  • According as standard of measurement is changed to world geodetic system by surveying law revision, we need to transform previous 1/1,000 digital maps as a standards of world geodetic system. And, we should acquire standard strategy to minimize confusion and error by conversion of geodetic surveying standards. Thus, conversion of digital maps must be transformed efficiently and consistently according to notice of relevant standard. As common point, we have used 1/1,000 digital map and local geodetic system coordinates and world geodetic system coordinates that had been used in UIS business of Pusan city and, make a analysis of distortion quantity using KASM Trans Ver 2.2. As the result of distortion quantity calculation about all Pusan city, numbers of area that error is over 0.05m are 35 in case of X(N) and 43 in case of Y(E). Because some business section have especially much error, we divided into 3 areas, that was A,B,C, and analyzed. As a result of analysis, errors of more than 0.05m are occurred only 1 X(E) in the B area and 1 X(N) and 1 Y(E) in the C area. In conclusion, We think It is a good method that we consider a distortion quantity and divide a region, and transfer to world geodetic system for large area like Pusan city.

  • In order to provide the new official coordinates set of Korean Geodetic Primary Framework, the data of Precise Primary Geodetic Network (PPGN) were reviewed and validated in the project and block adjustment stage. Moreover PPGN data set was constructed for various computer processings. The simultaneous least squares adjustment was carried out to assess the net strength, local weakness and accuracy of PPGN and to evaluate the horizontal displacements of the resin of Korean peninsula. Finally, the precise horizontal coordinates set of 1st and 2nd order triangulation points of Korea was computed and presented.

  • In the three dimensional Cartesian Coordinate System such as the satellite geodesy the relationship of the geoid and the reference ellipsoid must be known. Therefore, the determination of geoidal heights is regarded as one of the most important problem in geodesy. This paper deals with determination of astro-geodetic geoid by the spherical surface polynomials interpolation method. The data that astronomical deflection of the vertical was published by National Geography Institute is applied. The map of geoidal heights is drawn out. This shows that Tokyo Datum have influenced on Korea.

  • This paper has focused on deriving a GPS based geodetic network adjustment strategy to continuously determine coordinate sets of the national geodetic control points. After domestic literature review on the topic and overseas case studies about countries that recently reformed their geodetic infrastructure have been carried out, a simplified geodetic network consisting of two layers, namely GPS active and passive network, has been proposed to maximize effectiveness of the network adjustment through reducing the number of the passive points. Furthermore, a GPS data processing and network adjustment procedure has been derived to support the continuous management scheme. While a scheme for the active layer adopts a sequential least squares adjustment based on a multi-baseline, that of the passive layer employs a multi-session adjustment technique with respect to 3-dimensional baseline vectors. Finally, experimental adjustment against a network comprising 24 active and 6,900 passive stations has been performed to demonstrate the efficiency and the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • Geodetic Satellite Positioning Techniques (NNSS, Transit, Doppler, VLBI, SLR etc.) still have much difficulty in surveying and necessity of point positions is being amplified in korea. Therefore some research institutes have being investigated point positioning using the GPS. In this study, 1 arranged the theory deal with point positioning using GPS carrier beat phase of dual frequency and estimated corrections of errors that be included in GPS observable. Also, 1 determined point position by the differencing scheme of GPS carrier phase, and analyzed the accuracy of point position. 1 suggested potentiality of geodetic point positioning using GPS carrier phase by comparing result of relative positioning with result of point positioning and analyzing result of network adjustment fixed any point position.

  • The main purpose of the present study was to investigate coordinate transformation based on two different systems: one was the World Geodetic System 1984(WGS84) adopted as a reference system for GPS satellite surveying;and another was the current Korean geodetic system based on Bessel ellipsoid. For this purpose, three methods were used to determine 7 parameters as follows: Bursa-Wolf model, Molodensky-Badekas model, and Veis model. The coordinate transformation was carried out using simillity transformation applied the obtained 7 parameters and the precision of transformed coordinate was evaluated. From this results, we found that Bursa-wolf model is more suitable than others for the determination of transformation parameters in Korea.

  • This article investigates the situation of the Plane Rectangular Coordinate derived from the Gauss Double Projection whereby the positioning of triangulation point in Korea has been represented on. Analyzing and assessing it have been performed by means of new computational method such as computer programing. On the basis of the results brought about, it is found that a new Plane Rectangular Coordinate as well as map projection and scale factor of geodetic length may be adapted to improve the distortion along the geodetic line on a certain zone of map projection in order to enhance the accuracy and the utility of the practical surveying works. The proposals for this study are as follows; (1) projection: Gauss-Kruger's projection (2) Coordinate system: Plane Rectangular coordinate with 8 origin system (3) Scale factor of geodetic length in origin; $m_0=0.9999$
