  • Increasing presence of wild boar around cities and suburban areas is a growing concern with respect to agronomy, environmental ecology, and public safety. In this study, antibiotic resistance profiles of Escherichia (E.) coli isolated from wild boar and domestic pig fecal samples were compared. Eighty E. coli samples were isolated from wild boars. Resistance of the bacteria to 14 common antimicrobial agents used in human and veterinary medicine was evaluated. Ninety-five E. coli isolates from domestic pig farms were used for comparison. Common and distinct antibiotic resistance patterns were observed when comparing wild boar and domestic pig isolates, indicating that wild boars may significantly influence environmental microbiology.

  • The paper examines the dynamic relationship of domestic credit and stock market liquidity on the economic growth of the Philippines from 1995 to 2018 applying the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds testing approach to cointegration, together with Granger causality test based on vector error correction model (VECM). The ARDL model indicated a long-run relationship of domestic credit and stock market liquidity on GDP growth. When the GDP per capita is the dependent variable there is weak cointegration. Also, the Johansen cointegration test confirmed the existence of long-run relationship of domestic credit and stock market liquidity both on GDP growth and GDP per capita. The VECM concludes a long-run causality running from domestic credit and stock market liquidity to GDP growth. At levels, domestic credit has significant short-run causal relationship with GDP growth. As for stock market liquidity at first lag, has significant short-run causal relationship with GDP growth. With regards to VECM for GDP per capita, domestic credit and stock market liquidity indicates no significant dynamic adjustment to a new equilibrium if a disturbance occurs in the whole system. At levels, the results indicated the presence of short-run causality from stock market liquidity and GDP per capita. The CUSUMSQ plot complements the findings of the CUSUM plot that the estimated models for GDP growth and GDP per capita were stable.

  • A survey was carried out from August to December 2004 in Pusan, Korea to document the presence of free-living amoeba (FLA), including the genus Acanthamoeba, in both contact lens storage cases and domestic tap water. Acanthamoeba was isolated from $5(4.2\%)$ in 120 contact lens storage cases. Four house tap water samples from residents, whose contact lens storage cases had been contaminated by Acanthamoeba, were also found to be contaminated with Acanthamoeba. Therefore, the contamination rate of FLA and Acanthamoeba in domestic tap water was investigated in order to examine the role of domestic tap water in Acanthamoeba contamination of contact lens storage cases. FLA and Acanthamoeba were identified in $97(46.8\%)\;and\;16(7.7\%)$ of the 207 domestic tap water samples, respectively. There were no significant differences between the contamination rates of FLA in tap water according to the filtration plant of origin. No FLA was detected in the tap water directly supplied by the water purification plants. Water storage tanks appear to promote FLA colonization, including Acanthamoeba, in domestic tap water. This increases the risk of Acanthamoeba contamination in contact lens storage cases as well as increasing the risk of Acanthamoeba keratitis.

  • Domestic industry has a long history, but it has been suffering for a long time due to its poor competitiveness in management ability, supply of materials, technological development, sales marketing, and distribution networks. Moreover, the industry has not established its strong presence in the world market but is exposed to increasingly greater agonies because of inactive domestic demands, increase rate of import versus export, diversified government policies, and non-selective introduction of high-quality and low-priced foreign named brands of ceramics into the country. Theses factors have partly contributed to consumers' low or negative recognition.

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the phenomenon of the library anxiety among domestic undergraduate students and suggest the main factors of it. For this purpose, the study compared and analysed the library anxiety scales suggested through the previous studies. And the study also analysed the postscripts on the library use which were submitted by the students. As a result, the study confirmed the presence of the library anxiety among domestic undergraduate students, and suggested total 47 factors of the library anxiety.

  • A halophilic bacterium was isolated from domestic marine. The bacterium was gram negative and motile. Transmission electron micrograph after cultivating for 6-, 20-, 72-, and 144 hrs showed that it was bacilli and contained intracellular granules, which were pleomorphic, larger in density by the time and considered to be PHB since they were positive on the sudan black B staining. The presence of sodium chloride was critical, because the isolated marine bacterium could not multiply and even produce any immunostimulant in the deficiency of sodium chloride. The strain produced an immunostimulant, which was investigated for the biological characteristics. The optimal conditions for the production of the immunostimulant were 1 % dextrose and 1 % yeast extract in artificial sea water for carbon and nitrogen sources, respectively. The initial pH and growth temperature for the production were 8.0 and $30^{\circ}C$ under the presence of oxigen, respectively.

  • E-commerce is now a familiar form of commercial transaction, especially in the transactions between businesses. This online transaction poses a good deal of problems to the traditional tax system and administration. Realignment of tax system and tax administration in the e-commerce is one of the major topics on the International problem. In the area of consumption tax, they reaffirmed the destination principle. They agreed to decide the recipient's business presence and usual residence as the place of consumption. In the area of consumption tax, they reaffirmed the destination principle. They agreed to decide the recipient's business presence and usual residence as the place of consumption. Currently, the Korean VAT law does not have a basis for taxation on international transactions that are considered to be services. Considering the tax revenue loss and the inequality between domestic suppliers and foreign suppliers when international transactions are not taxed, the Korean Tax Authority needs to amend the current law.

  • Effects of pH, bentonite and Portland cement on the leaching of the simulated waste glass were investigated. The simulated waste glass showed the low leach rate in the neutral pH region, while the leach rate in both acidic and alkaline regions increased. Addition of bentonite to the leachant enhanced the leaching of the waste glass. When the waste glass was leached at 72$^{\circ}C$ for 36 days in the ground water with gel state Na-bentonite, approximately 2.2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ of the surface was corroded out and the large amount of Ti, Nd, and Zr was observed on the surface. The amount of B leached from the simulated waste glass in the presence of domestic bentonite was about three times higher than that in the presence of Aldrich bentonite as well as Portland cement.
