Adsorption behaviors of positively charged matrix (PAH) onto negatively charged probe (sulfate PS particle) were investigated using DLS (dynamic light scattering) and FPR (fluorescence photobleaching recovery) as view points of matrix and salt concentration. The system experienced sharp decrease of diffusion (flocculation) at dilute condition while the system underwent gradual decrease of diffusion above semi-dilute concentration. With FPR and viscometry experiments, we revealed the probe behaviors in polyelectrolyte solution were strongly affected by the coil overlap concentration (0.5 g/L PAH concentration).

We obtain $C^{\infty}$-continuous paths of explicit Riemannian metrics $g_t$, $0{\leq}t$ < ${\varepsilon}$, whose scalar curvatures $s(g_t)$ decrease, where $g_0$ is a flat metric, i.e. a metric with vanishing curvature. Most of them can exist on tori of dimension ${\geq}3$. Some of them yield scalar curvature decrease on a ball in the Euclidean space.

Sleepiness, or hypersomnia, is a relatively common complaint and one of the main problems of modern society. Accurate evaluation and diagnosis of sleepiness are important. The methods used for evaluating sleepiness are subjective measures or self-evaluations, performance decrease measures, sleep propensity measures, and arousal decrease measures. A clear and detailed history is important in differential diagnosis of sleepiness because symptoms of sleepiness may be expressed in terms of 'tiredness' or 'fatigue' that do not directly denote sleepiness. Comprehensive diagnostic evaluation is also invaluable because these symptoms may result from a variety of causes ranging from medical disorders to insufficient nocturnal sleep.

In this paper, a variable structure system control method is proposed to the trajectory control of robot arm. A proposed method uses nonlinear switching function and saturation function. Furthermore, learning control method uses to decrease of the following error. The computer simulation results show that the chattering and the following error decrease and is improved the control the performance by a proposed method.

WSW(Wrap Side Wall) is proposed to decrease junction electric field in this paper. WSW process is fabricated after first gate etch, followed NMI ion implantation and deposition & etch nitride layer New WSW structure has buffer layer to decrease electric field. Also we compared the hot carrier characteristics of WSW and conventional. Also, we design a test pattern including pulse generator, level shifter and frequency divider, so that we can evaluate AC hot carrier degradation on-chip.

2-amino-3-methylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoline (IQ), a heterocyclic amine, significantly inhibits nitric oxide (NO) production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated macrophages. The decrease in NO production was found to correlate well with a decrease in iNOS mRNA expression as demonstrated by Northern blot analysis.(omitted)

The line commutated inverter with GTO forced commutation is described in this paper. The presented circuit has one bypass GTO inserted in DC power side line commutated thyristor inverter. The extended commutation region with additional one GTO-commutation is clearly shown. Also, a new PWM pattern is presented to decrease the effects of harmonics for commutation. A criterion for designing the AC filter parameters to decrease harmonics of AC part is given. The simulation and experimental results clearly show that the proposed circuit can be adapted in the application of regeneration.

Coprecipitates of sulpiride and polyethylene glycol (PEG) decrease the dissolution rate of sulpiride and the degree of decrease is reversely proportional to molecular size of PEG and proportional to increase of PEG ratios in coprecipitates. The physical mixtures of sulpiride and PEG increase the dissolution rate of sulpiride.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of physical and chemical characteristics of lower grade tobacco with treatment of ozone. In ozonization of low grade tobacco, optimum moisture was 20 percentage, and decrease ratio of content of tobacco leaf was 30 percentage in nicotine , 15.9 percentage in total volatile base, 10.5 percentage in petroleum-ether-extract, 29.5 percentage in solanesol, and decrease ratio of cigarette smoke composition was 31 percentage in nicotine, 6.08 percentage in tar.

Sensitivity analysis and structural modification technique are used to reduce the interior noise of a passenger car. The sensitivity analysis for the noise level at the rear seat shows that the stiffness change at the front lower member and the rear roof rail are sensitive. Using the structural modification method, we verified that the reinforcements at those members decrease the noise transfer function from the body to the rear seat. The combined application of the sensitivity analysis and structural modification method can decrease the noise level effectively.
