본 논문은 현대미술 감상을 통한 환경교육이 유아의 환경보전지식, 환경보전태도 및 미술 감상능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 경기도 평택에 위치한 D어린이집의 만5세 유아 총 30명(실험집단 15명, 비교집단15명)을 대상으로 현대미술 감상을 통한 환경교육을 실시하였다. 사전검사와 사후검사의 차이를 분석한 결과, 실험집단의 환경보전지식, 환경보전태도 및 미술 감상능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 활용하여 유아교육현장에서 유아의 환경보전지식, 환경보전태도 및 미술 감상능력을 증진 할 수 있는 기초자료 및 교수방법을 제시하는 것에 그 목적이 있다.

1. To define 'Korean medicine industry' through study on existing medicine related industries, Korean medicine industry means all industrial activities related to Korean medicine. It covers material resources such as herbs and products made with herbs, medical instruments, Korean medical service and related information service based on Korean medicine theories. 2. According to Korea National Statistical Office standard industrial branch, Korean medicine industry was classified as a large branch. There were industries such as agriculture, food and beverage manufacture, publishing, copy of prints and record media, manufacture of compound and chemical products, medical service, manufacture of precise optical instruments, wholesale trade and product mediation, retail trade, restaurant, research and development, education service, health preservation service, entertainment, culture and sports industry related to the Korean medicine industry. 3. If we classify this according to the industry branch of English economists Clark, Colin Grant, herb cultivating industry will be classified as primary industry, manufacture of foot and beverage related to Korean medicine, secondary industry and wholesale and retail sales of herb, research and development, education, health preservation, social welfare, tertiary industries.

The study analyzed 343 government-authorized and officially approved textbooks of the Seventh Curriculum's specialized subjects in high school from March to September, 2007. The textbooks were categorized into the area of agriculture, industry, commerce, household and business, science, foreign languages and physical exercise and analyzed in terms of the target and content areas of marine education. And the findings were as follows: First, among the textbooks in the seven groups serving as the focus of this study, 19.8% have oceanic-related information but pages including ocean contents occupy only 0.8%. Consequently ocean-related contents are scarcely included. The ocean-related contents are necessary to be treated goals. Second, the goals of school oceanic education are focused in vocational subjects. In order of commonality, information & knowledge are most frequent, then functionality, followed by activity & participation. There was no education provided focusing on value & attitude. Given that school oceanic educations were selected for promoting the importance of the ocean and highlighting the problems of the ocean, the lack of information & knowledge is of concern. The goals of oceanic education should be augmented to actively and positively participate in the solutions of the problems with knowledge, ocean-friendly value & attitude, and increased activity & participation. Third, the contents of school oceanic education commonly focuses on the relationships of oceans and humans, oceans and ecology, and artificial oceanic environments and facilities. Less common but still introduced are ocean resources, sea pollution, sea preservation and measures. Yet, in contrast there is a lack of education in the ethics of sea preservation.

A thermal desorption-gas chromatography/mass spectrometric method was developed for the determination of methyl bromide in fumes formed during preservation of cultural materials from insects. Methyl bromide in lunes was collected by drawing 10ι of air through the adsorbent tube filled with a solid adsorbent (Chromosorb). The air samples were analyzed by using a special thermal desorption device and GC/MS determination. The recovery of methyl bromide by air sampling was 88% and the detection limit of the assay was 0.1 pptv based upon assayed air of 10ι. The method was applied to the determination of fumed methyl bromide used for the preservation of papers in a library. The mean concentration of methyl bromide determined in a library was 280.2 $\pm$ 25.4 pptv.

In the Study of Poem in Health-Preservation, the results were as follows : Though poetry as therapy is a relatively new development in the expressive arts, it is as old as the first chants sung around the tribal fires of primitive peoples. For many centuries the link between poetry and medicine remained obscure. The chant/song/poem is what heals the heart and soul and is used for health-Preservation and the well-being. Poetry Therapy began to flourish in the hands of professional in various disciplines, including rehabilitation, education, library science, recreation, and the creative arts. Mental health professional were exploring the therapeutic value of literary materials, especially of poetry. Their contribution to the emerging discipline was two-fold : 1) emphasis on the evocative value of literature, particularly poetry; and 2) recognition of the beneficial potential of having clients write either their response to poems written by others or original material, drawing on the clients' own experiences and emotions. Especially in Oriental Medicine, the therapy is based on controlling of Mind(心). And it is in harmony with Qi-circulation(氣-循環), so smoothing the circulation of meridians, strengthened Essential-material(精), Qi(氣), Sprit(神).

The purpose of this study is to suggest the integration of environmental education between South and North Korea in preparation for unification. The results of this study are as follows; Firstly, environmental education in North Korea is in the incipient stage as of the environment protection, the prevention of air pollution. It also emphasizes ideology education rather than sustainability. Secondly, the suggestion for the unification and the synthesizing of its environment together with the 3-stages of unification process. It can be presented as a role and function of environmental education in Unified Korea and consciousness and practical effort for the environmental preservation. In conclusions, the result of this study could contribute macro-view on the integration of socio-eco gab between South and North Korea in preparation for unification.

We investigated the education process of an environmental experiment in middle and high school. The major objective was that students understand about biological toxicity of endocrine disruptor. We used bisphenol A in environmental experiment to educate them about the effects of endocrine disruptor. The test animal was zebrafish (Danio rerio, wild type) which is very easy to use in the school experiment class. We educated the high school students (n=25) in Suwon through this teaching program. Finally we analyzed the effect of research education between two groups, education students (test) and non-education students (control). This experiment showed there were some positive effects on environmental reorganization of students. They understood the affect of endocrine disruptors in fish and man. Specifically, understanding the importance of preservation of ecosystem increased in the test-education group.

Bacillus velezensis strain WRN014 was isolated from banana fields in Hainan, China. Bacillus velezensis is an important member of the plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) which can enhance plant growth and control soil-borne disease. The complete genome of Bacillus velezensis WRN014 was sequenced by combining Illumina Hiseq 2500 system and Pacific Biosciences SMRT high-throughput sequencing technologies. Then, the genome of Bacillus velezensis WRN014, together with 45 other completed genome sequences of the Bacillus velezensis strains, were comparatively studied. The genome of Bacillus velezensis WRN014 was 4,063,541bp in length and contained 4,062 coding sequences, 9 genomic islands and 13 gene clusters. The results of comparative genomic analysis provide evidence that (i) The 46 Bacillus velezensis strains formed 2 obviously closely related clades in phylogenetic trees. (ii) The pangenome in this study is open and is increasing with the addition of new sequenced genomes. (iii) Analysis of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) revealed local diversification of the 46 Bacillus velezensis genomes. Surprisingly, SNPs were not evenly distributed throughout the whole genome. (iv) Analysis of gene clusters revealed that rich gene clusters spread over Bacillus velezensis strains and some gene clusters are conserved in different strains. This study reveals that the strain WRN014 and other Bacillus velezensis strains have potential to be used as PGPR and biopesticide.

The purpose of this paper is to forecast the future of library education in Korea. Toward this purpose, first, the historical events of library education in the United States of America and in the United Kingdom are introduced along with the IFLA Standards for Library Schools and the Unesco's General Information Programme. Secondly, the theoretical foundations of library education are extracted from the events. Thirdly, the factors influencing library education as well as library developments are identified, and, finally, the prospects of library education are forecasted in the light of the various factors in the Korean society and the theoretical foundations. The prospects are forecasted as follows: 1. The education for information science will be incorporated in library education. 2. The number of courses related to library services and uses will be increased. 3. The students should be provided with enough hands-on experiences to be familiar with new information technology. 4. The cooperation between library schools and libraries will be reinforced. 5. The departments of library science will cooperate with other departments in the universities in order to utilize the expertise and facilities. 6. The education of graduate schools will be specialized to produce subject specialist librarians and the undergraduate education will produce public and school librarians. 7. Opportunities for continuing education will be provided more and librarians encouraged to participate in those activities. 8. Library association should actively be involved in library education as a provider of continuing education or as a liaison between library schools and libraries. 9. The courses of foundations including library history, library research and preservation of culture will never be neglected.
