  • Objective : This study was to find out whether there was a difference between parenting stress of parents with and without sensory defensiveness and level of the quality of life, to analyze the factors related with parenting stress of parents and quality of life and to develop intervention program to improve quality of life of parents that care children with problem on sensory process. Methods : The population of this study was consisted of 82 children aged from 3 to 7 years and was treated occupational therapy in clinics or welfare centers for disabled persons. Parenting stress was assessed with Parenting Stress Index and the quality of life scales used by Lee Jeong-Eun was used to assess the level of quality of life. Result : The difference between parenting stress with and without sensory defensiveness and level of quality of life was only shown in parenting stress, and the correlation between parenting stress with and without sensory defensiveness and quality of life indicated negative correlation in both sensory defensiveness and no sensory defensiveness group(r=-0.52, r=-0.65, p<0.05). This study found there was significant difference between quality of life factors affecting parenting stress of parents and parenting stress factors affecting quality of life in sensory defensiveness and no sensory defensiveness group. Conclusion : The study showed that clinicians must develop appropriative intervention program with sensory defensiveness or without sensory defensiveness for decreasing parenting stress and increasing quality of life for their parents.

The present study analyzed 2011 data of the Korea Community Health Survey and a total of 229,226 participants was included. To investigate the affecting factors of perceived stress, multiple logistic regression analyses were conducted. There were gender differences in affecting factors of perceived stress by education level, number of family members, household income, and self-care. This suggests that gender differences may exists between perceived stress level and health related quality of life. Further studies are necessary to investigate whether the cause of the gender differences in stress perception.

Through an extensive literature review, the questionnaire was developed and distributed to senior residents in 'A' silver town located in Gyeonggi-Do. Out of 254 questionnaires administered, a total of 212 completed questionnaires were returned, yielding a response rate of 83.5%. The results showed that there was a meaningful correlation between perception on foodservice quality and residence satisfaction. Among foodservice quality factors, reliability and comfort were the most important factors affecting residence satisfaction. Considering the effect of reliability and comfort factors on residence satisfaction, it is important to make a strategy to build up these factors in foodservice operation of silver town.

  • A reducing variation of quality characteristics is a typical example of quality improvement. In such a case, we treat the quality characteristic, as a response variable and need to find active factors affecting the response from many candidate factors since reducing the variation of the response will be achieved by reducing variation of the active factors. In this paper, we first derive a method of selecting an active factor by linear regression. It is well known that correlation between factors deteriorates the precision of estimators. We, therefore, examine robustness of the selecting method against the correlation in the data set and derive an evaluation method of the deterioration brought by the correlation. Furthermore, some examples of selecting and evaluation methods are shown to demonstrate practical usage of the methods.

  • This study aims to explore the Internet personal broadcasting quality factors that influence viewer satisfaction and dissatisfaction based on the motivation-hygiene theory. Specifically, the quality factors that affect viewer satisfaction of Internet personal broadcasting are derived from the perspectives of extrinsic (contents usefulness and media usability), intrinsic (emotional/cognitive/behavioral enjoyment and creator characteristics), and social motivation (visibility, subjective norm, image, sociality). The data of 200 respondents was used to analyze the relative impact of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with the Kano model, which assumes that viewer satisfaction at both functional and emotional levels varies over quality attributes. In the empirical analysis, the quality factors were classified into attractive, one-dimensional, must-be, and indifferent quality. In addition, it was found that the customer satisfaction coefficient was high in the order of uniqueness, differentiation, and visibility. On the other hand, as a result of applying the dissatisfaction coefficient, it was identified in the order of donation, content reliability, and creator responsiveness.

This study uses interview data on outpatients visiting clinics in about 1000 beds sized training hospital located in Seoul. This study uses casual relationship model for the analysis. This study finds that 1) the trust of care and the procedure of care significantly influence the value of care felt by patients, 2) the trust of care, quality of doctors' care, procedure of care significantly influence the patient satisfaction, 3) the trust of care increases the patient satisfaction, and 4) the value of care and the patient satisfaction increase revisit intention.

  • This study researches attributes , behaviors , satisfaction factors and degrees of curiosity of visitors to recreational forests in the suburbs of a large city. It aims to present suggestions for urban forest development and management policy by offering basic data which help to plan, design and manage recreational forests to increase the quality of these environments. The results are as follows First, in attribute, the visiting rate of males is higher than that of females, and the main users are in their thirties and forties. Sixty percent of visitors graduated from university and their rate of employment is evenly distributed. 95 percent of visitors are residents of the metropolitan area. In terms of behavior, major visitors are family units visiting during summer seasons and for overnight stays. 75% are re-visitors. 85% of visitors came to escape the city with families and friends, keep in good health and experience nature. Second, to extract the factors affecting visitor satisfaction in recreational forests, the natural environment, facilities, and management/use systems were identified as independent variables, while subordinate satisfactions were dependent variables. so regression analysis was used. Thus, the variables affecting the natural environment are quality of water, stream use, biodiversity, fresh air and landscape factors. The variables affecting facilities are puking, convenience, play facilities, sanitary arrangement and camping. Most important among the variables affecting management/use systems are educational facilities and access condition. On the basis of generalizing the study in the existing individual site, we must verify the visiting characteristics in recreational forests in the suburbs of a large city. Since development of recreational forests is understood as a sequence considering a site and a given condition, and since management and improvement must unfold according to these characteristics, a strategy is needed to reveal visitors' opinions about the site. Depending on the facilities and service, satisfaction of recreational forests is generally influenced by social and economic qualities. Also, this study can look into the effect according to use pattern motive and season. As suburban recreational forests have many overnight-users and younger men, programs suitable for these groups are needed. On the basis of variables affecting satisfaction according to natural environment, facilities, and use system, policies which can manage the natural environment and introduce educational programs are needed.

  • Purpose:?The purpose of this study is to analyze the causal relationship between top management 's leadership and construction quality management activities that affect construction management performance based on construction quality management. Methods:?As its method, the causal relationship between the leadership of top management and the key management factors of construction quality management activities affecting management performance is analyzed by using the structural equation model. The construction companies used in the analysis sample conducted surveys on companies that are conducting ISO, KOSHA, OHSAS, DQC, and so on. Results:?It was revealed that top management's leadership has a great influence on management performance and all management factors of construction quality management activities. However, safety management does not affect the management performance of construction quality management activities. And top management's leadership on management performance are explained by the mediating effect of cost, time, quality and communication among management factors of construction quality management activities. Conclusion:?In the previous study, the quality management activities and the ISO - based integrated total quality management system (TQM) applied in the manufacturing or service industries were presented as empirical results. However, this study presents the results of different studies by presenting empirical study results by selecting time, cost, quality, safety and communication as key management factors of quality management activities of construction companies through reviewing and analyzing previous studies in construction field.
