Analysis of learning-related data for one semester of lectures that were collected from 70 humanities students in departments A and B, data collected from a creative convergence app development contest extracurricular program, and data obtained through a questionnaire show that extracurricular program activities affect academic performance. The results of the core competency diagnosis test for students that was conducted before and after participating in the curriculum showed that core competencies improved for both A and B departments after participating in the curriculum. This study shows that extracurricular program activities can help individuals improve their abilities, while also providing customized guidance to reclusive students to improve their academic performance. By carrying out customized coaching for each department to develop apps related to the major field rather than general apps, we hope for improvements in ability to solve problems by converging with the major field, computational thinking, and creative thinking, in the future.
In 2015 the Department of Education announced that it will make downsizing efforts by recommending classified downsizing ratio according to the evaluation of universities for active support toward autonomous efforts of universities with the possibilities of reform and qualitative structural reform for customized human resource cultivation according to the social demands. This is the preemtive structural reform preparing against the rapid decrease of the number of students, and the preparation for changing into competitive universities so that customized human resource that is needed in the society can be trained. Security Science Departments of Korea, first established in 1996, need changes in curriculum in order to prepare for the fourth revolution of the future, and are stagnant on the education goal and employment course. Therefore the adoption of related certificates, curriculum, NCS, and professional curriculum is needed. For example, Hansei University, Chung-Ang University, and Far East University have established the Department of Industrial Security, and Kyonggi University and Sungshin Women's University have established the Department of Convergence Security. Also, Konkuk University has established the Graduate School of Security and Disasters, the Graduate School of Information and Policy, the Graduate School of Criminal Justice, Gachon University the Graduate School of National Security, Sungkyunkwan University the Graduate School of Strategic Studies. This shows that the field of Security Science should not settle for itself. This article analyzes current curriculum and subjects of security, police, industrial security, military related academic departments of key universities. It is necessary to prepare for the future by predicting the change from the merge of academic departments and the demands of the times. As technical colleges are adopting NCS, this is the time to seek for systematic collaboration between universities and technical colleges and between industry, government, and academida.

As the economic, social, and environmental problems of the local community reach a serious level, our society is realizing the need to foster young talents who discover opportunities in local issues through entrepreneurship education and create social values through creative challenges. However, entrepreneurship education programs are generally focused on commerciality, so customized education programs to solve regional problems are insufficient. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a community problem-solving entrepreneurship curriculum. In this study, a competency based curriculum model was applied to develop the curriculum, and regional problem-solving entrepreneurship competencies were derived through expert advice from a total of 10 people. In the process, the Delphi methodology was additionally used to reduce the possibility of errors in the competency model. As a result of the study, a total of 23 regional problem-solving entrepreneurship competencies were confirmed, and knowledge(K) - skill(S) - attitude(A) by competency consisted of 5, 9, and 9, respectively. By applying this to Dunham's problem-solving six-step model, modular learning support measures were developed in the order of phase 1(problem discovery), phase 2(problem analysis), phase 3(plan), phase 4(measure), and phase 5(evaluation). This study is meaningful in that it integrated theory and practice by developing specific entrepreneurship curriculum and learning support measures based on the theoretical model devised in social welfare. In addition, it has implications in that it developed a regional problem-solving entrepreneurship competency model based on expert advice and proposed a specific curriculum based on this.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the type of latent profile for general high school students' subject selection criteria and to identify the characteristics of the latent class. The survey data of 1072 general high school students (male; 648, female; 424) in G city, Jeollabuk-do and the scale composed of 8 sub-factors: 'SAT orientation', 'academic achievement', 'ability orientation', 'pursuit of interest', 'teacher orientation', 'career development', 'others' recommendation', and 'subject availability' were used for latent profile analysis and cross-analysis between potential layers. As a result of the analysis, high school students' perceptions of subject selection were classified into four latent profiles. The four groups were named 'High Perception Type', 'Low Perception Type', 'Self-Directed Type', and 'Stability-Oriented Type' according to their types. It was found that there was a difference between the latent classes in the importance and performance level of the subject selection criteria. These results can help identify the subject selection tendencies of latent groups in the operation of the 2015 revised curriculum and the 2025 high school credit system that emphasizes the student-centered course selection curriculum and they can also provide customized course selection guidance considering individual differences.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of students' academic achievement of middle school science curriculum achievement standards in the 2009 revised national curriculum and to generate implications for curriculum improvement. Based on the results of the 2015-2018 National Assessment of Educational Achievement (NAEA), we analyzed middle school students' mastery of 84 curriculum achievement standards. In the analysis, we used representative item information by achievement level and correct answer rate and checked the validity of the determination of mastery. According to the results of the analysis, 15 of the 84 achievement standards could not determine the degree of achievement. In science, many achievement standards could be mastered only by above-average group students. By achievement level, there were six achievement standards that advanced achievement-level students did not achieve, 38 achievement standards judged to represent mastery by advanced achievement-level students, 23 achievement standards judged to represent mastery by proficient achievement-level students, and two achievement standards judged to represent mastery by basic achievement-level students. By content area, the number of achievement standards corresponding to advanced and proficient levels was similar in the areas of motion and energy and earth and space domains. In the material and life domains, there were more achievement standards corresponding to advanced levels. Accordingly, it is necessary to reinforce customized teaching and learning activities in relation to achievement standards that were under-achieved.
