This paper seeks to find out the policies of management and layout of middle school rooms for the community people's use. This paper surveys community's needs with respect to both the use of school rooms before, during, and after classes and preferences of use of school rooms. This paper adopts two experimental case studies to find out the models. It uses t-test analysis of the statistics to find out community people's preferences for the use of school rooms between two communities in an urban area, and uses simple and multiple regression analyses to develop models concerning community people's uses of school rooms before, during, and after classes. It also uses cluster analysis to find out the cluster among community people's preference of school rooms. It found, first, that community people's use of school rooms after class can be influenced by the uses of a play ground, a music classroom, an audio visual classroom, and a gymnasium. The use during regular classes is related to the uses of the fine arts classroom, a general classroom, a home economics classroom, a gymnasium, and a playground. The use before class is affected by the uses of a fine arts classroom, a playground, and a library. It also found that, with respect to community people's preferential use of school rooms, the rooms can be clustered as a cluster of laboratories such as a general classroom, a music room, a fine arts classroom, a science classroom, a home economics classroom, and a technique classroom, a cluster of athletic areas such as a gymnasium and a playground, and a cluster of supporting facilities such as a library, an audio visual classroom, and a computer classroom. Those clusters can also be clustered in more detail, i. e., that both a general classroom and playground can be apart from a cluster of laboratories or a cluster of supporting facilities; that an audio visual classroom can be fostered into a cluster with a home economics affairs classroom and a technique classroom. Finally this paper suggests policies of management and layout of school rooms.

At present, the whole world is characterized by openness, cooperation and integration as a society with information and the world, and it requires creative talents for this. The competitiveness of the nation depends on the cultivation of creative talents. It demands anthropological value by improving the competitiveness of the nation through cultivating creative talents to share and care, not to cultivate creative talents for personal desires and accomplishments. The purpose of this study is to develop a teaching - learning process to develop integrated creative talents by applying the characteristics of integrated education curriculum at the base of the 2015 revised curriculum. To do this, we first extracted the content elements of the Clothing Life area of the revised curriculum from the 1st to 2015 and the contents of the Clothing Life area of the technology and home Economics textbooks to which the 2009 revision curriculum was applied. Five topics were extracted according to content selection criteria And The Theme of 'The selection and management of clothing' was selected. Researcher developed a integrated thematic instruction Home Economics Education Clothing Life teaching - learning process (hereinafter referred to as "the process") focused on the theme of 'selection and management of clothing'. The Process was composed of 5 basic classes [basic inquiry - content 1 - content 2 - depth study - application]. The process considers integration within the curriculum and interdepartmental integration, and aims to improve the personality, creativity, and problem solving ability of consideration and sharing in the course of the integrated class. In detail, the curriculum goals of the home Economics Education curriculum and ITI goals are presented separately in the curriculum developed for each process. At the stage of the class, the element of creativity and the element of personal education were exposed and applied to the class. In Korea, new curriculum has been revised and announced from time to time, making it difficult for the teacher to carry out the class in accordance with the paradigm of change. Home curriculum is closely related to real life, so it is an appropriate subject for an integrated subject. It has the educational significance of the subject in that it allows students to integrate the creative and personal elements that are limited in other subjects. ITI process will be helpful to teachers who need to implement the 2015 revised curriculum in which the theme-centered integrated home Economics education teaching-learning process is newly introduced. It is necessary to follow - up research to verify the effectiveness of how to improve students' problem - solving ability and cultivate creativity.

And eight lessons of NIE community activity teaching-learning plan were developed. Ninety-seven students at second grade in 3 classes of the middle school were randomly enrolled in this study. After learning, their environmental recognition and educational interest and attitude on the class of NIE community activity were investigated. The general environmental recognition of most students was improved via NIE community activity, which is emphasizing on the analysis of articles of newspapers, the critical and creative thinking, and the mutual discussion. The environmental recognition related to 'Textile and Cloth', 'Purchase, Usage and Storage of Clothes', 'Laundry of Clothes', Recycling and Disposal of Clothes' was significantly improved. The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions of the use of them and the moves to strengthen home economics resources for school lifelong education for parents and local residents. This study conducted a systematic random sampling. Questionnaires were distributed to home economics teachers from 285 middle schools, 123 high schools, and 130 of them were sampled as the subjects of this study. The results of this study were as follows. First, home economics teachers were active participating school lifelong educational program. But according to the result of research on the actual condition, the proportion of taking part in it was low. More than half of home economics teachers who took part in program's lecturer were in charge of computer courses. So they didn't show their ability as expert. Also they were in charge of several works than roll of lecturers. It was mentioned too great a burden. There is little in-service training for meeting specialization for school lifelong education. They wanted to take part of lecturers of program and preferred hours of being over class. More than half of them had intended to obtain a lifelong educator's license. The part of elective courses for obtaining a lifelong educator's license is similar to home economics educational contents. So, they have an advantage of obtaining it. Second, one-fifth of school that gave school life education carried out program of related home economics. Mostly they had mothers of students-oriented programs on artistic and leisure. But this is that home economics teachers mentioned less important teaching at society in the future. They importantly mentioned program on children's education in now and the future. Parents of students and local residents also extremely wanted it. For differentiated school life education, quality of programs is important greatly. Third, the actual condition of practical room relating home economics is only practice to cook mostly. So they are reluctant to be open it because of being responsible for the results from using there. It is necessary to ameliorate there's facilities and to increase there's area. Fourth, home economics teachers want to improve their specialization through in-service training, to develop and diffuse programs of superior quality, and to get extra pay for overtime from the government.
The purpose of this study is to analysis the effects of religious activities on adolescents' life satisfaction. For this purpose, we surveyed the general trend of adolescents' religious activities and life satisfaction as well as life satisfaction according to demographical variables. In addition, this study analyzed adolescents' life satisfaction according to variables related to individual adolescents' religious activities and to parents' religious activities. The analyses of the results are as follows. First, since the childhood, adolescents have been participated in religious activities habitually or by enforcement or encouragement of their acquaintances. However, most adolescents think that the main purposes of their religious activities are a receiving grace and self-growing. So, they are willing to participate in worship service and spiritual training camp. Second, adolescents' life satisfaction was high when they got a high grade in school or they felt their health condition is good. The life satisfaction of adolescents who belong to economically high class families and whose fathers were college graduates or above is high. Third, the facts that effect on adolescent's life satisfaction are not how long they spend their time on religious activity, but the contents, motives and purposes of religious activities and satisfaction with religious activities. Fourth, adolescents' life satisfaction was high when their parents have same religion to them and their fathers participated in religious activities and their mothers did not participate in religious activities.

The purpose of the study was to describe the operating status of "Logic and Writing in Home Economics Education(HEE)" course and the students' perception about the course. For this study, the syllabuses of "Logic and Writing" course in HE education department were reviewed. The survey method was used in this descriptive study. Respondents in this study were 116 students taking the "Logic and Writing in Home Economics Education" course. Questionnaires from the students were collected through on-line and off-line mail. The results of the study were as the follows: First, goals of the "Logic and Writing in HE Education" course were as the follows in order: to enhance writing skill about various subjects related to Home Economics; to foster HE teachers' professionalism through persuasive power logically; to foster writing skill logically; to prepare HE teacher recruitment exam; and to foster teaching skills to enhance students' writing. The student evaluation methods in the course were mainly attendance, examination, tasks, discussion and presentation, and class participation. Second, degree of satisfaction of students taking the course was higher than average. The student respondents perceived that the course was helpful to improve their logical thinking and critical analytical skill, writing skill related to HE education and education, ability to express one's opinion clearly and exactly, understanding of the fundamental concept of logic and the structure and method of the essay, comprehensive understanding of HE education, and ability to solve the problems specifically. However, they responded that it was difficult to practice writing, to discuss and debate frequently, to follow uncertain assessment criteria, and to present frequently. They wanted the instructor to give the feedback more frequently.
Using data from the 2008 Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families, this study investigated the income class differences in the modes, amount of time, and expenses for caring and educating a child in early childhood. The sample consisted of 1,849 households with a child aged 6 years or less. The major findings were as follows. First, the lower-income class was more likely to rely on child care centers and less likely to use services provided by kindergarten or private education. Their total amount of time required to provide care and education for their child was about 4 or 5 hours less than that of the other income classes; this result was due to the fact that they consumed less hours for home care, kindergarten, and private education. Second, we found there were more similarities than differences between middle-income and upper-income classes in the modes, amount of time, and expenses to care for and educate their young children; however, the middle-income class used less private education than the upper-income classes in terms of usage rate and length of time. Lastly, the other variables which were significantly related with the amount of time and expenses for child care and education included mother's employment, age of the child, and having siblings, and the family size. Based on the results, implications for public policy on early childhood care and education were suggested.
