  • This study analyzes the physiological changes that occur after free diving and studies peroxidants and antioxidants according to the recovery method. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to provide proper rest methods after free diving and provide basic data for free diving research. Eight male college students recovered for 30 minutes after 20 free injections at a 5-meter diving site, 20 free injections after a week's car wash, and recovered for 30 minutes after collecting blood during recovery to analyze the effects of peroxidants and antioxidants. Comparison of changes in peroxidants and antioxidants in recovery methods after free-diving iterations showed that SOD tended to decrease immediately after free-diving, increasing MDA to 10 minutes after recovery, but no significant difference was found. The purpose of this study is to observe physiological changes according to the recovery method after free diving and to propose an appropriate recovery method after free diving. However, there was no significant difference in all the restoration methods, and 20 freediving was not high kinetic intensity for the subjects, which is believed to have resulted in the following results. Therefore, it was discussed that the repetitive diving strength should be higher to confirm a significant difference in the recovery method after free diving.

  • The influence of the data deletion method which is one of anti-forensic techniques is substantial in terms of forensic analysis compared to its simplicity of the act. In academic world, recovery techniques on deleted files have been continuously studied in response to the data deletion method and representatively, the file system-based file recovery technique and file format based recovery technique exist. If there's metadata of deleted file in file system, the file can be easily recovered by using it, but if there's no metadata, the file is recovered by using the signature-based carving technique or the file format based recovery technique has to be applied. At this time, in the file format based recovery technique, the file structure analysis and possible recovery technique should be provided. This paper proposes the page recovery technique on deleted PDF file based on the structural characteristics of PDF file. This technique uses the tag value of page object which constitutes one page of PDF file. Object is extracted by utilizing each tag value as a kind of signature and by analyzing extracted object, the metadata of PDF file is recombined and then it's reconfigured page by page. Recovering by page means that even if deleted PDF file is damaged, even some pages consisting of PDF file can be recovered. Generally, if the file system based file is not recoverable, deleted file is recovered by applying the signature based carving technique. The technique which we proposed in this paper can recover PDF files that are damaged. In the digital forensic perspective, it can be utilized to recover more data than previously.

  • This paper presents a reference-less dual loop clock and data recovery (CDR) circuit that supports a data rate of 2.496 Gb/s for the mobile industry processor interface (MIPI) M-PHY. An adaptive loop bandwidth scheme is used to implement the fast lock time maintaining a low time jitter. To this scheme, the proposed CDR consists of two loops for a frequency locked loop and a phase locked loop. The proposed 2.496 Gb/s reference-less dual loop CDR is designed using a 65 nm CMOS process with 1.2 V supply voltage. The simulated peak-to-peak jitter of output clock is 9.26 ps for the input data of 2.496 Gb/s pseudo-random binary sequence (PRBS) 15. The active area and power consumption of the implemented CDR are $470{\times}400{\mu}m^2$ and 6.49 mW, respectively.

  • Background/Aims: Data on the incidence of adverse respiratory events during recovery from gastrointestinal endoscopy are limited. The aim of this study was to investigate the incidence of these complications. Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, data were obtained from the electronic records of 657 consecutive patients, who underwent gastroenterological procedures under sedation. Results: Pulse oximetry oxygen saturation (SpO2) <90% for <60 seconds occurred in 82 patients (12.5%), and in 11 patients (1.7%), SpO2 of <90% for >60 seconds occurred in 79 patients (12.0%) and in 14 patients (2.1%), and SpO2 <75% occurred in four patients (0.6%) and in no patients during the procedure and recovery period, respectively. No major complications were noted. The occurrence of desaturation during recovery was correlated with desaturation during the procedure (p<0.001). Higher American Society of Anesthesiologists score (odds ratio [OR], 1.867; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.008-3.458), ischemic heart disease (OR, 1.815; 95% CI, 0.649-5.080), hypertension (OR, 1.289; 95% CI, 0.472-3.516), and diabetes mellitus (OR, 2.406; 95% CI, 0.950-6.095) increased the occurrence of desaturation during recovery. Conclusions: We found no major complications during recovery after balanced propofol-based sedation administered by a gastroenterologist-nurse team. Patients with the identified risk predictors must be monitored carefully.

  • In this paper, a novel 622Mbps burst-mode clock and data recovery (CDR) circuit is proposed for passive optical network (PON) applications. The CDR circuits are implemented with 0.35um CMOS process technology. Locking dynamics is accomplished with instantaneous feature and data are sampled at an optimal timing. This is realized by seven different delay configurations, which are generated from precisely-controlled delay buffers. The experimental results show that the proposed CDR circuits are operating as expected, recovering an incoming 622Mbps burst-mode input data without errors.

  • With the development of micro electronic circuits and optical equipment, the demand for developing smart munitions with the ability to autonomously search for and attack targets has increased. Since the electronic components within smart munitions are affected by high temperatures, pressure, and impulsive forces upon the combustion of gunpowder, stability and reliability need to be secured for them. Securing those stability and reliability requires soft recovery system which can decelerate smart munitions. A theoretical analysis of flow is performed for the secure recovery of bullets on the basis of Navier-Stokes equation for compressible fluids. The inner pressure on a pressure tube, the speeds of bullets, and the deceleration of munitions are calculated theoretically. Theoretical results are compared with the data from the experiment with soft recovery system set up at the laboratory.
