Fine-Grained Mobile Application Clustering Model Using Retrofitted Document Embedding

  • In this paper, we propose a fine-grained mobile application clustering model using retrofitted document embedding. To automatically determine the clusters and their numbers with no predefined categories, the proposed model initializes the clusters based on title keywords and then merges similar clusters. For improved clustering performance, the proposed model distinguishes between an accurate clustering step with titles and an expansive clustering step with descriptions. During the accurate clustering step, an automatically tagged set is constructed as a result. This set is utilized to learn a high-performance document vector. During the expansive clustering step, more applications are then classified using this document vector. Experimental results showed that the purity of the proposed model increased by 0.19, and the entropy decreased by 1.18, compared with the K-means algorithm. In addition, the mean average precision improved by more than 0.09 in a comparison with a support vector machine classifier.

Mongolian Traditional Stamp Recognition using Scalable kNN

  • The stamp is one of the crucial information of traditional historical and cultural for nations. In this paper, we purpose to detect official stamps from scanned document and recognize the Mongolian traditional, historical stamps. Therefore we performed following steps: first, we detect official stamps from scanned document based on red-color segmentation and document standard. Then we collected 234 traditional stamp images with 6 classes and 100 official stamp images from scanned document images. Also we implemented the processing algorithms for noise removing, resize and reshape etc. Finally, we proposed a new scale invariant classification algorithm based on KNN (k-nearest neighbor). In the experimental result, our proposed a method had shown proper recognition rate.

  • Mosts of export/import cargo has been moving using maritime transport means. Korea had been driven the system automation project using EDI document since the mid-1990s. However, this automation system comes upon about 40-50% against overall maritime business process, manual or paper document processing work is existing as ever. International e-business environment also has changing into electronic form document transaction from paper document-based transaction. International standardization organization, UN/CEFACT proposed UNeDocs for paperless jtransaction. UNeDocs is a specification to define XML data model as well as electronic form. With UNeDocs, it is not necessary to generate the duplexed data, and it can support user convenient and guarantee the flexibility. This paper defines the UNeDocs data model for EDI and Off-Line processing at the current maritime business. Then, it have to check XML syntax and structure for the defined data model through quality of document check system. Also, it explains the applying plan about the defined UNeDocs data model. It is possible to support paperless transaction as defining UNeDocs-based standard data model and converting into paper document, XML and EDI document using UNeDocs data model.

  • Because of the properties of software such as invisibility, complexity, and changeability, software configuration management (SCM) for software artifacts generated during software life-cycle has been used for guarantee of the quality of the software. However, the existing SCM system has only focused on code artifacts and software development document artifacts such as Software Requirements Specification (SRS), Software Design Description (SDD), and Software Test Description (STD). Moreover, software research-oriented project comes out late the code artifacts and the software development document artifacts. Therefore, there is a need for trace and management of software research document artifacts composed of highly abstracted non-functional requirements like 'the purpose of the project', 'the objectives', and 'the progress' before generation of the code artifacts and the software development document artifacts for a long time. Nevertheless, the existing SCM system cannot trace and manage them. In this paper, we propose content-based configuration management system comprised of the relevance link generation phase and content-based testing phase to trace and manage them. The preliminary application results show applicability and feasibility of the proposed system.

  • In spite of the convenience and cost-effectiveness of an electronic document management system the paper-type documents still should be stored for a comparison against the original documents. In this paper, for the efficient management of paper documents, we designed and implemented a document management system using smart devices equipped with NFC(Near Field Communication) technology. To implement the proposed system we designed a database for document management and developed an Android application for smart device using Eclipse 3.0 and Java programming. Whenever we touch the smart phone on the NFC tags which are attached to the paper-type documents and document boxes, it is possible to registering, searching and carrying in and out services for documents and boxes. This study provides smart phone users with systematic, economical and convenient paper-type documents management functions, and thus enhances the business efficiency.

  • The development of the information retrieval field is evolving to the research field searching accurately for the information from thing finding rapidly a large amount of information. Personalization and the semantic web technology is a key technology. The automatic indexing technology about the web document and throughput go beyond the research stage and show up as the practical service. However, there is a lack of research on the document information retrieval field about the attached document type of except the web document. In this paper, we illustrate about the method in which it analyzed the text content of the unstructured documents prepared in the text, word, hwp form and it how to construction OWL ontology. To build TBox of the document ontology and the resources which can be obtained from the document is selected, and we implement with the system in order to utilize as the instant of the constructed document ontology. It is effectually usable in the information retrieval and document management system using the semantic technology of the correspondence document as the ontology automatic construction of this kind of the unstructured documents.

  • It is difficult to merge text document and to remake use of documents on the most collaborative document authoring system using text document, and also to provide the storage place for saving and keeping documents. It has vulnerable drawbacks about the security though it provides the accessible abilities due to basing it on Web. In this paper, we design and implementation the collaborative document authoring system for XML document to improve a couple of problems on these systems. For these, we based on the DOM to manipulate the modeling object documents and utilized RMI on this system without considering socket communication when it transmits and receives Java objects. We improved the security through processes of authentication. By providing templates and editing functions such as annotation, visualization of document structures, we made easier making collaborative document authoring more than ever.

Integration of Gear Design Data using XML in the Web-based Environment (웹 기반 환경에서 XML을 이용한 기어 설계 데이터의 통합)

  • XML is suitable to integrate various forms of engineering design data since it possesses the characteristics of both documents and data. In this research a web-based design system has been developed, which integrates various gear design data in the form of XML. The system generates XML document containing gear design data and transforms gear design data in the relational database into XML document form automatically. The XML documents are transmitted to gear modeler agent through SOAP, and then the agent is automatically executed and generates CAD model files and VRML files. The designer can check the generated VRML model of gear immediately in the web service.

  • Recently, it is more important to do part of software designers for developing user-centered software. They produce visual document for helping communication between developers and visual diagram for analyzing user need factors based on user scenario. Case study of architecture real dispatch service can show developing samples. It is important to produce visual document for one combined opinion between developers in process of defining of development boundary, main concept development, selecting of development system. And visual document process with visual language by software designer is step for recognizing of user need factors before developing interface design in process of collecting design factors of user and environment and analyzing design factor by user scenario. Also, in process of interface and prototype development, it need visual document for peaceful and concord process between developers. Those visual documents with visual language could help to define developers role and duty, user-centered concept development and various interface development proposal during software developing.
