Due to the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) modernization, the recently launched GNSS satellites transmit signals at various frequency bands of L1, L2 and L5. Considering the Korea Positioning System (KPS) signal and other GNSS augmentation signals in the future, there is a high probability of applying more complex communication techniques to the new GNSS signals. For the reason, GNSS receivers based on flexible Software Defined Radio (SDR) concept needs to be developed to evaluate various experimental communication techniques by accessing each signal processing module in detail. In this paper, we introduce a multi-constellation (GPS/Galileo/BeiDou) multi-band (L1/L2/L5) SDR by utilizing Ettus USRP N210. The signal reception module of the developed SDR includes down-conversion, analog-to-digital conversion, signal acquisition, and tracking. The down-conversion module is designed based on the super-heterodyne method fitted for MHz sampling. The signal acquisition module performs PRN code generation and FFT operation and the signal tracking module implements delay/phase/frequency locked loops only by software. In general, it is difficult to sample entire main lobe components of L5 band signals due to their higher chipping rate compared with L1 and L2 band signals. Experiment result shows that it is possible to acquire and track the under-sampled signals by the developed SDR.
Shop drawing tasks conducted after finishing coordinated or engineering design have great influences on the quality and cost of a project. However, despite the development of commercial BIM applications, shop drawings have mainly produced manually in certain engineering fields. Incorrect shop drawings with human errors have occurred various problems such as cost overrun, time delay and reworks. An automated shop drawing publishing from BIM is expected to resolve these problems. Despite attempts for automate shop drawing production, the field of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) is yet regarded challenging due to complexity of components and connection. In this research, we develop a process for automated producing 3D MEP shop drawings in BIM environment as following steps: to analyze conventional MEP shop drawing process, to identify detailed process that can be automated, to classify existing MEP objects and assign codes usable in BIM, and to develop an application. The validation of automated process is conducted against 10 clean room projects in which MEP is more complex and its cost is higher than other projects in terms of productivity and workers' satisfaction. Results show that the number of manpower for shop drawing is reduced by 30%, and the working time is shortened by 31%. Personal opinions of involved practitioners is interpreted as positive as the average rate of agrement on practicability, easy-to-use and necessary retouch tasks is around 66%.
We propose an effective method for suppressing both side and grating lobes by applying 2-dimensional Fourier Transform to the received channel data during the receive focusing process of an ultrasound imaging system. When the signal from the image point is focused, the channel signals have the same DC value across the channels. However, even after echoes from outside an imaging point are focused, they are manifested as having different spatial frequencies depending on their incident angles. Therefore, after the receive focusing delay time is applied, 2-D Fourier Transform is performed on the time-channel data to separate the DC component and other frequency components in the spectral domain, and the weighting value is defined using the ratio of the two values. The side lobe and grating lobe were suppressed by multiplying the ultrasound image by a weighting value. Ultrasound images with a frequency of 5 MHz were simulated in a 64-channel linear array. The grating lobe appearing in the ultrasound image was completely removed by applying the proposed method. In addition, the side lobe was reduced and the lateral resolution was greatly increased. Results of computer simulation on a human organ mimicking image show that the proposed method can aid in better lesion diagnosis by increasing the image contrast.
Various RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) are key components in RNA metabolism and contribute to several neurodevelopmental disorders. To date, only a few of such RBPs have been characterized for their roles in neocortex development. Here, we show that the RBP, Rbms1, is required for radial migration, polarization and differentiation of neuronal progenitors to neurons in the neocortex development. Rbms1 expression is highest in the early development in the developing cortex, with its expression gradually diminishing from embryonic day 13.5 (E13.5) to postnatal day 0 (P0). From in utero electroporation (IUE) experiments when Rbms1 levels are knocked down in neuronal progenitors, their transition from multipolar to bipolar state is delayed and this is accompanied by a delay in radial migration of these cells. Reduced Rbms1 levels in vivo also reduces differentiation as evidenced by a decrease in levels of several differentiation markers, meanwhile having no significant effects on proliferation and cell cycle rates of these cells. As an RNA binding protein, we profiled the RNA binders of Rbms1 by a cross-linked-RIP sequencing assay, followed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction verification and showed that Rbms1 binds and stabilizes the mRNA for Efr3a, a signaling adapter protein. We also demonstrate that ectopic Efr3a can recover the cells from the migration defects due to loss of Rbms1, both in vivo and in vitro migration assays with cultured cells. These imply that one of the functions of Rbms1 involves the stabilization of Efr3a RNA message, required for migration and maturation of neuronal progenitors in radial migration in the developing neocortex.

Quantitative analysis of the Zingiber Officinale sample using subcritical water extraction (SWE) was developed employing High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to bolster the advancement of this innovative green extraction process. This research focuses on three principal ginger bioactive compounds: 6-gingerol, 6-shagoal, and 10-gingerol. Various stages were undertaken to establish the quantitative analysis method, encompassing the optimisation of HPLC operating conditions and the formulation of standard calibration curves, yielding individual compound equations. A robust correlation within the calibration curve was achieved, exhibiting an r2 value of 0.9814 and an RSD of 5.00%. A simultaneous, swift, and dependable method was established with an injection time of 20 minutes and an 8-minute delay between injections, in contrast to the previous HPLC analysis requiring a 45-minute injection time for detecting and quantifying all components. Notably, no post-treatment was applied after the SWE process. This advancement allows for potential future online measurement of Zingiber Officinale bioactive compounds extracted using subcritical water extraction through this technology.
The studies reported herein are on the varietal differences of rice in the effects of seeding times and nursery periods on the components such as, culm length, ear length, number of ears, ear weight, straw weight, and grain/straw ratio following the first series of studies on heading date. In the present investigations, 50 rice varieties, as the preceding studies, were seeded nine times at the interval of 15 days from March 15 to July 28 in 1963. Each variety seeded at respective time was transplanted in 40 days in nursery after seeded. Reviewing the result obtained from the first series of the studies on heading date, the number of days required to heading from seeding were decreased by delaying the seeding time. Most varieties tended to decrease in the number of days from seeding to heading by the 8th planting time. Some of varieties seemed to be decreased in the number of days from seeding to heading by 9th seeding time. However most varieties were failed to show heading delaying the seeding date at the 10th seeding. The results on the effects of altering the seeding time on the components and varietal differences of the response are summarized as follows; 1) Culm length; It appeared that culm length was shortened when the number of days from seeding to heading was decreased by delaying the seeding date. The varieties which needed many days to heading were also shortened in their culm length. 2) Ear length; Ear length was also shortened when the number of days needed tocheading was decreased, by delaying the seeding time. The varieties which needed many days for heading were also shortened in their ear length, while those which headed earlier seemed to be lengthened in their ear lengths. 3) Number of ears; It was shown that the number of ears was increased with the delay of the heading date, whereas, at the 9th seeding the number of ears was decreased when delayed the heading date. 4) Ear weight; Ear weight per hill was also likely to be heavy throughout the seeding times and varieties except the 7th and 8th seedings in which it appeared to be light on the contrary. 5) Straw weight; Straw weight became heavier as delayed the seeding date throughout all the varieties and seeding dates. 6) The grain/straw ratio; The grain/straw ratio was gradually increased by the 5th seeding time, reaching the pick at 5th. An examination of the varieties at each seeding date showed that the grain/straw ratio was low from 1st to 3rd seeding and from 7th to 9th seeding, when the number of days required to heading from seeding are increased. At the 4th seeding time-which is standard seeding time-5th, and 6th seeding times the ratio was high with the delay of heading.
Differences in critical period of weed competition were investigated among five types of rice(Oryza sativa L.) cultivation. Increase in weed-free period resulted in 1-2 days delay of heading date in machine transplanting and direct-seeding as compared with complete weed-free plot. When weedy period increased, there was no difference in heading date in transplanting cultivations. In direct-seeding, however, weedy period of 7-10 weeks after seeding(WAS) resulted in 4-7 days delay of heading date, whereas further increase in the weedy period caused rather 5-6 days advance in heading date. Weed-free period did not significantly affect yield components in conventional hand transplanting. In machine transplanting with 30-day-old seedling decreases in percent ripening and 1,000-grain weight were caused by weeds emerged within 4 weeks after transplanting(WAT). All yield components were decreased due to weedy period in machine transplanting with 10-day-old seedling. In direct-seeding weedy periods caused to decrease in number of panicles, number of spikelets, percent ripening, and 1,000-grain weight were 8-9, 4-5, 3-4, and 8-10 WAS, respectively. The critical periods of weed competition were determined as the following. In conventional hand transplanting weed-free must be maintained for either 4 weeks after transplanting or the rest period after 8 WAT. In machine transplanting with 30-day-old seedling weed-free must keep for either 5 weeks after transplanting or the rest period after 8 WAT. In machine transplanting with 10-day-old seedling weeds must be removed for either 5 weeks after transplanting or the rest period after 7 WAT. Weed-free must be kept between 5 and 7 WAS in flood direct-seeded rice and between 6 and 9 WAS in dry direct-seeded rice.
With stabilization of the recent multi-GNSS infrastructure, and as multi-GNSS has been proven to be effective in improving the accuracy of the positioning performance in various industrial sectors. In this study, in view that SF(Single frequency) GNSS receivers are widely used due to the low costs, evaluate effectiveness of SF Real Time Point Positioning(SF-RT-PP) based on four multi-GNSS surveying methods with RTCM-SSR correction streams in static and kinematic modes, and also derive response challenges. Results of applying SSR correction streams, CNES presented good results compared to other SSR streams in 2D coordinate. Looking at the results of the SF-RT-PP surveying using SF signals from multi-GNSS, were able to identify the common cause of large deviations in the altitude components, as well as confirm the importance of signal bias correction according to combinations of different types of satellite signals and ionospheric delay compensation algorithm using undifferenced and uncombined observations. In addition, confirmed that the improvement of the infrastructure of Multi-GNSS allows SF-RT-SPP surveying with only one of the four GNSS satellites. In particular, in the case of code-based SF-RT-SPP measurements using SF signals from GPS satellites only, the difference in the application effect between broadcast ephemeris and SSR correction for satellite orbits/clocks was small, but in the case of ionospheric delay compensation, the use of SBAS correction information provided more than twice the accuracy compared to result of the Klobuchar model. With GPS and GLONASS, both the BDS and GALILEO constellations will be fully deployed in the end of 2020, and the greater benefits from the multi-GNSS integration can be expected. Specially, If RT-ionospheric correction services reflecting regional characteristics and SSR correction information reflecting atmospheric characteristics are carried out in real-time, expected that the utilization of SF-RT-PPP survey technology by multi-GNSS and various demands will be created in various industrial sectors.
This experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of planting date and planting density on yield and yield components of Fritillariae bulbus from 1989 to 1991. The Chungbuk local variety was used, and the experimental materials were planted six times with 10 days interval from Aug. 20 to Oct. 10. 33, 22, 17 and 13 bulbs were planted by the square meter, respectively. The compound fertilizer for garlic $(N\;-\;P_2O\;-\;K_2O_5=9\;-\;14\;-\;10)$ was applied by 80kgs to the 0.1ha before planting. The experimental design was randomized block design with 3 replications. As the planting dates were earlier, the emerging dates were earlier, too. But the delay of 50 days in the planting affected to the delay of 14 days in the emerging dates. The plant height was 22.7cms in the Aug. 20 plot. As the planting were later, the plant heights were shorter by $2.4{\sim}5.6cms$ than that. As compared with the 829kgs by the 0.1ha of Aug. 30 plot, the others recorded 1 percent increase in the Aug. 20 plot, 4 percent decrease in the Sep. 10 plot, 26 percent decrease in the Sep. 20 plot, 35 percent decrease in the Sep 30 plot, and 38 percent decrease in the Oct. 10 plot. So, the suitable planting dates were from Aug. 20 to Aug. 30.The emerging date of 33 bulb plot by the square meter was March 7, but as the planting densities were sparse, the emerging dates delayed by one to three days. The plant height of the 33 bulb plot by the square meter was 21. 8cms, but the other plots were short by $0.7{\sim}1.8cms$. The number of shoots of the 33 bulb plot by the square meter was 6.1. but the other plots recorded 0.4 increase in the 22 bulb plot, 0.6 increase in the 17 bulb plot and 0.5 increase in the 13 bulb plot compared with that of the 33 bulb plot. Accordingly, the number of shoots in the sparse planting plot was more than that in the dense planting plot. As compared with the 854kgs by the 0.1ha of the 22 bulb plot, the other plots recored 2 percent increase in the 33 bulb plot, 16 percent decrease in the 17 bulb plot and 34 percent decrease in the 13 bulb plot. All things considered, for the culture of Fritillaria thungergii MIQUEL in the middle region, Aug. 25 and 22 bulbs by the square meter were suitable for the planting date and density.

In order to suggest performance analysis directions of ecological components based on a vegetation-based LID system model, this study seeks to analyze the statistical significance between monitoring results by using SWMM computer simulation and rainfall and run-off simulation devices and provide basic data required for a preliminary system design. Also, the study aims to comprehensively review a vegetation-based LID system's soil, a vegetation model, and analysis plans, which were less addressed in previous studies, and suggest a performance quantification direction that could act as a substitute device-type LID system. After monitoring artificial rainfall for 40 minutes, the test group zone and the control group zone recorded maximum rainfall intensity of 142.91mm/hr. (n=3, sd=0.34) and 142.24mm/hr. (n=3, sd=0.90), respectively. Compared to a hyetograph, low rainfall intensity was re-produced in 10-minute and 50-minute sections, and high rainfall intensity was confirmed in 20-minute, 30-minute, and 40-minute sections. As for rainwater run-off delay effects, run-off intensity in the test group zone was reduced by 79.8% as it recorded 0.46mm/min at the 50-minute point when the run-off intensity was highest in the control group zone. In the case of computer simulation, run-off intensity in the test group zone was reduced by 99.1% as it recorded 0.05mm/min at the 50-minute point when the run-off intensity was highest. The maximum rainfall run-off intensity in the test group zone (Dv=30.35, NSE=0.36) recorded 0.77mm/min and 1.06mm/min in artificial rainfall monitoring and SWMM computer simulation, respectively, at the 70-minute point in both cases. Likewise, the control group zone (Dv=17.27, NSE=0.78) recorded 2.26mm/min and 2.38mm/min, respectively, at the 50-minutes point. Through statistical assessing the significance between the rainfall & run-off simulating systems and the SWMM computer simulations, this study was able to suggest a preliminary design direction for the rainwater run-off reduction performance of the LID system applied with single vegetation. Also, by comprehensively examining the LID system's soil and vegetation models, and analysis methods, this study was able to compile parameter quantification plans for vegetation and soil sectors that can be aligned with a preliminary design. However, physical variables were caused by the use of a single vegetation-based LID system, and follow-up studies are required on algorithms for calibrating the statistical significance between monitoring and computer simulation results.
