  • 6th Industry reduced agricultural income and rural areas, the economic downturn is going to be activated is attracting attention as an alternative. 6th industry means that the integrated or linked, the manufacture and processing of secondary industry based on primary industry, the distribution and service of tertiary industry. Park Geun-hye government to realize the creative economy in agriculture as an alternative to specifically evaluate the 6th industries and suggests various policy alternatives. In addition, to support the development of models and analysis of best practices, including sleep studies are in progress. However, the 6th Industry management body for performing management level, technical level, the leader in comprehensive evaluation of competencies and indicators on the development of an evaluation study is insufficient. In this regard, the present study performed 6th industry management body for the management level, technical level, the leader competency evaluation indicators to develop a comprehensive evaluation by utilizing AHP method was developed indicators. The results achieved in Korea As different countries and the FTA as cheap agricultural imports increased 6th industry revenues associated with the management body is very likely to be worse. Thus, all 6th industry management body at the location of their efforts to gain the trust of consumers will require, moreover, for each management body to build cooperation between the various measures will be sought. In addition to the smart era rapidly changing needs of customers, depending on the life cycle of products and services are getting faster and the new consumer is getting more and more tend to find new products. Thus, customers and management body 6th industry changes quickly and accurately predict market trends, and also to market new products and services that further efforts would be needed.

  • In the 21st century, The service industry is becoming a new core business. In the modern industrial society, it escapes from supporting the manufacturing industry and finally leads to the growth of the manufacturing industry. Although many companies have met a variety of customer requirements through the existing service process, an organization or service developer has been failed because they had depended on intuitive judgment. Therefore, in this paper, we suggests CSIM(Case-based Service Improvement Methodology) to support improvement direction. This methodology is based on 120 cases and developed by utilizing the TRIZ concepts. As a result, CSIM will be a creative tool to support a developer to solve the problems.

  • Firms should seek greater profits and corporate growth through new businesses. New businesses contribute realizing creative economy that creates good jobs, and expanding the company by securing new markets and creating new profits and growth. However, new business is risky management decision-making to have a high failure rate because it involves the adaptation of new business environment and the burden of new investments, including the uncertainty of success in business. Therefore, innovation strategies play important roles for the new business entry, using product innovation, process innovation, business model innovation, disruptive innovation, and strategic innovation, etc. and company will get huge economic results by pushing them into successful business. It is essential that innovation strategy and IT development strategy along with business strategy of a firm are linked, and their strategic alignment is considered to be a critical success factor for new business success. Hyundai Heavy Industries(HHI) pursued marine engine business for the development of precision machinery industry and shipbuilding industry of Korea, and the company recognized the importance of new business strategy, innovation strategy, and IT strategy inter-linked, and pushed strategic alignment boldly. As a result, HHI won the competition in European and Japanese engine manufacturers and climbed into the world's largest engine manufacturer. This study suggests investigating and analyzing a case that HHI succeeded in marine engine business expansion using strategic innovation strategy as a way of the introduction of CNC machine tools and the development of HEMAPT system.

  • *IT technology has been rapidly introduced to the clothing and fashion industry, and especially fashion shows have been changed very fast to keep up with the current digital era. In this research, the author designed virtual clothes, and investigated whether it is possible to make them similar to actual clothes and then performed a digital fashion show with these virtual clothes. This research discussed, based on case development and studies, whether a digital fashion show can express the designer's idea more creatively than the existing fashion shows and what needs to be improved for the effectiveness of digital fashion shows. As a result, the virtual clothes have been recognized to be very similar to actual clothes and facilitate creative expressions that are hard to be presented in actual fashion shows. The adaptation of 3D virtual clothes to real fashion industry in the future can make new contents through the innovation of distribution and industry.

  • Those of the growth of e-business, the development of the cultural creative industry, the contents and knowledge industry have expanded and diversified the existing business models and created new ones. They are triggering new interpretations and discussions on business models. Such of changing business environment has paved the way for the expansion of design management within the design industry and opened new windows of opportunity for the traditionally small and non-specialized design business. Until now, the design business has not been distinguished from design industry or design service, and has not been viewed as an independent field. Rather, the design business has merely been part of a process. As such, the lack of dear definition and structured system had been a bottleneck for many design companies trying to achieve capital and social success and establish the foundation for growth and for companies striving to advance the design management in developing design business models or growth strategy in line with the changing environment. Against these sort of backdrops, this paper attempts to dearly define the design business. To this end, the paper tries to developed a design business model framework which classifies design business model into four types - customized, ready-made, provider and contract - according to the business activities between the producer and the end user, and business items into product, additional sonics, knowledge and promotion. The framework will expand the definition of design business and contribute to the expansion of design business activities and the development of diverse business models.

  • With the recent rapid growth in the number of people who enjoy marine and leisure activities in Korea, the marine leisure industry faces good opportunities for development. Korean brands are in between them. In this situation, new and innovative products related to an inflatable tube, which is one of the most popular marine leisure items, will help to increase sales of domestic companies and to pioneer a new market. Research methods are largely divided into 4: investigation, analysis & synthesis, development and evaluation. This paper introduces a "tube cushion" which is an inflatable tube covered by fabrics. It can be functioned at home 365 days a year as a cushion or a children's plaything. Tactile fabrics, neoprene and air-mesh, are used as the cover with a zipper, making it easy to open and close. Moreover, by putting together tubes and connecting them with snap fastener attached straps, the cushion can be transformed into a chair, a table, a tunnel, a train, and so on, serving as a creative plaything for children. With this paper, it is expected that new and innovative items differentiated from others, like this crossover tube cushion, will help to create a 'Blue Ocean' market for the marine leisure industry from the long-term perspective.

  • This paper has the purpose of suggesting a development-method on the fashion products that would secure the competitiveness in the global markets through creating supersensitive practical products on the basis of developing originative fashion-goods being made of jacquard that is fine quality of couture. This paper has collected data through the cases of the developed nations in fashion, precedent studies and all the related literature on the subject. The results of this researching are as following: The first, it is expected that the necessity of developing new fashion products would be appealed toward the prestige group of consumers who are seeking for the fine quality and super-sensitivity in female fashion in Korea, and it is the current situation that the products made of jacquard are gradually expanding not only in the area of apparel, fashion goods and interior but also another areas. The current situation of the global market suggests the necessary strategy of survival, that is, the development of supersensitive materials and creative products which would be able to keep the high quality and lower the selling price through cost reduction. The second, the suggestion of the direction in developing the products of the female fashion made of jacquard has two points - the development of the texture that would realize a unique form and the development of the material that would be able to realize planar pattern and three dimensional pattern which are woven with thin and light materials with various solidity and delicacy through various techniques of mixing and three dimensional expression. The third, the expected ripple effect and utilization generated from the development of fashion products are as followings: As material characteristics of jacquard, It needs the specialization of various techniques and specialized production system in using jacquard, and the specialized technique and system would make it possible to produce not only the higher value-added products through expressing affluent colors and delicate design but also competitive products through cutting the process and cost, eventually, it would lead to the expansion of the jacquard market of super-sensitive prestige. Therefore, it is remarkable that various development of products toward the global market and the prestige female fashion market can suggest the vision that make the national fashion industry develop into the higher value-added knowledge industry integrating technology and culture.

Development of the Workplace Etiquette Education Program for Strengthen of Employment Capability of Specialized High School Students (특성화 고등학교 학생의 취업역량강화를 위한 직장예절 교육프로그램 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the workplace etiquette education program for strengthen of employment capability of specialized high school students. Basically the program was developed through three steps of preparation, development and improvement. In the preparation stage, needs of student, teacher, industry was surveyed and the topic of the workplace etiquette education program was selected. In the development stage, set up educational goals of the program and form the program classified into 4 parts: (1) work and etiquette, (2) understanding of organization in the workplace, (3) proper the workplace etiquette, (4) managing oneself. In the improvement stage, verified validity by experts, executed pilot test and field test by students, and corrected the program. The result of the study, the workplace etiquette education program for strengthen of employment capability of specialized high school students has features as fellows: First, the program was designed as a 8 hour, and can be applied flexibly according to situation. Second, the program consist of various cases that occur in the workplace. Third, the program consist of four contents of (1) work and etiquette, (2) understanding of organization in the workplace, (3) proper the workplace etiquette, (4) managing oneself. Fourth, the program basically consist of two parts for students and teacher. Fifth, the program would be used in the subject of 'Career and work' in high school and also applied to the career education such as creative hands-on activities, creative discretion activities, and extracurricular activities.

  • This paper deals with demand surveys for big science and technology research facilities and equipments to advance national S'||'&'||'T research infrastructure. We perform surveys thrice based on applied Delphi method on the future demand of big S'||'&'||'T research facilities and equipments among Korean scientists and engineers. We employ the concept of big S'||'&'||'T research facilities and equipments as follows: \circled1 The operating size of it is equivalent to that of an institute or research center, and/or \circled2 The users in various disciplines are many, and/or \circled3 The application areas or spill-over effects are large, and/or \circled4 The scale and scope of research objects is equivalent to that of mega science area such as earth.oceanography.space, and/or \circled5 The expenses for installing and operating it are to be supported by government, and/or \circled5 The facilities are expected as necessary for international joint research, and/or \circled7 It is necessary for promoting creative basic science and developing creative technology. We ask the respondents to answer the following questionnaire: - How to prioritize the equipments according to the degree of importance\ulcorner $\square$ Promotion of basic science and mega science, the development of the technologies to enhance the public welfare, the competitiveness of industrial technologies, the job creation for the S'||'&'||'T personnel, and international cooperation. - Who should be in charge of acquisition and operation of the equipments\ulcorner $\square$ Industry, Government Research Institutes, Academy, ERC and SRC. - When shall we acquire the equipment\ulcorner $\square$ Within 2000, 2002, 2007, 2012, and 2017. - How shall we acquire the equipments\ulcorner $\square$ International Joint Development, Domestic Development, Acquisition from Overseas, - How much will the equipment generate spill-over effects to national competitiveness\ulcorner $\square$ Promotion of basic science, contribution to the economy, supply of S'||'&'||'T personnel, and international cooperation. A Screen for Dual-protection Molecules from a Natural Product Library against Neuronal Cell Death and Microglial Cell Activation (신경세포 사멸과 미세아교세포활성화 억제 동시 가능 천연물질 탐색 연구)

  • Natural products and natural product structures play a general and highly significant role in drug discovery and development process because it has various merits and potentials for new drug source that have extensive clinical experience, development time contraction, excellent stability and safety. In several neurological disorders, neuronal death and excessive activation of microglia (neuro-inflammation) are observed. A number of drug discovery-related neuronal cell death and neuro-inflammation was studied from natural products, respectively. However, until now, it has not been possible to study dual-protection molecules recorded in the Natural Product library. In the present study, using the natural product-derived library of the Institute for Korea Traditional Medical Industry, we investigated dual-protective molecules against glutamate (a classical excitatory neurotransmitter)-induced oxidative stress mediated neuronal cell death and LPS-induced excessive activated microglial cells (immune cells of the brain). Chrysophanol, extracted from Rheum palmatum, had dual-protective effects against both glutamate-induced neuronal cell death and LPS-induced NO production, triggering proinflammatory cytokines and microglia activation and resulting in neuroinflammation. Flow-cytometry analysis revealed that chrysophanol had a scavenger effect, scavenging glutamate- and LPS-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by neuronal and microglial cells, respectively. Based on the present study, chrysophanol may have an important protective role against neuronal cell death and neuroinflammation in the brain. The results may be helpful for studying drug development candidates for treating central nervous system disorders.
