에어로젤 복합 무기질 블랭킷 및 석고보드 피복 고강도콘크리트 기둥의 내화성능 (The Fire Resistant Performance of the High-Strength Concrete Column Covered with Aerogel Compound Inorganic Blanket and Gypsum board)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate of fire resistive cladding systems for HSC(high-strength concrete) column, which was mainly constructed with aerogel blanket insulation material. The aerogel blanket-fire protective gypsum board cladding system showed that it clearly secure the fire resistance performance of HSC column when the reinforcing measures had achieved for four cross-sectional edge sides of structure and the system is well continued during the test period with no significant deformation or separation etc. It was checked out the 20mm thickness cladding system consist with AG(5mm)+FGB(15mm) can secure 3hour-fire resistance performance adequately.

  • 국내 초고층 프로젝트의 증가에 따라 필연적으로 고강도 콘크리트의 사용이 증가되고 있다. 콘크리트의 강도가 증가됨에 따라 화재시 단면결손을 유발하는 폭렬의 경향성이 커지고, 콘크리트부재 내부의 온도를 현저하게 증가시키며 심각한 구조적 손상을 유발할 수 있다는 문제점이 대두되었고, 정부에서도 2008년 7월부터 고강도 콘크리트의 내화성능 관리기준을 시행하고 있다. 이에 국내 각 건설사들은50MPa 이상의 고강도 콘크리트에 대하여 폭렬방지 대책을 수립 중에 있다. 본 연구소에서는 신축공사 및 리모델링공사에도 적용이 가능한 고강도 콘크리트 폭렬방지 공법인 PFB (Posco E&C Fire Board) 공법을 개발하여 지속적인 공법 개선에 노력하고 있다. 본 연구는 고강도 콘크리트 폭렬방지 대책으로 개발한 PFB 공법 개발에 대한 일반사항, 현재 건식화 공법 개발 및 당사 PJT적용 현황에 대한 내용을 기술하고자 한다.

  • This study proposes a method of generating steel house shop drawing in an automated design method, reducing construction manpower and period. With one hour fire-resistant approval code, reflecting work ability and efficiency, steel-framed house market is expected to extend from one or two story house to multi-purpose facilities up to four story height. More models have been constructed in this system than the first appearance of fire-resistant approval in Korea in 1997 Also, cost estimation of components such as frame walls, roof trusses and floors is obtained with shop drawings. Also, the lack of suppliers of steel framed house shop drawing and unstandardized drawing method get constructors have difficulty in understanding its design. In steel framed house industry, shop drawings are essential part in building and constructing framework and they have major effects on construction deadlines and expenses. By exploring method of shop drawing automation, this study aims to optimize work flow with a standardized drawing method. The proposed system can be applied to manufacturing automation in domestic industry of factory-built panelizing method in the near future.

  • This research aims to secure fundamental data for the development offire-retardant wood by soaking dried wood in fire-retardant liquid. To dry wood, optimal drying conditions for softwood usually used as structural material and hardwood usually used as finishing or furniture material were derived by varying the microwave outputs and heating times of microwave wood drying equipment. The research foundthat each specimen needs 8 to 15 minutes of heating time depending on water content and output. For softwood, fire-retardant liquid equivalent to about 10 percent of the total mass of the specimen infiltrated into the dried wood, of which the water content was reduced to 5~6 percent.

  • A growing number of larger and bigger tunnels are being constructed, along with the continuing enhancement of road design speed, thereby increasing the frequency of vehicles using tunnels. For such reasons, a fire in tunnels may lead to such situations. Gases and heat caused by fires are to be blamed for such disasters, as well as the development of vehicles leads to the construction of large tunnels. Therefore this study is to provide for the safety of public and rescue personnel in the event of a fire within the tunnel system. For these purpose, the tunnel system must be protected from collapse during a specified time period. This study introduced the role of ITA, it is to developed guidelines for techniques and materials to answer these structural requirements and make tunnels and their ancillary structures more resistant to fire damage.

폐석면의 활용을 위한 저온 용융처리에 대한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study on the low temperature melting treatment of waste asbestos for using)

  • As a reinforced fabric, asbestos has been utilized as a fire-resistant material as it has a superior flexural stiffness and heat resistance up to $1500^{\circ}C$. However, due to its harmfulness, its use has been prohibited recently and the even the installed asbestos materials are being repaired or supplemented if there is a concern about flying. Asbestos is mainly used for construction panels as a reinforced fabric and coating materials to ensure the fire-resistance of steel frames. Asbestos was used as fire-resistant materials for steel frames until 1991 and then prohibited as Act on Industrial Safety and Health limits the concentration of asbestos in the air. Classified as a designated waste according to Act on Waste Control, asbestos must be buried if there is no possibility of flying (panel-type materials) or cement-solidified and then buried if there is a possibility of flying (spray coating material) In general, it is required that a new waste landfill include a certain landfill facility for designated waste, but in reality there is an absolute storage of landfill facilities for designated waste as they only install facilities of the size required by the regulations. This could result in the 2nd environmental pollution as they cannot process asbestos wastes which will be generated in large volume in the future. This study explores a method that melts asbestos wastes at $700^{\circ}C$ rather than cement-solidifying the waste asbestos from construction sites, especially asbestos-containing spray coating. The study results showed that there was no change in the composition and shape even though asbestos wastes was melted at $1300^{\circ}C$, but there was a change for the specimen which was process in advance for low temperature melting and then melt at $900^{\circ}C$.

내화용 고강도 습식 스프레이 폴리머 모르타르의 화재 저항성 평가 (Evaluation of Wet-Mixed High Strength Sprayed Polymer Mortar for Fire Resistance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 화재에 의하여 붕괴 위험성이 있는 터널콘크리트 구조물을 보호하기 위해서 사용하는 습식 고강도 폴리머 스프레이 모르타르의 역학적 특성과 화재저항성을 평가하는 것이다. 본 연구의 주요 목적은 낮은 강도를 가지고 있어 내화재료로서 충분하지 않은 현재 사용되고 있는 재료의 단점을 극복하기 위하여 강도와 화재저항성을 동시에 증가시키는 것이다. 또한 습식 고강도 폴리머 스프레이 모르타르의 피복두께에 따른 내부온도분포를 평가하였으며 화재가 발생하였을 경우 터널콘크리트 구조물을 보호할 수 있는 습식 고강도 폴리머 스프레이 모르타르의 최적두께를 결정하였다. 본 연구의 결과 습식 고강도 폴리머 스프레이 모르타르는 현재 상용화되어 있는 내화용 재료와 비교하여 강도가 높았으며, 우수한 내화성능을 확보하였다. 무엇보다도 화재로부터 기존 구조물을 보호하기 위한 고강도 폴리머 모르타르의 최적 피복두께는 4cm이상 이었다.
