A Study on Satisfaction and Revisit Intention of Local Festival Visitors - Focused on Visitors’ Evaluation of Festival Image Attributes - (지역축제 방문객의 축제 이미지 평가에 따른 만족과 재방문 의사에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate satisfaction and revisit intention of Muju Firefly Festival visitors, based on visitors’ evaluation of festival images. The result of this research provided three major findings as belows. 1. The factor of “uniqueness of festival” among emotional image group and the factors of “festival spirit” and “educational impact” among cognitive image group contributed to the levels of visitor satisfaction. 2. The factors of “uniqueness of festival” and “traditionalism of festival” among emotional image group and the factors of “festival spirit” and “educational impact of festival” among cognitive image group influenced the revisit intention of festival visitors. 3. The factor of “uniqueness of festival” among emotional image group and factors of “festival spirit” and “educational impact” among cognitive image group had an impact on the intention of word of mouth.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the image of the feel of the local festival visitors participated in local festivals, the local festival image Impact on vistor's satisfaction, revisit and intention of recommendation. In addition, empirically how the visitor's satisfaction impact on their revisit and intention of recommendation. Analysis showed that local festival image factor is derived by three factors, such as cognitive image factor, emotional image factor, facility image factor. All three factors ware seen as the important factors affecting the visitor's facilities satisfaction, but only emotional image of the three images was a factor affecting the visitor's operating satisfaction. Above all should be considered cognitive image Among the three images(cognitive images, emotional images, facilities Images) To enhance the visitor's revisit and intention of recommendation. In other words, it is important that the position of local festival be considered. Should try to raise the quality of cognitive images to improve the visitor's satisfaction, revisit and intention of recommendation at the same time.

  • This research has analyzed the influence of information search on festival image, emotional response, re-visit intention and intention to share information. Image of festival was assumed to be composed of three components of cognitive, affective and unique image. Emotional response was divided into positive and negative emotion. As the results of influence analysis, word of mouth-effect and online media such as SNS had a significant effect on unique image of the festival. whereas official homepage showed a significant impact on cognitive image. Among three factors of image, affective image had a great influence on positive emotion. as three image factors are associated with positive emotion. Also, Affective emotion was analyzed to have significant influence on re-visit intention and intention to share information.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influencing relationship among image of the festival, city brand equity, and regional loyalty. For the study, questionnaires were handed out to the visitors of 2015 Andong International Maskdance Festival and a total of 289 copies were collected carrying out frequency analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, descriptive statistic analysis, correlation analysis, and structure equation model analysis. The result showed that image of the festival had influence on city brand equity and city brand equity had influence on regional loyalty. However, image of the festival did not have direct influence on regional loyalty. This research is expected to further extend the study of image of the festival and city brand equity, and the study of Andong International Maskdance Festival

  • This research the impacts of the tourism motivation and tourism product experimentiality to the korea national image and the results are as follow.
