This study aims to find the optimum method to reuse as townscape resource and to preserve the architectural heritage. And, it wants to contribute the policy of the architectural heritage and townscape. This research is targeted at an old office building of Leaf tobacco Producer' cooperation, designated as a cultural assets in Jecheon. It investigated the design characteristics of an old office building of Leaf tobacco Producer' cooperation and the streetscape of Uibyeong-daero 12-gil. It was conducted using the research methods of the field survey, and it was to analyze and to compare the various existing data and a current status. The result are as followings. Firstly, we should be consider the policy of architectural heritage that a sense of place can be preserved. Secondly, we should be consider the linear method of the conservation and reuse in urban street that the architectural heritage is located at least. Thirdly, if it will be to maintain the facade of the building adjacent to the street using the design characteristics of an old office building of Leaf tobacco Producer' cooperation, Uibyeong-daero 12-gil will be made a unique street that will be represented the history of leaf tobacco produce. Lastly, it has been analyzed that the design characteristics of an old office building of Leaf tobacco Producer' cooperation are the arch of entrance, the arched window, the rectangular window, the entabature, the horizontal joint, the finish of cement mortar, a pitched roof, etc. And, the design guideline and the maintenance plan of Uibyeong-daero 12-gil have made.

Objective: The objective of this research is to develop evaluation checklist for personal office furniture and apparatus to shape comfortable and efficient worksite for workers' welfare improvement, productivity enhancement and labor force preservation, and to identify office work environment by applying the checklist. Background: Because most office workers work using computers in a sitting posture, the ratio of office workers among total musculoskeletal disorders patients is forecast to increase. In this regard, an effort to prevent and manage such musculoskeletal disorders is required. Method: This research developed evaluation checklist for personal office furniture and apparatus by examining 25 domestic and international ergonomic literature and anthropometric data. This research carried out a fact-finding survey targeting the A Office and B Office of one public agency using the checklist. Results: Although, the checklist items on desks, chairs, computers and other goods conformed to the checklist standards, the following items did not conformed: desk height adjustment, seat board depth adjustment, lumbar support depth, foot rest, wrist rest, mouse tray, headset, speaker phone and Bluetooth. Conclusion: The evaluation checklist for personal office furniture and apparatus and fact-finding survey results are considered to be used as basic data for office work environment and workers' welfare improvement. Application: The information drawn from this research can be helpful to manufacturers' design and manufacture of ergonomic furniture and apparatus.

Recently, as the characteristics and production methods of the construction industry are changing, and women are actively entering the society, the view of women in the construction industry is also gradually changing. Although the government is currently improving the system to expand women's participation, nevertheless, women's participation in the construction industry is very low compared to other industries. The scope of this study was limited to presenting the actual working environment and improvement plans for male and female engineers in the design office. As a result of the survey on the insufficient part of the work environment, the item 'rest space such as lounge, bathroom, and conference room was narrow' was highly surveyed for men, and 'there was no rest space that required gender discrimination' was highly surveyed for women. As for the improvement measures, both men and women were surveyed highly in the category of 'My place for personal work'. In this study, the scope of the study has a limitation in that it only presents the actual situation and improvement measures for the working environment for male and female engineers in the design office.

In the construction industry, due to the nature of the job, the need for job training to maximize the performance of the job and to improve the organization's qualifications is needed to acquire professional knowledge that is practiced according to the training needs of the members of the organization. In the form of education, the government or the government or the government provides systematic and planned professional job training that is implemented to improve qualifications and instill pride in the profession by helping the employees of the design office acquire new knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for professional performance. Although it is recommended at the organizational level, as a result of examining the implementation, it was found that most workers did not receive job training activities. Therefore, follow-up studies that can maximize work efficiency at the individual and organizational level of design office workers should be continuously performed.

The purpose of this study is to develop a virtual office design in a 3D digital environment which involves a consideration of what people do and need in a virtual workplace and then translating that into a virtual environment for collaborative design. Areas in a virtual design office are defined according to different uses or activities in a physical office. The workplace includes a hall and information desk, working area, a conference room, a library, an entertainment room and a management room. It is important to define areas considering shared territory and personal territory. Communication and collaboration amonge designers are provided over the World Wide Web.

In this paper, the conceptual design of satellite digital base put which is based upon data interface between satellite on-board computer and remote devices like satellite sub-components is presented. This conceptual design shows the unification of the interface between on-board computer and satellite remote devices and the hierarchical results of the interface level. A comparison of different system and merits and demerits of digital base part coming from this conceptual design is performed.

In accordance with the increasing of human engineering in modern industrial society, we must give thought to Colorergonomics. The reason is that color is a very important factor of the human engineering. And selecting the right colors in human working environment could bring many positive effects. This study tries to present a theoretical base for the color design in the plan of modern office especially through the analysis of the Model of Coloregonomics and the Color Cycleo of Human Engineering developed by the German colorist Axel Venn. As a main result of this study a man must be the focus of attention in the color design for the office.

The purpose of this project is to greatly elevate the image of a high-technology wireless communication company by improving its office space environment through remodeling techniques. In order to accomplish this goal, the design concept was established in the direction of harmonious beauty with maximized functionality and aesthetics. Specifically, an efficient traffic line was planned in consideration of the connectivity between mutual spaces, and smooth yet strong formal aesthetics was given to such things as planes, frontal surfaces, and ceiling design, so as to do away with the existing authoritarian atmosphere and create an image of a futuristic company.

The purpose of this research is providing the fundamental data for the effective workplace design, so that employees are not suffered from physical barrier. This research based on literature review. And then gain actual data by auditing buildings and data have been analyzed by percentage. The results and conclusions of research are the follow: In order to evaluate the law-abiding levels of office buildings, classifying the sources as the three levels. Just 44.2 percentage of building were marked on 'compliance' level. And also the 24% was 'not compliance' 31.8% was 'not accommodation'. The actual office building was out of the allowance of regulations so the regulations should be added both about new building and ready-built buildings.
