First, we show the finiteness property of the homotopy fixed point set of p-discrete toral group. Let $G_\infty$ be a p-discrete toral group and X be a finite complex with an action of $G_\infty such that X^K$ is nilpotent for each finit p-subgroup K of $G_\infty$. Assume X is $F_\rho-complete$. Then X(sup)hG$\infty$ is F(sub)p-finite. Using this result, we give the condition so that X$^{hG}$ is $F_\rho-finite for \rho-compact$ toral group G.

In this work, we study generalized integral type F-contractions in partial metric spaces and establish some common fixed point theorems. Also, we give some consequences of the established result. Our results extend and generalize several results from the existing literature.

We investigate the general solution of the following functional equation and the generalized Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability problem in quasi ${\beta}$-normed spaces and then the stability by using alternative fixed point method for the following quintic function $f:X{\rightarrow}Y$ such that f(3x+y)+f(3x-y)+5[f(x+y)+f(x-y)]=4[f(2x+y)+f(2x-y)]+2f(3x)-246f(x), for all $x,y{\in}X$.

In this paper, using fixed point method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the following functional equation $$(k+1)f(x+y)+f(x+{\sigma}(y))+kf({\sigma}(x)+y)-2(k+1)f(x)-2(k+1)f(y)=0$$ with an involution ${\sigma}$ for a fixed non-zero real number k with $k{\neq}-1$.

In this paper, we investigate the stability of a functional equation f(x + 3y) - 5f(x + 2y) + 10f(x + y) - 8f(x) + 5f(x - y) - f(x - 2y) - 2f(-x) - f(2x) + f(-2x) = 0 by using the fixed point theory in the sense of L. Cǎdariu and V. Radu.

We introduce (CLRg) property for hybrid pair $F:X{\times}X{\rightarrow}2^X$ and $g:X{\rightarrow}X$. We also introduce joint common limit range (JCLR) property for two hybrid pairs $F,G:X{\times}X{\rightarrow}2^X$ and $f,g:X{\rightarrow}X$. We also establish some common coupled fixed point theorems for hybrid pair of mappings under generalized (${\psi},{\theta},{\varphi}$)-contraction on a noncomplete metric space, which is not partially ordered. It is to be noted that to find coupled coincidence point, we do not employ the condition of continuity of any mapping involved therein. As an application, we study the existence and uniqueness of the solution to an integral equation. We also give an example to demonstrate the degree of validity of our hypothesis. The results we obtain generalize, extend and improve several recent results in the existing literature.

In this paper, we investigate the stability problems for a functional equation f(x + 2y)+f(x - 2y) - 4f(x + y) - 4f(x - y) + 6f(x) - 2f(2y) + 12f(y) - 4f(-y) = 0 by using the fixed point theory in the sense of L. C˘adariu and V. Radu.

Using fixed point method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the orthogonally additive functional equation (0.1) $f(2x+y)=2f(x)+f(y)$ and of the orthogonally quadratic functional equation (0.2) $2f(\frac{x}{2}+y)+2f(\frac{x}{2}-y)=f(x)+4f(y)$ for all $x$, $y$ with $x{\perp}y$ in orthogonality spaces.

Let(X, $\Im$) be a probabilistic metric space with a t-norm. Common fixed point theorems and convergence theorems generalizing the results of Ćirić, Fisher, Sehgal, Istrătescu-Săcuiu and others are proved for three mappings P,S,T on X satisfying $F_{Pu, Pv}(qx){\geq}min\left{F_{Su,Tv}(x),F_{Pu,Su}(x),F_{Pv,Tv}(x),F_{Pu,Tv}(2x),F_{Pv,Su}(2x)\right}$ for every $u, v {\in}X$, all x>0 and some $q{\in}(0, 1)$. In this paper, we introduce a new class of mappings called the generalized orthogonal F-Suzuki contraction for a family of multivalued mappings in the setup of orthogonal b-metric spaces. We established the existence of some common fixed point results without using any commutativity condition for this new class of mappings in orthogonal b-metric spaces. Moreover, we illustrate and support these common fixed point results with example. The results obtained in this work generalize and extend some recent and classical related results in the existing literature.
