-and-tie models are constructed for opening near the middle of the wall and for opening near a wall boundary. These enables an admissible load path for the horizontal earthquake force. These models consider the size and position of opening effectively. Each model is suitable for the seismic response corresponding with lateral forces in a given direction to be considered. The proposed models are good agreements with nonlinear finite element analysis(DIANA) results.

  • The purpose of this study is that to develop computer program, which is about to analy size nonlinear behaviour of elastic framed structures include to geometric & material nonlineality, and to formulate between stress-strain relationship. In order to examplity the efficiency of this program, a few analytical results have been obtained on : (1) nonlinear behaviour of beam which is subject to vertical force (2) nonlinear behaviour of portal frame which is subject to vertical & horizontal force.

  • The actual buckling of the railroad track structure is suspected to be a complex interaction between the vertical, lateral and torsional modes. To make the analysis tractable, however, most studies restrict themselves to either the vertical or the horizontal plane. Based on a comprehensive and realistic three-dimensional track model developed in the previous study, three dimensional buckling analysis of CWR track subjected to temperature load was performed. Using the study on buckling temperature and mode, sensitivity of track components such as tie spacing, ballast resistance, stiffness of pad-fastening system and rail size were investigated.

  • The present research deals in two dimensional (2D) transversely isotropic magneto generalized thermoelastic solid without energy dissipation and with two temperatures due to time harmonic sources in Lord-Shulman (LS) theory of thermoelasticity. The Fourier transform has been used to find the solution of the problem. The displacement components, stress components and conductive temperature distribution with the horizontal distance are calculated in transformed domain and further calculated in the physical domain numerically. The effect of two temperature are depicted graphically on the resulting quantities.

  • The friction pendulum type seismic isolation system (FPS) has been developed to provide a simple and effective way to achieve earthquake resistance for buildings . The major advantages are: the isolation frequency can be easily achieved by designing a curvature of the surface and does not depend on the supported weight of a structure. The function of carrying vertical load is separated to the function of providing horizontal stiffness. Next the friction provides sufficient energy dissipation to protect the structure from earthquake response and resistance to the weak external disturbances such as wind load and ground vibrations due to traffic. In this paper, the friction coefficients are evaluated from number of experiments on the FPS test specimens. The relations between friction coefficient and the test waveform, velocity, and pressure are reviewed and further works are discussed.
