In this paper, we proposed a new scalar multiplier structure needed for an elliptic curve cryptosystem(ECC) over the standard basis in GF(2$^{163}$ ). It consists of a bit-serial multiplier and a divider with control logics, and the divider consumes most of the processing time. To speed up the division processing, we developed a new division algorithm based on the extended Euclid algorithm. Dynamic data dependency of the Euclid algorithm has been transformed to static and fixed data flow by a localization technique, to make it independent of the input and field polynomial. Compared to other existing scalar multipliers, the new scalar multiplier requires smaller gate counts with improved processor performance. It has been synthesized using Samsung 0.18 um CMOS technology, and the maximum operating frequency is estimated 250 MHz. The resulting performance is 148 kbps, that is, it takes 1.1 msec to process a 163-bit data frame. We assure that this performance is enough to be used for digital signature, encryption/decryption, and key exchanges in real time environments.

It is activated a virtual university(digital university) without limitation time and space that the diffusion of internet, the rapid development of information and communicative technologies, web-technology. It is great importance of school-site to support various and qualitative education services, to cut social education spending, to strengthen national competitiveness with breed expert. Many people who are in universities are putting a school-site to the test. So we need study and analysis it to build up a virtual-study-space efficiently on web. This thesis is supposed to help in school-site design to make it reduce errors and save time and efforts. First, it suggests most general design pattern by analysis visual elements using HTML Tag. Second, it suggests a guide-line and a specific of design to use convenience through research on web-design problem and finding out user's favor.

Farmland spatial data are needed as a basic information in conducting rational use of farmlands in regional scale. This study develops a method that can be used to make up such farmland spatial data in a simple way and to develop a technique to manage them in a unitary way, and examines the effectiveness of the technique by applying it to the case area. A method that Web-Service Raster Image and Digital Cadastal Map can be utilized as a base map was devised. It was designed applying the vector system, in which one lot of farmland is area unit. Raster image and field survey data were combined to increase the accuracy of data. The lot boundaries of the existing boundary map were adjusted to the shapes of actual farmlands using GIS edition function. A proper farmland use classification system to the area characteristics was established and data obtained from the field survey were coded. Usually it is very difficult to identify the size of one lot of actual farmland in the existing space data, based on the results of the case study, the result map showed actual topography very realistically. Also the frequently occurring lot divisions and the serious topographical modifications by natural disasters frequently have made it impossible to survey farmlands on the catastral map in the field. But the final map had a great usefulness in that it may solve such problems by expressing the filed survey results graphically.

Ecological and ecosystem database is becoming very necessary to understand origins and relationship between human and nature and also to minimize disturbance caused by human activities. An ecological information portal can play important roles as a computing system to collect knowledge, distributed research findings and separated data from researchers. In this study, we designed and developed ecological information portal service (EcoBank 1.0) for collecting and providing ecological information for diverse classes of stakeholders. To reach the goal, we had reviewed related and comparable ecological database portals to design conceptual structure of EcoBank system including database management framework. Then, we developed some functions of ecosystem analysis for each stake-holders (researchers, general public and policy makers). As a result of this study, we successfully designed of EcoBank system covering the functions of Digital Object Identifier(DOI) publishing and data quality management process. Also, we (1) applied ecological indices for calculating biodiversity by administrative boundary for policy makers, (2) provided statistical information of econature map for general public and distribution characteristics of species for researchers. To make a successful establishment of EcoBank, we have to collect and build up related database and offer various and reliable ecological data consistently. We expect that the successful construction of EcoBank will help not only to accomplish sustainable development goals but also to raise the welfare of ecosystem in Korea.

The object of this study is to find ways of a creation and an usage of cultural contents, based on the survey of the culture archetype facts, the culture elements and the narrative structure of 'Geotagi folk tale'. This story takes its place as our cultural archetype, because of its perfect narrative structure and the myth-like features in the story line. Additionally, various cultural elements implied in the text have the world wide universality as well as the unique traditional characters of Korea. Thus, for above reason, 'Geotagi folk tale' can be helpful in creating the new cultural contents. In creating and using the cultural contents of 'Geotagi folk tale', the first way is to build up the Digital contents including the data base of the original text and others, and the creation of graphics. The second way is to create the story bank utilizing hypertext. The third way is to make flash animations or games concerning the folk tale. and the fourth way is to to develop the symbols of the folk tale as animation characters.

This research reviews literature regarding information use behavior published during the period of 1970 to 2014 in Korea. It aims to identify the researchers' information use behavior in specialized fields and contributes to provide the effective information services based on users' needs. In order to do that, it reviews research papers that are associated with information use behavior by primarily examining the subjects, methods, variables, results, and suggestions of collected literature. It reveals some differences among researchers according to their fields, career, and status while researchers in various fields make appearance the change of information use up to digital environments. It is suggested that information services based on the users' characteristics should be provided.

VoIP is a service that changes the analogue audio signal into a digital signal and then transfers the audio information to the users after configuring it as a packet; and it has an advantage of lower price than the existing voice call service and better extensibility. However, VoIP service has a system structure that, compared to the existing PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), has poor call quality and is vulnerable in the security aspect. To make up these problems, TLS service was introduced to enhance the security. In practical system, however, since QoS problem occurs, it is necessary to develop the VoIP security system that can satisfy QoS at the same time in the security aspect. In this paper, a user authentication VoIP system that can provide a service according to the security and the user through providing a differential service according to the approach of the users by adding AA server at the step of configuring the existing VoIP session is suggested. It was found that the proposed system of this study provides a quicker QoS than the TLS-added system at a similar level of security. Also, it is able to provide a variety of additional services by the different users.

Feature functions were used for the classification of music. The spectral roll-off, variance, average peak level, and class were chosen to make up a feature function vector. Among these, it is the spectral roll-off function that has a low-frequency to high-frequency ratio. To find the optimal roll-off point, the roll-off points from 0.05 to 0.95 were swept. The classification success rate was monitored as the roll-off point was being changed. The data that were used for the experiments were taken from the sounds made by a modern violin and a baroque one. Their shapes and sounds are similar, but they differ slightly in sound texture. As such, the data obtained from the sounds of these two kinds of violin can be useful in finding an adequate roll-off point. The optimal roll-off point, as determined through the experiment, was 0.85. At this point, the classification success rate was 85%, which was the highest.

In this paper, we propose a watermarking technology for a mixed music. The mixed music means recreated music that contained a number of musics in one audio clip. Royalty associated with the audio content is typically imposed by the full audio content. However, the calculation of royalties gives rise to conflict between copyright holders and users in the mixed music because it uses not full audio content but a fraction of that. To solve the conflict related with the mixed music, we propose a audio watermarking technique that inserts different watermarks for each audio in the audio that make up the mixed music. The proposed watermarking scheme might have poor SNR (signal to noise ratio) to embed to each audio clip. To overcome poor SNR problem, we used inaudible pseudo random sequence which modifies typical pseudo random sequence to canonical signed digit (CSD) form. The proposed method verifies the performance by each watermark extraction and the time internal estimation valies from the mixed music.

As security and surveillance have become the center of interest, remote controlled CCTV(Closed-Circuit Television) market has been formed while rapid development of digital image compression technology and Internet triggered the advent of web cameras. The characteristic of web camera is that it can provide users with higher quality image than CCTV at any place where Internet access is available. However, As for the system administrator, the existing web camera have disadvantage in that they allows users only. who are connected to the server of the web camera, to see the image from it. In this paper, in order to make up for this defect, designed multi-vision interface showing multi images on single screen and, for the purpose of the improvement in efficiency, the functions of saving images and of scheduling the time to save the images.
