스퍼터링법을 이용한 OLED용 Al 전극의 제작 (Preparing of the AI electrode for OLED by Sputtering Methode)

  • In this study Al electrode for OLED was deposited by FTS(Facing Targets Sputtering) system which can deposit thin films with low substrate damage. The Al thin films were deposited on the cell(LiF/EML/HTL/Bottom electrode) as a function of working gas such as Ar, Kr or mixed gas. Also Al thin films were prepared with working gas pressure (1, 6 mTorr ). The film thickness and I-V curve of Al/cell were evaluated by $\alpha$-step and semiconductor parameter (HP4156A) measurement. In the results, when Al thin film were deposited using pure Ar gas, the turn-on voltage of Al/cell was about 11[V]. And the turn-on voltage of Al/cell can be decrease to about 7[V].

  • We prepared ZnO:Al thin films under various sputtering conditions by using facing targets sputtering (FTS) method. ZnO:Al thin films were deposited on polyethersulfon (PES) substrate which is the thickness of 200um at room temperature. the electrical, optical and crystallographic properties of ZnO:Al were investigated. From the results, prepared alll ZnO:Al thin films showed (002) diffraction peaks. ZnO:Al thin film with a resistivity of $8.4{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}cm$ and a transmittance of over 80% in visible range was obtained.

  • The ITO thin films were prepared by FTS (Facing Targets Sputtering) system on polycarbonate(PC) substrate. The ITO thin films were deposited with a film thickness of 100nm at room temperature. As a function of sputtering conditions, electrical and optical properties of prepared ITO thin films were measured. The electrical and optical characteristics of the ITO thin films were evaluated by Hall Effect Measurement(EGK) and UV-VIS spectrometer(HP), respectively. From the results, the ITO thin film was deposited with a resistivity $8{\times}10^{-4}[{\Omega}-cm]$ and transmittance over 80%.

  • We prepared ZnO thin films coating Ag on glass substrates at room temperature by using facing targets sputtering (FTS) method. ZnO thin films were deposited with same conditions. Ag with various thickness of thin films were used as intermediate layers. The electrical, optical and crystallographic properties of thin films were investigated by Four-Point probe, UV/VIS spectrometer and XRD. From the results, we could confirm that the thickness of Ag layer changes the electrical and optical performances of the multilayers.

  • We prepared the Al doped ZnO (AZO) thin film on polyethersulfon (PES) without any substrate heating by Facing Targets Sputtering (FTS) system. ZnO doped the content of Al 2 wt% was used and the sputtering conditions were gas pressure 1mTorr and input power 100W. The electrical, structural and optical properties of AZO thin films were investigated. To investigate the as-deposited thin film properties, we employed four-point probe, UV/VIS spectrometer, X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Hall Effect measurement system and Atomic Force Microscope (AFM).

  • Indium tin oxide(ITO) films were prepared as a function of varying the proportion of oxygen$[0{\sim}1.0sccm]$ at fixed he gas[20sccm] by facing targets sputtering(FTS) system. Then electrical and optical properties of ITO thin films were estimated by Hall effect measurement system and UV/VIS-spectrometer. In the result, at very little oxygen rate, we can prepare a low resistivity ITO thin film of $3.40{\times}10^{-4}[\Omega{\cdot}cm]$ and transmittance of over 80%. So we noticed that the ITO thin film with low resistivity and high transmittance was prepared by FTS at room temperature.

  • In this study, AZO(ZnO:Al) thin film were prepared by FTS(Facing Target Sputtering) system. The electrical, optical properties and crystalline of AZO thin film with thickness have been investigated. The thickness, transmittance, crystalline and electrical properties of AZO thin film were measured by a-step, UV-VIS spectrometer, hall effect measurement system, XRD and four-point probe, respectively. As a result, AZO thin film deposited with the transmittance over 80% and the resistivity about $10^{-4}\;\Omega-cm$.

Effect of Heat Treatment on Magnetic and Electrical Properties of AlN Films with Co Particles

  • AlN thin films containing various amounts of Co, AlN-Co, and Al-Co alloy particles were prepared using a two-facing-target type dc reactive sputtering (TFTS) system. The as-deposited films exhibited the variable nature expected from an AlN-rich phase, and an amorphous-like phase, depending on the Co content in the films. Specific favorable microstructures were prepared by optimizing annealing conditions. Those microstructures and their magnetic properties and resistivity were investigated. As-deposited films showed very small saturation magnetization and an amorphous-like structure. However, when annealed, the as-deposited amorphous-like phase decomposes into phases of AlN, Co and Al-Co. These annealing induced changes in the microstructure improve the magnetization and resistivity of the films. Further improvement of soft magnetic properties could lead to the material being used for high density magnetic recording head material.

Monte Carlo simulations of chromium target under proton irradiation of 17.9, 22.3 MeV

  • Chromium material is commonly used for fusion plasma facing applications because of the low neutron activation property. The Monte Carlo method is one of the useful ways to investigate the ion-target interactions. In this study, Chromium target irradiated by protons was investigated using Monte Carlo based simulation tools. In this context, the calculations of radiation damage on Chromium material irradiated with protons at 17.9 and 22.3 MeV energies were carried out using GEANT4 and SRIM codes. Besides, the cross sections for proton interaction with Chromium target were calculated by the TALYS 1.9 code using CTM + FGM, BSFGM, and GSFM level densities. As a result, GEANT4, SRIM and TALYS 1.9 codes provide a suitable tool for the predictions of radiation damage and cross cross section with proton irradiation.

마주보는 대칭렌즈를 가지는 MWIR용 초점거리 24mm의 비구면 결상광학계 설계 (Design of Aspheric Imaging Optical System having 24mm Focal Length for MWIR with Facing Symmetric Lenses)

  • 본 연구는 마주보는 두 대칭렌즈를 가지는 초점거리 24mm 인 MWIR($3{\sim}5{\mu}m$)용 결상광학계의 설계 개발에 관한 것이다. 광학계는 CodeV를 사용하여 설계하였으며, 사용자의 요구조건을 만족할 수 있는 분해능과 화각을 가지도록 최적화 과정을 진행하였다. 렌즈의 초자는 국내에서 개발된 $3{\mu}m$에서 굴절률 1.7589를 갖는 초자( KCIR035 )를 포함하여 두 종류로 제한하였다. 이렇게 설계되어진 광학계는 같은 모양을 갖는 KCIR035 초자의 2장의 비구면 렌즈와 1장의 Si 초자의 구면 렌즈로 이루어져 있다. 여기서 2장의 비구면 렌즈의 배치는 마주보는 대칭구조를 이루고 있는 것이 특징이다. 그리고 이 광학계는 선폭 20lp/mm에서 MTF값이 0.35 이상인 분해능을 갖게 되었다. 따라서 이 광학계는 pixel의 크기가 $25{\mu}m$$206{\times}156$ 어레이 MWIR 검출소자를 사용하는 열영상 카메라에 적용할 수 있는 성능을 가진 것으로 판단된다.
