지하철 역무직 근로자의 주간수면과다증 영향 요인 (The influential Factors of excessive daytime sleepiness for public Service Workers at Subway Stations)

  • 본 연구는 서울시내 소재 지하철 역무직 근로자 927명을 대상으로 주간수면과다증에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 자료수집은 구조화된 설문지로 웹사이트에서 하였고, 자료분석은 SPSS 20.0 통계프로그램을 이용하였다. 연구결과는 일반적 특성에서 결혼여부가 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었고, 건강관련특성에서 취미/여가 활동 여부가 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 직무관련특성에서 근무장소, 소속만족도가 유의한 차이가 있었고, 직무스트레스 요인으로 물리적 환경, 직무요구, 직무자율, 관계갈등, 조직체계, 보상부적절, 조직문화에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 주간수면과다증에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 취미여가활동, 소속만족도, 물리적 환경, 직무요구, 직무자율, 조직체계, 조직문화 이었으며 20.5%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 향후 역무직 근로자들에게 주간수면과다증을 예방할 수 있는 취미/여가활동의 권장과 직무스트레스 해소를 위한 물리적 환경개선, 조직체계의 변화 및 조직문화의 만족을 위한 중재 프로그램의 개발 및 운영을 제안한다.

병원간호사의 근무형태와 주간수면과다증에 따른 직무몰입 (A Study on Job Involvement according to Working Pattern and Daytime Sleepiness among Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine job involvement according to working pattern and daytime sleepiness in hospital nurses. Methods: At 2 hospitals in affiliation of university, after obtaining participant's consent form, data were collected from October to November, 2007. Twohundred fifty nurses participated in the study. Questionnaire consisted of Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), Job Involvement. Collected data was analyzed with SPSS 14.0 program, which was used for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: Major findings of this study were as follows 1) The nurses for 3 shift work was 172 (68.8%), the nurses for 2 shift work was 3 (1.2%) and the nurses for day fixation was 75 (30.0%). 2) Mean of ESS was 5.94 (3.28), daytime sleepiness was 13.2% and Job involvement had a mean of $21.27.{\pm}4.61.3$) There were significant differences between shift work and day fixed work on ESS (t=4.33, p<.001), job involvement (t=6.54, p<.001). Higher ESS were significantly related to lower job involvement (r=-.185, p=.003). Conclusion: The finding of this study gives useful informations about sleep and work involvement of hospital nurses. It is need to develop systemic management for shift work nurses by hospital, nurse organization, and government.

직장의 유무가 야간대학생의 식행동 및 영양섭취 상태에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Daytime Jobs on the Dietary Behaviors and Nutrient Intakes among Evening Class University Students)

  • This study was conducted among the university students to investigate the effects of working in an daytime and studying in an evening class on dietary behaviors and nutrient intakes. A 24-hour recall method was used along with food frequency questionnaires. The subjects were composed of three groups : 172 were in the daytime calss regular student group(RS), 178 were evening class students without a job(ESWOJ), and 140 were evening class students with a job(ESWJ). An average age of the ESWJ was 31 years old, which was 9 years older than the RS and 7 years older than the ESWOJ. The types of the residence were significantly different among the groups ; were seif-boarding 74% of the ESWJ stayed at home while 47% of the RS were self-boarding and 61% of the ESWOJ. The survey shows that while a great majority of the RS and ESWOJ has breakfast and supper at home, about 10% and 17% of the ESWJ ate breakfast and supper, respectively, at the cafeteria in their work place. The most frequently skipped meal was the breakfast in all groups. Approximately 9% of the ESWJ tended to skip the breakfast, while 27% of the RS and 33% of the ESWOJ did. It turns out that the mose common reason why ESWJ skipped meals was due to a lack of time. About 71% of the ESWJ ate out more than once a week compared to 57% and 62% of the RS and ESWOJ, respectively. Approximately 30% of the ESWJ spent less than 10 minutes at meal time, showing a hurried eating habit. The results show that the ESWJ tended to eat a variety of food s and eat less instant foods, but drink coffee more often compared to the other two groups. The results also show that in all groups, the intakes of energy, Ca, and vitamin A were lower than the Korean Recommended Daily Allowances(RDA). In addition to these nutrients, protein, vitamin B1, vitamin $B_2$, and niacin were also lower than the RDA in all make students, and Fe was lower than the RDA in all female students. Among the deficient nutrients, vitamin A showed the lowest % RDA : 48% in the male and 64% in the female students. The intakes of Ca, Fe, and niacin in the ESWJ were significantly greater than those in the RS and ESWOJ groups, and the vitamin C intake in the ESWJ was greater than that in the ESWOJ(p<0.01). In conclusion, university students in all three groups have a serious imbalance in the nutrient intakes, and the evening class students with a daytime job have unhealthy dietary behaviors in the light of high frequency of eating out and heavy coffee drinking, a rushed eating pattern, and therefore showing a strong need of proper nutritional education for them.

임상간호사의 주간 졸림, 불면증, 수면의 질에 관한 연구 (A Study on Daytime Sleepiness, Insomnia, and the Quality of Sleep in Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to investigate sleep quality and the related factors among clinical nurses. Methods: Data were collected from 208 nurses in general hospitals through self-report. Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Korean Epworth Sleepiness Scale (KESS), Insomnia Severity Index (ISS) were used. The data were analyzed t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, and multiple regression using the SPSS 20.0 program. Results: The mean scores of the subjects were $7.58{\pm}3.61$ on daytime sleepiness, $9.93{\pm}6.22$ on insomnia, and $7.29{\pm}3.05$ on sleep quality. The sleep quality in clinical nurses significantly influenced by insomnia (${\beta}=.55$, t=8.14, p<.001), daytime sleepiness (${\beta}=.16$, t=2.83, p=.005), and work satisfaction (${\beta}=-.15$, t=-2.35, p=.020). The three variables explained 55.9% of variance of sleep quality (F=10.73, p<.001). Conclusion: Sleep quality was influenced by daytime sleepiness, insomnia, and job satisfaction. To improve sleep quality, hospitals managers or leaders need to provide sleep promotion programs for preventing daytime sleepiness and insomnia.

요양병원 간호사의 일터학습과 직무만족이 노인간호실천에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Workplace Learning, Job Satisfaction and Geriatric Nursing Practice of Nurses in Long-term Care Hospitals)

  • 본 연구는 노인간호의 질 향상을 위해 일터학습, 직무만족 및 노인간호실천 정도와 변수 간의 관계를 확인하여 노인간호실천에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 9개 요양병원 간호사 146명을 대상으로 2016년 5월 1일부터 6월 30일까지 설문지를 이용하여 자료 수집하였고, SPSS/WIN 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 일터학습, 직무만족, 노인간호실천의 차이는 t-test, ANOVA, 사후검정은 Scheff? test를 이용하였고, 일터학습, 직무만족, 노인간호실천 간의 상관관계는 Pearson's correlation, 노인간호실천에 대한 영향요인을 확인하기 위해 multiple linear regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 요양병원 간호사의 일터학습은 평균 3.99점(6점), 직무만족은 3.03점(5점), 노인간호실천은 3.38점(4점)이었으며, 일반적 특성 중 근무형태에 따라 노인간호실천에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 노인간호실천은 일터학습의 하위영역인 우연적 학습 및 직무만족과 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있음이 확인되었고, 다중회귀분석 결과 노인간호실천에 영향을 미치는 요인은 근무경력, 주간근무, 직무만족이었으며, 설명력은 20%였다. 본 연구를 통해 직무만족을 높이는 것이 노인간호실천을 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였으므로, 요양병원 간호사의 직무만족을 높이는 방안에 대한 논의가 필요할 것으로 보인다. 또한 요양병원 간호사를 대상으로 노인간호실천을 위한 일터학습과 직무만족에 대한 연구가 부족하므로 후속 연구를 제언한다.

택배종사자의 직무스트레스 요인 특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of Job Stress Factors in Delivery Workers)

  • Job stress factors are factors that induce biological, psychological, and behavioral responses in individuals when they encounter mental and physical stimuli in the workplace. According to occupational safety and health standards, employers are responsible for the health consequences of job stress when workers engage in activities that result in high levels of physical fatigue and mental stress. Such activities include long working hours, shift work (including night shifts), driving vehicles, and operating precision machinery. Therefore, precautionary measures should be implemented. Following the COVID-19 epidemic, the logistics industry in Korea has experienced rapid growth owing to the shift from offline to online platforms facilitated by advanced digital infrastructure. Consequently, this study conducted a survey to analyze job stress factors among delivery workers. The survey utilized a Korean job stress factor assessment tool comprising 43 items and analyzed job stress factors considering the work characteristics of the courier business field obtained from responses provided by 421 courier workers nationwide. The survey analysis revealed that the physical environment, job demands, and job autonomy exhibited higher stress indices among Korean workers. Furthermore, the younger the age, the higher the stress on job demands, whereas the higher the age, the higher the stress on relationship conflict, job instability, and workplace culture. In addition, daytime delivery work was associated with higher stress levels in job demands and job instability compared with nighttime delivery work. These findings can serve as foundational data for reducing and preventing job stress among courier workers, whose workload has increased owing to the growth of the logistics industry.

한의원 종사자들의 직무만족도에 관한 예비연구 (A pilot study on job satisfaction of korean medical clinic workers)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the job satisfaction of the korean medical clinic workers, and understand the factors that affect the satisfaction thereby increasing the efficiency of human resource management and providing the basic data to establish the management strategy. We visited 50 korean medical clinics which were chosen randomly from the korean medical clinics in the city of Changwon, Gyungnam. First, we explained the purpose of the study and survey contents to the surveyees, then distributed the Questionnaire and collected them. The data analysis was done statistically using the SPSS WIN IBM 20.0 program. The results were as follows: Professional career, interpersonal relationship, work autonomy, and overall job satisfaction showed significant differences depending on ages. While satisfaction of interpersonal relationship showed significant difference depending on final education. Depending on marriage status, while married persons showed significantly high satisfaction on professional career, interpersonal relationship, work autonomy, administration, and overall job satisfaction, there is no significant difference on income satisfaction. The number of years worked in the current clinic showed significant difference on administration satisfaction. Also, daytime working hours showed significant difference on administration and overall job satisfaction. The work area showed significant difference on overall job satisfaction. The income level showed significant differences on professional career, administration, and overall job satisfaction. From this study, it was confirmed that demographic characteristics and work environment factors showed significant differences on overall job satisfaction of workers in korean medical clinics. Therefore, in order to facilitate efficient manpower utilization and organization efficiency maximization, and motivation of human resources, a detailed plan should be developed to improve working environment and take demographic characteristics into consideration.

학령기 아동의 문제행동과 관련요인 (Problems Behavior and Its Related Factors in School-aged Children)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate problem behavior and its related factors in school-aged children. Methods: A descriptive correlational study was conducted with 221 mothers of children at 1st to 6th grades. Data were collected from March to April, 2015 using self-report structured questionnaires. Questionnaires included characteristics of subjects, Korean Child Behavior Checklist for measuring problem behavior and Children's Sleep Habits Questionnaire for assessing sleeping habits. Collected data were analyzed by independent t-test, $x^2$ test, and multiple logistic regression. Results: In logistic regression analysis, having any maternal job (aOR=2.8, 95% CI=1.1~6.9) and higher daytime sleepiness (aOR=2.9, 95% CI=1.2~7.4) were statistically significant contributors of internal problems. Higher bedtime resistance (aOR=2.2, 95% CI=1.0~4.9) and higher daytime sleepiness (aOR=2.8, 95% CI=1.2~6.3) were statistically significant contributors of external problems. Higher bedtime resistance (aOR=4.3, 95% CI=1.5~12.4) was statistically significant contributors of total problem behavior. Conclusion: School-aged children with sleeping problem are at risk for problem behavior. More attention is need to consider sleeping habits for supporting behavioral improvement in school-aged children.

민간경비원의 직무스트레스가 이직의사에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Stress and Turnover Intention among the Employee of Private Security)

  • 본 연구는 민간경비원의 직무스트레스가 이직의사에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 연구의 목적이 있으며, 2005년 현재 경찰청에 등록된 서울 및 수도권 소재 민간경비업체 중, 50명 이상 근무하고 있는 업체를 모집단으로 설정하였다. 선정된 경비업체의 민간경비원을 표집대상으로 설정한 후 유층집락무선표집법(stratified cluster random sampling)과 할당표집방법(quota sampling)을 병행 사용하여 표본을 추출하였다. 조사도구는 설문지를 사용하였으며, 타당도와 신뢰도 분석을 통해 검증을 실시한 후 사용하였다. 데이터는 각 목적에 맞게 부호화하여 입력시킨 후 사회과학통계 프로그램인 SPSS 12.0 version을 이용하여 전산처리 하였다. 이와 같은 방법과 절차에 따른 자료 분석을 통하여 본 연구에서 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민간경비원의 사회인구학적 특성에 따라 직무스트레스 및 이직의사의 차이를 검증한 결과 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직무스트레스와 이직의사의 상관과계 분석 결과 직무환경과 이직의사에서 정적인 관계를 나타내었다. 셋째, 민간경비원의 직무스트레스가 이직의사에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

주간졸음에 관련된 요인과 야간근무와 아로마테라피가 자율신경계에 미치는 영향: 도시철도승무원 대상 (Factors Related to Daytime Sleepiness and the Effects of Night Work and Aromatherapy on the Autonomic Nervous System: Targeting an Urban Railway Crew)

  • 본 연구는 야간 근무 도시철도승무원을 대상으로 직무스트레스와 수면장애가 낮 시간대 졸음에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석결과 낮 시간대 졸음 지수는 타 근무시간대 보다 높게 측정되어 졸음 정도가 심한 것으로 나타났다. 이후 일반적으로 수면장애 및 스트레스 완화에 도움이 된다고 알려진 아로마에센셜 오일을 야간근무 근무자들에게 처치하여 스트레스와 자율신경계에 미치는 효과를 검증하였다. 아로마테라피를 처치 받은 실험군은 아무것도 처치하지 않은 대조군과 비교하여 스트레스의 감소, 자율신경계의 전체 활성도가 개선되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 도시철도승무원의 야간근무가 스트레스 증가와 자율신경계에 부정적으로 영향을 미치며, 이를 완화하기 위하여 아로마테라피 처치가 좋은 대안이 될 수 있음을 입증하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 야간 근무자들의 스트레스를 완화시켜 잠재적인 안전사고 예방에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
