  • The semi-convexity for planar shapes has been recently introduced in [2]. As a generalization of the convextiy, semi-convexity is closed under the Minkowski sum. But the definition of semi-convexity requires that the shape boundary should satifisfy a differentiability condition $C^{1:1}$, which means that it should be possible to take the normal vector field along the domain's extended boundary. In view of the fact that the semi-convextiy is a most natural generalization of the convexity in many respects, this is a severe restriction for the semi-convexity, since the convexity requires no such a priori differentiability condition. In this paper, we generalize the semi-convexity to the closure of the class of semi-convex $\mathcal{M}$-domains for any Minkowski class $\mathcal{M}$, and show that this generalized semi-convexity is also closed under Minkowski sum.

  • In this paper, the Schur convexity is generalized to Schur $f$-convexity, which contains the Schur geometrical convexity, harmonic convexity and so on. When $f$ : ${\mathbb{R}}_+{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{R}}$ is defined as $f(x)=(x^m-1)/m$ if $m{\neq}0$ and $f(x)$ = ln $x$ if $m=0$, the necessary and sufficient conditions for $f$-convexity (is called Schur $m$-power convexity) of Gini means are given, which generalize and unify certain known results.

  • In this paper, we establish the necessary and sufficient Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) conditions for an optimization problem with difference of set-valued maps under generalized cone convexity assumptions. We also study the duality results of Mond-Weir (MW D), Wolfe (W D) and mixed (Mix D) types for the weak solutions of the problem (P).

  • Optimality conditions are derived for a nonlinear fractional program in which a support function appears in the numerator and denominator of the objective function as well as in each constraint function. As an application of these optimality conditions, a dual to this program is formulated and various duality results are established under generalized convexity. Several known results are deduced as special cases.

  • A mixed type dual to a programming problem containing support functions in a objective as well as constraint functions is formulated and various duality results are validated under generalized convexity and invexity conditions. Several known results are deducted as special cases.

  • In the current study, our aim is to define new generalized extended beta and hypergeometric types of functions. Next, we methodically determine several integral representations, Mellin transforms, summation formulas, and recurrence relations. Moreover, we provide log-convexity, Turán type inequality for the generalized extended beta function and differentiation formulas, transformation formulas, differential and difference relations for the generalized extended hypergeometric type functions. Also, we additionally suggest a generating function. Further, we provide the generalized extended beta distribution by making use of the generalized extended beta function as an application to statistics and obtaining variance, coefficient of variation, moment generating function, characteristic function, cumulative distribution function, and cumulative distribution function's complement.

  • A new class of univalent holomorphic functions with fixed finitely many coefficients based on Generalized fractional derivative are introduced. Also some important properties of this class such as coefficient bounds, convex combination, extreme points, Radii of starlikeness and convexity are investigated.

  • In this paper our aim is to establish some geometric properties (like starlikeness, convexity and close-to-convexity) for the generalized and normalized Dini functions. In order to prove our main results, we use some inequalities for ratio of these functions in normalized form and classical result of Fejer.
