As employment changes quickly in structure, enterprises put more and more stress on basic vocational competency skills. This study aimed to grasp the basic vocational competency skills of S College Department of Radiological Technology students and present the basic data. The gathered data was analyzed using T-Test and Oneway ANOVA. The analysis showed that the students mostly had average or higher levels in the seven areas of basic vocational competency skills. Reading and writing skills among communication skills were the lowest, followed by the skills of understanding global culture and using foreign languages among organization understanding skills, and then by numeracy skills. On the contrary, interpersonal relationship skills were the highest in level. This indicates that the students will establish good interpersonal relationships with hospital patients and members. There were also statistically significant differences in reading and writing skills among communication skills, numeracy skills, and the skills of understanding global culture and using foreign languages among organization understanding skills. This study measured the basic vocational competency skills of S College Department of Radiological Technology students, which might somewhat restrict the application of its results to the students of all universities. The results show that students should be instructed to improve the skills of communication, numeracy, organization understanding, self-management skills, etc. Therefore, it seems necessary using various programs customized to school years and student levels and performing education properly connected to industrial establishments to foster the workforce with excellent basic vocational competency skills.
Objectives : We tried to propose the direction of Korean medicine education through the consideration of 'professionalism as a competency beyond knowledge-skill' that modern medicine should take and therefore the perspectives of the competency-based curriculum in Korean medicine education. Methods : Competency-based curriculum, professionalism education phase and competency at medical school, student demand survey, Korean medicine education Accreditation Standards, and related research articles were used. Results : Proposed development measures to cultivate students' professionalism in Korean medicine education are as follows. self-care and emotional stability programs, communications between patient and doctor and among the colleagues, career exploration programs based on global medical trends and government policy, standardized professional training programs, and the evaluation of teaching experiences and achievements. Conclusions : The main purpose of the reorganization of the competency-based curriculum should be for improving Korean medicine education. The contents of phase performance, process performance, and course performance should be carefully organized so that the core contents and spirit of traditional Korean medicine can be achieved. In modern medicine, education of professionalism has been used to cover the problems that arise from taking achievement goals only from a biomedical perspectives. This study aimed to confirm the positive impact of individual entrepreneurial orientation on entrepreneurial intentions and to investigate whether cognitive competency and social awareness of entrepreneurs serve as mediating variables in the relationship between individual entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intentions. The results of this study are as follows: Individual entrepreneurial orientation positively influenced entrepreneurial intentions, cognitive competency, and social awareness of entrepreneurs. Moreover, it was found that higher levels of cognitive competency and social awareness led to higher entrepreneurial intentions. Additionally, it was demonstrated that cognitive competency and social awareness of entrepreneurs had parallel mediating effects in the relationship between individual entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intentions. Based on these findings, this study provides theoretical foundations for research on the relationship between individual entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intentions, which have been relatively underexplored. Furthermore, by identifying cognitive competency and social awareness as mediating variables, this study opens avenues for academic expansion. Finally, the findings of this study can serve as practical groundwork related to individual entrepreneurial orientation.
Recent changes in the Korean education policies are promoting the advances in science and technology and cultivating people of convergence talent. STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) educational program is Korean styled convergence program for creative competent human resources. Therefore, Therefore the aim of this study is developing convergence hand-on educational program coping with climate change for elementary school students. For development of the program, we investigated the curriculum of the elementary school about the climate change, and allocated in the creative learning standard frame. Also, we selected themes related the climate change in the curriculum and learning activity. For more effective program to build the convergence competency, we analyzed the program based on creative problem based learning process and 4 core competency(creativity, communication, convergence, caring) elements. In conclusion, the STEAM program needs to develop by school curriculum and leaner's ability. For elementary school students, the STEAM program consists with creative problem based learning process. And the convergence educational program would analyze by the creative PBL process and convergence competency elements. So, this developing program has brought the promotion of the creative convergence competent talented person for the future global environment.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing personal disaster preparation and disaster nursing core competency among visiting nurses in public health centers. Methods: A descriptive survey study was adopted. A convenience sample was taken from 277 subjects in three regions. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: The mean personal disaster preparation and disaster nursing core competency scores were 11.13 and 76.87, respectively. Personal disaster preparation was statistically significant by experience of disaster victims and disaster management guideline. Disaster nursing core competency was statistically significant by participation in future disaster recovery. As a result of multiple regression analysis, personal disaster preparation accounted for 14.9 of the variance by experience of disaster victims and disaster management guidelines; disaster nursing core competency accounted for 8.9 of the variance by perception of disaster nursing. Conclusion: Although visiting nurses are ill-prepared for disaster, global natural and man-made disasters can occur regardless of time and place. Disaster education and training should therefore be included in nurses' fundamental education.
STEAM education is an effective teaching method to develop self-problem-solving skills through creative thinking. In order to revitalize STEAM education, various program models are being developed recently. The purpose of this study is to develop a STEAM education program based on the project-based learing method that includes the process of solving global environmental problems. The STEAM element was extracted by linking the zero energy house design with the middle school curriculum, and the STEAM education program was developed considering career activities. It was analyzed whether the developed program can improve STEAM core competence and job preparation ability. The education program was conducted for middle school students and the program was evaluated through questionnaires. In order to strengthen the STEAM competency, project-based learning method was applied and it was able to enhance the active problem solving ability of learners. In addition, opportunities for career experience could be provided through career exploration programs and various activities. Through this STEAM education program, it is expected to contribute to cultivating human resources with convergence knowledge and core competency.

This study was analyzed based on the core competencies that Small Giant enterprises to foster the goals of growth of SMEs mid-sized businesses rather than Global Small Giant enterprises of the business model for a causal relationship. As the result, the average age, sales and number of employees of Korean small giants were 20.6 years, 148.8 billion won and 312.1. This research investigated that Korean small giants were realizing the sustainable growth with the firm shares in the target markets, based on added values in groups and technical powers, although their average age is one third younger than global small giants. The further research needs to develop and select small giants more precisely and strictly. It is expected that small giants will be new growth engines to improve global competitiveness of Korea.

Purpose: This study aimed to understand the current status of global health curricula and characteristics in nursing schools, focusing on the changes since 2015. Methods: Data were collected from the websites of 202 nursing schools nationwide in Korea. Global health curricula were analyzed using a structured framework developed by the authors. Results: Among 202 nursing schools, 173 (85.6%) schools offer global health-related courses. Of these, 72 (35.6%) schools offer a 'Multiculturalism' course, and 42 (20.8%) schools offer a 'Global Nursing' course. Fifty-nine schools (29.2%) offer both courses. Compared to the study findings in 2015, the number of global health-related courses and the percentage of global health-related courses designated as a requirement dramatically increased. An additional analysis of five syllabi of global-health related courses found several differences in the courses' aims, contents and evaluation methods. Conclusions: Due to social and political changes, nursing schools are more likely to offer global health curricula. However, there is still a lack of consensus on the core contents and approaches of such curricula, necessitating systematic discussions about the core contents and effective learning methods to increase nursing student competency in global health nursing.

IT has an important role to reduce cost and to increases business performance such as increasing sales, improving business skills and corporate image, etc. in the corporate environment. The development and use of IT resource is recognized as essential in connection with the business strategy. Most companies tried to establish the strategic use of information systems to gain competitive advantage. IT resource management is not clear in a tangible result of the business. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between IT competency and organizational performance through the mediating effect of strategic use of IS. IT competency consists of IT human resource, IT infrastructure, and IT vendor management. In direct relationship between three IT competence factors and organizational performance, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that IT human resource and IT vendor management are important determinants to influence organizational performance. The additional analysis for mediating effect of strategic use of IS showed that it has mediated the relationship between IT competency factors and organizational performance. This results give us an implication, not only the importance of IT competency development, but also the importance of strategic alignment of strategic use of IS with business strategy.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance and performance of core competencies recognized by Korean sports students and to identify directions and methods for strengthening the competence of sports students in the future direction of future society. The results of analysis of 309 students of sports major students are as follows. First, the importance of core competencies recognized by college students in sports was in the order of self - management capacity, interpersonal capacity, communication capacity, comprehensive thinking ability, resource information technology utilization capability, and global capability. Second, the students' performance of their core competencies evaluated by sports college students was in the order of interpersonal competence, self-management competence, communication competence, comprehensive thinking ability, global competency, and resource information technology utilization competency. Third, the difference between the importance of core competence and the degree of performance was found to be significant in all areas, and the areas of great difference were total thinking, communication ability, resource information technology utilization capacity, self-management capability, Relationship competence. While college students in sports college have relatively high level of interpersonal competence, self-management competence and communication ability, comprehensive thinking ability, resource information technology utilization capacity and global competency are weak. Therefore, It will be able to be reborn as the talent required by society. Therefore, universities need to cultivate competitive sports talent through innovation of curriculum and capacity of faculty, and it should be recognized that this can be linked to the competitiveness of universities.
