The Life Cycle Model Considering Legal and Technical Characteristics of Personal Data (개인정보의 법적·기술적 특성을 고려한 라이프 사이클(Life Cycle) 모델)

  • This study reviews the life cycle models considering legal and technical characteristics of personal data respectively. Based on the reviews, this research proposes 'consent and management based model of personal data' which is applicable to the domestic IT companies. The model suggested in this paper has characteristics that 'Consent' and 'Management' factors are ㅁpositively considered, which is overlooked in the other models. The validity of the model is examined by two methods, validation of the model of excellence by contrast of the other models, and 'consent' and 'management' factors cover all the life cycle processes. Using this model, IT companies will be contributed to the analysis of the personal data utilization and the development of IT system protection.

  • This study aims to analyze the relationship of e-HRM implementation to employee performance both directly and indirectly through the intervening of the Human Resource service Quality variable, both practically and theoretically. This study uses variance-based structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques with partial least square (PLS) statistical testing tools to test the direct relationship of e-HRM and the performance and relationship moderated by Human Resources service quality tested on 200 civil servants in five offices under the coordination of the Government of the South Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. The data collection model in this study uses an online survey. The data analysis stages through the explanatory concept consist of, first, the interpretation of the distribution of the average frequency of respondents' answers; second, outer-loading; third, determination of the validity and reliability; fourth, the coefficient of determination test and partial test; fifth, the GoF model; sixth, validity test; and seventh, hypothesis testing. This study explores four hypotheses in a comprehensive fashion; the results of this study show that all hypotheses have positive and significant effects both through direct and intervening relationships. Among the three direct relationships, the relationship of e-HRM variables on HR Service Quality is greatest and most dominant.

  • To a developing country, the advancement of economic status through informatization is an important element contributing to the local society, nation, and to the global world. This research paper is a study on application of Korea's local informatization successful model to Indonesia. Through activated interaction between enterprises and policy makers from Korea and Indonesia, the research paper seeks to create research based network and provide opportunities of information access and business matching to local informatized and e-business enterprises. In research adopted regions, Indonesia's pekalongan region where infra is settled to certain extent by city development project is selected. Therefore, investigating on pekalongan's current geographical, humanistic status quo, and infra, the paper suggest a road map to customized pekalongan's local informatization based on Korean local informatizing successful model.

Consumer Acceptance of E-Commerce in Korea and China;The Effects of National Culture

  • With e-commerce becoming international, understanding the effects of national culture in consumer acceptance of e-commerce is required. This study examines consumer e-commerce acceptance in Korea and China. The research model consisting of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust and perceived risk was proposed, and the hypotheses based on Hofstede's cultural dimensions of power distance, individualism/collectivism, masculinity/femininity, uncertainty avoidance and long-term orientation, were established. The results show that perceived usefulness contributes less to consumer acceptance of e-commerce in China than it does in Korea. In addition, perceived ease of use contributes more to consumer acceptance of e-commerce in China. Trust contributes significantly to consumer acceptance of e-commerce in both countries, but perceived risk didn't influence consumer acceptance of e-commerce in either country. The contribution of this study is to provide strategic insights for successfully managing cross-cultural e-commerce.

  • Recently, digital broadcasting service is growing as a TV-based commerce market spread. However, in previous studies, many researchers studied TV home shopping and T-Commerce separately each other, and there is little research on the attribute to increase the satisfaction of consumers. In this study, we analyzed the attribute to increase satisfaction of consumer using TV-based commerce, and we propose to the direction to move forward. We selected characteristics of TV home shopping and T-Commerce through previous studies, and analyzed satisfaction of customers with quality attributes of TV-based commerce using KANO model and ASC(Average Satisfaction Coefficient).

Perceived Risk Factors Affecting Consumers' Online Shopping Behaviour

  • The study examines the impact of financial risk, convenience risk, non-delivery risk; return policy risk and product risk on online consumer behavior of Malaysian consumers. The research employed a self-administered survey to collect empirical data from 245 Malaysian online shoppers by using convenience sampling. Cronbach alpha was calculated to confirm the reliability of the data and then normality was assessed. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was then conducted to test the model using the goodness-of-fit tests. And finally, structural equation modeling is used to test the hypotheses and draw conclusions. IBM SPSS AMOS version 22.0 was utilized for data analysis. The research indicates that product risk, convenience risk, and return policy risk have a significant and positive impact on online shopping behavior. Financial risk is found to have insignificant and negative effects on consumer behavior. In addition, the non-delivery risk is found to have a significant and negative impact on online shopping behavior. The findings provide a useful model for measuring and managing perceived risk in online shopping which may result in an increase in participation of Malaysian consumers and reduce their cognitive deficiencies in the e-commerce environment. Several managerial implications are discussed along with the scope for future research.

  • The next generation of web applications will need to be larger, more complex, and flexible Agent-oriented systems have great potential for these e-commerce applications. Agents can dynamically discover and compose e-services and mediate interactions. Development of software agents with CBD (Component Based Development) has proved to be successful in increasing speed to market of development Projects, lowering the development cost and providing better qualify. In this thesis, we propose a systemic development process for software agents using component and UML (Unified Modeling Language). We suggest a etA (e-business Agent) CBD reference architecture for layer the related components through identification and classification of general agent and e-business agent. We also propose the ebA-CBD process that is a guideline to consider the best features of existing agent oriented software engineering methodologies, while grounding agent-oriented concepts in the same underlying semantic framework used by UML. We first developed the agent components specification and modeled it with Goal, Role, Interaction, and Architecture Model. Based on this, we developed e-CPIMAS (e-Commerce Product Information Mailing Agent System) as a case study that provides the product information's mailing service according to proposed process formality. We finally describe how these concepts may assist in increasing the efficiency reusability, productivity and quality to develop the business application and e-business agent.

  • As the roles and interests or audit are growing with ITA law in operation from 2006, the interests about the way which makes project qualifies to improve is increasing through it. In this point of view, this study is trying to find the issue that can promote the efficiency and effectiveness of IT projects decreasing some trials and errors relevant to IT, when government or some public agency field promote e-Business. For this purpose, this study analyze IT application result about e-business project in some public agency field. And the case study will be checked out and evaluated by the quality-contents analysis study method on the point of view of the IT audit. The study result is expected to provide a more practical policy implications than traditional researches based on specific-element technology or business process model by making use of major review areas and improvement methods. In thus, it is expected that it will be helpful not only references of IT quality improvement but also policy promotions when the public promotes IT projects related with e-Business.

  • Rapid business and technology changes drive many organizations to seek better solutions and many of them believe that Information Technology is an essential tool to cope with turbulent environment. Companies began to think ERP system as an effective alternative for IT-based process innovation and integrated information system. But each ERP system has a specific business model and technical structure, unlike in-house developed systems. Moreover implementation of ERP system accompanies transformation of business processes at company level including radical changes in information technology. Therefore, to implement ERP system successfully appropriate and careful selection of ERP system which is adequate for company's objectives and environment must be considered. In this research, four types of changes expected by ERP implementation were suggested. Each type of changes was determined by desired level of changes in business process and information technology.
