여행업 종업원 교육훈련이 내부환경요인과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Education and Training of Travel Industry's Employees upon Internal Environmental Factor and Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 교육훈련이 기업내부환경과 직무만족에 직접적인 영향을 미친다는 선행연구를 통해 기업내부환경과 직무에 미치는 영향의 중요성을 인식하고, 내부환경요소와 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 구체적으로 분석 보완할 필요가 있다는 데 중점을 두고자 하였다. 여행업 교육훈련에 대한 재정립은 물론 교육훈련에 따른 종업원의 직무만족에 미치는 영향력에 대한 실증적인 분석을 통해 내부환경과 직무만족과의 연관성을 분석 구축하고, 종업원의 잠재능력 개발의 중요성을 인식함과 동시에 직무만족에 도움이 될 수 있는 시사점을 제시하는데 있다. 실증적인 분석결과로 여행업 종업원 교육훈련은 여행업 종업원들의 교육훈련동기와 성취욕구, 능력이 항상 갖추어지고, 여행업체 상사나 동료의 지원 또는 환경 분위기가 조성이 될 때 종업원의 직무만족을 이끌어 낼 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 여행업체의 조직내부환경 개선은 물론 여행업과 관련정부기관에서도 종업원 교육훈련의 중요성을 인지하고, 교육훈련에 장기적인 투자와 지원으로 적극적인 전문교육훈련체계 실시가 무엇보다도 필수적이라 본다.

  • 본 연구는 코로나19 위기 상황에 대처하기 위하여 직업훈련 사업별로 단선적으로 이루어져 왔던 원격훈련 도입 관련 제도 운영 실태에 대하여 심사에서부터 비용집행에 이르기까지의 과정을 주체별, 단계별, 절차별로 구분하여 문제점과 한계점을 분석하였다. 이후 이해관계자들의 의견을 다각적으로 수렴하여, 디지털·비대면 시대의 직업훈련 패러다임 전환에 부응할 수 있는 직업훈련 지원체제의 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 특히 기존 전통적인 집체훈련 중심의 프레임에서 벗어나 디지털·비대면 시대의 직업훈련 방향성을 수용할 수 있는 방향으로 훈련기관, 훈련과정의 심사·평가 제도가 혁신되어야 한다는 기본 전제하에, 사전 승인 심사 제도와 훈련기관 인증평가 제도의 개선방안을 제시하였다.

일개 대학병원 직원의 인사고과성적 예측요인 (The Predictors of Employees' Personnel Rating at a University Hospital in Korea)

  • This study purports to investigate the determinants of individual personnel rating of the employees at a university hospital in Seoul, Korea. The sample used in this study consisted of 63 nurses, 41 para-medical staff (Clinical Pathologist, and Radiologist), and 67 administrative staff. Independent variables of the study included the achievement level of the selection test (English, major subject, and interview), post-entrance development factors (education and training, career development, supervisory support, co-worker support, and organizational support), and demographic characteristics. Data for the achievement level of the entrance exam and years for the first promotion were collected from the administrative records of the study hospital, while data for the post-entrance development factors were collected from the survey with self-administered questionnaires using 5-point Likert Scale during June 10-25, 2003. Collected data were analyzed using hierarchical multiple regression. The results of the study showed that achievement level of the interview and English exam at the selection test, education and training, organizational support, and supervisory support while working at the hospital, and length of duration (below 8 years) and educational background (4-year college graduates) among demographic variables had significant positive effects on the personnel rating. The results of the study imply that hospital administrators should make an effort to improve the validity of the selection test, and to motivate the employees to receive more education and training.

Analysis of Strategies for Quality Assurance in Online Education: The Implications of the Role of an Instructional Design Team to Support Faculty

  • This study investigates faculty support for quality assurance in online education, and offers suggestions for its improvement based on feedback from Instructional Design (ID) staff working at a public university in the U.S. Qualitative research using semi-structured interviews was conducted with seven ID staff in order to examine their perceptions regarding faculty support related to quality assurance in online education. The results of the data analysis indicate that four types of faculty support-quality assurance reviews using Quality Matter (QM) standards, templates, individual consultations with ongoing support, and monitoring-were offered for faculty. Faculty support for quality assurance in online education could be improved by developing specific quality assurance standards, recruiting external experts, examining learning effects, developing a quality assurance management system, and sharing documents among ID staff. This study highlights the necessity of quality assurance in online education and provides cases of faculty support in a real higher education setting.

교사연수 성과평가를 통한 2015 통합과학 교육과정 현장 정착 방안 탐색 (Exploration of Support Plans for 2015 Integrated Science Curriculum through the Performance Evaluation of Implemented Teacher Training Programs)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 교육과정의 신설과목인 통합과학의 현장안착을 지원하기 위해 교육부에서 실시한 통합과학 선도교원 연수에 대한 성과평가를 통해 통합과학 교육과정 지원 방안을 도출하려는 것이다. 2017년도 통합과학 선도교원연수를 중심으로 연수에 참여한 교사들이 개발한 연수 산출물, 연수강사로 참여한 과학교사들과의 심층면담 등을 분석하여 통합과학 선도교원 연수에서 드러난 통합과학 교육과정의 특성과 통합과학 교육과정 현장 안착을 위한 지원 방안을 도출하였다. 2017년도 통합과학 선도교원 연수에 참여한 교사들은 연수를 통해 통합과학 교수 학습 및 평가 계획을 개발하였는데, 교사들이 가장 많이 선택한 성취기준은 [10통과08-03]과 [10통과 09-04]였다. 이들 성취기준에 대해 텍스트마이닝 분석을 통해 성취기준 재해석, 교수학습 방법, 학습소재, 평가방법, 교과역량 등의 구현 실태를 탐색하였다. 또한 2015 통합과학 교육과정의 성취기준 재구성 모델 사례를 통합 우수 사례, 학생 참여형 수업 우수 사례, 교과역량 신장 우수 사례 등으로 구분하여 각각의 특징을 분석하였다. 연구결과를 토대로, 통합과학 교육과정 현장 안착을 위한 연수 지원방안과 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

  • 본 연구는 AI교육 선도학교 착수워크숍 컨설팅 연수와 창의융합형 정보교육실 컨설팅 연수의 운영 후, 온라인 설문 조사 실시 및 설문 결과를 분석하여 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 AI교육 선도학교 컨설팅 연수와 같은 지원이 필요하다는 인식을 가지고 있음을 확인하였고 전국단위의 선도학교 운영 측면에서 우수사례 공유 및 효율적이고 유연한 운영체계를 공유할 수 있도록 네트워크가 활성화되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 설문 대상자들은 AI교육 관련 역량의 중요성을 인식하고 있는 반면에 본인의 AI교육 관련 역량에 대해 낮게 인식하고 있음을 파악하였고 이에 대해 체계적이고 맞춤형 AI교육 관련 역량 강화를 위한 다양한 지원이 필요함을 인식하였다.

의료관광교육 서비스품질이 교육만족도 및 교육훈련전이에 미치는 영향: 조직특성 및 국가관계의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Medical Tourism Education Service Quality on Education Satisfaction and Transfer of Education Training: Focusing on the Moderating Roles of Organizational Characteristics and National Relations)

  • The medical tourism industry, a convergence of medical services and tourism, has been getting more and more popularity as a new value-added industry in the 21st century. Accordingly, the number of professional workers within this industry has been increasing, and the role of educational institutions to cultivate well-equipped human resources has also become critical. However, compared to practically activated medical tourism-related education programs, studies investigating the effectiveness of these education programs are relatively rare. Therefore, this study attempts to examine the effect of five dimensions of medical tourism education service quality (i.e., tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) on learners' education satisfaction and transfer of education training. In addition, the moderating roles of national relations as well as organizational characteristics (i.e., transfer climate and support of supervisors and colleagues) in the relationship between education satisfaction and transfer of education training are further verified. The results of the structural equation model (SEM) using 151 samples from respondents with experience in completing medical tourism education programs reveal that tangibles, reliability, and assurance are found to have a significant impact on education satisfaction, which in turn leads to a high level of transfer of education training. Moreover, it is found that national relations and support of supervisors and colleagues play a moderating role. This study would provide guidelines for improving the efficiency of educational institutions, creating outcomes for learners' affiliated firms (e.g., hospitals), and promoting medical tourism at the national level from the perspective of medical tourism education.

치위생학 임상실습교육 현황 분석 (Analysis on the current status of clinical practice and training in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to review the current status of clinical practice and training in dental hygiene in hospitals and clinics for the students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 80 dental hospitals and clinics from August 8 to September 12, 2016. Except incomplete answers, 211 copies were retrieved and analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects (6 items), present condition of clinical education (7 items), support policy and facilities (8 items), teaching personnel (6 items), improvement direction (3 items), and general considerations (3 items). Results: The annual practice time for students was 8.4 weeks. The average number of students per each practice institution was 5.95. The evaluation of the clinical practice period was rated as 'average' by 55.3% of the respondents, while 65.4% preferred the current duration of the practice. Meanwhile, 33.0% of the respondents wanted to increase the practice period. In clinical training education support, 62.3% of the hospitals had a person in charge, 79.2% of the hospitals and clinics had a operative procedure, appointed staff and a department for student practice. But 86.5% of the hospitals did not have standards for the budget for practice and instruction fee. In the personnel for clinical training, 52.6% said they were dental hygienists. In 87.1%, the practice instruction conducted by professors was done through communication with the hospital or clinic, while the man-to-man practice instruction was 8.6%. Conclusions: It is necessary to improve the process and operation method of dental hygiene clinical training. In order to make clinical training meet education goals, a standardized set of criteria is needed to support training education and guidelines for instructors and students.

시뮬레이션기반 교육이 간호대학생의 전문심폐소생술 지식과 수행능력에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Simulation-Based Training on Nursing Students' Knowledge and Ability to Perform Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of simulation-based training on nursing students' knowledge and ability to perform advanced cardiovascular life support. Methods: A nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design was used. The participants were, in total, 59 junior college nursing students (experimental group: 30, control group: 29). The data were analyzed with a ${\chi}^2$-test, independent t-tests, and analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) using IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program. Results: The experimental group ($80.8{\pm}8.4$), who received simulation-based advanced cardiovascular life support education, showed a higher level of knowledge of advanced cardiovascular life support than the control group ($75.0{\pm}9.9$), who received lecture-based education. In addition, the experimental group ($106.4{\pm}11.9$) showed a higher level of ability to perform advanced cardiovascular life support than the control group ($86.5{\pm}9.9$). Conclusion: Simulation-based advanced cardiovascular life support education was more effective for increasing the knowledge and performance ability of college students than lecture-based education. Therefore, simulation-based training should be used to improve the knowledge and ability of nursing students and should be applied with reinforced systematic education programs.

An Exploratory Study of Research Ethics Training and Ethical Validity

  • Purpose: The effectiveness of research ethics education in enabling researchers to think and judge ethically in conducting research. It is a fundamental solution for the establishment of research ethics in the research field, not only for current researchers but also for the next generation. It measured various variables related to ethics that can lead to ethical behavior through a quasi-experimental design to support the reliability of the study. Research Design, data and methodology: Examine prior research on research ethics and explore current research ethics education and practice. It aims to study how to effectively implement and validate specific aspects of research ethics. To investigate, study, and validate research ethics education and research ethics systems. Results: It is defined as the effectiveness or value of training as measured by changes in knowledge and behavior in reaction, learning, behavior, and outcome evaluations measured after learning. Conclusions: For the effectiveness of research ethics education, various support measures need to be mobilized for the spread and establishment of research ethics education. Formalized and continuous research ethics education is needed. It is important that the knowledge acquired through long-term and consistent research ethics training is transferred to ethical behavior in the research field.
