안전한 토석류 관리를 위한 계측기 선정에 관한 연구 (Study of Determination in Measurement System for Safely Managing Debris-Flow)

  • Recent studies have shown that there are various systems which can be used to monitor hazardous area in a debris flow location, but lack of methodological research on the exact location where each instrument should be installed has hindered the success of this systems. The objective of this study is to suggest the measurement system for monitoring debris-flow and propose the effective method to determine location of measurement system. Previously studied, from 1991 to 2015, were referred and the applied ratio of every instrument was investigated. The measurement information was divided into 8 categories including rainfall, debris-flow velocity, displacement, fluid pore pressure, ground vibration, image processing, impact force and peak flow depth. The result of this study revealed that the most applied instruments to be rain gauge and geophone for measuring average rainfall and ground vibration respectively. The Analytic Hierarchical Process (AHP) method was selected to determine installation location of instrument and the weighting factors were estimated through fine content, soil thickness, porosity, shear strength, elastic modulus, hydraulic conductivity and saturation. The soil thickness shows highest weights and the fine content relatively demonstrates lowest weights. The score of each position can be calculated through the weighting factors and the lowest score position can be judged as the weak point. The weak point denotes the easily affecting area and thus, the point is suitable for installing the measurement system. This study suggests a better method for safely managing the debris-flow through a precise location for installing measurement system.

Wind-induced responses and dynamic characteristics of a super-tall building under a typhoon event

  • Wind measurements were made on the Canton Tower at a height of 461 m above ground during the Typhoon Vincente, the wind-induced accelerations and displacements of the tower were recorded as well. Comparisons of measured wind parameters at upper level of atmospheric boundary layer with those adopted in wind tunnel testing were presented. The measured turbulence intensity can be smaller than the design value, indicating that the wind tunnel testing may underestimate the crosswind structural responses for certain lock-in velocity range of vortex shedding. Analyses of peak factors and power spectral density for acceleration response shows that the crosswind responses are a combination of gust-induced buffeting and vortex-induced vibrations in the certain range of wind directions. The identified modal frequencies and mode shapes from acceleration data are found to be in good agreement with existing experimental results and the prediction from the finite element model. The damping ratios increase with amplitude of vibration or equivalently wind velocity which may be attributed to aerodynamic damping. In addition, the natural frequencies determined from the measured displacement are very close to those determined from the acceleration data for the first two modes. Finally, the relation between displacement responses and wind speed/direction was investigated.

지하 광산발파에 따른 암반광주의 변위 및 진동 측정을 위한 이미지 영상 상관법 적용연구 (Application of Digital Image Correlation Method for Measurement of Rock Pillar Displacement and Vibration Due to Underground Mine Blasting)

  • 본 연구에서는 지하채광 발파에 따른 암반광주에서의 변위 및 진동을 측정하는 방법을 통해 디지털 이미지 영상상관 기법(DIC)이라는 기술의 적용성을 시험하였다. 디지털 이미지 영상상관 기법은 고속 사진촬영 기술과 접목하면 구조물 또는 대상물의 전면변화 속성을 2차원 또는 3차원 좌표로 변환할 수 있는 우수한 광학영상 처리능력을 제공한다. 이렇게 측정된 좌표들은 구조물이나 대상물의 변위, 변형률, 속도 등을 계산하는 데 사용된다. 이 기술은 과학 및 공학 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있으며, 그 밖의 많은 분야로도 적용성을 확장해 나가고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 DIC 시스템과 기존의 진동계측기를 사용하여 발파로 발생된 변위와 진동을 측정함으로써 그 성능을 서로 비교하였다. 현장시험 결과, 두 방법은 비슷한 결과를 보였다. 이로부터 DIC 시스템을 이용한 발파 진동 및 변위 측정에 대한 적용성을 확인할 수 있었다.

Dynamic analysis and controller design for a slider-crank mechanism with piezoelectric actuators

  • Dynamic behaviour of a slider-crank mechanism associated with a smart flexible connecting rod is investigated. Effect of various mechanisms' parameters including crank length, flexibility of the connecting rod and the slider's mass on the dynamic behaviour is studied. Two control schemes are proposed for elastodynamic vibration suppression of the flexible connecting rod and also obtaining a constant angular velocity for the crank. The first scheme is based on feedback linearization approach and the second one is based on a sliding mode controller. The input signals are applied by an electric motor located at the crank ground joint, and two layers of piezoelectric film bonded to the top and bottom surfaces of the connecting rod. Both of the controllers successfully suppress the vibrations of the elastic linkage.

고기동 항체의 위치추적용 GPS 중계기 설계/제작 (GPS Translator Design and Manufacturing for High Dynamic Vehicle)

  • A GPS translator system is used to get the precise and reliable trajectory data for the high dynamic test vehicles, such as missiles or artillery shells. The missile system with high dynamics, vibration and shock needs to determine its position and velocity in particular. The proposed GPS translator on the test vehicle receives GPS signals, amplifies, down-converts, digitally samples, BPSK modulates, up-converts them to S-band, and then retransmits them to the ground translator processing station. It has doppler variation and signal noise, so design method for resolving them is proposed. The performance of the translator is proved by environmental test and real flight test.

재난 변동풍속의 최초파괴확률 평가 (Estimate of First-Passage Probability for Hazard Fluctuating Wind Velocity)

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 2003년부터 2012년까지의 10년 동안 연최대평균풍속이 발생한 날의 변동풍속으로부터 최초파괴확률(FEP: first excursion probability)을 알아보기 위하여 대표지점 8개 지점을 선정하고, 선정된 각 지점에 대한 최근 10년 동안의 풍속자료는 기상청으로부터 획득했고, 90개의 앙상블 중 정규확률분포로 평가된 12개의 모집단을 선정하여, 최초파괴확률 평가를 실시하였다. 분석결과 FEP의 발생확률은 P모델이 M모델 보다 약 60-200% 크게 나타나는 사실을 알 수 있었고 지표면 10 m에서 실측된 기상청자료의 변동풍속으로부터 지상 320 m까지 추정한 변동풍속의 평균 풍속 난류강도의 수직분포를 확인할 수 있었고, 서울 대구의 경도풍 고도는 약 300 m, 나머지 지점은 약 240-280 m로 나타났고, 지표면부근에서의 난류강도는 0.72 m/s-3.3 m/s로 100 m 높이 까지는 난류강도의 변화율이 증가하는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.

화강암 지반에서 진동 및 크랙측정치 분석에 관한 연구 (A study on analysis of vibration and crack measurement data on granite-bed rock)

  • 터널 발파에 있어서 진동특성을 규명하기 위하여 브이-컷 심발패턴으로 시험발파를 수행하고, '터널 진행방향'과 '터널 진행직각방향'의 두 방향에서 발파진동을 계측하였다. 최대 지발당 장약량을 기준으로 지반의 진동전달 특성을 확인하기 위하여 자승근 환산거리와 삼승근 환산거리로 회귀분석을 수행한 결과 5mm/sec에서 교차점은 35~45m였으며 터널 진행방향에서 측정한 경우가 터널진행직각방향에서 측정한 경우보다 진동수준과 진동감쇠가 더욱 크게 나타났으며, 근거리에서 이루어지는 터널발파의 경우 삼승근 환산거리 방식으로 설계하는 것이 더욱 바람직하였다. 또한 발파가 없었던 시기에 사전균열조사결과에서는 미소량의 균열이 진행되고 있었으며, 공사기간중 균열조사 결과는 옥외구조물의 균열허용기준치 0.33mm대비 51.5~81.8%였다.

지반진동이 건물의 균열에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -부산 안산암지역을 대상으로- (A Study of Effects on Building for Cracks by Ground Vibration -Pusan Andesite-)

  • A study was made on crack developments of the nearly building due to rock blasting for road construction at the 623 Common Block near the rear side of the Gamchun Habor. The gelogy of the study area is composed of andesite, which belongs to the Kyungsang System of the Cretaceous Period. For 3 months of blasting events, the vibration velocity data were measured at the site just in front of the K freezing factory. The data were divided into 4 groups according to the period of blasting(i.e, DATA 1, DATA 2, DATA 3 and DATA 4), for deriving K and n values. As a result, DATA 1 shows that K and n were 83.3756 and -0.848, respectively, and then K and n were progressively increased in absolute values for the follow-up groups and the last DATA 4 shows K and n were 2980.4898 and -1.502, respectively. Such differences in K and n values may be due to partly : 1) variations geological characteristics, from the upper rather weathered, fisssuring soft rocks at the earlier stage less weathered and fissuring hard rocks at the later stage of blasting events, and 2) the geometry between the blasting and detecting points.Among the total count of 225 blasting events, the number exceeding the safety limits of 0.5cm/sec was 20(8.9% of the total), the maximum displacement detected at the crack gage was 0.25mm, the level of which is far less to cause the occurrence and development of any cracks to the K factory. Therefore, it was confirmed that there were no damages such as structural failure or safety problem to the building.

터널굴착에서 다단식 발파기에 의한 전단면 발파의 적용성 연구 (Application of Full-Face Round by Sequential Blasting Machine in Tunnel Excavation)

  • Many methods and techniques to reduce ground vibrations are well known. Some of them are to adopt electric millisecond detonators with a sequential blasting machine or an initiating system with an adequate number of delay intervals. The types of electric detonators manufactured in korea include instantaneous, decisecond and millisecond delays but numbers of delay intervals are only limited from No.1 to No.20 respectively. It is not sufficient to control accurately millisecond time with these detonators in tunnel excavation. Sequential fire time refers to adding an external time delay to a detonators norminal firing time to obtain sequential initiation and it is determined by sequential timer setting. To reduce the vibration level, sequential blasting machine(S.B.M) with decisecond detonators was adopted. A total of 134 blasts was recorede at various sites. Blast-to-structure distances ranged from 20.3 to 42.0 meter, where charge weight varied from 0.24 to 0.75 kg per delay. The results can be summarized as follow: 1. The effects of sequential blasting machine on the vibration level are discussed. The vibration level by S.B.M are decreased approximately 14.38~18.05% compare to level of conventional blasting and cycle time per round can be saved. 2. The empirical equations of particle velocity were obtained in S.B.M and conventional blasting. V=K(D/W1/3)-n, where the values for n and k are estimated to be 1.665 to 1.710 and 93.59 to 137 respectively. 3. The growth of cracks due to vibrations are found but the level fall to within allowable value.

발파진동으로 인한 터널 콘크리트 라이닝과 록볼트 거동의 수치해석적 분석 (Numerical Analysis of Concrete Lining and Rockbolt Behavior of the Tunnel Associated with Blast-induced Vibration)

  • 발파 시 폭약의 폭발로 발생되는 발파진동은 발파지역 인근의 기존 구조물에 피해를 유발시킬 수도 있으며, 이러한 경우 구조물의 안정성 검토를 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 기설 터널의 상부 지층 발파 시 터널의 안정성을 구조물의 허용진동속도가 아닌 콘크리트 구조설계기준에 제시된 구조물의 허용응력을 기준으로 수치해석 프로그램인 $FLAC^{2D}$를 이용하여 구조물의 발파 진동이 터널 지보재인 콘크리트 라이닝의 응력 및 록볼트의 축력에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 터널에 근접하여 발파가 이루어지는 경우에는 발파진동속도와 콘크리트 라이닝의 휨 압축응력과 전단응력, 록볼트의 축력은 급격히 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.
