  • Exterior walls are designed and constructed through design focused exterior wall system. Nowadays, freeform facade design has been changing according to material, form and function of the exterior wall system. Especially, curtain wall facade system is designed and manufactured using solar shading faces. However, the traditional method have a lot of difficulties in the currently performing technology for curtain wall facade. It is important to make the freeform facade components that integrated as a surface of freeform buildings. Therefore it is necessary to develop unit module construction method for freeform facade.

  • The construction industry has made great strides in the past decades by utilizing computer programs including CAD. However, compared to other manufacturing sectors, labor productivity is low due to the high proportion of workers' knowledge-based task in addition to simple repetitive task. Therefore, the knowledge-based task efficiency of workers should be improved by recognizing the visual information of computers. A computer needs a lot of training data, such as the ImageNet project, to recognize visual information. This study, aim at proposing building facade datasets that is efficiently constructed by quickly collecting building facade data through portal site road view and automatically labeling using deep learning as part of construction of image dataset for visual recognition construction by the computer. As a method proposed in this study, we constructed a dataset for a part of Dongseong-ro, Daegu Metropolitan City and analyzed the utility and reliability of the dataset. Through this, it was confirmed that the computer could extract the significant facade information of the portal site road view by recognizing the visual information of the building facade image. Additionally, In contribution to verifying the feasibility of building construction image datasets. this study suggests the possibility of securing quantitative and qualitative facade design knowledge by extracting the facade design knowledge from any facade all over the world.

  • Facade structure system plays an important role in modern architecture and design. Many contractors start using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to help design and lay-out façade walls in recent years. However, there are still some users refuse to accept BIM on façade construction. Therefore, we employed Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to assess the users acceptable of BIM work flow, with using a practical case of facade construction in Chongqing Wanda City. The factors that will affect the builder's decision of whether using BIM or not when construct façade, and the relationship among them will be found via this model. Through the analysis using TAM, this research found that the direct factors influencing the completely acceptance of BIM in façade construction is the BIM quality and Result Demonstrating, and the parameter impacting the intuition engendering is the Exterior Condition. Therefore, this paper proposes a more systemic model of BIM acceptance in curtain wall to analyze the user's acceptance. The solution can also offer a reference for future research and construct on façade structure. The acceptance model has the significance that it can help to analyze the reason why users refuse to use BIM in façade construction, thus to help users accept BIM.

브랜드 아파트의 주동 입면 디자인에 대한 소비자들의 선호도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Preference of Consumers for facade Design with Brand Concepts in Apartments)

  • In the recent years, domestic construction companies have tried to differentiate their apartments using brand positioning. Respective construction companies are attracting public attention with discriminative brands. This study investigated residents' preferences focusing on apartments facade design used in marketing strategy of brand apartments. Four concepts in surveyed brand apartments are deluxe, modern, eco-friendly and comfortable. According to the related study on design factor of apartment facade, the design factors are chosen such as the overall building shape, balcony form, main color, exterior wall shape, material, main access shape, pent house design and window size. As a result of analysis, there was a difference between brand concepts and consumers' views. Therefore, apartment facade design to differentiate their own companies' brand images should consider the perception of customers.

  • 이 연구는 발광다이오드(LED)를 이용한 미디어 파사드의 시공 전 상황을 미리 재현하고 의사결정의 중요한 방법으로 사용되는 시뮬레이션 영상 제작 과정과 기술, 그리고 다양한 표현방법들의 장단점을 분석한 것이다. 슈퍼그래픽으로부터 출발된 건물 외관 치장은 야간활동이 많아진 요즘의 시대적 분위기를 타고 LED시공으로까지 이어졌다. 초기의 슈퍼그래픽은 단순히 캐드 도면을 보고 의사결정을 할 정도였지만 오늘날 미디어 파사드 시공은 그렇게 간단히 의사결정 할 수 있는 문제가 아니다. 이는 엄청난 시공비도 한 몫 하지만 건물의 아이덴티티와 주변 상황과의 어울림을 함께 고민해야하는 문제이기 때문에 더욱 그렇다. 연구 결과인 미디어 파사드 시공 시뮬레이션의 다양한 표현 방법과 과정 분석, 그리고 장단점 파악은 시공규모와 시뮬레이션 목적에 따라 선택을 달리 할 수 있는 기준을 제시하고, 클라이언트의 다양한 요구에 빠르게 대응할 수 있는 방안을 제시할 것이다.

  • Cable net system openness and flexibility is good high and the large deflection caused no damage to the structure itself. However, cable installation, install complex systems and technologies are needed. In this study, for the basic materials of cable net construction management, cable net expert's advice and mock-up test results are summarized.

  • Recently, solar control facade systems are highlighted due to its low cost and outstanding applicability for green remodeling. However, it has not been long time since the systems were introduced. Therefore, the application study of the solar control system also has been insufficient. In this study, simulated models were developed and three types of solar control systems(i.e., overhang, blind, and screen)are installed in the models. The efficiency of energy savings and investment payback period according to the application of solar control facade system were analyzed.

  • 건설산업은 수요층의 질적 성장에 따른 건축물 설계의 다양화가 이루어져 왔다. 하지만 이러한 시도는 중 장기적으로 발생할 수 있는 하자에 대한 인식이 부족하여 오히려 건축물의 가치가 하락하는 문제를 야기하였다. 때문에 건축물의 특성과 하자에 대한 관계를 명확히 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 개념을 건축물 외부에 적용하여 건축물 입면 요소와 하자에 대한 관계를 정량화하는 기법을 제안하였다. 이는 기존에 정성적, 경험적으로 인지했던 입면 요소와 하자의 관계를 정량적으로 제시하여 명확한 관계를 파악할 수 있는 특징이 있다. 본 연구는 이를 픽셀화기법이라 지칭하였으며, 이는 건축물의 입면을 단위구획으로 구분하여 단위구획의 특성에 따른 코드를 부여함으로써 데이터화하는 기법이다. 본 연구에서 제안한 픽셀화기법을 통해 건축물 입면 요소와 하자에 대한 관계를 정량화하고, 이에 대한 능동적 대처 방안의 기틀을 구축하는데 일조하고자 한다.

  • In the case of the Busan North Port, where the Busan Opera House is located, it is an environment exposed to various external deterioration factors such as frequent strong winds, seawater and salty winds, and an exterior material using UHPC (Ultra High Performance Concrete), a highly durable exterior material as a solution to this. Has been adopted. in this study, an economical production and construction direction was reviewed by applying UHPC to the exterior panels of atypical buildings that cannot cope with GFRC, metal, and glass, which are the main exterior finishing materials applied so far. When steel fibers are used, structural performance may be better than organic fibers, but due to environmental factors in Busan, corrosion due to exposure to steel fibers or problems with safety management after construction and completion may occur. Therefore, the site used the newly developed SACF fiber. Facade design of atypical buildings, which will increase in the future, is an important part, and the scope of use of UHPC panels is expected to increase in the future as design trends and demand for high durability increase.
