Coastal states are adopting maritime boundary delimitation as their primary maritime policy because maritime jurisdiction directly relates to vast economic interest. This becomes specially important and sensitive when complex maritime boundary issues are involved between neighboring coastal states. China has not actively carried out nor declared maritime boundary delimitation until recently with any country except Agreement between China and Viet Nam on the demarcation of the territorial water, the exclusive economic zones and the continental shelf of China and Vet Nam in the Gulf of Tonkin on 25 December 2000 (hereinafter, the Gulf of Tonkin Agreement). The principles that governs maritime boundary delimitation are to consider primarily an agreement between States concerned, however, if no agreement can be reached, all relevant circumstances are considered to achieve an equity between concerned States. Relevant circumstances are length of coastline, form of coastline, existence and position of island or islands, speciality of geology/topography, and factor of economy and deffnce. Factors which sinologists are considering in regard to continental shelf delimitation of the Yellow Sea are as follows; i) geographical factor, ii) geological factor, iii) topographical factor, iv) environment and ecological (factor, v) historic interest, and vi) social and economic interest. The 'Gulf of Tonkin Agreement' is completed by basically applying the principle of delimitation according to median line which seems that China has adopted the maritime boundary delimitation principle of 'half and half' which was the intention of chinese government. At the same time, China recognized Viet Nam's dominion and sovereign right over the partial exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf of Dao Bach Long Vi in Gulf of Tonkin. This case can be considered as an example of mutual concession or compromise in delimiting maritime boundary for states of concerned.

공동주택의 리모델링에서는, 견해차와 이해의 대립으로 프로젝트추진이 지연되는 경우가 많다. 이러한 분쟁은 공용부분과 전용부분의 애매한 경계선과 구분 때문인 경우가 많다. 본 연구에서는 한국과 일본의 현행관리규약이 이와 같은 관점에서 고찰되었다. 결론을 간추리면 다음과 같다. 1)현행관리규약에 의하면, 소유, 사용 및 관리의 정의에 있어서 일본이 한국보다 구체적이다. 2)공용부분과 전유부분의 구분은 외벽의 내측선이 한국과 일본에서 공통적으로 기준이 되어있다. 그러나 한국은 일본 보다 목적과 실행, 정의와 기술에서 일관성이 부족하다. 3)일본은 공유의 위계를 단지-주동-개별 주호로 구분하여 정의하고 있으나, 한국은 그렇지 않다. 4)일본은 전용으로 사용되는 공유부분에 대하여 정의 하고 있으나, 한국은 그렇지 않다.

There are two methods for evaluating two or more mutually exclusive projects. One is a total investment approach and the other is an incremental investment approach. The former can rank projects by the criterion of the net present value, but the latter can't do it. An incremental investment approach is only possible when all pairwise alternatives are compared. Thus an incremental investment approach is superior in ranking them over an incremental investment approach. To do so, a principle of comparison must be established. Comparisons of profitability are reasonable when operating the same amount of investment over the same period of time. One principle is that all projects are invested in the largest of the projects. Another principle is that all projects are invested during the longest project life of the projects. In this paper, even if the principle is followed, it will be shown that the external rate of return fails to rank them. However, the productive rate of return criterion would prove to be able to rank them like the net present value standard, provided that the principle of comparison is kept. In addition, rate of returns can be assessed so that all mutually exclusive projects can be compared at once, such as on the criterion of the net present value. That is, it can be also compared with many other returns, such as the profit rates on financial investments or real investments.

In order to comprise a basic closed-loop control system for hydraulic systems it is necessary to detect the piston rod stroke of a hydraulic cylinder. There are many conventional type sensors which can detect the displacement of cylinders. However, they cannot reveal the original performance normally or they cannot be applied at all where the operating circumstance of cylinders is beyond specifications of sensors. Especially, for the purpose of detecting the strokes of cylinders mounted on heavy equipments, a special exclusive sensor must be used because the operating circumstances of heavy equipments are so severe that general purpose sensors cannot endure such circumstance as shock and a residual vibration induced by rough works. In this paper, an exclusive method for detecting the piston rod stroke for heavy equipments is suggested, which adopts a remote detecting technique using optical fiber sensors. Several experiments using the prototype are executed for verifying the effectiveness of the suggested method and the possibility of the accurate detection of stroke.

The distinctive design of apparel product is the crucial factor that provides the powerful competitive advantage and customer satisfaction. However, knock-offs or copycats easily copy the design of apparel product and its problem tends to be assented in real world. Design right is one of intellectual property rights that would be produced by intellectual activity and the appropriate means to establish the exclusive rights to the design should be established. Legal protection to the design right is the system that can prelude copycats from eroding an exclusive position in the market place. The present study was to analyze the trend of registration of design rights in apparel products and to point out problems of current protection law to design.

Recent time, there appear many cases of remodeling construction concluding enlargement of exclusive using area in Apartment. These constructions show several phases according to the size of apartment and use of the each room. In small size apartment the cause of enlargement construction is usually the desire for having enough dwelling space. But in large size apartment that is usually the desire for having usuful and effective dwelling space. In these remodeling constructions owner or designer change the interior design of each rooms and the Intoner materials. These changes show several tendencies by the sizes of apartments and use of the each room.

The parity function can be implemented with XOR (exclusive-OR) and XNOR (exclusive NOR) circuit. In this paper we propose a high performance XOR-XNOR circuit. The proposed circuitreduced the internal load capacitance on critical path and implemented with 8 transistors. The circuit produces a perfect output signals for all input combinations. Compared with the previous circuits, the proposed circuit presents the improved characteristics in average propagation delay time, power dissipation, power-delay product (PDP), and energy-delay-product (EDP). The proposed circuits are implemented with standard CMOS 0.18um technology. Computer simulations using SPICE show that the proposed circuit realizes the expected logic functions and achieves a reasonable performance.

A method of frequency multipling of square waveforms is described and an integrable frequency multiplier which is fully compatible with IC technology, and made use of only bipolar transistors and resistors is proposed. The circuit is composed of only integrable time delay circuits and exclusive OR gates. Hence the circuit shows some useful characteristics.
